But I would definitely stay here again especially travel time to Yosemite is short and convenient right in the little town of Oakhurst.

Great place to stay if you just need a place that's clean, affordable, comfortable close to Yosemite . Breakfast was good with fresh hot sausage eggs toast, make your own waffles, cereals, juices, coffee yogurt. Beds and pillows were awesome. Good central location in town.

Breakfast area is EXTREMELY tight, the rooms are old and dingy. Both nights we stayed whoever was above us literally stomped back and forth from 11PM to 5AM. We nearly left at 11PM on the second night. I highly recommend spending more for Marriot or Holiday Inn right down the street.

The Breakfast was great. Manny choices to select from available. Eggs, sausage, muffins, cereal, oatmeal flavors, the waffle station was easy to use and stocked abundantly with the correct portion of batter to make the perfect waffle in 2+ minutes.
Fresh fruit, coffee, juices, milk, and condiments were all available. Ample seating inside and out. The room was quiet, comfortable, and ours had a nice view of the mountains. There were also Tesla charging stations available. The pool & Jacuzzi we're not available for use on our stay. But the court yard was manicured and refreshing.
We ordered Chinese from across the street and walked 3 minutes to the restaurant.
We only stayed one night but we're so happy to find this place and take advantage of the wonderful atmosphere.

This pricepoint of this hotel was fair for the area. The breakfast was very poor on the day we were here, egss and sausage were slimey and undercooked. The hottub was out of service also. Otherwise it was a comfortable room for a night.

This was a great value for the location, price and breakfast. We stayed a Saturday night - Valentine's Day. The price was very reasonable compared to other properties in the area. We loved the proximity to Yosemite and Badger Pass. There are restaurants nearby and a gas station next door. Overall, 4.5/5 for a pleasant overnight that didn't hurt our pocketbooks during a holiday weekend trip to Yosemite.

-Quality continental breakfast - yogurt, bagels, eggs, sausage links, self-made waffles, cereals, fruit
-Tesla chargers
-Quieter than typical in-room heating/cooling system
-Plenty of parking
-Comfortable beds and pillows
-Lots of towels in room
-Nice landscaping around property

-Shabby furniture
-Sink area sagging
-Low showerhead
-Water pressure not great

-Gaps in door letting in cold air

The room was chewed up by a dog all the furniture had bite marks when we arrived there was a man on drugs laying in front of one of the rooms saying he’s waiting for the person that has a key
We chose this place for the proximity to Yosemite the great price and it advertised a hot tub and the best breakfast in town
Well apparently all advertised amenities are seasonal and by that I mean only 3 months out of the year ??? even though it only says the POOL is seasonal it made the hot tub and breakfast a completely separate point in the list and when finalizing the booking it told me I have access to hot tub and pancakes in the morning
Well turns out you can’t access the hot tub and the breakfast is a a crumpled granola bar a bruised tiny apple a banana nut muffin (no mention to those that may be allergic that there’d be only nuts for breakfast) piss coffee and corn syrup cups that claimed to be concentrated oj but after wasting water to add to it it was still slimy in texture and had only a hint of oranges in taste. Oh and plain toast. Where we accessed the breakfast was a cramped dirty room with tons of pushy people and they had a towel over the waffle and pancake machines. Pancakes arent hard to make. All this would be better if it wasn’t clearly advertised as something entirely different I’m glad we were able to make due as we were there to only sleep but if we didn’t bring earphones we wouldn’t have since the other rooms were playing ball with their doglate at night.

Large room with basic amenities, including a microwave and fridge, which were very useful for our 2-night stay. Very close to some restaurants and grocery shops. Free breakfast is included, but we didn't take it as we always leave before 7 am. The room is clean and they provide bedroom cleaning if you stay more than one night.

This hotel is rated 8.2 on hotels.com so I incorrectly assumed it would be decent. Wrong. Driving up to it it looked uncared for and not updated. The rooms smelled a bit smokey. There was no bar of soap at the sink (you could ask the front desk for one though). Toilet paper was about as rough as I’ve ever seen. The water pressure was very poor, but somehow the drain couldn’t keep up with the trickle and the tub remained full of water long after the shower came to a close. The breakfast included microwaved “egg circles”, but no meat of any kind. The juice machine served very dilute offerings. At least the waffle machines worked well!
All in all a more realistic rating would have been 6-7. It was fairly inexpensive, and the price was probably fair for this more appropriate rating.

This property has great value for what we paid. It was probably the cheapest option during the holiday weekend while all the other properties were sold out. However, this property did not disappoint. It may not look good from the outside, but the room was comfortable and we got a good nights rest. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and the breakfast was free. We couldn't ask for anything more for the price we paid in such a popular location. I would recommend this property if you want a budget friendly stay while visiting Yosemite.

Went to Yosemite and decided to get a hotel close by last minute to take a shower and get some rest after a long day of hiking. Went with this one because of the reviews and man oh man was I disappointed. The guy who was checking me in was super nice showed me where to park but as soon as I got into my room there was an odd smell almost like the door or windows haven't been open in awhile. The shower had hair stuck/ coming out of the drain that could've been cleaned out, but I thought okay I can just wear rubber slides in the shower but as soon as I turned on the shower faucet random gunk started coming out with the water. That honestly made me really uncomfortable and rethink the shower. Random kids running up and down the stairs knocking on everyone's doors yelling up until midnight. I will say there breakfast is really good, everything was fresh probably the best out of all hotels and ins I stayed out. The staff was friendly, and for 1 night its not the worst but the cleanliness of the hotel would defiantly have me 2nd guessing before booking again.

I was very disappointed this visit as compared to the last time we stayed almost 2 years ago. I did not feel I we received a warm greeting which should be standard for any place and checking out was the same the next morning. Also was disappointed in having to sit at outside table at breakfast in the damp cold as their were only 3 or 4 small tables in the indoor breakfast area. Otherwise, it was a clean and comfortable place to sleep for the night on our trip.

Convenient, Comfortable Stay Before Exploring Yosemite

We stayed at the Oakhurst Inn on our way from Los Angeles to Yosemite and it turned out to be a great stopover before heading into the park the next morning. The location was convenient, easy to find, and made for a perfect place to rest and recharge after a long drive.

We booked a room with two queen beds, which was a comfortable fit for our family of five (our kids are 10, 4, and 2). The room was clean, tidy, and ready when we arrived. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free.

The property also had a nice outdoor pool area, which looked well-kept, though it was too chilly for us to swim since our stay was during the first week of October. Still, it was a nice touch that would be great for warmer months.

One thing we especially appreciated was the same-day booking availability. As travelers who don’t always have each stop planned ahead, being able to find a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price on short notice is a big plus.

Overall, the Oakhurst Inn provided a pleasant stay at a great value. We’d gladly stay here again on a future trip through the Yosemite area.

The breakfast area is small, so most seating is outside. The breakfast chairs are a mismatch of fabric and lawn chairs and the upholstered ones definitely need cleaning. The outside tables should be cleaned too. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the employees are friendly.
