Hotel had no power and was closed when we got there at 12:30AM. No staff at front door. No one answering phones. No communication from hotel. We had to find another hotel at 12:45AM and still haven’t been able to get ahold of this hotel or the hotel group to make sure we are not charged for this reservation. On top of that Expedia has been extremely unhelpful in dealing with this because the AI chat bot just loops back on itself repeatedly

I booked and paid for a Hot tub room, and it was not available. The outside had old hot tubs and debris from the renovations all around the outside of the building. I was racially profiled by the lady who did my check out. I usually always stay at this location when I'm there because I work for Prometric when I'm there as a travel nurse, but I will seek other options if this is how this particular establishment is managed.

The room we booked wasn’t available. The staff blamed me by said I booked the wrong room. I booked a king suite with jetted tub. I’ve booked it 3 times now. The jetted tubs were in the parking lot and instead of just saying it was the remodel they blamed it on me. Yea I probably won’t be back

This hotel is currently under renovation, which isn’t a huge deal if it was disclosed and the rates reduced. Our room was thrown together and should not have been booked yet because it was not ready for guests.
The issues -
Heat was off, the room was 50 degrees when we entered.
Very large room with almost no furniture. One chair and ottoman in the large space that we expect will have a sofa bed and coffee table.
The layout put the king sized bed ridiculously close to end of room, too close to the heater under the window, less than 2 feet.
Dust/plaster bits from renovation were still in the heater so when we turned it on we got a blast of dust.
In the washroom there was the same dust and debris in the toilet paper holder. No roll holder in the toilet paper holder, just set on the dust.
The fan in the bathroom didn’t work. No light in the shower. Footprints on the tiled floor.
Room carpet needed another vacuuming from installation.
No hot water, Lukewarm at best, so couldn’t use the shower.
TV did not work.
On the bright side we were exhausted and the bed was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was having construction (did not know prior to booking) volume on the TV was so low on high that you could not hear it. Front desk did come to the room to try and fix. He could not. Hot tub was dirty. The bathroom sink stopper was broken and when taken out for the water to drain , the plug was black with mold. Views from our room included scattered trash spewed all around. Breakfast was a hard pass with sausage links looking very undercooked. However the bed was very comfortable!

The staff weirdly walked us up to our room and cam in with us.

When i booked the room there was no mention of construction taking place at the time. Check in time was at 3: 00 pm . I showed up at 2:30 to see if the room was available a little earlier but was told that it wasn’t ready for another 30 minutes which was fine since I was early anyways. After 30 minutes went by I went back to check in and was told it would be 5 more minutes because they were checking over the room one last time. 30 minutes go by and the room still wasn’t ready so i inquired about it and was told that they were going over the room one last time ,at this time I told the guy at the front desk that i was told 5 minutes over half an hour ago and that i had my room reserved well in advance and that my room should have been ready for the time that i paid for. I asked for a discount on the room and then the guy at the front desk started acting like he didn’t understand English and his grammar changed. He gave me 2 bottles of water for my wife and I to compensate us . He finally said the room was ready and when we got to the room only one of the keys worked so i went back down to the front desk and he said he would bring another key back up to us ( his English skills suddenly improved this time around and he understood everything that was being said this time around as long as it wasn’t about a discount) i went back to the room and my wife said that the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the microwave had food splattered everywhere.

This location must have new management and they are not investing anything into the property. I used to come to this location frequently but now i would never return. The rooms now are very dirty and look unsanitary. The paint is chipping and the furniture and carpet had stains, like they havent been cleaned in sometime. Even the jetted jacuzzi looked horrible and i refused to take a chance in it. The hallways also looked uncleaned.

My own fault for not reading reviews first but my thinking was Perrysburg is a nice area so this had to be a nice hotel. Would not stay again.

The room was clean. The light over the sink did not work leaving the light over the tub the only illumination. Does not work for anyone taking out contact lenses or putting on makeup. The clearance between the bed and heat unit was approximately 6 inches making it almost impossible to access the bed on one side. Only one of the keycards worked. Access to WiFi required a phone call to tech support. We have stayed there before and noticed it had been upgraded which was a plus.

My stay was overall okay, but there were some significant issues. On the first night, the fire alarm went off at 3 a.m., and we couldn’t return to our rooms until almost 6 a.m. I understand that accidents can happen, but this was a major inconvenience. I had hoped for some kind of comp on our room for the disruption to our sleep, but they offered nothing.

I believe the alarm was triggered either by a malfunction with the panel or someone burning food in the microwave. Even when we were finally allowed back into our rooms, we couldn’t get any rest because the alarm continued to blare loudly. Eventually, we had to go to our car to sleep.

Lastly, the water pressure in the shower was inadequate. While it wasn’t a huge issue, my daughters, who have long hair, were not happy about it when trying to rinse out their shampoo.

Our first room didn’t have hot water to which we were switched to a room which did and upgraded so no issue. Then the hotel caught on fire. Fire alarms went off but seemed intermittent like there was an error but it definitely was not. There was a fire, to which fire fighters and police responded. First, the room we booked said it had a sleeper sofa - it did not. It had a small chair. There was no hotel lock on the door-it had been broken off. there was a rolled up paper stuck in the peep hole. The layout of the room was awful and the tv was so far from the tv you could barely see it. there was no light over the desk and the tv/desk area was so dark-even with the bedside lights on. The final straw was going in the bathroom and there was no toilet paper on the roll - and no toilet paper in the room at all. If you didn't add toilet paper - you sure didn't change sheets and make sure it was clean. Update your pictures because your rooms are not as nice as the pictures and very misleading. DO BETTER!

Neither the toilet nor the tub were clean. There was poop on the toilet seat and when i filled the tub with water, there was soap scum, hair, dead skin, and questionable substances covering the surface of the water. I found food under the chair next to the bed. On the plus side, the room was quiet.

We got there and there was no one at the desk to check us in. I actually had to stand at the desk and call out, “Is anybody here”?
We got our luggage and figured we needed a key to get in the building through the parking lot entrance. It was just open and did not lock. We went to our room which was clean but old and worn. When I tried the WIFI a message came on my phone saying it might be a malicious site and I shouldn’t use it. Also within the 1st few minutes of being in the room we had to call the office for the toilet to flush. Considering all and all, I think I’d probably take a closer look at the other hotels which were across the street.

There was no lever to unplug the drain of the sink and we had to brush our teeth in the bathtub. We didn’t call for service because it was late and we were ready to sleep Water pressure was low and the water didn’t get very hot. The coffee pot needed manual pressure to work.
