The hotel is pretty basic for a 4*.
The toiletries are non-existent, the shower is very small, the decor is a bit dated, no tea/coffee/water in room…
It’s quite noisy as well: it might have been the lift I could hear during the night but there was a deep noise from time to time that woke me up.
The breakfast is ok but far from being great (no fresh fruit, limited food options…)

We stayed here for our last night in Rome before flying back to New York. The hotel is clean and the staff at the front desk were polite, but overall the experience was just average. The location is far from the city center, so it’s not ideal unless you have a car or are specifically looking to be in this area. The room was basic and comfortable enough for one night, but nothing special. Breakfast was limited compared to other places we stayed during our trip. It served its purpose for a quick overnight.

The young woman at the desk when we checked in was friendly and helpful. Very basic accomodations but the place is quiet, the linens are clean and the bed is comfortable. Good air conditioning system. Nice to have a garage to park the car in a cool place. The breakfast buffet was great with a large variety of cold cuts, breads and drinks. The service was very good. I would stay here again if I come back to the Rome Area.

Nice hotel a little out of the way

The hotel itself is very nice and the staff was great. We had a nice meal in the restaurant and the staff packed us take away breakfast in the morning because our flight was so early. Unfortunately the pool was closed for the two nights we were there with no explanation. Also there is not alot to do in the area.

Mixed feelings about this hotel near Ciampino

If you land past 10 pm at Ciampino, forget about this hotel since they don't offer the shuttle late at night. I had to take a taxi and knowing I wasn't going into Rome center but just a 7 km away, I expected to pay maximum 15 euros.

I was charged the fixed 30 euros anyway so I might as well have booked a hotel located in the center and be where I meant the next day.

The hotel looks nice when you arrive and even has a pool (5 euros extra). There is free breakfast from 7 to 10 am and the selection is great to have a typical Italian breakfast. Even the coffee machine is top notch.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, in the dining room & at the front desk. I did take the fast & free shuttle on the next day to get back to the airport so I could take public transportation for 1.50 euro to the center.

The only thing I disliked was the room. The rug was stained in multiple places, there was a super long hair in the bathroom, the walls were paper thin and I could hear everyone at night and in the morning.

The worst path was the smell. The room had a really strong fake perfume smell and there was no way to get rid of it since there's only AC. It was so strong that I'm still trying to get rid of the smell from the clothes I wore in the bed that night. Never experienced this before.

In the end, no, I would never go back to this hotel because paying an additional 30 euros to get to take does not make sense. If you drive, then it's a decent option to rest.

Quiet area, clean and friendly

OK, so don't get worried. You drive through an industrial estate and think, oh my word what have I done. The hotel is out the other side in amongst some nice houses overlooking a field. It looks modern and pleasing to the eye.
The entrance is a bit bland and sterile but very clean. Easily checked in. We were late and we were told no food or drink was available. Rooms were very nice, nothing fancy, but you could tell one of the two rooms we booked had been smoked in. Try and get the side away from the pool as people smoke on patio outside and you get that whiff, little bit of noise, but hey that's a hotel. The pool is overlooked by the restaurant and lobby so no real privacy here. It is not much too look at. It was October so we were not going to use it. The free breakfast is a continental style. Don't expect much but it was fine, all the food was fresh. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good, quite reasonable price. It is nowhere near any public transport so a car is an essential piece of kit. the Metro is two junctions on the motorway at Laurentina. Would I stay here again, yes I would. Its nothing special, but we got a good price, so you get what you pay for.

Stayed from Thursday through to Monday, hotel itself was clean and modern although absolutely no atmosphere.
Restaurant only served pasta dishes that all seemed to be the same regardless of what they were called on the menu.
Due to it being a struggle to get in and out of Rome from this location I relied on the hotel shuttle, which on the Saturday was a great mistake. Due to a holiday in ciampino we were left stranded with no good explanation and reception not willing to listen to my grievance, as stated decent enough hotel but no use for a trip to Rome.

Nice hotel near Ciampino airport.

Hotel is very nice and convenient to the CIA airport. Otherwise, there is no reason to stay at this location as I t is 30 minutes from Rome Centro. They do charge 5 Euros pp to use the pool which I thought irritating. Coffee in the room would have been nice. Overall a good value though.

Very bad experience with this hotel. They made mistake on booking terms and charge us duplicate, check-in staff know about this, but still ask me to sign credit card payment slip. Very not fair. And it's over 90 days after our stay now, still not receive back the refund. Very bad service. Don't give them your credit card on booking, or even don't book this hotel

Good hotel for overnight stay near CIA Airport

The rooms are nice. The service was good when we arrived (they offered us a toast when we got there around mid night when asked about food,), but the receptionist wanted to charge us 10 euros for literally two small pieces of toast. We did nit pay at the end, but no body likes a nasty surprise! It is fine if they want to charge, but they have to tell the customers first (and it will be up to the customer to decide whether they want to go through with it or not).

Worth the price

Decent hotel for the price. I would return. Appeared to be a slightly sketchy neighbourhood so I wouldnt walk around at night. The hotel staff were very accomodating and had no problem answering questions and helping. Cheap beer and snacks, and breakfast was the normal Italian pastries. I did walk up to the Evergreen pizzeria and it was great. I got a pizza loaded with goodies for €5 and the staff were so welcoming.

Far from city center and surrounded by jungles

I had chosen the hotel based on the information which mentioned airport transfer is provided. Later I was told they did not provide the transfer for FCO airport. A hotel service counter asked me to go by bus to Termini station and take a taxi from there. Finally the whole trip to hotel costs me €50 which was higher than the hotel rate. Very upset and disappointed with Expedia over the adequate info and unhelpful hotel reception.

Nice Hotel in a bad neighborhood

The hotel itself is nice, but the location quickly takes away from its charm. It is located just south of the highway ring around Rome, which is good for travelers, but not for tourists. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport, just not the airport we wanted to go to. To get to Rome, the hotel will drop you off at the bus stop around the corner, where you will need to get off at Laurentina, to get on the metro to major stops in Rome. The hotel should change its policy to provide hourly drop-offs at Laurentina. It will save the travelers time, and prevent them from feeling unsafe at the bus stop. Free breakfast is good, but the Hotels 5 Euro charge to use the pool is stupid. Go somewhere else.............

Unfriendly staff and far from city.

I did NOT like the hotel staff because they didn't acknowledged us at all, and all of them seem to be unfriendly every time I asked for something. However, the only person who was nice was the chef who greeted us \"good morning\". Overall the hotel staff seem to be more talkative and nice to the locals rather than to the foreigners. I also did NOT like the fact that we left a sign on our door requesting for the room to be clean while we were in the city, and as we returned we found our room left the way it was with the sign deliberately flipped to the \"Do Not Disturb!\" side. Lastly, I did NOT like the wifi service because I would always get a bad connection every time I logged in. On the positive side, I LIKED the country-like scenery around the hotel, the free breakfast, and the spacious clean bathroom in our room. OVERALL, I would not recommend this hotel to foreigners due to its hotel staff, and far distance from the city centre.

Great hotel, in the middle of nowhere.

We read the reviews for this hotel and we decided to book it as we were hiring a car (plenty of free car parking space is provided at this hotel you will need a SAT NAV to find this hotel). This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and I mean nowhere. It's a 20 minute drive to the nearest metro station. Rome centre is about 45-50 minutes drive depending on the traffic. We found parking easy and cheap (we live in London so we're used to these prices) Traffic in Rome can be very very scary if you're not used to big city driving. Also hire a small car as some of the streets in central Rome are alleyways.

This hotel is a great hotel. Clean fresh and modern rooms with great heating and air conditioning. The beds and pillows were very very comfortable and have all the facilities that you would expect. The wifi went down for 2 of the days we were staying although there are PCs in the reception area.

The swimming pool is €5 a day per person.

The breakfast is typical continental breakfast cheese/ham rolls/ cakes and cereals and yogurts. Fruit juice and coffee and tea. Simple and good quality.

All in all we were very very happy with our stay here and we used the restaurant one evening and the food was of a very high standard and very good service. The chef also came out to see if everything was ok. We had no complaints.

Would I recommend it to anyone - Prob not unless they were just staying overnite & didn't mind the damp/smokey smell of the rooms, I had to wash all my clothes (even the ones I didn't wear) when I got home they smelt so bad
The pool cost 5 euro's a day which I think was really bad, it wasn't even heated, it was too cold to get in
The rooms were pretty basic and didn't have much going on and smelt really bad
The breakfast was pretty poor, no hot food whatsoever, just watermelon as a fruit option, 2 cereals, ham, cheese, hard boiled egg, a couple of cakes and croissants and that is it! No fresh juice, no toast or anything! Very poor for a 4* hotel to be honest.
The location is dreadful, it is at the back of a run-down, dirty, rubbish filled, dis-used industrial estate in the middle of no-where, there is no-where to walk from the hotel and its right next to a motorway. We got the hotel shuttle to the bus stop and bought a bus/metro ticket from the little shop near the gas station, we caught the 702 bus to Laurentina bus station then got on the metro to Circo Massimo near the colloseum. The hotel staff were friendly and gave us a map and offered help etc. spoke reasonably good English. Sorry the hotel was fairly new but due to smell of rooms and location and bad breakfast I would not stay here again

Friendly staff and beautiful hotel in Rome

My boyfriend and I arrived to the hotel quite late in the evening. We were very happy to find a quiet and clean hotel to spend the evening before our early morning flight. The restaurant was closed and we were very hungry so the wonderful staff went out of their way to make us a light snack with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and wine! It was delicious! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay!

Tourists: Extra Transportation arrangements needed

Tourtists: The closest metro to the hotel is the Laurentina Line. From the Laurentina metro station you have to take a 15 minute bus ride to the bus stop and walk approx 15 minutes to the hotel. These are a few time restrictions to your plans if you are in Rome to visit the tourist areas. Time restrictions meaning make sure that you plan when the last bus and metros stop so that you are not stranded. We waited for the last bus, the last bus pulled up an hour before it was indicated and the driver shut it down.The hotel provides a shuttle but only during certain times of the day, so if you arrive at an airport early you are on your own to get the hotel and the taxis depending which airport you fly into are somewhat pricy compared to the metro and the bus that can take you to the Termini metro station and from there travel by metro to the Laurentina metro. Once you find out where you are it is pretty easy to navigate the area.The front desk was pretty helpful and ensured that we got to the bus stop in the morning at our request and also did not charge us for any of the English movies on Pay Per View. We had issues with the wi-fi and using Apple Ipads, but they did not charge for the use of the computers that were available there, but they were slow. The staff was very pleasing in fixing and answering any questions that we had. The only slight issue was the location and the extra walking and bus ride if we had a full day of sight seeing to get back to the hotel.

I book this hotel because my daughter has early morning flight. But the hotel is not closed to CIA airport and no store and train station around. I paid €30 for taxi from hotel to airport. The fare From center of Rome to airport is € 30.
Also there is no WiFi in the room.

Honestly, we arrived at the hotel expecting a normal run-of-the-mill place to stay. Can't express enough how pleasantly surprised we were! Condition of the building, rooms, restaurant, reception was immaculate (which is surprising since, let's face facts, you almost always spot a grotty corner here there and everywhere). Staff were pleasant, however, I only scored 4 out of 5 for the 'lifted eyebrow look' when I asked for some complimentary toothbrushes (we were only there for one night on an unexpected layover) and the fact they didn't have any complimentary razors... I know, petty, but all the same it's the difference between 4 and 5... Pool looked well maintained (though we couldn't make use of it) and the grounds well tended to. Overall all though, great place and good prices. Nice location and in very close proximity to a fantastic Pizza Restaurant called \"Dea Di Roma\" which offered a great menu of all-you-can-eat wood fired pizza, with all-you-can-drink beer and soda, entrees and desert included for €15,00 per person (worth thinking about if you ever stay here)... The only other little down-fall, which (having now read the fine print was mine own error) is the fact to you need to remember that the City Tax get's billed to you locally. Just a small let down, but it's important to remember just incase you too get that \"I thought I paid it all upfront, I'll check when I get home\" feeling...

The hotel is 10 min driving distance from Ciampino airport,with a free parking, but it is far away from the center of Rome, if you have a car it is complicated to find your way back(gps obligatory!).It should be stated more clearly that some local taxes are not included in the price given upon reservation and have to be paid at check out. Breakfast was ok, although there could be some improvement.

A long way from rome

The hotel staff were indifferent, we felt as if we were an inconvenience rather than guests and we had booked 2 rooms! At check in, there seemed to be some confusion about whether or not we had booked and paid for the hotel. The room was clean although both rooms booked only had one bath towel even though there were 2 adults in each. The hotel is about 800m from bus stop, then you need to take bus to Laurentina and metro into Roma. The hotel offered a drop off service to Bus stop but the times were not always suitable and the last bus picked up in Ardeatina at 9pm, not quite late enough bearing in mind it's about an hour from Rome. Breakfast was basic, would have liked fresh fruit and fresh croissants instead we got tinned fruit salad and long life croissants! I can only imagine that this hotel got a 4* rating because it had a pool (which you have to pay to use each day) and the room had a mini bar. If you have a car it is probably a nice place to stay, if you are relying on public transport, then find somewhere much closer to Rome, it would be worth the price difference.

If you drive it is a good hotel with lots of parking and the location is quite and far from city. It takes around 30 mins to drive to city which is okay. The room is clean and reasonably size. Much better comparing to the ROME inside the city centre. If you drive, highly recommend!

Only suitable if you have a car!

Good: It’s a new hotel. Staff are nice. Free parking. Free wifi. 24hour reception. Fairly clean. Free safe box.
Bad: The pool is permanently closed. Its there for decoration. Brakfast in room cost 5€ extra. Shower box extremely small. If you are over 55kg you would hardly fit!! We took a double room but they have joined 2 single beds together which was very uncomfortable. Small room. The hotel is located in the middle of no where so you definitely need a car fit with GPS as its very difficult to locate. You will need to pay 3€ per person per night for tax on top of the room rate. No tea/coffee making facilities.

Excellent place to stay!

At first, my friends and I were totally unimpressed, as we drove through a rough-looking neighborhood. We even said that this place had better be super nice to make up for the neighborhood. Sure enough, we rounded a huge fence and everything changed! The area immediately surrounding the hotel is beautiful, the hotel itself is immaculately kept, the service is great, the restaurant is great, the room was super nice and the wifi worked like a charm. If you're going to stay \"in\" Rome, this is definitely the place to stay. One piece of advice, though. Take a cab to the nearest bus station (find it on a map). If you ask a cabby to take you to the Coliseum or the Vatican or some other attraction, it'll cost you about 30 euro or more. You can ride the bus and subway for 12 hours with a 4 euro pass. So, get the cabby to drop you off at the nearest spot that you can buy a ticket and go from there. You won't regret it. GREAT HOTEL!

Good hotel for the money, but a huge compromise on convenience and location.

We didn't want to spend $200-$300 a night so this was a clean, nice hotel for a reasonable price. They offer shuttle service to the closest bus stop and to the smaller of Romes 2 airports. Most international flights go out of the bigger one. Getting around without a car was very time consuming because we had to wait for the hotel shuttle to take us to the bus stop, then wait for the bus, then get on the metro to the train station, or the tourist places that we wanted to go to . If we would have had a car, none of this would not have been an issue but my hubby refused to drive in Rome so that wasn't an option. When coming back from the bus stop in the evening you have to call the hotel to come pick you up at the bus stop. Our international phone didn't work so we had to use a phone booth and stand around in the dark waiting for them to come with their shuttle. One evening they had just taken someone to the airport so it was going to be a long wait and we decided to just walk.to the hotel from the bus stop. It was about a mile and we like to walk a lot so that didn't bother us. Most people would not have liked that. They have a very nice breakfast buffet which is complementary. It worked out fine for us since we are cheap and like to walk but some people wouldn't like that. The drawback was that a lot of the brief amount of time we had in Rome, was spent waiting around for mass transit, so we didn't have time to see as much as I would have liked.

The recptionists at the front desk were very helpful and informative, the accommodations were great, breakfast was lovely. However dinner at the restaurant was entirely inedible and left us with a bad taste!

Great Hotel to stay in - if you have a car.

The Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were helpful. This hotel is great if you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and even better if you have a car. You Definately need a car as the taxis totally rip you off. Food was very good.

Lovley hotel.

This hotel is gorgeous. It's only a new hotel and you can totally tell. The breakfast was good in the morning and they have the internet plus a free shutle bus to take you to the train station. We were staying there for just on night and we got a taxi from Rome airport which cost €50.00 so that was expensive but we got the free shuttle bus to the train the next morning so it all worked out. I don't know about the location because we didn't get to look around so that would depend on what you were doing for yout trip. For a 1 or 2 night stay it's brillaint.

Siamo stati bene ,ma attenti ai particolari!!!

Viste le foto mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso. Le camere sono da rivedere, la porta del bagno sbatte contro il bidet quando si apre, nessun asciugamano da bidet ( siamo in Italia!!!) Ma solo 2 : doccia e mani, nessun bollitore presente in camera ( in un 4 stelle!!). Presente solo 1 cuscino a testa e il copriletto era davvero brutto. La colazione invece era molto buona, specialmente i dolci tutti freschissimi e ottimi.

hotel molto curato, tutto il personale oltre ad essere professionale, è molto cordiale nel soddisfare ogni richiesta, colazione include pietanze salate e pietanze dolci con frutta e vari yogurt, per chi è in cerca di una struttura fuori dal caos questa è la giusta scelta, non si sente nessun tipo di schiamazzi o rumori molesti, nella struttura si trova una piscina dove si può rilassarsi al sole oltre che ordinare qualsiasi bevanda al bar adiacente, e presente anche un servizio di ristorazione per chi vuole pranzare o cenare a prezzi contenuti,in sintesi la mia vacanza con la famiglia la definirei eccellente!

Non può essere certo classificato come un quattro stelle. Le camere sono molto piccole e i bagni minuscoli (1.5 x 1.5 metri) dove trova posto una doccia piccola e in condizioni penose con ruggine, pareti scrostate e sanitari pessimi (come da foto allegate). Di appoggi neanche a parlarne visto lo spazio a disposizione e manca anche un porta-asciugamani per le tovagliette da bidet. Anche in camera scarseggiano gli appoggi, mentre in compenso c’è un mini-pacchetto Sky. La regolazione del climatizzatore è semplice ed efficace. La colazione è ridotta al minimo con i distributori automatici di bevande e la relativa (scarsa) qualità. Le crostate sono buone, c’è solo il prosciutto cotto come salume e tutte le pietanze sono scoperte. Di uova strapazzate e bacon neanche a parlarne e non c’è traccia di frutta fresca né, tantomeno, di frutta secca. Se vi viene voglia di una vera spremuta, sappiate che è a pagamento. La pulizia è buona ed il personale è gentile e disponibile e fa di tutto per elevare il basso livello della struttura. Disponibile gratuitamente un garage coperto.

Al di là della struttura che utilizzavo circa 15 anni fa (allora era di recente costruzione) ma in cui nulla è stato fatto in questi anni a quindi è piuttosto \"andata\" e si vede che mai fanno manutenzione.......non è assolutamente classificabile come 4* e men che meno merita il costo che si fanno pagare. Pessima esperienza poi col ristorante: arrivo alle 19,30, con la sala occupata solo da 2 clienti e quindi praticamente tutto vuoto. Chiedo un tavolo, mi si risponde \"mi spiace è tutto occupato, lo chef non accetta altri ospiti se non dopo le 21..\" Non credo fosse un problema sistemarmi, lo spazio c'è, è proprio la cucina che non mi accettava. In conclusione......ripasso alle 20 e poi allle 20,30......la sala completamente vuota!! Morale: poca (zero) professionalità e manco capacità organizzativa. Avrei mangiato diverse volte nel frattempo.
