This is an excellent property with wonderful lady at the front desk. It may be a roadside property but the rooms are super quite and clean. If you have ever have your head sinking into the pillow of those multi star big chain hotels and you hate that, this is the place for you. Slept like a baby and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to be back.

We just needed a place for the night so wasn’t wanting much; however, the app reviews were skewed. Bathrooms moldy. Nonsmoking room filled with smoke smell. Continental breakfast was bread/toast, yogurt, packaged donuts, or cereal. We went to a great breakfast place down the street.

very comfy bed, very good water pressure, clean shower, clean overall but dingy and needs a little TLC. Didn’t like the sink outside the bathroom. Only One hand towel! The refrigerator made a high pitch hum. The bathroom fan was ridiculously ear splitting loud. Forgot to put DND sign on door the first day and came back to find bed made and new towels. Fine i guess but really thought after Covid that didn’t happen anymore anywhere. Next morning cleaning lady knocked at 830 am! Even after we said several times we are sleeping she knocked again. Forgot to ask at check-in what time breakfast was. Wasn’t listed on website and nowhere in room. I went there 650 am and it was dark and locked. went again 10 and only coffee. probably would not stay again.

During breakfast time no one is around to help, milk is over and no one is there is fill it, after returning from the breakfast door access card was not working, it is pretty cool outside and no one is there to help, luckily found service lady few rooms away, she helped with her key to enter. if someone is around to address these type of small issues it would be great

The noise was unbearable. I was on the bottom floor, for some reason they have hardwoods upstairs, and I was awakened all night by someone going to have smoke breaks. There were constant kids running around. I stayed one night and left the next morning at 7 a.m.

Two issues: Exterior of the property could use a clean-up; the exterior is littered with junk and debris. And, I don’t understand why the front desk took a photograph of my driver’s license when I had paid in advance via Expedia. Nevertheless the room itself was clean, quiet and comfortable.

The staff was fantastic, courteous and helpful. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Unfortunately, we were in a downstairs Rome and could hear everything going on in the upstairs room. The upstairs room TV was blaring. Someone was coughing and someone was walking around. It was a long night. The room was nice, but if you have a chance to stay somewhere else, do it.

Check in was simple and check out was just leaving the key, parking is good and overall in a good location, and the room was decently cleaned upon our arrival, these are only reasons I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.

Now for the bad, the rooms are old and small, walls are stained, the seals on the door aren’t the best, also very thin walls.

They also have a stink bug problem and don’t want to admit it, we had a total of 7 bugs that we found over our 3 night stay. As first we thought it was a fluke as they are in the mountains and as a Floridian I know bugs happen sometimes, but nothing beats having a big fly at your head while trying to eat and walking up to bugs crawling on the wall over multiple days.

The housekeeper was very sweet and gave us extra towels when requested and trash bags so I could bag up my trash and place it outside as I usually don’t request room cleanings during hotel stays, but one of the towels I got had a bug leg attached to it.

The coffee machine was down but I was able to get hot water for my tea from it and they had a coffee pot going for those who wanted coffee, and breakfast is very limited. They had sunny d, toast, coffee and muffins and yogurt.

Over all would not stay here again and don’t recommend unless you want to deal with bugs.

This place has a lot of potential but they really need to fix the bug problem and update the rooms.

Average budget hotel. Shower curtain bar pulling out of wall and sagging down like it has done many times before (obvious by multiple repair sites). Sink cracked. Black along baseboards and paint missing on corners. A/C unit loud and top plastic cracked so bad you could get your hand in there. Don’t get a room under the outside wooden staircases (ex #102). People suck and sounds like a herd of elephants going up and down. Black drain flies everywhere, must have killed 15. Trash everywhere outside, even some old furniture stacked up by the firepit. I guess to burn? I could go on, but by previous reviews, I knew what I was getting into. Stayed here years back and I remember it being pretty nice even for it’s age. Not so much now.

Reserved a room with one king bed a week before staying there or more, drove 4 hours and got there around 11 at night and was gave a room with 2 full beds and it smelled like straight weed in that non smoking room. Was ridiculous and called the man in the building and he said someone booked over me but there was 3 rooms left when I booked it. View is alright that’s about it.

We checked in 3 hours early and paid a $25 fee for that. My card got charged twice for it for a total of $51. The toom was ok, except for the bathroom sink being next to the bed in the room, instead of the bathroom, and it was almost inaccessible. Yhe staff fired off fireworks on a Wednesday night until about 2130 hrs.

Staff informed us that breakfast would not be up to par so we did not eat breakfast there. They only gave us two towels for the entire stay, and the second night they only gave us one face towel or washcloth. Washcloth the coffee was terrible in the room, it would seem like from the pictures that there would be a balcony or area that you could look at the mountains, but that's in a specific room., and unreliable because it never stayed connected. There were a limited amount of channels on the TV to watch, and the beds were very uncomfortable because they are spring mattresses. There were two restaurants very close to the inn, one was a Mexican restaurant, la Cabana, and the other was the cottage restaurant. There is also a Dollar general very close as well.

Nice little pool area. No trash seen anywhere on the property. One of the best restaurants ever for good Southern meals one building down, very easy to walk to. Room inside was clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable and we got an excellent quite rest. Facilities are older but there are renovations going on presently, we were not disturbed by any of them. Evidently they are on one end and the guests are on the other for the time being.

Outside grounds in disarray. Bed frame sqeekedl loudly every time you moved and the mattress sunk in horribly. Did not have enough bath linens for our family of three. Sink, bath and bed linens were clean; walls and baseboards needed cleaning and paint.

We chose this place based on other reviews that rated this location highly.

We were very disappointed. We will not plan to stay here again.

Just needed a room for one night while visiting friends who live in the area. This motel was in perfect location for my needs. It’s a rather basic place, nothing fancy. Seems like an older establishment. While there were many cars in the parking lot, it was pleasant and quiet during the night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. I was happy that there was no wall-to-wall carpet in the room. The only slight minus was that the hair dryer didn’t work.

This is a budget family owned hotel. We have been staying here for four years and it gets better every time we come. They have renovated all of the rooms and they are nice. The place is really clean. They are in the process of painting the exterior and getting the pool open. We did lose our internet and TV all of Saturday but we survived. It wasn’t the facilities fault.

This is a great place to stay when you're in Dillard. Gresr service and adequate rooms. Works great for me. I have stayed here two times and will stay again.
The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful.
If you like home style cooking eat at the Cupboard Cafe two doors down.

I’ve stayed in the Ritz Carlton and I’ve stayed at Joes roadside roach motel I am impressed buy very little and Iam horrified by nothing. It is a beautiful location the beds are comfortable, bedding is ok only two bath towels for 2 of us. Clean refridg and microwave and wi fi work tv good clientele hood no noise or drains has a fire pit which is nice. I wished they would have taken this room out of service due to the huge water leak stain. This property has potential but they need to get on these types of repairs. It’s ok for one night and it’s safe but the tash ma Hal it ain’t! But it’s ok for sleeping in and touring all day!
