I stayed at The Nomadic and had such a good experience. Mariela, Cynthia, Sylvia, and Levi were all so friendly and welcoming. You can feel the effort they put into creating a comfortable environment.

The shared room was very clean, comfortable, and well thought out. There were hooks, shelves, and two drawers under each bed which made it easy to stay organized. The attached bathroom was also great with two toilets, two showers, and two sinks with baskets underneath for storing your things. Everything felt intentional and convenient.

The location is perfect. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach and only a couple minutes from restaurants and shops. The pool area and facilities are beautiful with lots of places to chill and relax.

I also loved the free daily yoga. Lauren was amazing.

Overall such a peaceful, organized, welcoming place. I’d absolutely stay again.

A beautiful place to stay with extremely friendly and kind staff who treated us like family more than customers. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The room is cozy and very comfortable. The pool was clean and refreshing for an evening swim. Breakfasts were healthy and satisfying. The coffee was perfect! Also within walking distance of the beach, shops, and many wonderful places to eat. We didn’t move our car once we had parked and enjoyed everything about the area.

I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for my visit Nosara. I even stayed in the dorm and I really enjoyed it. People that stayed in the dorm were all mid budget travellers, very quiet and it was really comfortable and safe

This is an amazing hotel! The staff is so friendly and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful. I would come back here in heart beat. My only critique would be that the mattresses are not very comfortable . Outside of that, it’s a 5 out of 5.

I would absolutely stay at The Nomadic again. The location is great for both beach and restaurants. The ambiance is boutique chill. I loved the layout with most rooms having front porches facing the pool and also a private back patio. There are several cozy areas to play games or read. Breakfast was good- they served just one option but it did vary by day. One yoga class was included per day and I enjoyed all except the breath work (not my thing so I don’t do it). One day they ran out of coffee before 9am which should never happen in a hotel. They provide pool towels but don’t want guests taking them to the beach. This is my one suggestions- get other towels that can go to beach like the quick dry ones they sell in gift shop (for $50!).

Our entire experience was fantastic. The rooms are lovely, the garden/grounds are impeccably well taken care of, and the staff (including the owners) were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious (as was their special brand of organic Costa Rican coffee) and the coconut marg was a hit. It is an easy walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. We will be booking again.

We had a wonderful 4nights at Nomadic. The property is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. This boutique hotel is just the right size for an intimate feel. Really enjoyed the daily yoga, especially the subbed class with Emma who was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast is nice and very fresh, but note they have a rotating menu and only one option per day with no variations. Our only negative is that the coffee is very very weak. The location is perfect with a trail right next to the hotel that provides a shaded short cut to the popular main street. Special thanks to Thony and Sandra who were very helpful in coordinating transport and activities for us when we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

And the staff is incredible. Delicious breakfast is included and a nice healthy light menu to order is available. Close proximity to the beach and beach bikes are available to use free of charge. Surfboard lockers provided and a beautiful yoga studio on the premises with daily classes. This place is a gem and can’t wait to come back to Nosara and stay at the Nomadic.

Absolutely 10/10 I would highly recommend for solo travelers. Nosara is a surfer's and yogi's paradise. I stayed in The Nomadic Hotel dorm, which was clean, quiet and made the best of friends with a few of the other dorm guests. The property itself is gorgeous! The design is so well done. The included breakfast was tasty and I like how they had complimentary morning yoga for guests. The staff were super hospitable and helped get a tuk tuk for transportation. It is conveniently located and an easy walk to the main street where more food and retail, and surf shops are located, not to mention the beach! Between lunch and dinner can be extremely hot, hanging out at the pool at Nomadic was a supreme place to be during that time.

Staff was friendly. Very early in the morning staff moved furniture around on the roof deck above most of the rooms resulting in a lot of noise of things being dragged. Hotel music outside the room was loud early morning as well. Breakfast is limited and ends at 9am. Food and drink prices resembled California. Room was over priced for the quality, service and amenities. What used to be a reasonable priced hotel in Playa Guiones is now the last choice. Plan ahead and stay at Gilded Iguana.

Great place to get away and relax!

What a place! The rooms were clean and fresh feeling. The pool area was comfortable and relaxing with beautiful landscaping. There are many different hang out areas that have been created and the fact that it’s not a huge hotel to begin with made it even better for relaxing. I rented a bike to get to the Guilded Iguana surf club, but most of the shops and restaurants are a short walk away.

The Nomadic is beautiful!! Very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and professional. The pool area is peaceful and serene. Everything is extremely clean. Nice bath products. The decor is modern and fun. The cleaning staff attended to our room in a timely manner. The included breakfasts were delicious and healthy. Lots of fresh fruit juice. We had a great time hanging out in the hammocks. Within waking distance to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The design and flow of the entire property is done very well down to the very last detail. I enjoyed the pool, and the upper deck where yoga mats were provided for yoga in the morning. I also enjoyed the filtered water they had through the property.

Had a wonderful stay here, in the shared rooms. Everything was clean, and well taken care of. There were so many places to relax, outside of the rooms, including the pool area and shared common areas. The breakfast was delicious, and from my understanding is unique every day with some variation of fresh fruit and eggs. Everyone who worked there was so helpful and kind. Also, as a single female traveler I felt completely safe and looked out for here. The staff knew everyone's name and face within hours of arrival, which I found not only welcoming but comforting. I was only here two nights and wanted to stay longer!

Check in: Hotel grounds are stunning. Beautiful architecture/ design, gorgeous pool, & a laid back vibe. So laid back, in fact, that no one was at the front desk for an entire hour when we arrived (even after we called ahead).

Room; The basic room was small & cramped for two people. Little closet space and no mini fridge (important if you want to take chilled beverages to the beach). The bed was nice and the sheets were soft and clean. If you’re traveling with more than 1 person, I’d recommend booking a more spacious room. The owner helped get me extra hangers and fixed our broken safe which was appreciated.

Bfast: Delicious and convenient breakfast and coffee greet you every morning. Fresh juice, fresh fruit + a hearty bfast option!

Service: Our delayed and clunky check in experience characterizes the level of service fairly well. Service is not what you’d expect from a standard hotel/concierge. More like a small bar/check in area that may or may not be staffed at any given time. When they are staffed, they may or may not be helpful, for example, when I asked if they could chill a bottle of wine for me that I was planning to take to go, they told me they could not because if they let me chill my wine in their fridge they’d never sell their own wine. Disappointing since our room did not have a mini fridge or ice bucket.

Location: centrally located. 10 minute walk to the beach. 10 minute walk to little Italy.

Other: Bfast, WiFi, and parking were free

I loved my stay here! I was in the dorm room and the bed was huge and comfortable. There are two showers and two toilets in the room, all very nice and clean. Towels are provided for the shower and the pool. The pool is great. Walking distance from everything in the Playa Guiones area. Breakfast was delicious, just a bit small for me. Would stay again!

The hotel is small, relatively new and very nice. The pool is the perfect place to rest during midday, when the sun makes it impossible to be elsewhere. The room has an amazing bed (we stayed in the king size bed room) with perfect confort. Bathroom works fines and is very moderen. There is no space to store your stuff, only a few hooks, that won't be enough for a couple staying a couple of days (this is an easy fix for the manager).

The breakfast is included, but is not good, you only have one option and not much flexibility every day. You only get half a glass of juice and if you dare to ask for some more.... staff won't be happy... I don't like buffets, but at least, when I pay $250 per night, I expect some more juice...

The local staff (gardener and security) were great, very helpful and kind. The international staff were not very happy to please you or accomodate to your needs...

So, if you are planning to surf in the morning, get your food elsewhere and sleep well, this is a good option. If you like a one shop stop, go to the Gilded Iguana Hotel (has a restaurant). If you don't like surfing, don't come here.... this hotel is not for you.

This is not a Hotel, it is a Hostel charging 250 usd for a room that should not be more than 100.
There is no service at all at the property, just one unfriendly person at the front desk that every time you go ask for something (forget about calling, you just have to walk to reception) she acts as she were doing you a favor.
There are no fridges in the rooms, no minibar, no blackout curtains. Breakfast is made to order, and includes an undrinkable coffee and half a glass of a non-natural juice. Don't ask for more. Also, no food at all at the property (lunch, dinner, or whatever you need you have to go outside).
This is a trap for americans/australians. Again, for 100 a night it's ok, but it is million miles away from a 250 nightly rate.

An absolutely stunning hotel in Nosara. Close to the beach, several restaurants. lovely breakfast included. Small but nice pool.

Room was nice, though not worth what we paid. A problem with caterpillars, I believe they tried to sort but it didn't work. This will need sorting on a permanent basis.

Highly recommended for a lovely stay.

This place is amazing!! Loved everything about it and the location is central and easy access to everything in town...It's a no brainer, I will be back :) Best, Marc
