We stayed at Hotel Royal Classic Osaka for almost a week and the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations.
The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to transportation, shopping, and dining. The metro is directly connected to the hotel, which made getting around the city very simple.
We took a day trip to Kyoto which took about 2 hours from the hotel.
The hotel is close to everything, and the amenities were excellent. The staff truly provided us with five-star service—everyone was kind, respectful, and very welcoming. They even gave us a thoughtful departing gift since we stayed for several day!
I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again when we visit next year.

The hotel from top to bottom is amazing. It is spotless and most importantly, filled to the brim with the most courteous and welcoming people I’ve met along my 3-week stay. The hotel itself is very modern and minimalist and my room on the 19th floor was quite spacious. Incredible that everything in the minibar was free (not sure if that is because of the type of room I booked or not) and my views of Osaka from the room were incredible. Thank you to everyone from check-in to check-out and everywhere in between. It is also very helpful there is a DIRECT entry to Namba station on the bottom floor. Tip: when returning it is easy to get turned around so just look for exit 12- this leads you right to the entry for the hotel. Also convenient is there is a Family Mart on the first floor. I never ate breakfast during my stay but I’m certain it is also fabulous. The location of this hotel is great. Again, near train stations, so many fantastic restaurants and lots of shopping! This made it easy to come back and drop off purchases and head right back out! Thank you for the incredible parting gift. I know exactly where I will stay again when I come back to Osaka. Btw Osaka was my favorite of the 4 cities I stayed in. Better than Tokyo in my opinion by leaps and bounds!

Our room was very clean and they provide things that we would need for stay above and beyond comparing to other hotels in Japan. Beds and sheets are nice and the water pressure was fantastic. Everything was in walking distance! We park the car using the left side of building for 2500 yen for 24 hours. Walked up to level 11 to check in. Paid for parking and 1000 yen at the time of check in. Started on level 17. Room was clean with coffee, tea, robes, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brushes and face washes. Towels were clean. The bathroom had a nice tub with a shower with dual heads on top and hand held. Mates was perfect! Access to lights through a smart pad. Tv was decent size (standard room) king size bed took up most of the room. Vanity area had mirror with lights and regular mirror for close up. They had extra usb wires for borrowing inside the cabinet as well. You have to keep a card inside the slot in order for things to work including the awesome bidet toilet. Window does NOT open and became stuffy when I took a warm
Bath/shower. AC was locked at 20c and doesn’t allow to be any cooler (68f). Can get warm and not comfy for folks who likes it on the cooler side. Breakfast was ok with different food for 4500 yen per person. If we stay here again we may upgrade to premium or suite to see how it is for another great review. 4.5/5 rating for me. Oh staffs speaks English and wonderful.

My husband needed medical attention while we were there and she patiently helped us locate an English speaking clinic nearby. Beautiful, high-tech rooms with all the amenities (my room came with a Dyson air wrap as a fun little perk!), walkable to everything, with the subway in the basement of the hotel plus across from the station where the airport rapid train lets out. I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter in a Standard Sofa Twin Room. Very spacious and clean. All amenities are kept in wonderful condition. The shower is one of the highlight, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are from mikimoto, very high quality.
The bed is soft but not too soft. I slept soo well!
The best part is the service. All the staff that I encountered are courteous and helpful.
Location is also unbeatable. Right across the Namba station. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

A new hotel designed by the famous architect Kengo Kuma. I like the design very much. I had an issue with my first room. The staff reacted swiftly and changed our room. What’s worth mentioning is the great location. It is right on exit 12 of the 御堂筋線 metro station, from which you can reach other tourist attractions easily. The Namba area is super energetic and great for entertainment and shopping. Can’t recommend it enough to others!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. The check-in was smooth. Dotonbori is just a couple of blocks away which made shopping and dining very easy. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Overall, the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Overall it is a decent hotel. However, there are some issues. The AC constantly turns itself up (hotter) so rooms are not at the desired temperature when you return. The staff was ok, but somewhat dismissive. The buffet was not great, maybe 5 out of 10. and ended too early. At 10:00 a.m. they tell you it's last call, then they start putting away all the food and demand that you leave by 10:30. There is not enough lighting in the hallway and it is all motion detection. You can never leave the light on over the coffee machine or the refrigerator and it is very difficult to read some of the small instructions. For the money, I think there are some much better options.
