I stayed at this hotel recently and felt there is good potential, especially given its convenient and central location. The overall cleanliness and maintenance, particularly in the bathroom, could be improved, as issues like water seeping onto the floor and limited hand towels affected comfort during the stay.The staff were courteous, but some processes could be better organized. I was contacted late in the evening to provide my passport and additional documentation for their records, which would have been much more convenient and less disruptive if handled fully at check-in.The food was quite average compared with restaurants and hotels of a similar category in Chennai, and did not particularly stand out. With improvements in cleanliness, bathroom maintenance, and front-desk procedures, this hotel could offer a much smoother and more enjoyable guest experience in a very good location.

Room condition was ok and its small. So, kind of only good for a short stay for a day or two. We were three two adults and one kid and for one night so was manageable. Plus, we were there for our US visa interview, so it was conveniently located like 10-12 minutes' walk from the Biometric location. I had to call customer service couple of times to deliver hand towels, shower towels and tea/coffee creamer sugar. They delivered it in normal time. Overall, the staff is polite and cooperative. The breakfast buffet was really amazing. My wife eats Jain food, so we had so many options. Other thing I would recommend is the Uber entrance which for the hotel is a bit tricky as in you see the hotel board but the Uber person has to travel all the way back and then come at the front to pick up or drop off, nothing major just ask hotel staff to help out if you can't instruct the driver. We did that and it was smooth.

This is the most pathetic hotel at which I have ever stayed. The hotel lobby was dirty and not worth calling itself a 3 star property. The rooms smelled bad and were untidy. The bathroom area is a joke, it was too small even for a toddler.

Room service is a joke, there was no remote in our room for the TV, and I had to go to the lobby to get room service because the phone in my room was not working. Finally, someone from room service came but went without fixing anything.

Coming to the hotel staff, they were probably the worst hotel staff with whom I have ever interacted. Check-in process took like 20-30 minutes, mainly because the have a very casual attitude when it comes to hotel guests. They kept my ID after check-in and never gave it back.

Now coming to the ID fiasco, they never returned my ID after check-in and I missed to collect it. I remembered that they kept my ID for themselves idk why! Moving on, I called them 2 hours after checking out and they said they will courier my ID to my address. This went on for 7-8 days, they never courierd it to me. They stopped picking up my calls/responding to my texts. Ibis hotels support was a joke, did not help at all. Finally, I somehow managed to reach them 8 days later, and told them I will arrange a pickup just hand-over my drivers license to the pickup person. I had to tell them that I will have to file a police complaint if they lose my ID, after which they checked and said that my ID is still at the hotel. After all this

When we booked, it said that the property is non-smoking. There was unbearable smoke smell and ashtray laying around in the room. When we complained about that, they shifted us to the room with orange spits on the wall and then shifted us to the floor with feaces and vomit smell, so we had to leave in 10-15 mins of checking in. It was so bad that you will not even want to touch the bed. Totally unacceptable.

We booked a room for 2 and we had to keep reminding them to place 2 towels and glasses. Next day room service cleans the room and only places one towel and glass. Guest services were not aware that the table has got international plugs fixed to the table. For a Accor Brand I will not stay here at all nor will I recommend it to any body.

Would be amazing with a couple of adjustments.

I am a little conflicted writing this review, because I had a mixed experience at the Park.
First, the good- Amazing location. Great design and architecture (not just the same old same old). Clean- good infrastructure and facilities.
Now the not so good- there is a night club on the ground floor, and even though you are promised that you will not hear the loud music emanating from this den in your room, I definitely FELT the music (vibrations) as I slept. On the other hand, the staff were really nice when I complained about this, and moved me to a nice room on a higher floor where I didn't hear/feel the music any longer. They were also really nice about giving me a late check out when I needed it. Last pet peeve- the rooms are not very well sound proofed on the inside. So you hear anything going on in the corridor outside, including other guests, staff, etc. I am a light sleeper, so this was disruptive for me. If they fix these issues, the Park can go from a good to GREAT hotel.

I booked this hotel via Expedia ,they sent an email saying credit card declined . Expedia says booking confirmed

I reached hotel no response , I cancelled the booking thinking I’ll book with a diff card and they charged me for one night and refuse to refund.

It wasn’t even my fault . I cancelled because hotel is sending out messages on Expedia that credit card declined.

I stayed at Ibis twice during my visit to India in November 2024. It was an extremely positive experience. The hospitality was unmatched, and all the staff members were very helpful. Laxman, in particular, helped a lot during my stay. I was able to get my business done very smoothly and comfortably. Not to forget, the breakfast buffet was EXCEPTIONAL!

2nd visit to the city IBIS just one night stop over. The Hotel is modern and well managed

Check in: consistent with our last visit speedy.
Room: Comfortable bed, Coffee tea maker and fridge all in good working order. The bathroom unlike our last visit was in good order and functional.
Breakfast: good choice of food both Asian and European.
Staff: Again the big plus for us were staff who helped us arrange a Taxi to Pondicherry thanks again for the support it was very much appreciated and one reason I would recommend this hotel and will use again when in Chennai

Our check in was fast and a room was allocated on arrival although we were slightly early.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable with good quality sheets.
The bathroom was functional but worn.

We used the Restaurant and bar both nights of our stay, there was a good selection of both Indian and international dishes.

The barman Thama was able to help us with our choices and provided a good standard of service.

Staff on the whole were professional and helpful, a special thank you for the young lady who helped us with our airline booking it was much appreciated.

We intend to use the IBIS city again in the very near future and hopefully have a similar experience.

Horrible experience...! Did not get any sleep due to bed bugs. Upon complaining to front desk staff, they were asking to share the pictures and videos if any for proof. Other than the locality which is so convenient for our stay. I did not like anything else over there...!

Great place to stay incase you are planning your trip for visa stamping. Good value for money hotel, very close to the US consulate and the hotel provides taxi service. The gym and in-house restaurant are great. Apart from the restaurant being expensive, there are no cons to this place. You can always order food from outside via swiggy or zomato

Staff was very polite and helpful. We booked two rooms and they were able to provide us connecting rooms even though we hadn't requested for it in advance. Shuttle to the US consulate was convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel if someone is looking for a hotel near the US consulate.
We didn't eat at the restaurant so I cannot comment on the food.

It was pricey for what it was offering. When I made a reservation the portal was showing that the breakfast buffet was included but when I checked in the staff told me that I will have to pay extra for breakfast. The room was ok (not the cleanest). The towels were so rough that they were almost unusable. They had all the basic amenities and the only reason I stayed here is because I had to go for my visa interview and the location made it convenient.

Located at heart of the city area, 30 min drive from airport provided there is no traffic (1 hour plus depending on traffic jam), 5 min drive to the 9 year old shopping mall EA (Express Avenue) with branded fashion outlets, 5 min walking to the oldest shopping mall in India Spencer Plaza, 15 min drive to T. Nagar shopping area, 5 min drive to US Consulate & Central Govt offices (Income Tax, GST,...)

Rooms are clean and staff service is satisfactory. Recommended for business trips as well as for shopping...ICICI Bank is located just next to the hotel building. Metro (Thousand lights) is nearby and metro transit is fast and comfortable as there is heavy traffic jam on roads...!

Dislikes -
The room size is very small for the cost.
No nearby restaurants.
