Our stay was truly amazing. The views during the day and at sunset are idyllic. The staff provided the perfect level of service and the food on property was so good. We spent our first day at the winery which was excellent. And our second day enjoying the sun and walking to nearby properties. I’d highly recommend this destination for couples or families.

Very clean room. Beautiful views. Quiet and safe area. Excellent food and wine tasting tour. Beautiful pool but too cold outside during our stay to use. Definitely recommend and look forward to returning someday. Next time will stay more days at this hotel.

Weird that breakfast and lunch were only served inside. Staff could have done a better job o. The service side. They were efficient and professional but the male staff members don’t smile ever. Seem a bit on the grumpy side.

Under the Tuscan Sun

This was my family’s favorite hotel during our trip to Italy. The room was luxurious and spacious, the service was top notch and the pool was an added bonus. We loved the breakfast options and the dinner served at the hotel was one of our favorites of the entire vacation. We had a rental car so were able to take advantage of the proximity to Montepulciano and Pienza. The wine served at the hotel from the on-site winery was very good. We can’t wait to go back!!

Absolutely beautiful Tuscan hotel that was just a short drive to Montepulciano. Food was fabulous, pool was enjoyable and views were breathtaking. We missed the turn coming in, the manager saw us and guided us back to the property, and that was just the beginning of his wonderful hospitality. He had a dinner table out in the garden set for us each night, and even delivered drinks to us down at the pool. Already trying to plan a trip back!

It takes a bit of a drive to get into the property from one the more bigger roads but it is what makes this place so charming and beautiful among stretches of vineyards. The countryside was beautiful and the days were sunny with ideal temperatures. They have a gorgeous swimming pool which should make it even better during summer, though I can’t complain because the off season prices we got were a steal. Words cannot describe how wonderful this place is.

The property reminded me of the movies I’ve seen about Tuscany. The property is a working farm producing olive oil and incredible wine. The breakfast was delicious and dinners sensational. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We’ve traveled a lot and this was the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. This is a great small hotel which is in a vineyard property. The place was upgraded a year ago and it is first class. Guests can have all meals there and can also have wine tasting of the vineyard’s various wines. There is a pool and bike rentals. The location is close to many Tuscany towns allowing day trips to several. The staff were delightful.

The staff was fantastic! The property was beautiful beyond words. After a visit to Rome, this location offered space and quiet with beautiful vineyards and hillsides and olive groves. The breakfast and the dinner here were wonderful. The wines from Fattoria del Cerro were excellent. It was a short trip to the city of Montepulciano Our stay at this property was the highlight of an overall wonderful vacation. My one suggestion would be to make it clear to anyone booking this porperty that it is in Aquaviva, not the city of Montepulciano.

This facility has a good location within 20 min drive of several small hill towns including Montepulciano, so it would make a good “base camp” for day trips. The room was clean. The building is nicely done. Personally, I was let down by the service and lack of attention to details (like the grass around the Cypress trees leading up to the building was not trimmed and about a foot high). This hotel could be so much more, with just a little more attention to the details.

We loved our stay at Relais Villa Grazianella at the end of October. The property was breathtaking, the room large and comfy, the food wonderful. But the best part was the service! Servio the property manager, Alba the hostess at breakfast and dinner were both superb! They really were the kindest hosts. The property is about 15 minutes to Montepulciano, but it is so beautiful and relaxing - I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. We ate dinner there every night and were never disappointed. Plus their wine is so good! I would go back often for a romantic/relaxing weekend if I lived in Italy!

We loved everything about this villa! It was in the country but not far from the charming town of Montepulciano. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the sheets heavenly. Four of chose to have dinner at the villa instead of driving into town and we were given a table outside overlooking the countryside. Dinner was delicious - fresh pasta and perfectly prepared beef accompanied by wines from the region. Highly recommend!

In our 13 days Italy trip, this is the best two day stay in this wine country. We are little bit late than limit but manager helped us and accommodated. Dinner both days are very good and wine is good too. Driving to this place is recommended as all the hill towns needs to be driven from this place. We wished we stayed for another night. Unbelievable service, great location and food!

My wife and I stayed here 2 of our 8 nights in Tuscany. The property is in an idyllic setting overlooking Montalpulciano (about 6 km by car on the back roads). The facilities are modern and comfortable, although Wi-Fi service is spotty (not a deal breaker). We ate in their restaurant the first night and both ordered different beef dishes. The steak is served rare on a sizzling platter and you let it continue to cook on your table until it is done to your liking. I like mine rare and it arrived just like I prefer it. Their wines are delicious and there is something available for every budget. There was a freak storm the second night which made the property operate on reserve power for 3-4 hours and knocked out the hot water service. The hotel staff basically opened the wine bar to the guests and we drank anything we wanted all night for free. The power turned back on fully about 8 PM and they called their full restaurant staff in to make dinner for everyone. They went out of their way to make the most of a “bad” situation, even though it wasn’t all that bad. The breakfast choices are wide and fresh. The rooms are large and airy. Again, the staff made this property our favorite in Tuscany, and not just because of the free wine. They really went out of their way to make everyone’s stay pleasant.

Wonderful Stay at Relais Villa Grazianella!

The physical setting of the property is beautiful and in a tranquil environment (it is probably a good idea to use GPS to find the property if you are not familiar with the area).The property was in excellent condition and exceeded expectations! The room was spacious, nicely appointed, and very comfortable. Sevario (sp?) was extremely helpful with all aspects of our visit (check-in, orientation, winery tour, dinners on the premises, etc.). The meals on the premises were outstanding (dinner is reasonably priced and breakfast was included with the room). My wife and I sampled various wines produced on the neighboring property; they were excellent and we had several bottles sent back home to the U.S. - they arrived shortly after we returned! Overall, a fantastic stay! Ciao!

The Relais Via Grazianella is one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I've ever been to. There is nothing to compare to sitting on the veranda at the end of the day with a glass of the vineyard's wine, watching the sun go down over the valley below. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is marvellous. I would recommend it to anyone.
