Clean, great location.Whole town very walkable. The air conditioning did not work. On arrival in mid September the room was hot and stuffy. The wall adjuster will not allow you to lower the temperature at all. We were told the temperature would lower after a few minutes but that never happened .The bathroom had no air and stank of sewage. A fan was brought into the room but did not help till well in the night when the outside temperature began to fall. Old mid 20th century building with no air circulation at all. To say the air condition needs upgrading is an understatement ! This place maybe good in freezing winter but not at any other time. Would never stay here again, ever!

We chose the good night inn after reading trip advisor reviews. Wow what s find the hotel is, it's right in the middle of Brig the staff are lovely and so helpful the rooms are nicely appointed with everything you need. The breakfasts are in a magnificent large downstairs room and there is loads of choice to be had. The other bonus is they have an underground car park which was great for us as we could park our Motorcycle in it safely. It's very quiet even though it's in the centre of town with some stunning Alpine scenery. We would stay here again when traveling through Switzerland it's surrounded by shops and restaurants that we didn't think we're that expensive to eat out at considering the bigger cities like Lucernne or Bern Montreux etc. All in all a great stay on our way to our next hotel stay in Lake Maggiore in Italy.

I would say it's cleanliness is on the top among most hotels in Switzerland (or the world). Even the four-star hotel I've stayed in San Francisco downtown cannot compete with them. Breakfast buffet is simple, but nice. The receptionists are very friendly as well. It locates in the central of Brig. Easy access to downtown, supermarkets, and various shops.

We spent the weekend in Brig and this was a great location to base ourselves. It was near the train station, making our travel in and out of Brig convenient. The room was small, but the beds were comfortable and the comforters were very warm. We were able to relax and sleep just fine. The breakfast had a good selection: fresh breads and jams, meats and cheese and veggies, cereal, yogurt, mixed fruit, and a coffee machine. The views offered by our room were pleasant - the further up you are, the better the view gets. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Brig.

Hotel is located next to central square and on a river bank. Very convinient to everything. Our room faced river and mountains, it was very quiet. Breakfast buffet was excellent and substantial, served in big nice ballroom downstairs. We ate couple nights in the hotel restaurant. After reading the review from that guest from New York, I was appalled at what a self serving drip some travelers can be. The stay could not have been better as it was an excellent location with killer parking underground for our rental car, a great breakfast, beer and soft drinks available on each floor for 2 sf, on an honor system out of a cooler, and a great price to boot. Yes there were tour bus guests, but who cares they were also very kind an accommodating. We are from Hawaii and are so glad we live away from creepy, picky, grumpy, dweebs who have the balls to complain about a great deal, clean room and beer...geeze

This was one of the better 3-star hotels we stayed in Switzerland, despite the name \"inn\". The room and bathroom sizes were reasonable. The shower area is not big, but comfortable and functional (e.g. shower worked well, the drainage was good). It is quite convenient: about 6 minutes walk from the main train station. The breakfast was very good, with an excellent espresso machine. We could also keep our luggage in their office (instead of some random room in some hotels). The staff were very friendly.

We were just here for a night stopover on the way to and from Zermatt. The hotel met our needs, it was clean, comfortable and had a huge dining room downstairs where breakfast was served. The breakfast buffet consisted of cereal, assorted breads and spreads, boiled eggs, cold meats & cheeses, yoghurt, fruit and coffee etc. it was more than adequate for our family.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Short walk from the train and close to city center. The staff were friendly and service was OUTSTANDING. The restaurant was even friendly enough to lend me a knife and bowl when I requested it. The breakfast was also good. modern central hotel in Brigg
Hotel is a few minutes walk from train station. Cross the road from stations main exit and walk up the towns main street (Its tree lined with shops) it takes you to a small 'double' town square - walk through these (Past small Angel fountain and church) and turn right, walk a few yards to the bridge and you will see your hotel on the corner, to the right, across the river/road.)
Hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and central but is laid out in an odd way - reception/entrance area and rooms. The rooms themselves do not have the - very comfortable - beds facing the large TV (With about 8 English speaking channels) but are sideways on to it which is a very, very puzzling (and frankly stupid) layout. But they have made the rooms long and narrow which now means they are probably stuck with this design. There is also the entrance onto a balcony but no balcony which is rather a shame as the view form my room was excellent.
The breakfast was the simple self service cheese, bread, cereals, fruits type of affair but tasted very good.
Over all I was very happy with my stay and would return without hesitation.
Hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and central but is laid out in an odd way - reception/entrance area and rooms. The rooms themselves do not have the - very comfortable - beds facing the large TV (With about 8 English speaking channels) but are sideways on to it which is a very, very puzzling (and frankly stupid) layout. But they have made the rooms long and narrow which now means they are probably stuck with this design. There is also the entrance onto a balcony but no balcony which is rather a shame as the view form my room was excellent.

Fair value for money in Swiss terms
A somewhat odd experience. The hotel is dated in its feel, and the rooms are pretty spartan. However, these are also commensurate with what the hotel costs relative to most other Swiss hotels. Under the circumstances, then, the hotel was a fair deal (in Swiss terms). (The one oddity was being asked to pay upon arrival, which gave a curious low-rent feel to the place, as if they didn't trust us to not disappear without paying.)
