I was asked for a CASH deposit, even though I had my Expedia receipt. I did not have cash with me. I did not want to use the Knights Inn ATM. I DID NOT STAY. Given the condition of the lobby, I would not have stayed even without the deposit. I did not see the room. I slept in my car at a rest stop rather than stay there.

Worst Stay Ever Stay Away!!!

Firstly they Refused my paid booking through Hotels.com. Had to rebook with them at 20% more, said new management, could not get $$$ from the portal on line. Asked for Non smoking room, was a smoking room with cigarette burns all over, bed and sheets too. Tv broken, No internet, Door would not lock properly, jammed it shut it with a chair. Next morning and different shift of staff, was told was Hotels.com fault, we called them on no reservations this week. I am sure a third excuse would come the next day too! I do stay in budget motels all the time, but this is the worst in 25 years I have seen! I will say the Denny's next door is great for a meal, just not the Knights Inn!

The hotel was actually cheaper then it was on the website which was good but after we got there we saw why. The room was disgusting, the carpet was sticky and our white socks turned black, there was no coffee and when we got some my boyfriend went to plug the coffee pot in and found someone’s underwear behind the entertainment center which shows that the rooms aren’t cleaned, and there were knats and termites, I will never stay there again. I’ll pay the extra for a better hotel.

Just looking for a place along the route to crash for the evening. Price was in range and never stayed at a Knights Inn prior so gave it a shot. Check in was quick. Staff was friendly, and the hotel is convenient to Interstate. Relatively quiet except for occasional interstate noise or trucks pulling in and out, just okay. Room was a little shabby but okay for sleep.

The good and the very bad.

Pros: the price was very reasonable, the beds were decent, and the room came with a refrigerator and microwave.

Cons: The entire hotel was out of shampoo (how is this possible?) Although I requested a non-smoking room the room still smelled of smoke. And...worst of all...there was a condom on the floor of our room when we walked in. Not exactly what you want to be greeted with after a long day.

My granddaughter (age 5) and I stayed here before heading to Cedar Point in the morning and it was perfect for our needs. Got munchies (and couple cans of beer for grandma) from the convenience store, went swimming, microwaved hot dogs for her and a healthy choice steamer for me, and then settled in to watch the Syfy channel with our bounty before going to sleep.

got to my motel, it was 11 at nite,went to check in, they had no paperwork for me and told me if I wanted a room I would have to pay in cash. this was my first time using expedia and didn't have my paperwork so I had no choice but to pay cash.Since this was my first time I didn't know that I had already paid for the room in advance so I have paid twice for the room and now everyone is basically ignoring me. This has been a terrible experience for me and I am going on vacation in July and will be just going it alone

It was just ok. Good place it you want to just sleep overnight, but don't take your shoes off coz the carpet was filthy and your feet will become black. The top of the TV cabinet needed dusting. There was a dead stink beetle on top of the inside AC after they said the room had been cleaned. Beds are ok if they would buy new pillow. These were lumpy .Unfortunately it was the week end of the water outage, so no coffee and no restaurants. I would attempt to stay there again.....on inspection

Cheap Hotel, You Get What You Pay For

The hotel was right off the highway, but tucked behind a few restaurants. It didn't have proper signage to direct us to it, even at the point of entrance, which was very small & looked like it only went to a Denney's. We drove around a few times to figure out how to get to it.

The front desk person couldn't answer any of my questions about military discounts, shampoo in rooms, etc. Her pat, uninformed answer was \"They don't tell us anything here. You have to call.\" I gave up on asking anything & went to the room. There wasn't any literature or info in the rooms either.

The bed was made, but the sheets were worn through & had make up stains on them. The bathroom counter was clean, but the floors were filthy. It looked like no one had cleaned around the walls & floors for months in the entire room.

In the bathroom area, there was only a bar of soap by the sink & in the shower. No shampoo or anything else was provided. There were a few towels, but not a full amount expected.

Walking on the floors was like walking in a mobile home. It felt as though we might break through & everything else in the room shook when we walked.

We had driven all day from the eastern coast of Maryland to get to Toledo & were very tired. Had it not been so late & had we not been so tired, we would have tried to find another hotel.

We would not return to this hotel.

The outlet feel out of the wall causing my alarm clock to shut down, so it didn't go off.....booked for five nights only stayed three...tv was out for two of those three nights...had to fight for them to reimburse me for the two nights that I didn't even stay. This was horrible ask around....and don't expect expedia to do anything for you either...Will never use expedia our stay at nights inn again.

You definitely get what you pay for.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights as I was in town to see some family and needed a cheaper place to just lay my head down at night. That is pretty much it when it comes to this hotel...a place to lay your head. Great price but you definitely get what you pay for. The room itself needed some serious deep cleaning, new bedding and patchwork here and there. Did not feel comfortable walking on the carpet in my bare feet and just 'put up with' the condition of the shower. They have construction workers living at the hotel and at night, I did not feel safe walking into my room thanks to cat calls...thankfully there are chain locks on the inside of doors. Breakfast is nothing but coffee and donuts (literally), but the hotel itself is in such a convienient location right off 75. Mcdonalds and Dennys are right next door. Not awful or intolerable to sleep here but I would not stay here again...especially if i was on my own.

I have to say that for a low price hotel the beds are in pretty good shape. I have stayed in other higher priced hotels where the beds were in bad need of being replaced. They had sags in the middle or springs starting to push through. These beds were not new but still comfortable. It's also surrounded by trees not just concrete and black top. Plus the rooms walls are thick enough to keep the sound from other rooms down. I was there for 5 day and never once heard the TV from next door.

LIVE AN HOUR AWAY FROM WORK IN SNOWSTORM

I worked at a near-by hospital during the night shift. Snow was 2 inches when leaving the hospital. I wanted a close motel at a great bargain to stay at, since I was scheduled to be on-call that night. On-call staff should be 30 min. away from the hospital. the snow storm was to be at full force by 4-5 pm. was able to find this motel at a great price at a great location for a single, non-smoking room.

Bates Motel- believe reviews!!

We only booked this hotel because it was one if the few left available for our last minute trip! I normally don't listen to bad reviews but I do have to say read and believe!! This place was horrible. I don't think it had been vacuumed since 1982. Under the bed had so much dirt and crumbs it was horrible. The blankets had burn holes in them! Keep in mind it is a non smoking motel as well!!! The people in the room next door sounded like they were coming through our wall! They were banging around so much the walls were shaking!! We left after being there for just 2 hours. The girl at the front desk was accommodating. She did ask if we wanted to be moved and she was going to look into the banging, but we had had enough. Would never step foot in here again. Will avoid that whole area altogether!!!

Holy Toledo!

Whoever has written a positive review of this place must be related to the owner. Brittany, the clerk, was very pleasant and tried to help, but she was there ALONE and there was really no remedying the filth. We walked into the room to the smell of dampness, smoke, dense bathroom floral air freshener and garbage. The reason for the smell was immediately clear: unclean sheets pulled up, dirt on walls, coffee grinds, filthy carpet, actual garbage under beds,etc. The sheets were dirty, but the fleece blankets were unimaginable--holes, aged, stained, torn, dirty--not fit for a dog. Brittany offered us another room, embarrassed by the room's condition. She and I walked around and looked at the other rooms, which were also filthy, but clearly \"cleaned,\" as the beds were made. She offered to vacuum and give us new linens for the first room. It was late, we had driven 12 hour, and we have kids, so I said ok. She did a good job vacuuming and left sheets and newer blankets, maybe intending to return and put them on the beds. However, I got back first to a stained mattress cover, so gross I could hardly believe it. I got a can of Lysol and sprayed down the whole place, used quick wipes on all surfaces, and got an extra set of sheets from Brittany to further separate us from the mattresses. To be fair, the people staying at the hotel included a number of families with kids, and the pool was a nice perk. However, I have never seen a room like this.

Terrible hotel. A waste of your time.

We pulled into the lot after dodging the potholes and went into the office where we picked up our keys. We booked a non-smoking room and when we opened the door, the smell of smoke was overtaking. Went back to office and she didn't apologize, just gave us a different room. The new one stunk, and the headboard was missing pieces and the bathtub was cracked and scuffed up. Nasty! We left our key with the office and got a refund! Yuck!

We pick if for the price since we do use if for anything but sleeping, close to shopping, casino Nice surprise the pool was clean and warm and enjoyed it. The mattresses need replacing and so do the blankets, cig burns in it and old, we do not ask for room service every day and when you do you expect certain things no clean coffee cups left or coffee, no clean glasses . When we asked them to tidy the room they did not clean the sink so like they say you get what you pay for.

Needed somewhere to stay before heading somewhere else. It is close to the expressway and easy to find; even has food around it. The neighborhood seems a little scary, but I had no problem. We arrived fairly late in the evening. The check-in staff was friendly. The room itself was not very inviting. The carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed in a while, there was a receipt from the previous guest on the table, and a used towel was hanging on the door hook in the bathroom.

A good stop on a long trip

The Knights Inn Rossford is definitely a roadside motel. It's probably not where I would stay to visit Toledo, but it was very comfortable as a stop on a long road trip. They have a night desk, which was a lifesaver because we had some trouble on the road and didn't get in until 4am!

Easy check-in, I like the one story buildings, no going up stairs. Microwave, refrigerator, TV, limited cable, air conditioned room. Room I had, at one time had smokers do to the burn marks on bedding an on bath tub. that was the only negative worth noting.
This is the secounded time I've stayed here. If you want a room that new this is not for you, but the price is right.

great for two guys looking for beds for a night

We were in town for the National tractor pull assoation champinships in Bowling Green and needed a hotel room for a few nights. The room was fairly clean, but they just refolded the dirty wet towels from the day before and put them back for us to use the second day. We did not find any bed bugs, that was a plus!!! And the bed was quite comfy. It's not a place I'd take the wife but for my brother and I it worked just fine, we'll probably be back next year.

Convenient and Very Nice Staffl

While this is an older hotel and not sparkling new the service was very nice with very attentive staff. Older rooms but very clean and quiet with fridge, mic, coffeemaker and nice cable package... would stay there again..
