Impressed with the hotel’s professional staff who were consistently helpful. Two staff members - Ella at the front desk and Artigas in the restaurant provided exceptional service. Each went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. They both speak excellent English which helped since my German is limited.

The breakfast buffet is excellent and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hotel is a bit dated but comfortable with good views of the Baltic.

Beautiful spa with amazing facilities. The buffet which was €27 was absolutely delicious and very well priced. The people that work are very helpful and courteous. I don't 5 star often at all and I have reviewed over 200 hotels and resorts but this one deserves the ratings. Be aware though some of the paperwork says 10am checkout but it is actually 11am. Again absolutely wonderful people throughout. Also spa prices for wellness were very reasonable.

Hotel and facilities were great, I loved to poll and the excellent service.
I Found only 2 issues, the curtains in the room did not block the sunlight so it was hard to sleep past 6:00am and the shower was a bit small and had some issues with warm and cold water.

Not the same as usual

We stay here every year. This year was a little different because of corona. No breakfast buffet or pool. While I understand that those are requirements I would have liked that info beforehand because the price was still the same. The breakfast was not very well organized. As a guest who has stayed here many times, i know that it is usually better. So lets hope next time we get our breakfast buffet and sauna again.

Oh I do love to be beside the seaside

The hotel was handy walking distance from the main train station.
The rear of the hotel faced the sea, and there is the promenade between the hotel and rhe sea. The room which we had faced the waterfront.The room was comfortable, but would have loved to have a kettle in the room. The windows could be opened, which meant a fresh seabreeze in the room which was very nice.
The breakfast had a wide selection, and the outdoor dining area overlooked the sea.
The hotel probably needs a little cosmetic work, but not to interfere with its overall charm. Stepping into the hotel It feels like a bygone era.
The travel card for the local area is handy, taking you as far as Prora on the bus line, and to the kleinbahnhof to catch Rasender Roland through to various highlights on the island, such as Sellin.
The pier at Binz is walking distance.
The hotel also has 2 restaurants and a bar, as well as an outside bar / cafe which serves until 19:00 (in summer while we were there).
Would I stay here again? Yes, I think I would.

Had a lovely stay here. Right on the Strand promenade and only 2 minutes to the beach. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Would have liked to have had a coffee maker though...early riser here and no coffee unless you went down to the front desk and then it was a bit of a challenge to get the coffee. Room service in the morning doesn't start until 8am. Was a great breakfast upstairs on the 6th floor. Amazing views and the food selection at the buffet was fantastic!

- Bathrooms are terribly designed, e.g. bathtub without a shower curtain make it impossible to shower without flooding the floor, separate hot and cold faucets, hot water is almost boiling
- Furniture and carpets are worn-out
- No parking spot available during our 1-week stay
- Worn-out mattresses
- Elevators too slow and can't handle high time traffic

Great Location

This hotel has old world charm and does a fantastic breakfast. The pool is nice too and the location right on the beach and near the town centre. Don't stay near Binz pier BTW as they play live music and have a market til late. Great to visit but noisy. Good restaurants near the hotel and there is soooo much to do on the island. We LOVED the tree top walks and the submarine.

The beds were not great however too soft, but would not put us off.

Gutes Hotel in Top-Lage direkt am Ostseestrand. Zimmer müssten renoviert werden. Spa ist sehr schön, aber auch hier muss die Technik renoviert werden.

Trevligt hotell. Bra läge utmed strandpromenaden. Bra frukost. Vi hade halvpension och maten var bra. Hotellet erbjuder parkering mot betalning. Det är bra för man behöver inte bilen. Det tar ca 10 minuter att promenera till piren. I kurtaxan ingår gratis resa med lokalbussarna till Prora. Hotellet bjöd på drink onsdag o lördag kväll samt prosecco ute på terrassen vid ett tillfälle. Hotellet är rent men i behov av renovering. Vi tycker inte heller om att man ska vara naken i mixad bastu eller dusch. Det är vi inte bekväma med. Det gjorde att vi inte utnyttjade Spa avdelningen. Vi är har badhus med bastu i Sverige och där är vi nakna men då är herrar för sig och damer för sig. Helhetsintrycket är att vi är nöjda med vår vistelse och att det var prisvärt men vi hade önskat att man fick ha på sig badkläder.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und man sieht deutlich, dass der einstige Glanz verblasst ist. Beim Frühstück herrscht ein einziges Gedrängel und man muss teilweise warten, um einen Platz zu bekommen. Leider ist das Frühstück / Gastronomie nicht einem 4-Sterne Hotel angemessen. Das Personal ist allerdings bemüht, einige Defizite auszugleichen. Fazit: nicht das Geld wert, leider.

Alles war in Ordnung, nur das Personal an der Rezeption – zumindest der junge Mann, der uns empfangen hat – war alles andere als zuvorkommend oder hilfsbereit. Stattdessen wirkte er arrogant und verweigerte uns sogar die Ausgabe einer zweiten Schlüsselkarte. Ich glaube, ein Chatbot hätte uns besser unterstützt.

Essen war leider nicht so gut. Warme Speisen waren gerade so lauwarm und nach 5 Minuten auf dem Teller kalt. Selbst als sie frisch aus der Küche aufgefüllt wurden, nur lauwarm. Die versprochenen glutenfreien Brötchen gab es nicht. Die Kellner haben sehr lange gebraucht und waren nicht kundenorientiert, außer wenn sie dann angesprochen wurden.

Super Lage, nettes Personal. Frühstück sehr gut. Traumhafte Aussicht im Restaurant - dort kam es gelegentlich zu kleineren Verständigungsschwierigkeiten, da das Servicepersonal international besetzt war und teilweise nur eingeschränkte Deutschkenntnisse vorhanden waren.
Zu bemängeln ist die Parksituation, ich kann nur jedem der mit Auto anreist, raten, nur mit Parkplatz AM HOTEL zu buchen. Wenn dort keiner verfügbar ist lieber woanders hin. Ansonsten kann es passieren, dass man 300m Fußweg hat oder sogar am Bahnhof parken muss 10 Minuten Fußweg - dort wurden wir direkt wieder hingeschickt nach dem Check in.
Unser Zimmer fiel am Anreisetag einem Wasserschaden zum Opfer. Dafür bekamen wir ein leichtes Downgrade aber und als Entschädigung All Inclusive, ein guter Tausch!
Spabereich super, 2 Pools, Badeaufsicht etwas ruppig.
Design und Einrichtung renovierungsbedürftig: Oma/Opa Stil aus meiner Sicht -stört mich allerdings nicht so sehr. Teppich im Zimmer hatte Flecken, die wohl nicht mehr rauszukriegen sind. Sehr warm
im Hotel, im Eingangsbereich See/Pool Klima.

Das Essen war wunderbar. Für Groß und Klein, egal welche Geschmäcker - es war immer etwas zu finden (Halbpension gebucht). Die Möbel im Zimmer haben jedoch schon bessere Tage gesehen und könnten durchaus erneuert werden sowie das Badezimmer. Ansonsten war aber auch vom Service und Personal alles super. Im Generellen waren alle Angestellten sehr freundlich, insbesondere zu unserer Tochter. Wir kommen wieder :)

Ein sehr schönes, etwas altmodisches Hotel mit sehr gut u. geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern, Balkon mit Zugang zu einer der Sonnenterrassen, einem wunderschönen Restaurant in der obersten (6.) Etage, von wo aus man einen tollen Blick auf die Ostsee u. auf die Umgebung hat. Frühstück u. Abendbuffet sehr schmackhaft u. ansprechend präsentiert.
Das gesamte Personal ist überaus freundlich u. zuvorkommend !!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer sehr guten Lage. Wir hatten ein DZ mit Balkon und Meerblick (1. Etage), der Ausblick war fantastisch.
Der Wellnessbereich ist mit etlichen Saunen ausgestattet und schön, nur die Anzahl der Ruheliegen ist sehr übersichtlich.

Schönes Hotel für Kurzurlaub und Entspannung direkt an der Promenade. Frühstück perfekt, Personal stets aufmerksam und am Buffet fehlt es trotz der vielen Busreisenden an nichts. Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Zimmer mit Meerblick war toll. Man hatte nicht nur Meerblick sondern auch Meeresrauschen.
Das Essen war wunderbar. Sehr lecker.
Das einzige was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, war das es zuwenig Liege/Ruhemöglichkeiten im Saunabereich gab. Der Wellnessbereich war aber sonst schön.

Am Samstagabend war das Buffetrestaurant deutlich überfordert (Hauptgerichte waren “aus” und leere Schüsseln und Platten warteten aufs Nachlegen), die anderen Tage war es prima.

Schönes und entspanntes Hotel zum entspannen und relaxen. Angefangen von immer freundlichen Personal, ausreichende und saubere Zimmerausstattung (Wasserkocher fehlte), Frühstück war immer super und ausreichend und total entspannter und schöner Wellnessbereich. Ok das Thermalbad (Wassertemperatur) könnte wärmer sein. Aber ansonsten alles Super 👍
Wäre auf jeden Fall wieder ein Besuch wert und wird weiter empfohlen.

Ich habe nur drei Sterne bei der Sauberkeit gegeben, da unser Zimmer leider in 7 Tagen 6x vergessen wurde. Auch auf Anfrage kamen 2 Mitarbeiter legten die Bettdecke gerade hin, nahmen den Müll mit, ohne eine neue Mülltüte im Eimer zu lassen und gingen wieder. Ich müsste darum bitten das ich eine saubere Kaffeetasse bekomme und dem Roomboy wegen sauberer Handtücher hinterher laufen. Der Rest des Hotels war dem alter entsprechend sauber und ordentlich.

Vi kom för att koppla av med bad, spa, promenader o shopping.
Omständig incheckning o betalning. Allt skulle göras på papper. För att låna ett spel skulle två blanketter fyllas i o skrivas under. Tog tid att få hjälp, ex behövde vi mer toalettpapper o ringde om det. Tog två timmar innan någon kom. Flera av personalen talade dålig/ingen engelska.
Skulle vara fräschare om heltäckningsmattorna byttes mot golv som kan våttorka . Vårt rum hade endast badkar med dusch. Mycket hög kant att kliva över. F fa risk när man skulle ur.
Gör hotellet rökfritt på balkonger, utomhus vid frukost-/middagsmatsal. Skulle bli betydligt fräschare.

Superläge och bra komfort.

Bra läge, lite slitet hotell men inget som störde. Synd att rummet inte hade balkong. Ingen fläkt och varmt på rummet om natten. Bäddsoffan var skön, ett stort plus! Inte hotellets fel, men myggen invaderade om natten! Toppen med inomhuspool där även barn är välkomna. Besöker gärna igen!

Der Wellness Bereich ist gut. Wir haben aus unserem Zimmer auf und in den 1,50 Meter entfernten Eingangsbereich geschaut. Könnten also weder die Fenster öffnen noch die Vorhänge zur Seite ziehen. Das Bett war sowohl am Kopf- als auch am Fußende von einer Wand begrenzt.

Nicht noch mal. Enttäuschung pur!

Wir waren als Familie unterwegs. Der grösste Anteil der Gäste liegt im älteren Bereich. Mit Kindern anzureisen, welche Spaß im Pool haben möchten, eher ungeeignet. Da werden schon mal die Augen verdreht von Gästen, die das Rugard in Binz schon 150 Jahre lang bereisen und die vielen Mängel nicht mehr sehen oder sehen wollen. Angefangen vom versifften Teppich in fast allen Etagen. Zimmer alle veraltet bzw abgewohnt. Matratzen durchgelegen und diese verrutschten auch ständig. Das ausgeschriebene GROSSE Schlafsofa war für eine Person ausgelegt und wir haben zu Dritt im Ehebett geschlafen. Bettzeug ( Kissen sehr dreckig- eklig) Der Wasserhahn im Bad ( Wanne ) tropfte in einer Tour. Parkplatzsituation schlecht. Mussten in der Parallelstr. parken. 11,00 wurde trotzdem verlangt. Frühstück/ Abendessen sehr nüchtern. Keine Abwechslung. Viele verschiedene Nationalitäten, die kein Deutsch können, aber freundlich waren. Der Flur zu den Zimmern roch sehr muffig. Im Sommer sind die Zimmer sehr warm, da keine Klimaanlage. Wenn man aufs putzen verzichtet gibts Gutscheine für Heissgetränke. Im Sommer eher ein Aprilscherz!!! Wer kommt auf so Ideen? Wir können dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Viel Geld bezahlt, wenig Leistung bekommen. Alles muss dringend erneuert/ saniert / modernisiert werden.

Wir hatten eine angenehme Woche im Hotel. Das Frühstück war super. Etwas schade, daß die Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen ist. Was ich auch schade finde ist,dass das Parken ganz schön teuer ist und es zu wenig Parkplätze gab. Der Beautybereich und die Saunen sind der Wahnsinn. Der Service ist sehr nett und bemüht. Viele ältere Gäste und eher weniger was für Kinder...
Aber um großen und ganzen kann man daß mal machen. Preislich gesehen,fand ich es ok.

Bra och fint hotell nära strandpromenaden. Rummen var lite små och inte lite slitna, men god service, generöst bemötande, närheten till bad både på stranden och i poolen gjorde upplevelsen bra.
Boka gärna parkering i förväg då det var lite svårt att få på hotellet, var också medvetna om att man behöver betala extra turist-skatt i Binz vilket man gör på boendet (något vi inte visste).

Husk at reservere en strandkurv (19 euro/dag) på forhånd ellers er der ingen til jer. De har kun 30 strandkurve til 230 gæster. Husk at reservere et værelse højere oppe end 2. sal, ellers er der ikke havudsigt, men udsigt til træer med glimtvis havudsigt.
Morgenmaden er overlækker og værelserne er OK, men i lettere slidt tilstand.

Prima, fijne sfeer, geschikt voor herhaling!

Mooi hotel, compleet en sfeervol, iets gedateerd misschien maar dat vindt ik prima, zo aan de Oostzeekust.
De roomservice liet wel grote steken vallen maar werd prinma door de receptie opgelost. Wij hadden halfpensioen in buffetvorm, deze waren in het algemeen goed en afwisselend. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer!
