We had a lovely stay at A Bed of Roses. A big snowstorm came through but we were cozy and enjoyed the premises when we were snowed in. Our room had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and the common area was nice too. When the roads cleared up we enjoyed going up to Yosemite.

The room is nice as last time, upgraded, and the manager is very helpful, although the tv didn't worked, becasue there was some problem with the Dish and noone came to fix it. The caretaker Lisa was super nice and friendly, unfortunately she couldn't help us with the tv issue as well.

We booked here for our little early Valentine’s getaway. We just wanted to get away from the city and just be by ourselves. It was great! The view was amazing and we got to watch the sunrise across the mountains right from our room. We didn’t plan on going to Yosemite so we didn’t need to have anything arrange for us. It’s quiet and very cozy feeling. Our room was perfect for our getaway. The heater worked great, the bathroom was spacious, and the beds were comfy. We didn’t stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on it. Definitely will book again! Highly recommend!

It's a good place—quiet, clean, and with friendly staff. However, breakfast usually didn't offer bread, and sleeping until late was impossible because of the light through the transom windows over the main door very early in the morning. We spent several days there; we will come back.

We booked this property for the room and breakfast. We followed their very strict rules and were down for breakfast at 8am. After waiting 20 minutes, we left and got breakfast elsewhere. So, if you are expecting breakfast at this bed and breakfast, we can tell you that it never arrived. I would not recommend. There are other great properties in Oakhurst.

I don’t know what the comments were talking about for the breakfast and etc but no one bother me the entire day or night just saw few people parking and going to their rooms and out and felt like a home to myself and the breakfast was good unfortunately I woke up late and it was still there just was out of time to grab a bite but next time I will !

Additionally, the service felt impersonal, and it seemed like the staff was not very attentive to guests’ needs. The overall atmosphere just didn’t have the warmth and charm we associate with a good bed and breakfast.
We had high hopes for our stay, but sadly, we left feeling disappointed. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for future guests.

Amazing Bed n Breakfast
The stay was perfect. We were visiting Yosemite and stayed there for 2 nights. The house was so warm, and we got to enjoy our breakfast with 2 other amazing couples - 1 from holland and 1 from France. Loved the overall vibe.

There was no one to greet us upon arrival. We had received a text telling us how to find and get in to the room. We entered the room to find a note on the AC saying sorry it is broken. It was a 90 degree day. We were told some one was coming to fix it and it would take an hour. We went to dinner and returned in an hour to find a hole in the wall, and hot room full of bugs, they had just finished taking out the AC.

She said the information would be in the email.I had not received any email from the hotel since booking, and that didn’t contain any information about check-in.In fact, I tried the day before to contact the hotel about our arrival, but had not received any response.Eventually the woman–who never identified herself–was able to verify that we did in fact have a booking, and showed us to the room.

Undoubtedly the best stay around Yosemite. It’s just 20mins drive to the South Gate entrance from the property. Amazing breakfast served which I loved it! The rooms are kept clean and the amenities are awesome. Only drawback is there is no one to answer your questions since there is no one at the property. But we managed somehow.
