Older property near beach but with no beach amenities like chairs, lounges or towels. Pool was small and underground, seemed like an afterthought. Rooms were large but older. Paid for lateral sea view but this was a waste, can't see beach or water through the trees. Bath/shower combo was dangerous for us and anyone with reduced mobility or muscle tone. There was a hand hold but our greatest concern was falling in the tub. Overall, large room but over priced, did not receive value we were hoping for.

Wonderful hotel in a little-known part of Germany

My husband and I decided to go to Binz after we got off a Baltic cruise and we lved it. The Dorint was on the beach promenade and although the beach itself was too cold for us US Southerners, we walked a lot on the promenade. The hotel was a perfect location and the staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and with great amenities and location, only a short walk from the train station.

Nice hotel, big rooms, on beach

This hotel is on the boardwalk or promenade, but YOU CANNOT SEE THE WATER from any but a very few rooms due to all the trees in front of hotel between water and hotel. Room is big and comfy, very quiet and clean, good breakfast with long hours from 7 am to noon daily. If you get on top floor the windows are skylights over the bed and if you open them you get wet when it rains!

Rooms enormous we had large bedroom and lounge, spa downstairs great for a swim (indoors) or minutes from sea for swim. Breakfast lots of choice buffet and endless coffee. 5 mins walk from railway station.

Rugen is a long trip from the UK but worth it. Binz is a gem, blue sea, white band, very well kept attractive town. The narrow gauge railway runs through the town and this is clearly a major tourist attraction.
The room was a surprise having a separate lounge. A shame that it didn't have a sea view but that is a very minor point. The hotel is located on the pro made with direct access to the beach with Baltic deckchairs and nearby beach bar. The hotel has all the facilities including a smokers lounge - a nice touch for those of us that still have the habit but separate enough that it wouldn't cause a problem to non-smokers.
Helpful friendly staff, good breakfast choice.
There is an underground car park and there are also parks nearby.

Ein sehr gut gelegenes Hotel direkt an der Promenade.
Sehr gut gepflegtes Haus und tolles Frühstück.
Zimmer und Einrichtung liebevoll zum Wohlfühlen eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage hat funktioniert. Das Schwimmbad ist ganz toll.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das nette und sehr hilfsbereite Servicepersonal. Eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und kompetente Mitarbeiter, die ihre Job leben.

Junior-Suite unter unseren Erwartungen

Die Junior Suite, insbesondere der Balkon hat nicht ganz unsere Erwartungen erfüllt (Sitzgelegenheiten und Ausblick fehlte). Es ist nicht einfach einen Parkplatz in Binz zu finden. Elektroauto-Ladestationen sind auch schwerz zu finden. Bei beidem kann das Hotel nur sehr begrenzte Angebote machen.

Unser Zimmer 214 war leider auch nach hinten raus direkt an die Anfahrtrampe und das war morgens teilweise sehr laut. Hervorragend war der Frühstückservice selten so eine Freundlichkeit erlebt

wiederholter Kurzurlaub im Dorint Binz

Sind seit etlichen Jahren "Wiederholungstäter" und haben uns auch bei diesem Besuch wieder rundherum wohlgefühlt im Dorint Strandhotel Binz. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und geräumige Suite (Upgrade des Hauses) . Jeglicher Service war kompetent und beispielhaft.
Die Gesamtanlage des Hauses ist sehr stimmig.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen direkt an der Strandpromenade. Entsprechend gibt es genug Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants direkt in nebenan. Ich hatte eine Suite mit Balkon und wundervollem Blick direkt auf die Ostsee. Es war sehr geräumig mit Wohn- und Schlafbereich. Alles sauber und gutes WLAN. Das hauseigene Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut mit tollem Essen (z.B. Seeteufel auf Trüffelpasta). Frühstück hatte alles was man sich wünschen kann. Parken kann man beim Bahnhof (ca300 m entfernt) oder man mietet einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage für ca 20€ die Nacht. Tiefgarage ist in der Parallelstraße. Das Personal im Frühstücksrestaurant als auch im Abendrestaurant waren alle super. Rezeptionspersonal waren die meisten ebenfalls super. Also definitiv empfehlenswert.

Die Mitarbeiter sind motiviert und sehr freundlich. Machbare Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt. Frühstück gut, Abendessen richtig gut.
Man sollte demnächst daran arbeiten, die Zimmer zu renovieren, ansonsten passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr.

Wohlfühlurlaub direkt an der Ostsee!

Wir hatten ein wunderbares, geräumiges Zimmer bzw. eine Suite in der obersten Etage, die den Eindruck machte, als sei sie gerade frisch möbliert: sehr geschmackvolle Möbel, ein großes Bett mit Blick in den Himmel (2 Velux-Fenster über der Kopfseite), beste Matratzen, großes Bad! Die drei Service-Damen vom Frühstück waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, sie hatten alles im Blick / Griff. Die Eierspeisen wurden immer frisch und flink von einer Service-Kraft zubereitet.
