Our room had everything we needed for our 5-night stay. I was able to purchase food at the market just steps away from the hotel, & the kitchen had all the basics for preparing meals. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, & it's a short bus ride away from Coogee Beach. A 5-minute walk to the light rail puts you on the line going directly to Darling Harbour & other sights. We arrived early, & they were able to hold our bags for us while we waited for our room. The room was ready right on time. They accommodated us when we requested an extra night. No complaints at all about our stay!

The room was clean and every morning I had my bed done and new towels. I was impressed by how they managed to use space so efficiently. The room is not a big one per se, but I could prepare my breakfast and eat it in the balcony with the view of the sea in the distance, do yoga every morning in the room, and wash and dry my clothes! The location is also unbeatable: plenty of buses and the light rail takes you everywhere. Plenty of shopping and restaurants and fast/street food makes it very easy to eat and enjoy yourself. The check in and out process were super efficient too and the internet was quite reliable. Highly recommended!!!

The area around the hotel is great, with a shopping center, grocery store and a variety of shops and restaurants for last minute travel needs! It’s also walking distance to the bus and light rail. It’s not the typical hotel experience because the front desk isn’t staffed 24 hours, and it’s more like an apartment rental than a hotel. The room also could use new carpet, but it’s in very good shape otherwise. Amazing iron - they invested in quality appliances upfront

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. This so-called hotel is falsely advertised as a 4-star property on Google, which is incredibly misleading. The building is old and poorly repurposed, with little to no effort made to ensure comfort or cleanliness.

Our room was dusty and infested with bed bugs — we saw them crawling on the pillows and blankets. The carpet was extremely worn and smelled mouldy.

Most concerning was the door, which was paper-thin and used a flimsy interior-style lock — the kind typically found on bedroom doors inside a house. We felt so unsafe that we had to barricade the door with a table at night just to feel somewhat secure.

Do not waste your money here.

Staff were extremely helpful when I found that the microwave was broken & swapped it out 20mins before reception closed so I could make myself dinner. Staff went above & beyond when I asked for help including when I couldn't shut the metal balcony shutter doors. The room we were allocated had an area where the balcony ceiling was obviously affected by significant damp which needs addressing. The glass balcony door lock didn't lock & we were on the 5th floor but with an older child this didn't bother me. Security measures could be better on the room door with only a push button to secure the room on the door (no chain or catch, no swipe card access, no peep hole). Obvious that the external air con unit is due for a clean also. The outdoor clothing rack on the balcony, cooking facilities and included washing machine are HUGE benefits being so close to the beaches, UNSW and hospitals. Parking on site is also great.

Arrival was unremarkable. When an emergency happened at the hotel. There was no representation from hotel, no one helping relocate people. No communication and not answering phone. Very short and rude when did actually reach the person. Difficult to reach the person available 24/7. Emergency services had to direct people where to go. Hotel staff never followed up. Thankfully Expedia helped and relocated to another hotel.

Overall we had a great stay with a perfect location and property.
Two comments would be we had 5 guests booked in with only bedding for 4 on arrival. This was soon rectified with bedding provided for the foldout sofa bed. The second would be after having the room cleaned only 3 towels were left with additional dropped off at 8pm the night.
These are just minor comments mentioned to help improve the business.

I found it very difficult to get a park long enough to check in and parking was difficult. Thankfully a very helpful staff member forewarned me that parking was only 1.9m before I came and so I brought the right vehicle.
I found it difficult to work out the entry to reception the first time. The balcony door was broken and couldn’t be locked on my room so I worried about security when I was away.
The rooms were clean and restocked, (tea etc) and room very comfortable. The location was walking distance to racecourse for function which was helpful.

We found the customer service, particularly of management to be very poor.

Be advised that while it says ‘pay at property’, they will charge your card in full (not a hold) 3 days prior. We challenged this as we had intended to pay on another card at check in. We were refunded but it took a lot of follow up and were not refunded the service fee.

We also had to cancel our last night with several days notice. We could not get a response from management about this for 2 days and when we finally did, they wanted to charge us more for the reduced nights despite appropriate notice being given. They also lied about trying to contact us and that my husband had agreed to pay more for less nights.

This was all very stressful as we were staying with them while I was hospitalised and they had no empathy for this.

While we had a great experience with Nathan on the weekend and the accomodation itself was perfect, we certainly left feeling very disappointed in the experience overall.

Great location was overshadowed by poor service and delapidated fixtures. The shower leaked, many doors were difficult to open, the lighting was poorly fixed or unsafely plugged in. A family booking for two rooms was provided on 2 different floors with no flexibility to change rooms to the same floor. Parking was very narrow and expensive, and the elevators barely wide enough to fit a pram or wheelchair. Next time we’ll stay somewhere else.

I expected a clean modern mini-apartment delivered in the usual professional manner. I was keen to add a car space to my booking. I phoned for much of the afternoon, including to the chain's central number, but this property could not be contacted, and did not return the call, so I had to park on the street, a long distance from the property. The doors to the room do not automatically lock on the way out. Returning to my room in the middle of the night, there was a problem with the property's front door, and they had hired a very nice young man to stand in the foyer and point people to a way they could enter around the corner. He was there on a long, all night shift, and had no toilet he could use. I had to let him come and use mine! We got the wrong door, which was obviously unlocked because of the earlier problem, and accidentally walked in on someone who had left their door open. I think a lot of people mistakenly leave their door open in this way, which unsafe. The bathroom was too pokey to get around. There was no milk for tea and coffee, and various design flaws.The bedding was comfortable, at least, but enough basic, easily avoidable flaws to make this place disappointing compared to what it advertises.

The property is excellently located.and 2 or 3 years ago would have been lovely to stay in. Unfortunately it hasnt been cleaned properly in that whole time- the carpet and furniture are stained and grimy, and pigeons have taken residence on the balconies making it impossible to open the windows. There are no curtains on the windows which is just odd. Washing machine and dishwasher sound like a jet plane taking off.
Overall would be much better if they just gave the place a proper clean!!

Top spot to stay in Randwick.

Stayed for 6 nights. Great price for a studio unit with cooking facilities and washing machine. Unit was small but comfortable for 2. Would be a squash for 3 adults. Nice enclosed balcony which we didn’t use because the weather was wet and cold. Staff friendly and helpful. Housekeeping missed a couple of things eg no bath mat. Location is great -on bus route and shopping centre next door. Plenty of eating places available close by. Can’t comment on car parking as not used.

Only stay there if you have to be in Randwick

First, I checked in and a cockroach greeted me in the bathroom and scuttled away under the washing machine. I went downstairs to ask about it and the lady gave me can of bug spray and said that the cockroach was from the outside and that the building had regular pest control.
Secondly, the hot water ran out after 5 minutes on both nights I tried to take a shower at around 9:30pm. I did not try again, but showered in the morning afterwards.
The daily housekeeping made the bed and replenishes towels but does not wash your dishes nor clean the floor.

Perfect place, if you arrive and plan to use public transportation. Nice apartment with great service at prime location in Randwick. If you have a car, stay away!!! It will cost at least $35 a day to park it (there is nowhere to park for more than two hours in the area). On top of that, you will have to drive up three floors through a very narrow ramp that required 3-point maneuvers at each turn. A costly nightmare!

This is a \"bare bones\" hotel with no amenities, such as a restaurant. The room was small but did have a kitchenette and fridge. The bathroom is very small. Anyone who is overweight would have trouble getting into the shower. I felt that the price was high for a mediocre hotel.

This was very good value for money for a one bedroom apartment. It has all the amenities you need, it’s right in the middle of Randwick main street but also super quiet. It had a huge balcony (no view though as wedged up against a building), and a large living area plus a washer and dryer. It was very clean. The bathroom is quite narrow but very new. The only complaint we had was the king bed was two singles pushed together and they had a huge difference in height between the two beds, kind of lumpy. But it wasn’t so bad, so we didn’t even mention it until checking out and the staff said they would investigate it ASAP. But if you want to cuddle up together, make sure you check for that when you get there :)

Hot water ran out after 5 minutes. Family of 5, we had to have 3 showers at night for 4 mins max before hot water ran out and 2 showers in the morning for no more than 5 mins each. No continuous hot water so once hot water ran out it was at least 1/2 hr wait till it heated up again.

No blankets or pillows supplied for fold out sofa bed. We had to use the 1 spare blanket in the apartment even though there was only 1 blanket on each bed.

Poor room design and step into bathroom was a health hazard.

We enjoyed the experience. The hotel staff were kind and helpful, and assisted us in getting to our room, despite arriving in Sydney late at night.
The room was more than we could ask for. It was clean, and appropriately sized. The whole building was very quiet and peaceful.
We appreciated that there were many appliances in the room (eg. iron + board, microwave, stove, oven, kettle, coffee makers + pods, hair dryer, etc.) which made our stay comfortable.

We would gladly stay there again, and also recommend the hotel to other friends.
