The pool and property were excellent, we spent an equal amount of time at the hotel and the beach. The one of the mattresses were very hard but despite that we would come back again.

Samara Costa Rica lost electricity on the morning of our last full day in Costa Rica. So at Villas Verdes, we spent the last full day and the time preparing for our exit early the next morning, in total darkness, with no running water or air conditioning. I understand that Villas Verdes cannot control the electricity in Costa Rica (shoddy as it is) but at least they could have check on us and perhaps provided flash lights or even gas lanterns or buckets of water to flush the toilets. But we heard nothing from them! I will not be back. And I think a partial refund if in order. - Thomas

This hotel was quite nice. I really enjoyed the curtained space outside of my room. The fan helped keep the bugs away, but the noise from the road was quite loud. The location is off the main road coming into town, so there a lot of cars during the day. The pool was nice, but it was always very buggy around it.

We had a wonderful time in Viilla #8. The staff were friendly, the property was well kept, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook in the villa. The beach and stores were in walking distance (great location!). We loved our outdoor space, where we ate, read on the hammock or hung out in the sitting area. Thank you!

The suite was very spacious. The patio was large with a swing hammock and dining table. You can walk one block to the beach. We also had a cat visitor hang out by us. And a giant lizard by the pool. The pool was very nice. The property is quaint and small and perfect for a peaceful stay. And price was great! Wish we stayed longer but we wanted to try different properties in the area. This one is definitely our favorite in the area.

Check in and check out was easy and smooth. About a 10 minute walk to Playa Samara. The room was spacious, but the beds were a bit uncomfortable.
We had a rental so went to other beaches nearby as the town is quite small so a couple days there was good enough.

The outside area included in the room make it wonderful to enjoy your coffee and breakfast. Love that there is a full kitchen and fridge. House was in a great spot- can walk anywhere, no idea if they serve good, no one ever mentioned anything. Pool was amazing in the extreme heat. No hot water in upstairs shower. Air was cool in the bedrooms. Available pool/beach toys available to use. We had monkeys on the tree in our backyard. You can walk anywhere, which was great.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay! The suite was large and private, with a lovely and huge terrace to enjoy. The pools were delightful, and the location in town was easy access to all Samara has to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely come back.

Villas verdes was a great spot for our family. Each one is a small little cottage. Ours had two bedrooms and a small kitchen. There are two pools available and a Jacuzzi (not heated). Its in a great location. Literally across the street there is a super market and next door there is a coffee shop. It's a short easy 5 minute walk to the beach and the town is on the same street. You can just walk to restaurants and shops everyday. You feel very safe there but they also have a security guard 24h as an additional safety feature. We would definitely stay here again.

The MOST beautiful setting ever. KORIENNE, the owner, was delighful. Her entire staff were great. Short walk to center of town and the beach. This was first trip to CR, but you know what "Arnold" said, "I WILL BE BACK"

It was a very bad expericiance. When my whole family git to the place to spend new year’s we got the sorprise that the house was already rented. And guess what. The neighbors said that was not the first time this had happend. Apparently the owner have the habit to rent the place multiple times at the same time. It is very irresponsable of him especially at this time of the year where is very difficult to find place.

The owner/manager was amazingly kind and helpful. He did everything possible to make our trip exceptional. The rooms were large, and the kitchen fully functioning, with a beautiful pool. Hotel clearly states that you have until 9pm to check in, but when we showed up at 7:45 the security guard informed us the reception was closed and that there was no one he could call.

We stayed in both the 2 and 3 bedroom villa at the back of the property. It was perfect for our family w/ young kids. These villas are slightly walled off and secluded and our kids loved playing in the courtyard outside our front door, and swinging in the hammocks. We have already recommended this place to numerous friends. It is a short walk to the beach, close to many restaurants, and directly across the street from a well-stocked grocery and liquor store.
