Clean, comfortable bed and linens, cold A/C at a reasonable price. That's about all.

The Motel 6 was obviously a mid-range convention center, once upon a time - the sort of place the Lions Club would have its dinner meetings. This was maybe two or three iterations ago. Now, the grounds are grubby. The pool is empty. Dead cars in the parking lot. You get the idea.

To add insult to injury, there's no breakfast at all - inexcusable at this price. The coffee ran out, and the morning desk clerk didn't know how to make it - she called her boss and they didn't give instructions, merely saying that they would come by later.

No, we will not be back. Continue into Idaho Falls, please!

The staff were kind and helpful. No complaints there. Facilities were pretty bad. Key card didn’t work on entrance by room/car for unloading. The rolling cart fell apart and was pretty unusable The worst thing however was my toilet didn’t flush, was overflowing and couldn’t be fixed on the morning of my departure as I was trying to pack and go. (Stayed one night) So couldn’t shower, had to use the lobby bathroom, had to be admitted by front desk, no soap in the restroom.

Management offered to move me to another room, not feasible as I was on a time limit with 2 dogs. They should have offered to comp my stay and I’ll be filing a complaint with Motel 6. But again the people were very kind and lovely.

The lady at the front desk was kind and helpful, and check-in was easy. The bed was comfortable and clean. The place is run down and the pool is empty, but it was all relatively clean. When I got to the room, all seemed fine until I turned on the lights and saw the smeared greasy handprint on the mirror outside the bathroom. There were also reddish-brown fingerprints on the back side of the bathroom door. The shower wouldn’t turn on. When I called the front desk to ask about it, she told me how it turns on and I assured her it wouldn’t turn on. She came down herself to help me out. She literally had to brace her hand against the wall to pull hard enough to get it to turn on. It’s fine, I just freshened up using the sink. The toilet didn’t flush well, so it also clogged. I got what I paid for.

When we arrived, check in reception was obviously annoyed. When we arrived in our room we noticed several things, the toilet paper holder was broken so it was set on the counter. The bed had stains on the sheets, luckily, we brought our own bedding. There were very few outlets, there were also very smelly garbage cans by the entrance that were not addressed during our entire trip. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that my husband needed to use an iron and there wasn't one in the room (okay?) when we called down to the front desk, we were told that aren't allowed to have an iron because it uses too much power if we use it, it will blow the breaker. Which seems absolutely wild. I've never been to a hotel and denied using an iron, if they didn't have on available that would have been understandable. Overall unhappy and disappointed. Would not recommend this motel!

I have stayed here before! But this time I actually considered asking to switch rooms! It was really dirty! I’m pretty sure nobody cleaned it! Especially since we found somebody else’s prescription medication laying on the floor! There were bugs, crawling all over in the bathroom! So I’m pretty sure they were everywhere, that was just the easiest place to see them! Staff at check-in was nice! But that’s really the only positive about the whole experience! I feel like maybe the upstairs rooms are way better! Or maybe it’s just gone downhill idk!

The gal at the front desk was lovely and bubbly! The room on the otherhand, not so much. Stains on the sheets and towels. Very low lighting in the room, had to use a flashlight to look through our luggage and read my book. The sink was held together by tons of caulking. The rooms definitely need some TLC.

The front desk agent who checked us in was pleasant, but the overall experience was disappointing. Managers hovered around, the floors were dirty, and there were mouse traps in the hallway. When we went to look at the pool, a staff member there was very rude to us. She said the pool has always been closed. For the price, we expected much better. The lobby coffee station was not maintained, and our room had a sliding door that was permanently locked, with no ventilation.
The tub/shower controls were nearly impossible to use, the pillows were dirty and smelled, the curtains had holes in them, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. Given all of this, we will definitely not be staying here again.

The carpet was dirty in the entire hotel and never vacuumed. The beds linens were never washed. The bathtub was filthy stains and dirty. Calling in the bathroom rusty and vanity had broken wood so you had to make sure not to brush up against it. I only saw a staff member when I took dirty towels to exchange for clean ones. Light in bathroom messed up. I will never stay here again. This was a two week stay and my husband did not want to try to change hotels or rooms because he was undergoing cancer treatments and just wanted to rest when we got back to the hotel.

We were in need of a place to sleep for one night on a road trip with our dog, and I booked this Motel 6 thinking it would be bares bones, basic - but it was worse than I could have expected. Smelly, dark, ripped box spring, with a layer of hair along the baseboard, and the bathroom looked like something from a horror movie, with a door that didn't close either. It's a very old building that hasn't been updated much and shows. We wouldn't have felt safe or comfortable staying. On the flip side, the young man at the front desk was very nice and easy to talk to.

I requested an additional pillow because I have back issues and need to sleep with a pillow between my knees. The staff member at the desk would not give me an extra pillow. They said each room had “the correct number of pillows already.”

Also, my credit card has a charge on it for something I did not buy on the dates I was in Pocatello. I have reason to believe someone on the staff there used my credit card for their own purposes.

Probably the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in, urine all over the toilet, feces on the wall, the floor looks like it’s never been vacuumed, sheets and pillow cases were filthy and the shower did not work at all. If it wasn’t so late and we weren’t so tired we would have left.

There was mold in the shower and bugs in the bed. There were bugs crawling in from the B side door and it never locked. You could literally just walk in.
There was several strange people in the back parking lot that lived in their car.
The staff was nice and funny and I felt bad for them working there. There was no towels or anything in the room when I got there I had to ask for towels to shower.

It was a nice motel. The staff I saw were friendly. The room was clean. I think the only things that could have made the stay better would be working electric sockets the bed side lamps. I could not find wall sockets that were not being used except one behind a dresser. I also would have enjoyed a mini fridge in the room. It fit my price range and did the job for the night I stayed.

On the way to the room we saw mousetraps in the hallway and dirt/food crumbs on the stairs.
The room had never been updated. Furniture was scratched. Chair was stained.
A/C didn't work. Bathroom counter was dirty. Sink was cracked. Toilet bowl was stained. Pet hair was on the carpet.
No trashcan in the bathroom.
Way too much money for the condition of the place. Be warned that only the Studio side has been updated.

This hotel was the worst hotel I have been in a very long time. Everything was barely working and outdated to the max. We had thin pillows that were a hint of yellow. Paper thin blanket. Everything was so outdated and the decent channels you got were always saying no service. Everything felt like it was hanging on from a thread. The beds were terrible.

The room was dirty, trim falling off the wall, looked like a mouse had run across our bed when we walked in from mice poop on the bedspread. We ran out of toilet paper because there was barely any there to begin with and there werent any extra rolls, no tissues in the tissue holder, and the floor looked as though it hadnt been vaccummed in a long time.

There was no bed cover for the bed, no microwave, no fridge, no coffee machine or coffee. The shower was icy cold and wouldn’t warm up. Someone left rocks in the entry door to prop it one time which is a security hazard. The front desk workers were great and the room was clean. But no amenities and a cold shower wasn’t pleasant.

The motel owners are exceptionally nice. The room was well appointed. I can't think of anything negative to say. Plenty of space to walk our dog. Decent neighborhood. Family run motel. Was 1 of our nicest stays on a very long journey. I wish to thank Ahmed for his extra considerations. He is a good host.
