If youre just looking for a place to sleep then this place will do. The TV did not work, neither did the remote. There was water mold on the shower curtain and stains on the towels. The wifi was poor and the breakfast was just coffee, toast and peanut butter and jelly. The orange juice and lemonade were both incredibly watered down. I wouldnt return for the price.

The commode was too low for adults, especially those with mobility problems, e.g., I use a cane and it is difficult to get up from that low position to standing. There were no grab bars to assist. Someone using a walker would have the same problem. The bathroom was too small for walker use. There were no accessible rooms available.

We stayed here three nights. In summary, you get what you pay for.

This is a very old hotel with old furniture and without elevators; so, if you have any physical limitations, make sure you stay in the first floor. The bed we had was very old and springs had a conversation all night, and had we not been tired from our outings, we would have had to listen to them. The towels were grubby and we avoided using them. (Thankfully, we brought our own). The pillows aspire to be pillows? We woke up with sore necks and had to take a hot shower to relieve the body aches. Did I mention the bathroom extractor fan made a medieval sound when one tried to turn it on?

Additionally, the AC is so noisy you have to negotiate between tolerating the temperature and sleep or be cool, and wide awake. If there’s inclement weather and your plans are averted, you’re stuck with basic cable via satellite with constant interruptions. The WiFi is also spotty and weak.

Okay. Having said all that: A positive I have to say, parking, while not covered, is readily accessible and available.

PS- Why did we stay here? Our original plans fell through and this sounded like a solid choice. Lesson learned.

The maintainence of this property is terrible. The outdated shower went wrong and cannot be closed. It took us 20 minutes before the lobby guy came and solved this problem and there was barely nobody for basic technical help!

I arrived after a long day in the park. Doorbell wemt odd when i walked in, rang the bell. Took over 20 min for anyone to come to the front desk. Was not offered any onfp of ice machine pr breakfast time. Was on the 3rd floor. Was told to drive around back and carry my luggage down a flight of stairs. Noisy neighbors upstairs, see light around the whole door which made for a very noisy morning, shower sink ice bucket toilet filthy. Cobwebs and thick layer od dust throughout. Will not be back but warn others choosing this hotel. If i wasnt so tired i would of just slept in my car or called and tried to book another hotel. Have pictures of all as proof.

My stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. There was a town-wide power outage, but the hotel staff never called to inform us, even though they knew about it in advance.

When we arrived, we were told the power wouldn't be back on until the next morning and that the hotel didn't have a backup generator. With no power, the hotel was not a viable place to stay, and the front desk staff told us we would not be charged if we chose to leave, which we did.

Despite this assurance, the hotel charged me for the night. I have since been trying to get a refund, but the hotel has made the process difficult. This lack of communication, combined with charging guests for a service they couldn't provide, is unacceptable.

I do not recommend this hotel and would advise anyone to book elsewhere.

This hotel needs an overhaul. Stayed on the 2nd floor. The interior steps going up were covered by old and dirty looking carpeting. The room was not updated. We did not feel comfortable with the dark bedcover which had stains on it. There was also a big stain on the undersheet which looked old. The breakfast was listed as continental. There was only bread, apples (or some type of fruit), Raisin Bran cereal and drinks. No pastries nor bagels etc. we ate next door for breakfast. There was also a peculiar smell and I am not sure if it was the air conditioner or the bed cover. We would not stay at this hotel again.

The property was very clean and was nice to stay in overall. The front desk people were very nice. I accidentally showed up about an hour before check in which was my fault. They checked me in without problem. I walked into the room when it was being cleaned still. Again, it was my fault I walked in before it was ready. The cleaner was a man who was very rude as soon as he saw me. I asked him if I could leave the bag in the room and he ignored me. I was polite and left the room and waited in the car for him to finish.

I cannot recommend this hotel. The property is poorly maintained, and the rooms are outdated and in need of significant upgrades. Cleanliness was below standard, and the lack of an elevator is a major inconvenience. Unfortunately, there are no handicap-accessible features, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility needs. Additionally, there is no air conditioning in the hallways or between floors, which makes moving around the hotel very uncomfortable. Overall, this hotel does not provide good value for the price.

I realize this property was cheaper than some, but I do expect the room to be clean. Hair in the shower and on the floor. Someone had left a swim suit in the bathroom floor that wasn’t removed by housekeeping. Makes we wonder how good it was cleaned. AC struggled to keep room cool during the day. Staff was super friendly.

The property is older and run down, mold in shower, sink was clogged and drsined reslly slow, tv would get service, the cooler temp gage didnt work we either froze when we turned it on or was hot bucsuse it shut off. Amenities were a little lack luster. The first day we got back to the hotel and discovered some things weren't working. The TV remote was dead so we couldn't turn the Direct TV on. The hairdryer also didn't work so I had to go to bed with wet hair. We tried to call again for towels but no answer. My boyfriend went down to the lobby and was told to try and find a house keeping cart. 8 flights of stairs back up to our room, as there weren't elevators, he was unsuccessful in finding housekeeping. so I called again and finally got to someone. I was also told to find a cart and had to argue to get a couple towels. The beds were really squeaky and every time one of us would roll over it would wake the other up. The breakfast I paid an extra $30 for on this website was warm orange juice, a slice of bread and a peanut butter cup. Having paid almost $300 per night, Id say it was overall disappointing.

🔹 Room was dirty and old
The room looked very old and had a strange smell. The bed was not clean, and the floor felt dirty. The bathroom sink and shower area had mold, and the towels were very dirty and yellow, like they had been used many times. It was disgusting.

🔹 Breakfast was terrible
They said breakfast was included, but it was only plain bread, small packets of jam and butter, and cereal. The milk was in a jug you had to pour yourself.
There were no bananas, no eggs, no sausage. Only a few bruised apples that looked old. Drinks were just instant coffee and hot chocolate. I thought maybe I missed something, but when I asked, the front desk said “this is breakfast.” I was shocked.

🔹 Bad service and attitude
In the morning, I saw the manager arguing loudly with guests. It seemed like a family of six was just asking about breakfast, but the manager kept saying “You cannot do that!” over and over, like 7 or 8 times. The guests even apologized, but the manager didn’t care. The attitude was very bad and unprofessional.

The price was not cheap, but everything was dirty, old, and uncomfortable. It looked clean online, but in real life, it was totally different.

Die Lage des Hotels war ruhig und gut, aber die Entfernung zum Yosimete NP south gate war mit 15 mi schon sehr weit. Dazu kommt noch der Weg zum Yosemite Valley mit ca. 35 mi und vielen Kurven. Der Park ist sehr stark frequentiert und in der Zeit zwischen Juni 15 und August 15 nur mit einer Reservierung von 6 am bis 2 pm erreichbar. Nach 2 pm ist die Einfahrt je nach Andrang mit einer Wartezeit von ca. 1 Std. möglich. (Eintritt 35 $ für 3 Tage) Mit längeren Staus muss gerechnet werden. Wir wussten nichts von der Reservierung und wurden mit u-turn um 11am abgewiesen. Der 2. Versuch glückte dann nach ca. 45 Minuten und kostenfrei, weil der 19. Juni ein US Feiertag war. Der 3. Versuch am Freitag 20. Juni, nach 2 pm endete dann nach ca. 2 Std ebenfalls mit einem u-turn, da ich nicht bereit war, für die restlichen 4 Std., dir 35 $ zu entrichten. An den wichtigen Fotopunkten sind die Parkplätze in dieser Zeit überfüllt. Ein sehr schöner Park, aber ich werde ihn in dieser Zeit nicht mehr anfahren.

Comfortable stay at Yosemite Sierra. For the area it’s reasonably priced which I appreciate. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The Continental breakfast is a little light as far as selections go but I usually don’t choose rooms based on that.
