I felt comfortable when I was staying with this hotel, and I believe it was pretty satisfied my expectation.
Specially, I met warm and friendly customer services when check-in and check-out , and every time walking-by, plus when I asked for extra information and assistance such as asking for a hot water kittle.

The hotel is in a red light district. I are a booking past midnight - but the hotel refused to let me check in until the next day PM. So I didn’t get to stay in this hotel, but charged full price. Dodgy hotel, best avoided.

Hotel was good for what we needed, room was fine and clean. Check in and out was easy.
It's located in a bit of a lively area (there is a bar directly opposite that is open all night for example), so we did have to keep the window closed to shut out the noise. Also the main Langstrasse is a bit salubrious, although we didn't feel unsafe. Although the hotels location is a convenient walking distance from the train station + main parts of the city and the Coop supermarket across the road was handy.

At the Zurich airport, I noticed that I had accidentally dropped my wallet in the room I had stayed at this hotel, but I did not have time to get back to the hotel for return flights. Therefore, I mostly gave it up. However, the hotel staff kindly sent it back to my place in Japan through international mail at a later date. I sincerely appreciate not only their hospitality but also their kindness!!

Hitel room Senior suite was beautiful, great bath tub and shower, 2 toilet rooms, living room.
Fold out couch for third person.
Pool Ok but is at least 6 ft at lowest ( im only 5 ft 10 in).

Staff were welcoming and a convenient spot close to Zurich HB station within walking distance. There is a cooler rather than AC but it did the job despite the hot weather. The fridge isn’t that cold which isn’t ideal but fine if you’re patient for drinks to get cold. The area isn’t too bad either. Not too fancy but not run down either per se. Overall it’s great value given the location and not much to complain about. Thanks to the staff for taking care of me.

Our room was just ok. It was very noisy outside at night so had to shut the window, mobile air conditioning unit far too loud to have on at night so our 4th floor room was baking hot as we slept! The room and bathroom size was tiny and the shower drain smelt awful. No kettle to make a cup of tea. Bed was comfy though and staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Front desk manager very helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were good. Towels are smaller and not new but did the job fine. Great showered pressure and water temp. Easy walking to/from. Only complaint was the \"fragrance\" used in the hallways. Very sweet and overwhelming.

This hotel has no air conditioning and therefore the rooms are very hot. They have fans available at the front desk but you are told to open the window. The problem is there is a lot of noise from the bar next door and screaming in the streets until 5 am. The breakfast is adequate only and if i were to come back, I would get my breakfast somewhere else.

The Trip Inn is in the red light area. In the evening you can see the prostitutes standing on the road negotiating with customers. The area is entirely safe but the environment can seem shady.

The hotel room did not have a lock for the bathroom. We were told a kid had locked himself in earlier and they had to break the lock. The fact that they thought it is alright to rent their room to a new customer without putting a new lock speaks volumes about customer satisfaction being a priority. There were single beds in my room and frankly not comfortable.

The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. I rate them at 5 stars. No fault there.

Overall if you want a cheap place to drop in and are on your own then it is a fine place. However if you want a comfortable place with better ambience and environment, then check out other options.

A basic and good value clean and comfortable hotel

We had two nights in Zurich staying at the Trip Inn. It was just 15 minutes walk from the main railway station in a cheaper part of the city but was absolutely fine. The room was big enough for 3 people with a decent bathroom and was clean and comfortable. It didn’t include tea/coffee facilities but Starbucks was only a 10 minutes walk. Check in/out was straightforward and staff very polite. WiFi worked well. We would happily stay there again.

This was the seventeenth hotel in which I stayed in Europe in a month, anbd the first and only not to have a coffee maker in the room. instead, they wanted me to get dressed, go to the lobby, and pay 4 Swiss Francs to use the coffee machine in the lobby. There was only one drinking glass in the room, and even when I asked for another. I didn't get it. The hand soap deispenser was empty when I arrived, and it was empty when I left, even though I asked the maid to refill it. Management here is just plain clueless, because they spent the money to do a decent renovation on the hotel, and then ruined it by not paying attention to the small details that make all the difference. Finally, the hotel is in the red light district, and I could not walk through the area at night withour be propositioned by prostitutes.

We rented 2 rooms for 5 people. Was suppose to be a 2 person room and we got two 3 person rooms which were very cramped. 2nd room was not available at 3 for check in due to staffing issues and a holiday? Moldy smell in shower. Took stairs because elevator was slow. Staircases were dirty. Staff was not friendly or helpful when asked for eating recommendations. No one slept for 3 nites due to the noise on the street below our windows. There was an adult store and sleezie bar. Noisy drunks and prostitutes. We would never rent anything in that area of town again. Place was non refundable so we were stuck there.

Very loud music playing nearby until 6:30am! I did not sleep a wink and my room was shaking.
I also had a leak coming into my room, I went down to report it in the middle of the night and the reception staff just gave me some towels to put on the leak.
The worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel!
The hotel have offered me a free one night stay- there is no way I will be staying in this hotel again!

No care was taken to prepare thr room; glasses looked dirty, all walls & doors had stuff, and marks on them, zero amenities provides, shower door did not seal and had green algae, light beside my bed flickered, so I couldn't read...All little stuff, but I didnt enjoy the room. Chose this hotel as its on the cheaper side for Zurich prices.

Despite being next to Langstrasse I never heard a thing from outside but the air conditioning unit in the room every hour or so would make a series of really loud noises that was bothersome throughout the night.

This is in a good location. Bus and trams are very close. The front desk people were very helpful with directions. The air conditioning did not work, and there was a small fan in the room. The area is lively with locals. If there was a redlight district in Zurich, it was on this block. I felt safe, just surprised to see the workers at 8:00 am, hustling.

Is it a small room but it is normal in Europe. The hotel is a very basic hotel, nothing fancy. There is no microwave, no utensils, no cups, no tea/ coffee in the room. I need to ask the staff for a cup but the staffs are very nice and helpful. They let me check in early without extra charge.

The hotel is in the “red light” district as such, but this was no issue for us at all. There are a number of nice and reasonably priced (for Zürich) eateries nearby, particularly Asian cuisine. It is close to the train station and close to the city centre, easily walkable.

The staff on reception were always lovely and the hotel room was simple but nice, if a bit warm. My only issue is that the beds aren’t the most comfortable, but not so bad that it can’t be put up with for a few days.

The walk to the hotel wasn’t bad from the train station. Even though it is in the cities red lights district, I still didn’t feel unsafe or anything walking around there. The room itself was really tiny. The air condition didn’t really do anything and if you open the window, then you’ll have to listen to all the bar noise in the area. One of the pillows had a stain that looked a lot like love juices. And one of the blankets had a red spot stain that looked a lot like a drop of blood. After we told the staff, they cleaned the room and we didn’t have issues the next night we were there. I wouldn’t stay there again.

A 10 minute walk from Zurich HB station, clean and functional and in what’s known as Zurich’s “play area” - lots of nearby bars and nightlife. This means noise risk on Friday and Saturday nights - we stayed on a Sunday night, so the bars were relatively quiet. The breakfast was excellent and good VFM at CHF16.

My son (15) and I had a great overnight stay here. Very reasonably priced, neat and tidy room, very comfortable bed and convenient location. We read the reviews before we came, some of which we found very amusing) and didn't experience any of the problems some listed. Yes it's in the red light district but we felt completely safe, didn't have issues with smoke etc. Easy walk to station and old part of town. Decent sized Coop across the road for picnic meals. Celia restaurant nearby did amazing pasta (pizza looked good too) and provided a 1/2 serve on request which was much appreciated. Recommended!

Overall: I've stayed here before and I'll stay here again. It's cheap, comfortable, in a great location near my favorite coffee shops, and a quick walk to/from Zurich HB station.

Only negatives: The drainage in the bathroom isn't great, so after a shower the floor was wet for a while. The walls are a bit thin so sound in the hallways & other rooms travels a bit easily. Earplugs solved that, but something to be aware of if you're super sensitive to noise or a light sleeper.

Again, overall this place does the trick and I'll stay here again.
