The only advantage is this is very close to US Consulate and that’s it. No where close to what is shown in pictures on Expedia!!!

Room was smelly, lift in not so good shape old one with plywood coming out from places. No one to tell where the room is and on floor no room indicators.

Breakfast was ok but just 3 items.

Dinner… I got something which I never ordered and no replacement nothing. I asked for coke or juice or anything available but nothing was. After check out when I went to restobar whatever I asked from the menu was not available

Overall one can surely give this property a skip.

We booked a suite at The Kings Park Grand expecting a comfortable stay, but it turned out to be disappointing.

The room layout was good with two sections and a spacious bathroom, but cleanliness could have been better. The main issue was repeated power failures throughout our stay. About an hour after check-in, the power went off. A technician came and fixed it temporarily, but it kept tripping again and again.

In the evening around 7 PM, staff said it was fixed with a direct connection. However, when our dinner was delivered and we started eating, the power went off again. The technician returned and said some internal part was faulty. He was alone, and since the room was completely dark, I had to use my mobile flashlight to help him while he repaired it. It took around 30–40 minutes. Our food got cold, and the entire dinner experience was ruined.

Even the TV was not working initially and had to be fixed.

What disappointed us most was that no one from reception or management apologized. We paid around a good amount for one night and expected basic comfort. Breakfast was average, but plates and cups had visible soap stains.

Overall, I felt I wasted my money and wish I had booked a different hotel.

The room did not have electric kettle and hotel did not provide despite several calls. The wifi was not working. They refused late check out at last minute although it was approved at the time of check in. Hotel staff called in room asking to check out at 10.30am.

Location was good and near to consulate. Our luxury suite was comfortable for 4 people but once we entered the room we were greeted with dark cigarette smell from everywhere, felt like all the things in the room even towels had cigar smells. Not a good thing for our 1 year toddler. Had to keep AC on high and fans ON for proper ventilation.
We checked in at night but rooms were not ready woth the bath towels, had to call them.

It was terrible and nothing compared to what pictures show. Room was smelly, toilet was even worse condition, you can literally see yellow stains in entire toilet and dead mosquitoes on the ceiling. Also, bed was too squeaky you move and it just makes noise. Amenities wise lowest, the only good thing was that the hotel staff was nice. Otherwise don’t go on pictures for booking, even lobby ceiling was leaking water, and elevator was smelling bad. I stayed two nights and in that one night I couldn’t sleep because of unbearable smell coming from bathroom sewer. For the same amount of money you can get much much decent stay.

Convenient location for US visa related work. Rooms are not the cleanest, found a lot of bugs, stains on the sheets and cigarette residue on the floor.

Booking and coordination with reception and staff was good and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Need to really up the cleanliness game to keep up with the competition!

The breakfast was satisfactory. The hotel provided a comfortable overnight stay, but the staff’s lack of accommodation for a late checkout request was disappointing. Despite sending the request three days prior through the Expedia app, we were denied the extension of approximately three hours, which would have allowed my wife to rest due to her medical condition. The subsequent flight was scheduled for 7 pm.
Furthermore, the lobby was not in optimal condition, as the air conditioning unit was not functioning. Consequently, we had to book another hotel, as the hotel we had initially selected was also fully booked that day. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response from the hotel regarding our request.

Body wash quantity is very less for 2 days. There was no towel. I had to call. Also there is no hand towel. It is great to have one chair option for lunch or breakfast for in dining option.

Not worth the price paid

Disappointed with the stay. First and foremost place reeked of stale/moldy stench. I checked in late and staff was sleeping which was fine but the room had mold and the bed head rest and the bathroom was filled with it. Called and asked to change the room due to my medical condition and was denied saying rooms were full. No towels or toiletries, the towel that was later offered was dirty and I decided not to use it. The one positive experience was the reception carried paracetamol as I had a strong headache and that helped me through the night

Dirty towels, bed and sheets are unclean, smelly, key’s doesn’t work, checked in 3am - asked for couple extra hours to check out - lady at front desk rudely refused And when asked general pricing she mentioned rent for 24 hours (but I got ~9 hours).

Breakfast service was great, good staff and accommodated all we asked for!

Overall staff was good and responsive - property needs renovation or good maintenance.

Security in the morning was kind, caring for us while it’s raining!

The room was well furnished, modern with good ambience. Our stay could have been better if the staff were more responsive to our requests and needs. We had no hot water in the shower and wi-fi on the first day and despite calling the reception twice to raise the issue, no one came to help even though I was told that they would send someone up to attend to us. I waited till 11.30 pm and decided to go to bed. It was only when I raised my voice on the second day about their service attitude and the inconvenience they had caused us, they scrambled to send people to resolve the issue. The funny part was, the service crew member who came to resolve the water heater issue made it look like as if I didn't know how to turn the valve for hot water. When I told him that was not the case, he had other excuses. The next morning, we had no more hot water in the shower. But since we were checking out, we didn't bother raising the issue again. Once is enough.

Chose this hotel because of the closeness to US Consulate. Bad decision. This is an aged hotel which has not been maintained well. The air smells of cigarette smoke. The photos uploaded on hotels.com are misleading. The sheets and towels are old. The hotel staff give a rat’s ass about anything. The buffet breakfast lacks luster.

There was no AC working around receiption area
. It is always hot in Chennai. Lifts looks old and suffocated. My room was not having any wardrobe which i did not expect. Not so good experience and will not like to book again if i am paying 4k for one night.
