We booked through Expedia we waited over 6 hours to get our room. Rooms still needed to be cleaned when we arrived, mind you check in was 3pm and we arrived on time. Because we went through Expedia we were not a priority. Eventually got our room about 830pm-9pm.

We were disappointed in the outdoor pool. Did not have a bar as it was advertised. You had to go inside and call someone on the phone and hope they showed up with your drink 🙄 The buffet food was about a five. The cafe was even worse. Cold food. I will say that the Italian restaurant was outstanding a 10 out of 10 highlight of the trip. I was also disappointed to hear that they charge a resort fee when checking in really! Slots are extremely tight. Stayed there 4 days. Just keep feeding the machine so won't let you play ☹️ The roof was nice but overall I scored the resort about a six or so. Too far to drive for me. I have other similar establishments which are half the drive.

Loved staying here we enjoyed the pool and the slot machines, my only concern were the two ladies working on Saturday 6,2026 at 3pm at the check in, they continued to skip me and my wife as we stood there standing waiting to be next, meanwhile they continued to take care of the “priority” line, even the guy standing in line behind us, asked if we were invisible, until I approached one of them and asked her when was I next, she responded that the other lady named Anna was going to help us next because they’re going 1person per line but that wasn’t happening, they continued to skip us, after that situation Anna proceeded to help us and started being really sarcastic when helping us and asking for our reservation details, not informative at all since it was our first time visiting, although it was a rough check in, I enjoyed my stay and really liked the security ID check before going up to the rooms, Definitely recommend!

The property was well maintained. The room was very clean. Check in was a joke. If there is a nyone in the priority line, every employee helps them 1st before they help the general line, no matter when they enter the priority line. The general line was huge, but they kept taking the priority line as people randomly got in that line. I left at 5am and 2 different security guards were sound to sleep at their post. Nice place, but they have an employee problem, or at least a management problem

The \"delux double\" room we had (and checked out 2 alternatives in same class) looked at a building/AC machines (ie no view of mountain). while advertised as smoke and vapor free resort the whole place reeks of cigarettes smoke from adjoining casino which, btw, you have to walk thru to get to the restaurants. Even if you want to avoid smoke by getting room service it is non existent except breakfast (but you still have to order in person from casino) and carry up to your room any ordered lunch or dinner items. While the spa was nice, if overpriced, we left a day early as couldn't stand the smoke. And weight room was out of service.

It’s one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. The property is clean and beautiful. The front desk staff could use a little better attitude. The room was very clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at Nohʔoʔ Cafe and the food and the staff were excellent. A must try if you are at the resort.

Super clean, great mexican music at the Firehouse, winning at the slot machines, got a tshirt for being my birthday month, buckets of water in the entrances. Super secure, loved the indoor/outdoor pool, especially the jacuzzi. Breakfast burritos were so good and cheap. Steakhouse food was the best. Will continue to come back.

Property is secured like Fort Knox with dress code and checkpoints at casino and room entrances. The room was a 2-queen premium but was appointed for only two so had to request additional shampoo/conditioner and towels from Housekeeping, which were delivered quickly. Casino reeked of smoke which permeated room spaces. Every guest must register when checking in. Breakfast was good.

The casino had quite a variety of games, with alot of the old games available, but be sure to bring a sweater, the AC is on high in the casino.

We shared appetizers a the Italian restaurant, and the minestrone soup was absolutely amazing, so was the polenta in marsala sauce.

The room had the nightlight for the floor on motion detector and it went off all night. I don't know if the censor was broken or if there was something crawling around making the light go on during the night.

Also, you can ask for early check in, but they don't tell you until you get there that it's an additional $10 for each hour, up to the allowed check in.

Booked a two-bed rm Room, a little on the small side, just enough to have some leg room. Bathroom layout is off, not much privacy, sink is separate from the main toilet and shower.
Shower tub is stained dirty looking. Room/floor is supposed to be non smoking but air coming from the vent is smoking smell. Other rooms on the same floor may smoke and you will smell it coming from the vents.

On a positive note; Utilized the Rewards center staff was very helpful.

The room was clean but the shower ( bathtub) was dangerous thing to step up into. It had poor water pressure so the shower did not come on all the way. Staff was okay but not helpful if you were not tipping them. We left a day early and the front desk said we need to talk with Expedia for a refund of those funds. But with how they are handling our car rental I don’t think we will get our money back. Feeling let down by the third party business companies. Disappointed for sure.

It’s a convenient place to stay with a lot of stimulation. The staff was a mixed bag and I understand that in this economy and state of America it’s a huge property that requires a lot of safety precautions, checks and balances and that was evident it’s a resort that you don’t feel special or number one obviously. The phone service was not very effective, especially when it comes to information on restaurants, reservations, and Ent of amenities.

If you get a room from Expedia / you get the lowest room at the hotel. We got stuck in the corner next to the air-conditioner unit that cooled the entire building, super loud and they said I could change ( after standing in line almost 45 minutes again) new room faced a wall / literally looked out the window into a wall.
You get the worst room all because we booked on hotels.com (Expedia). We left after one night / zero refund

This property should have a warning before booking. We expected a non-smoking property/room but what we got was a location where everywhere, I mean everywhere there was a strong smell of tobacco. If you have asthma or sensitivity to smells, you will be miserable like I was. I had throat hurt, headache, and felt bad the entire stay. The ad said that there would be sauna available, yes but for $50 price. The steakhouse restaurant wasn't great either. Room was spacious and relatively clean, staff was nice. Lastly, it was weird that you could not get anywhere without an ID.

Great experience for a quick get-away for the weekend. I do not recomend this property for anyone with a child, they no longer have a \"kid\" area. Room was clean, staff were kind and the food was good. Be prepared for the strong arroma of cigarettes on the casino floor. Only about 50 minutes south of Yosemite and 20 mins south of Bass Lake, this isnt a bad place to stop after some outdoor exploration.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Suite 1104. The room was great and well-appointed. The staff was nice and helpful, especially the clerk at the counter when we checked in.
The only problem was the couch in the living room. It leaned forward. It was a sleeper sofa, and I think the hardware under the cushions prevented it from sitting level when the bed was stowed. We called the front desk about it, and she said, “My report says it has been repaired.” We had already moved in and did not want to change rooms, so we let it go. But it needs to be fixed. Whenever someone reserves a suite or any other room at a “resort”, they expect that everything will be nice and comfortable. The room was great except for the couch that caused you to slide onto the floor.

I walked out of the Casino smelling like cigarettes. They need a better vent or something to clear out all that smoke. There was even cigarette smell in the hallways of non smoking rooms.. I didn’t like that I had to show my ID just be let up to my room, every single time I went up. Even my room key wasn’t enough to let me up, they had to have someone escort me up. Restaurants were good. Pool needs more maintenance because the water looked really dirty.

I liked the look of the property. We felt safe parking. Staff were all very professional and helpful. Csllin gave me a wonderful and relaxing Swedish spa at Serenity Spring. My two daughters and I called it our spa day st Serenity Springs, it included the sauna snd steam room which ee loved. The food was fresh and very good at the Buffet. Our room was clean with a good front view. I would definitely recommend ChuckChanci Gold Resort and Casino and the Spa to fiends and family.
We saw the pool from a distance it looked inviting. This was a great Ladies day weekend away from home.

Check in was horrible, we arrived at 2:35 p.m., we were advised there would be a 10.00 fee if we checked in early. We were only 25 minutes early. We were asked to return at 3:00 p.m. The line to check in was horribly long, only 2 people to check everyone in. Our room stunk of cigarette, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking.

Check in was completely unsatisfactory. The hotel was completely booked and they did not have rooms ready. We registered at 11:30 and should have been able to get our key at the 3:00 check in time. They said they would call when it was ready. We never got a call. Many other people were waiting around in the same situation. We finally got into our room at 7:00 pm. The room had a ventilation duct right in front of the window and a 15' high wall about 10' in front of the window.

With the exception of the noodle and steak restaurants the food quality is really poor; soggy fries, bad burgers, baked goods that look good but taste like cardboard, hot drinks room temperature, etc. And long lines at most food places plus over an hours wait just to check in. The room was nice and clean, and casino is fine but not great; overall they are under staffed and it was an underwhelming experience.

We did valet and that was fine. I booked for 4 adults, there were only 3 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, and 2 hand towels. After a night of gambling and smelling like smoke, i had to call down for more towels. There wasn't enough body wash or shampoo for 4 people. The bar of soap was horrible. The bathroom tub was not very clean, nor was the bathroom tile
On a positive note, the bed was very comfy.

Arrived for check in, told the room would be ready within an hour. Never received a call that the room was ready. Had to wait in line and was told the room was ready after 2 hours.
They tried to compensate with late check out at 2pm. We had breakfast and tried to come back through security to get our stuff and were told we were not listed for late checkout. Extremely inconsistent service. Won’t be returning. This was supposed to be a blast for my mother in laws bday.
