The facility is dirty and has a weird smell. There isnt someone at the front desk the whole time they are always in a back room. The lock on my door didnt work so I had to rely on the swing latch. Safety concern. I wont be staying here again

They had a room for us. There was shelter. The towels felt like Brillo pads. Didn’t really wanna take my shoes off. What you would call bedding was pretty much a joke. No one in the square block radius respects the quiet hours, let alone inside the building, and I was unable to get any sleep. Smelled like weed. The “breakfast” is not. It’s a vending machine muffin and diy oatmeal. The check in lady was kind.

The room cleanliness could have been better! Was not told there was not a hair dryer in the room. The latch lock on the door was not latching properly which left me feeling unsafe the first night and second night, when I arrived, there was a man that I thought worked there since he directed me to more parking in the back, then when I went to check in he was speaking to the front desk clerk she was asking me questions I preferred not to answer aloud but I tried to speak quietly. I had to go put my parking pass in my car and was told security was outside walking around, I did not see security either night! I made my way to the elevator and just when the doors were about to close he got into the elevator and asked me for my personal info and asked me if I needed help to my room I again told him no then he shouted out his room number and when I looked back he was gone! The next morning there was coffee and blueberry muffins to grab yeah coffee was not good so I didn’t bother with anything else. I mentioned to the clerk in the morning that someone was smoking in there room he said he didn’t smell anything but when you might get a contact high walking down the hall yeah you can smell it! The air conditioner was a waist of time. The second night I just hoped the dude from the previous night wasn’t there! I was there to be close to the hospital it was short notice I hope next time I’m able to pick wiser.

Our room was not cleaned and we were checking in at 6:30pm at night. The front desk had multiple people waiting due to the same issue and one person said that there were no sheets on their beds and handed them a set to put on themselves. We cancelled and went somewhere else.

The room lacked nightstands and dishes. In earlier stays, there were always pots, pans, and dishes available. This is my second stay at Extended Stay in the past six months, and I’m disappointed that these basic amenities are missing. I’m not sure what has changed with the chain.

It was clean. The bed was made with crisp white sheets and pillows. The room warmed up fast. It was a cold and rainy night. We had our mini golden doodle with us. Our dog “Dude” just loved it. The next morning I called the front desk and the room phone wasn’t working. He said he would send maintenance up to fix it. He was there in just a couple of minutes He was polite and friendly. Later we went downstairs. We were checking out and Steven was at the front desk. He was very kind and explained to me to watch my account and my deposit should be back in my account in about 2-3 days from that day.

When I asked the front desk they indicated they had no King rooms when I booked and the third party booking was supposed to let me know, which they never did. If you do plan to stay there the only thing in the rooms are 2 little bars of soap and 2 plastic cups so if you need shampoo you have to ask the front desk.

Unsanitary, dirty, safety hazards. Towels had hair on them. We needed some extra outlets, so I wanted to use the one the TV was plugged into. It was missing an outlet cover. While gaining access, lots of trash behind the dresser where the TV sat..The TV remote battery cover was broken and would not stay on. We had to hold the cover on when using the remote. This extended stay has many transients. Spilled liquid on elevator. Smell of smoke in elevator.

I have used this brand in different locations in California. The moment I arrived I was greeted by Shardei (spelling) who I like to say in this industry a true professional…she checked me in and answered all my questions but more importantly is welcoming & friendly. Upon entering my Suite I found it clean and comfortable. My two small dogs approved the space of my suite for the area to walk around. I found the front desk staff from Angela (graveyard) & Steven (day) along with Shardei (swing) all to be an asset to this property and company. My King size bed is very comfortable and I slept soundly! A couple of items that would’ve made this suite perfect is a “love seat” couch or an Ottoman for the large comfy chair in the room.
I called down to the front desk to request the “Kitchen-Set” all the necessary items for cooking & serving. The only reason why I scored this property 4-Stars was that the cooking pan was literally “nasty”…I opened the Kitchen set and the first thing I noticed was the Teflon cooking pan had seen better days. Unfortunately, the surface was all scratched up and looked burnt. I had intended to cook that night but decided to wait and I thank Steven who issued me an almost new scratch less cooking pan the next morning. Sunday night I finally cooked my Beef Stroganoff with perfection! I found this property so comfortable that I extended my stay. A job well done to the staff at the Extended Stay America Roseville CA. Lots of hotels in the area were sold out due to hwy closure. I needed a place to stay last minute. Cons; Rooms are outdated, there was a smell, hair found in bed sheets. Pros; Staff was extremely nice and welcoming.

There were NO amenities in the room, not even a coffee maker. For an extended stay place, that seemed rather odd. Additionally, the hotel does not have an ice machine. When we asked at the front desk, we were told that there's an ice tray in the freezer in the room. However, we would have to fill the ice tray with water and wait for it to freeze in order to have ice. We were hoping to have a cold drink upon arrival, but instead we had a lukewarm drink. Was very disappointed overall and would not recommend this place at all.

Employee working check in was very friendly. The hotel has a freeway on one side and the other side has an emergency blue phone that made announcements all night long every few minutes. The blue phone was louder than the wall A/C. I walked next door to get some drinks at the gas station and there were a lot of homeless people next to the hotel side entrance and up and down the street. The hotel is pet friendly so the elevator, and room, had very strong smells of dogs. The elevator smelled like a litter box.

Worst stay this place was dump took three hours to check in due to rooms not being cleaned and ready stay waiting in the parking lot in almost 90 degrees and after finally checking in and going to room it was still dirty the floor was sticky dust build up on the lamps musty smell a dirty spatula in between the counter and fridge old appliances horrible breakfast no pool or gym facilities people ding dong ditching the people staying on upper floor had no respect a police recording device that was monitoring the abandoned building next door went off in the middle of the night the only good thing was we were only staying one night of the 12 year doing the event we attended this had to be top 2 the worst hotels

This hotel was so gross. Right when I walked in there was a slap in the face smell of musky wet mildew. It seemed so stale in my room like no one really stayed in there. The remote on the tv barely worked as well. I had to press and hold the button I wanted until it worked. Took about 20 minutes to flip through 10 channels. Will never stay here again.

They should not advertise breakfast. Prepackaged muffins and multigrain bars may be a snack but are not breakfast. No fruit or anything else except coffee. We had spiders in sink and bathtub. Refrig kept freezing food. Staff was very nice. Convenient location.

We arrived around 9:15 PM on May 16th, but I had forgotten my physical driver’s license. I presented both a digital version via the DMV-authorized app and a soft copy of my license, but your front desk staff refused to check us in. Despite explaining our situation, no effort was made to help.
We had driven over 200 miles, and out of desperation, we even visited the Roseville Police Station seeking assistance. Ultimately, we had no choice but to drive back home another 200 miles just to retrieve the physical ID. My 11-year-old son had to spend the night in the car during this exhausting and distressing ordeal.
The next day, I visited several nearby hotels, all of which confirmed they would have accepted digital or soft copy IDs under similar circumstances. This raised concerns about whether this strict policy is specific to Extended Stay America or simply poor judgment at your front desk.

I paid $125 for a room through Expedia. When I reached your location, a security guard was managing the desk and he could not pull up my reservation, I paid another $104 directly to your hotel. He assured me I would get my Expedia credit. That did not happen. Expedia has always worked well for me, this is the second time I've been double charged because a hotel does not know how to transfer my reservations from you directly to them. I pay less going directly to them anyway, if I need to deal with this, I'll just stop using Expedia
