The photos of the motel on line are not the pictures for the motel. There was mold in our room, several walls in the facility were crumbling, the hallway smelled of mold, cigarette smoke and weed. The breakfast looked horrible and would not attempt to eat. I will never stay at this location. Definitely a horrible experience.

Let me just say be weary, I booked this location for my mom because she was traveling and the front desk lady Rose was very nice. Rose checked her in her room. My mom went to check the room and it was a mess. First off, she was suppose to have a room with a double bed instead they gave her a king bed that was connected to another room and there was trash left there. The rug was pulled away from the wall and the shower was disgusting and it did not operate correctly. The room looked like it needed to be clean again. She spoke with manager Vipul and he apologized for the room and would refund her the money back when she check out the next day. So the next day came and she went to check out and she spoke with Tabitha who then called the manager Vipul and he acts as if he doesn’t recall saying it. This was completely unacceptable best believe I will be contacting wyndham corporate. So if you gonna stay just be aware.

This is the third time I have stayed at a wyndham hotel in the last few months and they definitely have gone downhill. room was pretty disgusting. "Clean" washcloths in the bathroom had dirt or some other substance on them. Bathtub had dirt or mud all over the side of it. Shower only put out scalding hot water.

It was the worst hotel I have ever booked. I left and went to another hotel even though I couldn’t get a refund. The entire hotel smells like a moldy, medley, old ashtray that has not been cleaned in 4 decades. I had to leave because I couldn’t breathe anymore. It was nasty! Stay away from this place. Hotel.com should be ashamed of itself for having a no refund policy on this kind of property because you have no idea how bad it is until you get there. I will never use the website again because there’s no advantage for using it.

I was going to stay 2 nights but checked out first thing in morning. The first room was smoked in , not clean and the plumbing under the vanity was not up to code. The door needed a shove to close properly.
The front staff was understanding and we got a little better room but on the second floor.
There is no security doors to get in the hallways with key. The fire doors did not shut properly and trash barrels were in corridors .I assume to catch rain water or plumbing leaks.
The lobby carport had been badly damaged recently. Outside looked bad but nothing loose or laying about but the plaster in the hallway inside had fallen from a support column was on the floor.
The outside of all entrance doors had trash and cigarette butts.
This was by far the worst rooms and lack of security of any hotel I have ever booked thru Hotels.com Baymount as a brand has dropped the ball with this property.

Two Problems

1. When you sleep on the bed in the room I was given, you would see your feet instead of the TV. It was already in trendelenburg position. I told the front desk about it but seriously? Common sense of whoever cleaned the room should have told someone or fixed the problem before any guest arrive.

2. I paid online when I booked but when I checked in, I was charged again. I brought it up to the front desk and I was just told to resolve it online.

Don’t stay here! Disgusting! Got in late after hours of driving and didn’t pay too much attention to the room, morning came and finally got a good look. Glass on the bathroom floor, and stains on side of bed, and a bed bug! Talk to the office just to inform them and was told I would receive a refund after 1pm when the manager comes in- I come in and the manager and the front dest lady are going over two other refunds due to bugs. The manager walked off when the front dest lady started talking to me but I needed his approval. She went back to get him and he basically made her be the messenger about 3 times before I insisted on talking to HIM directly. He proceeded to tell me that I would get a refund in a week if the pest control came out and found bugs- I tried to explain to him that I was already told I would receive a refund after showing picture of the state of the room. He yelled and told me I’m now not getting a refund at all- I asked him to allow me to speak and he just walked off. I waited and asked her to go get him again. He came back out yelling and cussing at me saying to get out and I get no refund. I told him to have a better day and it’s sad to see a manager acting like that then was yelled and cussed at some more before walking out.
also I didn’t even expect a refund when I went to the front desk in the morning to show the pictures, I just wanted to make them aware of the rooms state, they offered the refund!

First Room #152: couldn't find TV remote control, turn tv on with button at bottom of FlatScreen but do nothing else; looked in all drawers & behind furniture. Call desk, no answer; walk all way across facility Register Person said 'will find another remote'. Remote1 not very user-friendly, then "Baymont SignIn screen' asks for password that was not provided. Back To Desk 2nd time-he comes can't seem to figure out, gets Remote2 more issues. RegisterPerson says "move you to Room162" after he tested TV. Room162: had to find Fridge Cord behind furniture to plug in - Trash & dirty on all cables/cords behind Cabinet!! Carpeting & hard-surface flooring very dirty-feet were black next morning & light colored socks were discolored & felt sticky. Facility entry doors were not locked-never had to use our Key Card coming inside, only use Card to enter both Rooms!! Notice posted at Reception Desk about work on Pool & Conference Room; many obvious spots thru out Facility that much updating needs to be done, but that is not a reason to neglect daily housekeeping -- kind of explains why the online Room Rate was lower than other area Lodgings. The bed was comfortable. This Facility definitely was not up to the standards we usually find at a Baymont location.

Upon arrival, door keys that were given did not work. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and had maintenance assist immediately. The door had to be reprogrammed.

The phone in the room did not work, and maintenance did not fix it.

All of the lamps in the room were unplugged when we arrived.

The toilet was absolutely disgusting and had not been cleaned.

The remote to the tv was missing a battery

Upon arrival we were informed the pool was not available and there was no elevator to the 2nd floor, so we had to carry everything from our car to our room. Then upon entering our room, we noticed the phone was not working, there was no remote for the tv and there were empty cans left from the previous visitor left under the sink. Then we needed ice so we attempted to get some from a machine near our room, but it didnt work so we had to go back to the other side of the building to get some. When we did find a working ice machine, there was trash stacked near it with bugs flying out of it and a cockroach crawled out from under the ice machine. The breakfast was very limited, the sausage was still frozen...like we had to make it ourselves, so we didnt stay for breakfast and went elsewhere. But the beds were comfortable, that was about it. We would not recommend this location to anyone and will not likely return.

It's one of the dirtiest hotel I've ever been. The paints are peeling and it's all over the floor. The shower is filthy and drain doesn't work. The phone is not working. The hallway could use a LOT of cleaning.
We couldn't eat the breakfast. There were 2 broken boiled eggs that looked like it had been there for weeks. The coffee is terrible. The 2 tiny sausage was cold and old. We didn't touch any of the food provided. The bread looked stale and moldy. Health department should come and checked that hotel.
The staff could use some measure of friendliness.

Took my 3 kids to this hotel and a friend. We rented two rooms and at first they claimed they couldn't find one reservation. Once in my room my 4 year old found a nail on the floor, tiles were coming off the wall, my two year olds feet turned black, I found an unknown sticky spot on the floor, my wife found unknown stains on all bedding, she also found a matted clump of hair in the bedding, and I was able to open the window while it was "locked". My friend went into his room which was not clean so they moved him to a not much cleaner one. This whole process took over an hour to address with front desk as they had to handle another matter from a few other customers so they told us the could not offer a refund due to it being past 15-20 minutes after check in. Front desk refused to check us out until today as that was supposed to be the end of our stay. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

The hotel is large and offers a workout room but it’s also out dated and dirty. The rooms have fleas or gnats that bite.. I was also informed that you can only eat the continental breakfast inside the designated area. Unaware of that, I walked out with food and was immediately stopped by the front desk and told that I was breaking the rules. Good rate but bad service and the hotel is run down.

We stayed here for 1 night to catch the Amtrak train for Chicago the next morning. The lobby was dimly lit and appeared to be under construction. There were cars in the parking lot with broken windows and some looked like they hadn’t moved in months. The side door to the hall way was not secured, anyone could walk in. The window opened and did not have a screen, seemed very unsecure to me. The room looked like it had been renovated with new paint but the thresholds were filthy. The desk chair was ripped up. The entire place smelled of cigarette smoke and foods. We had originally reserved a room there for our trip home, but canceled that reservation as soon as we checked out and booked a different motel.

Rent by the hour. Trap houses have nothing on this. This is the trap. From screaming families in rooms. The smell of mold and old food lingering through the halls. Hookers on the corners. Randoms in the halls. Front desk, man very nice. Signs when entering about cash deposits. Now let’s talk about the room cigarette burns, unusable bathroom with urine stains around the toilet base. We walked in and we walked out never to get a refund. They can keep our money. Enjoy your stay it’s a memorable one.

I got what I paid for as the only goid thing was that it was kinda quiet until someone allowed their young children to run the hallway. And the ice machine didn't work on the side where my room was so I had to walk a few minutes to the other side, round trip, to just get ice.
No breakfast/coffee at 6 a.m. as I had to be at my post by 7.

In my first room, the Toilet Seat was broken. So, I had to be move to another room.
In this room, the Tub/Shower handle was broken off and sitting on the Tub.
So again, I had to be move to another room.
This room was okay for only one night.
The area of the Hotel was alright. It sits right next to the side of the Hwy.

And, most of all. There is "NO" elevators in this Hotel.
You, must be able to walk up the stairs to the second floor.

Upon checking in we were told the elevators were not working. When we got into our room, the bathroom was under construction. The manager put us into another room connected to a heavy smoker. Could not breath tried to go to sleep. Was woken up by heavy smoke. Checked out in the middle of the night. Booked for two night. Stayed a few hours. Told the front desk person we will sleep in the car due to the heavy smoke. The front desk person told us that due to a recent flooding the smoke detectors were not working.

Unclean and reeks of cigarettes

The place is under complete reconstruction. Many of the occupants were long term and were used to living there and super loud. Felt really unsafe the whole time but we checked in super late and couldn't get another hotel. Hotel says non-smoking but reeks of old cigarette use. Parts of the hotel were nice and it seems like the owners are trying to rebuild the hotel. Until that happens, I won't stay there again.

Do not stay here.

When booking, the hotel had a 5.0 rating on Hotel.com with reasonable amenities, and the pictures of the rooms looked great. Upon arrival, the front desk had papers on the check in counter listing all the amenities that they were not going to be done. When we got to the room, we found it was clearly not properly cleaned. Beer bottle cap on the floor, a half drank Red Bull in the fridge, ceiling and walls stained and paint sagging. In the bathroom the toilet was not secured to the floor, the ceiling was hanging, the smoke detector was hanging from the wires. There was no blanket only two sheets to keep you warm at night.

This hotel was not at all what was advertised online. It was dirty, dank, dark, and the hallways reeled of pot smoke as well as cigarette smoke. As I drove by I noticed many rooms full of cleaning supplies with curtains pulled open. The whole place looked unsavory and frankly gave me concerns about the safety of my vehicle and belongings on it overnight. For all of these reasons, I handed my key in immediately and refused to stay. Worst hotel I have ever laid eyes on.

But they got their later than us and their room was on the first floor near the back entrance. There is no way I would have used their shower. It looked like a former crime scene. The hotel staff was super nice though. And the rate of the room was beyond affordable. They did let us sit in the hallway behind the lobby (there was a garden room with tables) and we played cards for a few hours after the show. There was A LOT of foot traffic in the parking lot all night. Back and forth to the gas station. People were trying to get into the hotel when we swiped our cards at the back exit. The parking lot reeked of weed, but I guess a lot of places do now. Our friends heard screaming all night down the hall where we gathered a man and a woman were fighting.

Staff was very friendly. Room had stained sheets, broken towel rack, broken toliet paper holder, messed up bathroom door, and smelled musty.
