The room was gross. Stained carpets, old broke headboards, the shower was cracked. It smelled like cigarettes and weed. The people next to us were so loud all night partying. I called the front desk, & they did respond quickly to the issue. The hotel staff was friendly, I will give them that.

The hotel was beautiful & clean. The beds were actually very comfortable. The staff was amazing. The pool was closed for repairs, so we didn't get to see it. The ice machines were out of order on several floors, but the concierge was very helpful & got ice for us. The only real complaint we had about our stay was how noisy the street traffic was at night. The hotel can't control traffic at night, so we don't blame them, but we would highly recommend bringing ear plugs or a white noise machine if you're a light sleeper. We stayed on a holiday weekend with a convention & concert going on downtown.

Firstly, chief engineer Matt was FANTASTIC in trying to remedy our pain. Unfortunately it was apparent the Grand Wyndham is running itself into the ground and not being maintained. We had three different rooms where we experienced faulty HVAC, missing shower curtains, towels, leaking faucets and furniture littered with stains (including the seat covers used to hide to stains on the original).

The stay was ok. There was a lot of construction around and we were unable to park ourselves; we had to pay for valet (about $78 for 2 nights) which wasn’t mentioned to us beforehand. The room itself was ok, but the windows were very sun-faded and didn’t give a clear view to the outside - which was all construction due to the new stadium being built. The bathroom was dated, stained with rust, and had mold/signs of water damage with no exhaust fan to prevent excess moisture. The front desk “store” is highway robbery with a single normal candy bar costing $6. The restaurant has a small menu but great staff. The spa was lovely and a great break from the travel chaos. The pool was closed and only had a paper at the front to tell us that you had to grab yourself, once again I wasn’t told about it. We ended up staying on a Sunday and there weren’t a lot of things in town close by and open that were also family-friendly. Overall, I wouldn’t go back even though it wasn’t a bad stay, just meh.

The pool was closed for \"scheduled maintenance\" but we were never told this in advance. We booked this hotel specifically so my wife could swim on her birthday and they never bothered top reach out and let us know their pool was scheduled for maintenance on the weekend of our stay. They gave us \"complementary breakfast\" because of the pool inconvenience and said we could drive to a hotel down the road and use their pool. After parking in the paid parking garage, We had to load up, leave, pay for that quick park, just to go to another one to swim, and come back. They do not have any free parking or comped parking available. Plus each time we needed to go to our vehicles we had to go through the hotel across the street to get to the garage. They also asked for any request, which i asked for a note saying happy birthday to my wife and even the lady who checked me in said they forgot. When you try to call the front desk you get some Ai lady and not a real person. We called and asked for new bedsheets and they never came. The fold out couch was dirty, and one of the queen beds HAD BLOOD STAINS hidden at the bottom of the sheet. Fridge had moldy water spots in the top glass, and one of the toilets was still dirty. The rooms had a musty armpit/marijuana smell. The hotel is next to some MASSIVE and LOUD generator of some sort. Don't even think about stepping out to the balcony or opening a window. This stay was extremely disappointing and we will not be back.

Hotel smelled funny… Pool was closed … Complimentary coffee machine was not working… had to wait for staff to get it, waited 10 minutes and no one came. Went to the coffee shop Caffeinas and it was closed Went to bar to get drinks a food, we were the only couple there , bartender acted as if we were bothering him , he was abrupt and lacked customer service. We left and went across the street to the Sheraton and had impeccable service.

The property is in a great location downtown. The hotel is nice but needs to be renovated. The decor looks about 20 years old. We paid 280 per night for the room but it was during the College Softball World Series so we weren’t surprised. I was surprised that the trash would be overflowing into the floor by the elevators , ice machine and all public areas. I left and came back hours later and it was still there. I needed to use the washer/dryer while I was there and they had one available that also looked 20 years old. The handle was even broken off the dryer door. You couldn’t use it. We asked the housekeeper on our 2nd day there for fresh towels and she said she was only allowed to give us two. I told her there were 4 people in the room and it was reserved for 4 people. Still said no, i was told I had to call the front desk if I needed more than two. Overall the hotel was decent but I would expect more out of a hotel if I was paying 280 per night. We did eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was fabulous. Great food and excellent staff.

When you walk into the lobby, it’s absolutely amazing. The open atrium soaring up 15 floors with the skylight overhead is breathtaking and creates a relaxing atmosphere right from the start. The sound of trickling water throughout the lobby adds to the calm and peaceful feeling.

You can tell this hotel was once built for the elite. While it has definitely aged over the years, the price has come down enough that it’s now affordable for average travelers like us, which makes it a unique experience without the luxury price tag.

The glass elevators were one of my favorite features. Riding up and down while overlooking the entire lobby and atrium was pretty impressive. If you’re afraid of heights, though, this might not be the hotel for you.

Our room was clean, but it did show its age. There were some stains on the carpet and lounge chair, and one of the elevators spent most of the day sounding like it was in desperate need of a little oil. At 6:00 AM, that became a bit annoying.

The biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed. I even checked the hotel’s website before booking and found no notice that it would be unavailable. The indoor pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel since the forecast called for rain. Thankfully, the weather cooperated enough that we were still able to enjoy nearby attractions in Bricktown, which is within easy walking distance.

Fire alarm battery was dead in our room so beeping when got there. Not enough towels when got there. (Not hotel fault) but people just slamming doors shut so noisy.

Can't blame the Hotel for the construction, they must be doing a tremendous job overcoming the shortcomings. Please let me give a shout out to some wonderful people at the Wyndham: JT saw to my truck with some outstanding Valet Service both arriving and departing, John Easly expeditiously saw to my bags getting to my room with only my nod, Kenya got ice for me when all he really needed to say was I could get it from the 10th floor (I was on 5), and maintenance Matt (?) took care of my TV. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is I'm waiting to find out how much cleaning the carpet will be due to my service dog having a sick stomach (Front desk personnel told me not to worry about it when I inquired what the 'normal' rate was for such clean ups). Otherwise a wonderful experience and if I'm ever in OKC again and need a place they will be on my call list.

The pool was under maintenance so we was redirected to a sister hotel a block over, no problem. When my 6 yr old and his mother arrived they was turned away. Mind you I already invest time, energy, and money to stay at this hotel. I went to the front desk not angry or looking to complain and cause problems but my kiddo was pretty bummed out and it was still advertised in the stay. I asked the gentlemen running the front desk if he was aware of the othe hotel turning people away nd if there was anything we could do about it since it was still advertised with the stay. The gentlemen instantly went to aggressive tone, no apology (btw that would of been cool, im a laid back guy) to \" well we can give you your money back and you can choose another hotel\" mind you that would of been alright by me after being talked in that manner. Money definitely wasnt or isn't a issue but thats how it kinda felt at that moment. I bit my tongue smiled and just went about my evening. Probably wont be going back to this establishment again.

They’re using ai as their front desk receptionist so when we requested things like more bath towels we didn’t get what we requested. We also requested for the bedding to be changed and they didn’t do that either- just left the sheets folded on the end of the bed and only one set we wanted both beds changed. I made a reserve now, pay at property reservation, HAD I NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION I would NOT have had a room!! They attempted to charge my card prior to my arrival and the front desk admitted that HAD I NOT CALLED they would have sold my room to someone else!! WHY WOULD THEY NOT CALL ME! I would have been stuck with NO room, EIGHT HOURS from home with 4 children. That in itself was terrible and the bartender was horribly rude when I asked for a beer/wine list as I was met with eye rolls every time I asked if a certain kind was available (there is ZERO organization to even SEE what offerings were available). The property was clean enough, but one elevator was broken and staff wasn’t clear with initial instructions on how to operate the one elevator to the left side properly. We also had a leak in our suite from under the sink or fridge resulting in massive stains on the carpet as well as a huge wet spot.

By no fault of their own….

We happened to be staying in town during game 7 of the OKC vs Spurs game, and this hotel is right across the street. There also happened to be a baseball tournament in town and some conferences too.

We went to the pool and it was overwhelmed with girls screaming, eating cake, chicken fighting on each others shoulders and all the adults sitting outside the pool and talking or on their phones. My small child (who is a new swimmer) wanted to get in, but it didnt feel safe to let her go in without us… so my husband and I had to navigate the chaos and sharp screaming with her.

Then from 1:30am to 2:30am our neighbors were yelling and had a room full of people talking over eachother etc. we had a sound machine and tried real hard to ignore it… but we needed up having to report them at 2:30p. The staff was really quick and we heard pounding on their door within minutes. It still took close to 30 minutes for them to disperse and stop slamming doors… but at least the sound machine drowned out most of that.

Also wasn’t expecting to have to pay 34 for ballet, but trying to navigate parking during all those events seemed suicidal… so we went with it.

This is the second time I have booked this hotel. The first time was great so we decided that every time we go to Oklahoma City we will book this same hotel. When we got there this last time we checked in just fine but when we got to our room the toilet wouldn’t flush which is fine we just put a order in to fix it but not 5 minutes later I touched the headboard and it fell off of the wall. They were quick to fix this so that’s a plus. We were excited to use the pool this time since it’s getting warmer outside..the pool was drained??? And the topping on the cake, they comped our breakfast for all the problems we encountered when we got there, we did have breakfast in the morning but they charged me for it anyway and when I called to let them know they said that they accidentally charged it to my room instead of the room on the ticket because they couldn’t read the writing and to call my bank if the refund wasn’t on my card by the end of the week, which it wasn’t and I still haven’t received the refund, so I paid for someone else’s breakfast. Needless to say, we will not be staying at the Wyndham Grand in Oklahoma City again.

Very dated room, wallpaper starting to peel. Parking was an issue. Free parking not near hotel. Valet parking offered. We used the valet parking and found the next day they had lost our car keys. Finally found, but 3 hours wasted. Valet parking manager was very apologetic and did all he could to help us. Use valet parking with caution. This is run by a 3rd Party business, but is still part of hotel. Very close to the Oklahoma City bombing site, within walking distance. Paycom arena across the street.

I did not find the staff very friendly. The breakfast was also super pricey for a hotel buffet so my kids and I didn’t stay to eat. Also when they charge things to your room, neither time was I told the exact price for what I was buying or given a receipt.

Definitely needs some updates. The room was a good size, with a little front room area and powder room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. The space was nice to have and the staff were great! But, the lack of TV channels, broken TV when we checked in that had to be replaced, lack of cold water in front bathroom sink that had to be fixed by maintenance during our stay, one coffee ground packet provided in the room that never gets refilled and you have to go make coffee down in the lobby, sticky carpet floors, one non working elevator, lack of enough towels, lack of conditioner in the bottle, lack of trash changes, pool closure for maintenance during a holiday weekend, only a paid valet parking option, peeling wallpaper, and overpriced breakfast buffet definitely have me reconsidering staying here in the future. While I understand the concept of \"going green\" and needing to request service the night before if yoh want fresh linens and towels the night before, I just feel like that shouldn't mean you don't come in to at least change the trash? To me, all this nickel and diming without providing any of the usual hotel amenities just seem like a way for the big bosses to add to their own pocket, but maybe I'm just a pessimist. But, when you're paying $200+ a night it seems like there could he a bit more care or amenities provided, no? I was once told, you can always tell when a place is going down hill by if they are able to fix the elevator and clearly this holds true here.

Very old and dated hotel that is not worth the price. Room was very dirty, there was hair in the tub, gunk on the toilet, stained walls, peeling wall paper. Outlets did not work. Only 1 working elevator and outside by valet there was so much trash it over overflowing and all over the ground.

The fitness center was limited in the number of weights and equipment, but other than that it the hotel is well located, the staff is very helpful, and the hotel is attractive. I would have liked to have had a pot for brewing tea or coffee in the bedroom. I enjoyed the breakfast, feed and the service.

This location is in walking distance from a Starbucks and the Lazy Donkey Mexican restaurant, the train station, Bricktown and the restaurants and stores around Bricktown. The Myriad Botanical Gardens are in walking distance and they're beautiful!

Staff attempted to help but was somewhat unsuccessful due to the degradation of property. Ice machine didn't work which normally would not be that bad as you could go to the next floor. But in this case the elevators would only allow you to your floor with your key access , and this was a standard not premium room. Room toilet as well as Lobby bathroom toilets more clogging and not easily cleared. Blackout curtains hardware was broken so room was somewhat light due to the sagging. Restaurant menu was somewhat Limited but adequate and the serving staff were absolutely fantastic! Seemed like some maintenance was being done to the property most of the time so don't know if that was by necessity or if it was making headway for improvement. Felt like necessity. Pricing was about expected for what the property should have delivered!

The property is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It ends there. First, when we called down to see what the hours were for the pool, the desk clerk advised my wife “the pool isn’t open. I told your husband this at check in”. This didn’t happen. I’m not really sure what even led him to say that. Second, there automated receptionist said there was room service. When we talked to the front desk advised that there wasn’t room service. They should change that automated message. Also, on this topic, it was VERY hard to get ahold of an actual person. Finally, there TV was very inconvenient. If you pressed the up arrow on the remote it would put the tv in a mode that would force you to turn off the tv and turn it back on. Additionally, the Netflix button on the remote should be removed. The desk clerk advised me that the internet service was currently under a repair process. Bottom line: this hotel didn’t supply what was being paid for and their rude desk clerk fell right in line with the vibe that my wife and I felt from this hotel.

Photos are from when this place was new. The fake plants are missing from all rails except by the elevators. The water was barely in the creek on main floor. Place is worn out and in need of complete rehab. Filthy carpet, patched up wall paper, leaky plumbing- could not figure where water was coming from. Mildew odor, fogged windows. Pool was not open and ice machine on 12th floor out of service. Building terrible, staff was good. Coffee not available in lobby at 5:30am, had to go to Sheraton across the street for a cup which they took pity on me and gave it to me free.
Location was walkable to: Bricktown, Myriad Garden, Scissor park, Skirvin restaurants and National Restaurant.

Valet staff especially JT went above and beyond. Beds were comfy and room was clean .
Walls thin and the design of the hotel with a 20 floor atrium makes for noisy nights .

staff rude AF, dont intend to use them again. AND they signed me up for wyndham rewards despite me repeatedly saying no! they got my information for the reserveratio and enrolled me anyways, despite my constant objection using my personal information! now i have to block the spam (3 already in 1 day). Should be illegal to sign someone up when they are saying no, no no. I did not stay the night! that should say what i need to say.

My husband and I travel quite a bit. We needed a hotel in OKC for one night so we chose this hotel because of the location and price. First, the front desk staff was very helpful...She even told me they \"upgraded\" us to a junior suite for free. When we entered our room the bedding was all on the chair and no sheets were in the bed so we contacted the AI bot front desk system they use to tell them and went out for an hour and came back and the bed was still not made. We then called to actually talk to a front desk human rep and they said they would send someone up. We then left for another hour and came back... nothing. My husband went to the front desk and talked to someone. She then got someone to get us sheets and bedding. When we woke up in the morning to shower there were no towels. I honestly think someone just forgot to finishing cleaning out room. We aren't too picky but those little things made it a less than desirable night at Wyndham. I would still give them another try if you're looking for something inexpensive and with a great location downtown. Basically- great prices , friendly staff, outdated quite a bit, great location.

Just like all the other reviews said, the hotel is outdated. Our room had a musty smell to it but it wasn’t unbearable. There was no blow dryer which is annoying. Just over all meh. The location is great though.

Lack of plug ins. Showers need updated. Shower kept getting locked on. The carpet didn't looked vacuumed. There were disgusting stains on the couch.. Very thankful the window cracked. Breakfast was very good, it was buffet style thst morning. The service at front desk was ok, but the lady at the Breakfast was amazing.. Valet was very nice, and knowledgeable of area. Lobby is gorgeous..

Couch extremely old and dirty. Carpets are very strained. Horrible condition. Get much better room in cheap hotels. Wyndham Grand is supposed to be the flagship of the brand. Will not stay again.
