The property have many problems , they cut the water for maintenance, so I have to take a shower early or don’t be possible after 4 pm , AC not working for 3 days terrible , location is really good but really bad maintenance . The staff is really good .
Look for better place if is important for you the AC AND THE WATER .

Not a 4*.... will never stay there again!!!

Awful reception staff (fat bearded guy) had bad manners and gave unsafe recommendations. Sent my partner walking to Puerto Madero....when it is widely known the suurounding area is unsafe. When I complained about it he almost shouted at me.... Anyway, big rooms but dated and super noisy (could barely sleep 3hrs! From 2 to 5am). Do not stay there unless you have no option.

Super comfy stay

What a perfectly comfortable kingsize bed! Exactly the right balance of firmness vs pliability/flexibility (for lack of a better word :). Crisp, clean sheets. We slept sooo well! We checked in late (past 1am) and the process was super quick and efficiently done, even though it was way past their usual check in hours. Breakfast was lovely, very nice spread. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Conte hotel. Another bonus: Checkout till 12pm! Thank you, to all the Conte.staff members, we love it here and will most definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but did take a long time to find a room for us.
The lobby was in great condition as was the breakfast room but the room we were given was old and worn out.
The toilet was loose and moved , the seat was disgusting. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling and all the grout in the tiles was mouldy.
The carpet in the bedroom and hallway of our level was threadbare and fraying.
The bed was comfortable and sheets clean but not so the pillow.
Location was fabulous and hopefully they will bring the rooms up to the standard of the lobby.

Whilst this medium size hotel might rate barely a 2-star back home in NZ, it is its location on 9 Julio Ave just 2 blocks from the Obelisk, its great breakfast and reasonable price for 3 people that make this hotel worth a stay.

This was the most awful hotel ever! We had to switch rooms twice because the first room was horrible with very nasty carpets, the second room was less horrible looking but the toilet broke and started to flood the bathroom plus the internet was not working. When we finally settled in the third room, the safe broke and we were unsafe leaving our laptop and passports. The staff couldn’t care less about the clients, and the hotel hasn’t seen maintenance in a long time. Not to mention that the breakfast was horrendous: canned fruit, stale croisssants, and watery yogurt. An all around HORRIBLE hotel!

To future guests: avoid buying tourist packages from the front desk hotel staff members. They resell them overpricing more than 40% of real cost. For example, they sold me a citytour package for 750 pesos but the real cost was only 500 pesos. I realized about this situation during the tour itself when the guide began asking for payment to the people that did not buy in advance.

Nice location

Hotel weekend staff spoke no English, Our room had no ac luckily we were on the 15th floor so there was a cool breeze from the window which we kept open the entire stay. There is no ice machine in the entire hotel , no facial tissue, no iron/iron board , I had to pay to have my dress ironed. We were given a password for the WiFi which never worked so we had to go to the lobby when ever we needed internet connection. The free breakfast was not very appetizing, no variety the same items on the menu everyday. The bet thing about this hotel is the location.

Not what you would expect

Hotel didnt have air conditioning on because supposidely it would be cold outside, but i couldnt sleep well and the staff said to open the windows to get ventilation but then mosquitoes came in the room. Breakfast wasnt very good, some fruits would be too ripe. Front desk employees where very nice but buffet employee was rude, but thats normal in argentinians. The good thing is hotel is right at the center of everything.

The hotel is very nice, we had a clean room with a king bed and a twin bed. We did have issues with WiFi , even though it was offered in every room, the only place that had a strong enough connection was the lobby. I wish the Hotel had more easily accessible outlets. The elevators are very ,very small so it may be problem for people with claustrophobia, The hotel offers an excellent breakfast (included) and the location is also excellent. Great value.

Near subways and several good Restuarants.
Location was just OK, busy streets, construction, ect. And it is a office building area, so limited nearby tourist attractions.

Solid hotel

Used Buenos Aires as a jumping off point for many trips in Argentina. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with a lost wallet and book in other taxis and hotels. They even made recommendations that saves us lots of money! We woyld recommend to a friend or business associate. Bar isnt that great and isnt really a social gathering type of hotel like others are. Overall good for a quiet stay.

What we would expect of a three star hotel, except that we were of the 12th floor and wi fi was not able to service that level. I had to visit the lobby to get consistent connection, and when I left the tablet connected as I returned to the twelfth floor the connection broke about the 8th or 9th floor. The problem was reported to Reception but no improvement was made during the three nights we were there.

Hotel is on the main street and close to all attractions. Florida street and main square is walking distance. There is a large Supermarket (Carrefour) only one block away. Breakfast is excellent and all the staff are very helpful.

Great location facing the 9th of July Ave. Easy walk (2 blocks) to the Plaza of the Republic (The Obelisk). Another easy walk to the Casa Rosado (6-7 blocks). Please note this is a busy city and there will be traffic noise in the hotel rooms that face the Avenue especially the lower level rooms. Our room was spacious, well equiped, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked about nearby dining possibilities and other activities. Usually one of the desk staff spoke English which helped with our limited Spanish. Overall, a good choice to stay at this hotel. Just be aware of the traffic noises.

Hotel Conte - Lots of room, not so many dishes

Good, central location - you can easily walk to Florida shopping, Plaza de Mayo and even the nice restaurant area of Puerto Madero by the water - though we usually took a taxi back - less than £4. Very nice rooms, clean, comfortable and spacious. Bit of street noise, even on the 13th floor. Good but not great breakfast - limited hot food but good selection of fruit and tarts. They regularly ran out of crockery so you had to sit and wait for the dishwasher to finish. Reception staff very professional and helpful, breakfast staff not so helpful.

The Hotel Conte is in a central location

The hotel was clean and centrally located. The reception staff were very helpful. Our room safe was old fashioned in the sense that it had a retractable lock which often got stuck but reception were always happy to release it. The air con appeared to be centrally controlled and not in the room. When we stayed it was not needed.

This is my third visit and I will keep going back.
I really wanted to stay near the airport because I had a midnight arrival and 9am departure but there are no hotels near EZE airport (take the hint someone and build one). If I can't stay near the airport, then this is my regualr choice in Buenos Aries.

Best for the First Time Tourists in Buenos Aires

This hotel had a very nice location and had extravagant service. The hotel room view was amazing. This location was very convenient for interests such as shopping and dining. All places were at a walking distance. And the Florida street was only four blocks away and the hotel had a very safe location. The nearby community was a great place with easy access to needs.

I was recommended this hotel by a business colleague. Selected for convenience to his office. It turned out to be an excellent hotel for location (for central Bs As) quality, service and price.
The hotel is a little worn but you would have to be very very fussy to object. The breakfast was standard South American - healthy, tasty and beautifully presented.
Staff were fluent in English but didn't laugh as I persisted in trying to practice my Spanish.
Good internet connection.

The hotel was well located on the busiest street in town. (20 lanes!) Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We had a king bed and a sitting area. They have free Wi-Fi. Get the access code from the desk. The prime shopping area along with some of the major points of interest are just a short walk away. 10 or 15 easy minutes to most of them. Be sure to guard your valuables while walking. Specially in a crowd. Their breakfast was better than most. In all, it was a great experience.

Excellent location for the price.

The hotel is located at a great location. It is within walking distance to all the great sites for the Distrito Federal. Others should remember that Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan noisy city. They like to use the car horn like in Miami. I do not mind at all. This is a good place if you enjoy hustle and bustle, like I do, of city life.

Last minute hotel choice

The hotel is located in a busy business district on a busy street so is understandably noisier than I would have liked but this was a very last minute booking (when we arrived that morning). The only room available had 2 twin beds. We decided to find a different hotel in nicer part of town for the rest of our trip. There are far better hotels within a 1 mile radius than this one.

Great location

We stayed 2 nights after a Cape Horn cruise. The Conte is a very nice hotel close to the Obelisk. Staff was very helpful with information about transportation and tours. Good breakfast buffet in a pretty room overlooking 9 de Julio. Dinner at their restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

Me hospedo no Conte há uns 15 anos.
Recomendo a todos os meus amigos sempre. Porém, dessa vez, tive uma série de problemas, que me vejo na obrigação de dar um feedback e na certeza da compreensão e consequente retorno do hotel com toda possível compensação que me cabe!
Cheguei dia 28/12, animada para passar Réveillon. Ficaria até 3/1. Me colocaram em um quarto com ar condicionado quebrado.
Pedi manutenção. O suporte veio no dia seguinte e não resolveu. A cidade estava a 40 graus de temperatura. Pedi para mudar de quarto, me mudaram para um de fundos, sem frigobar, com o ar condicionado apresentando o mesmo defeito. O quarto parecia uma estufa de tão quente.
Dia 30 teve um apagão na cidade, que entendo não ser obviamente culpa do hotel, mas sua equipe muito mal educada (com raras exceções) não fez absolutamente nenhum esforço para minimizar os impactos.
Passamos a noite em claro e assim que amanheceu (dia 31), fomos embora para outro hotel, que passou pelos mesmos problemas na cidade, pois ficava em frente. Porem estava totalmente preparado para receber os hóspedes.
Repito: sei que parte da situação não foi culpa do Conte. Porém, nem minha!!!
E por todos os motivos apresentados solicito ressarcimento de parte do valor pago.
Referente às 3 últimas diárias não usadas
Por motivos alheios à minha vontade.

Certamente necessita de manutenção básica. O desperdício de água é irritante. Vaso sanitário, bidê, torneira da pia, torneira da banheira vazavam ininterruptamente. Quarto com ar condicionado sem eficiência em pleno verão. Telefone (interfone) do quarto estava quebrado e disseram que em outros quartos também estravam. Quarto sem frigobar, ou seja, quente e sem condição de ter uma água gelada para tomar. Enfim, somente os quesitos limpeza, localização e café da manhã estavam adequados. Custo benefício, em termos de entrega do serviço, não compensa.

Assim que fizemos o check-in (15h) descobrimos que o hotel estava sem água e a equipe da manutenção estava atuando para consertar. Porém foi uma situação bem incômoda, pois gostaríamos de chegar, tomar banho e tirar aquela “sujeira” de trajeto de viagens. Problema foi resolvido a noite (19h).
O que valeu toda esse incomodo foi a vista do quarto! Ao abrir a janela é possível ver o Obelisco e apreciar o amanhã e anoitecer!!!
No mais, o café da manhã estava bom.

A localização do hotel é incrível! Perto de várias atrações, em uma avenida movimentada e de fácil acesso.
Quarto grande, cama OK, não tem frigobar, no banheiro é banheira, sem box. As toalhas estavam manchadas, pedimos para trocar algumas vezes.
O café da manhã é continental, com 3 tipos de frutas, croissant, pães, ovos, queijo e presunto.
À vista é bem agradável.

Hotel dentro da expectativa, muito bem localizado, café da manhã ok, porém com poucas variedades, mas nada que vá fazer muita diferença. Não tem ar condicionado, somente aquecedor, mas também não fez falta, se quiser usufruir da banheira do banheiro como banheira mesmo, precisa pedir o “ tampão “ a camareira arruma bem rapidinho. Banheiro não tem blindex ou cortina, o único ponte ruim, pois a água é forte e acaba molhando o banheiro. De resto, voltaria.

Ótimo custo benefício. Valeu, o quarto era espaçoso, praticamente um kitnet com quarto, banheiro, sala, vista para 2 pontos turístico. Hotel antigo, que deu um charme rustico ao quarto. Eu vi comentários falando mal, mas noss experiência goi bem diferente, não tinha coisa velha, tinha antigo, mas tudo bem limpo e organizado.

Café da manhã com pão murcho e copos de vidro imundos, peguei um copo descartável sujo e com cabelo grudado, todos estavam sujos. Hotel velho e com manutenção precária. TV não funcionou direito pq cabo de antena tinha remendos com fita isolante. Cama com pillow top duro , parecia concreto!

Es un hotel muy bien localizado, a 2 cuadras del obelisco, se encuentra en condiciones convenientes, el personal cumple su función y es amable,no tuve inconvenientes en la estancia.

Localização e café nota 10

Li vários comentários ruins sobre o hotel e confesso que fiquei com receio de reservar. O hotel possui sim instalações antigas nos quartos, mas tudo estava funcionando certinho, mesmo sendo antigo. A localização é fantástica e o café da manhã também é excelente, diversificado, gostoso, com reposições constantes. Sinceramente não entendi as reclamações ruins sobre o café. Reservamos 3 diárias e não me arrependo. A limpeza nos quartos era feita diariamente. E eu voltaria a me hospedar nele, sem problemas, se fosse o caso.
