Very disappointed in the apartment. The online photos did NOT reflect the apartment we stayed in. Apt was very outdated and basic. Needs painting and styling. Shower was unclean with black grout. The location and views were the best feature. No leniency in check out time. I called to request a late check out time for the Sunday because we did not arrive until 10pm in the Friday but was told we had to pay $50 for an extra hour and half. Nowhere to leave our bags when we did leave. Would not stay here again.

The view was great.

The place is not that clean. There were cockroaches in the kitchen that we discovered the first night (we stayed two nights.) My kids then also directed me to a large dead cockroach by the patio door. The furniture had stains on it. The carpet was dirty. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

There is covered garage parking but our spot was extremely tight to get in and out of. Very annoying. I had to climb in through the passenger side to drive it.

Nice place nice location. Lovely large apartment heaps of space. Advertised as access to a pool but there is the sea pool down the road.
Incredibly noisy but it was Australia Day weekend. Cafe over the road had music unbelievably loud.

Read some very negative reviews of this property. Not justified in my books. It's not luxury accommodation and its furniture, fittings and amenities, while functional, are a bit dated and could use refreshing/replacement... but it's family friendly and close to the beach. My family enjoyed the stay and would book again.

Carpet was filthy, the couch had a huge rip, paint was peeling off the ceiling in both bathrooms, molding was left unfinished with sharp edges at the entrance of the kitchen, bathroom tile had mildew- overall the apartment was filthy. I wouldn’t stay there again due to the condition of the apartment. The location was great.

Excellent location for Coogee Beach and surrounds

Excellent location directly across a quieter side street from Coogee Beach. We were in a 3 bed 2 bath unit with a good sized porch. The apartment was everything we needed, extremely comfortable with excellent A/C, and had a well-appointed kitchen.
I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 as a few smaller (but relevant) aspects of the apartment were in strong need of a change, including 1) ripped curtains and a broken (and sharp) curtain hook that likely was the culprit, 2) thin windows that didn't dampen outside sound much, and 3) neighbors partying outside well into the night.

The apartment is in desperate need of a refurbishment. There is nothing positive to say other than the view. The air conditioner had no cooling ability and ran on an automatic timer this meant when we went out, it turned off and we came back again to a stiflingly, hot apartment it also made for a very uncomfortably hot night because it kept turning off. When we called reception, to advise them of the issue. Their resolution was we could try and find a better hotel elsewhere. You are lucky that you are reading these reviews. Do not waste your money, do your research and do not stay here.

Big rooms, living area and kitchen, good location. The apartment is old, the carpet needs to be replaced, just very tired. There was construction work underway, including early on a Saturday morning. Check-in is only possible between 2pm and 4pm. Otherwise, you need to use a safe located outside and supply credit card information which seems pointless when they provide no services or minibars.

Great family size apartment located right across the road from the patrolled beach, cafes and restaurants. There was also secure parking under the building. Although we didn't use the local buses, there looked to be frequent services to Bondi, Randwick and the city. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a family beach holiday.

Beautiful apartment and size but absolutely no sound proof as stated and may as well slept in the street. The windows felt like there was no glass in them. Room 806 view very restricted to the beach view as promised due to huge trees in front .
Never slept for 4 nights.

We found this property very nice. It was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and amenities were provided - shampoo, conditioner, soap, tea, coffee and sugar. We would have liked milk as well however there is a convenience shop just across the road. The property is also very close to Coogee Beach and lots of dining venues. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again ourselves for sure.

Wonderful sized apartment but the lifts were out of service all weekend. Very annoying when you are lugging a baby and pusher up and down stairs. Also rubbish when we left the apartment had to walked back out on the street before you could get access.

Dirty unit and dangerous lift

As previously advised the unit was not clean with rubbish under the beds and lounge as well as between the lounge cushions. The curtains were dirty and falling off their tracks. No mattress toppers, beds were hard, towels were worn out, fridge leaked water over the floor, wifi didnt work, TV chanels not working, shower dripped, light bulbs blown, had to get the maintenance guy in, We got stuck in lift no. 1 and had to call the lift company.
The permanent residents said that they never use lift 1 because it always breaks down. This is the worst stay I have booked through Hotels.com

Beware!!! Disgusting and very unclean! Location and layout of place were the only positives. There were what appeared to be white and blood bodily fluid on the bottom of the bed, I had to clean the bathtub from grime using laundry detergent before we could use it.
All outdoor chairs were disintegrated and torn to shredded. Couches inside had stains.
Brown water stains on wall and dust a cm thick on the baseboards.
Oven door broken and while it works heat pours out as it doesn’t close properly.
Carpets are revolting and appear 20 years old.

Internet doesn’t connect at all.

We tried to call the service desk over the weekend every day and while they took a ticket and promised someone would call us back, we never heard back.

We

If you are going to try it, be sure to have a few alcoholic beverages to help lower your senses and put on some beer goggles.

We loved the location, view and spacious living area. The beds were really comfortable and the living room was tastefully furnished and comfortable.

Constructive feedback:
The ensuite sink was cracked. Some of the dishes and glasses in the kitchen cupboards were not fully clean and the dishwasher hadn’t been unpacked when we arrived.

Overall a great place to stay, it’s in a fantastic location and we would happily stay there again. Thank you.

Staff were excellent. Room was below par and we will not be staying there again. The carpet was drenched and the whole apartment smelt of wet carpet. We went out on Saturday night and when we got back one of the blinds in the lounge had fallen completely off and was lying on the floor. The blinds in the living area were putrid. One window in the second bedroom had wind coming through it even though you could not open the window. The apartment itself was well appointed but in desperate need of maintenance and repair. The air con was not working correctly and we had to sleep with our door shut because of the smell of the carpet. Our sister was 2 floors above us, however we had to walk right around the outside of the building to get to her floor because the lift would not allow us up to level 6. We stayed in apartment 501 and notwithstanding the above the view from the living room was spectacular however we could not stay in the room because the smell was overwhelming and made us feel quite sick. In our opinion this apartment is not habitable and we should have been given a complete refund. To say we are very disappointed is an understatement, for the amount charged it should have been better. We appreciate the problems associated with the current heavy rain, but, notwithstanding this the apartment is under maintained and as previously pointed out, not habitable

Excellent location with very easy access to the beach and main street. Transport to the city centre is also very easy. The size of the apartment was fantastic and it was well appointed. It could have been cleaner (table sticky, quite dusty behind beds etc which was noticed when plugging in chargers etc) - looked like only a surface clean was done. The condition of the apartment was generally quite worn i.e lots of marks on walls, carpets, tiles, some light fittings broken, fridge was unstable and dishwasher did not wash properly. Apartment has fantastic potential but does need a refurb. Regardless we had a great time as Coogee is a beautiful area

This property is in a fantastic location but - don't expect to get any sleep, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. The noise from the restaurant sharing a wall with you, and from other similar places close by, is horrendous. They have double glazed the master bedroom which reduces it marginally but the noise in the second bedroom is unbearable and is impossible to sleep through. The partying stops about 2am, then the rubbish trucks wake you at 4.22am - all in all about 2 hours sleep. We had to buy ear plugs just to survive another night. This happened both nights we stayed which were Friday and Saturday nights.

Good location but the apartment is not worth the price. It had broken bed slats on one of the beds (made the bed unusable). This was reported but not fixed or even followed up on. The room was very noisy as the seals on the windows have worn down leaving a gap for more noise and breeze.

Had a sea view last time and the sea side of the building is much quieter
Road very noisy and also could hear a lot of noise and talking from other units in the main bedroom
Unable to open windows in the bedrooms which we could do in the unit we had last time
Wifi did not work at all while we are were staying even though we communicated this many times and were reassured it would be fixed
Last stay we bought salt and pepper, alfoil etc only to find it was provided, this time no essentials provided so needed to go out and purchase

The size of the apartment was a surprise and the balcony area was also huge. The beds were really comfortable. The property was so close to the beach and plenty nearby restaurants. I liked the off street parking, size of the apartment and balcony.
The place could use abit more of a clean. Because I had a baby I was often on the floor and noticed how dirty it was at a low level.
Some of the switches in the apartment need replacing, I felt a little unsafe using them. The window on the beach side needs fixing and the aircon switches need relabelling.
I think the bins should be apart of the cleaner problem not us. This was a downside for me.
Overall pretty good though.

This property is in an excellent location for all of the entertainment offered in Coogee. Clean, tidy and a few minor issues which were dealt with immediately by Reception staff. We had a seaside apartment and would recommend this property to anyone wishing a coastal holiday.

There are better options in the area. The only redeeming feature is the position but there are other options in the area.

Clean and friendly. Top location - just can't get enough of the views across the bay. Buses at the door and shopping and entertainment in the local area.
