I was running an ultramarathon and excited to have a warm place to sleep, but this place freaked me out. One of the locks on my door didn't work, there were little bugs, and the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The bed was comfortable and I actually slept well, but this place needs some upkeep.

Online pictures are very deceiving! The pool has not been maintained in who knows how long, it is green and has long grass growing around the edges. The rooms are outdated, again not as shown in pictures. The rooms have dial up microwaves, the curtains are torn, the floors are absolutely disgusting (my clean feet turn black walking across them), the tub has stains and is a light black / gray on the floor of the tub. Absolutely disgusting, would rate negative if I could!

So so!

They used the "Covid" excuse to not provide the breakfast that was listed on their site as included. (one of the reasons we chose the hotel.) No one answered the phone after countless calls to see if we could check in late from a long flight delay. Had to submit a message thru the Expedia site but no one contacted us. Sketchy area - very run down.

Walked into room, you can smell mildew/urination maybe in carpet.
Corners had spider webs, roaches.
Although everything was neat and tidy on surface, I was still apprehensive about sleeping on the bed. If I could have went to another hotel, I definitely would have.

Book elsewhere unless you’re ok with filth

I booked non smoking but was given a room that smelled of smoke and was told nothing was left to switch to. Room had nasty feel, stains on bed covers, spider webs on windows and in corners and spiders, bathroom not clean and paid extra for breakfast but was told no breakfast due to covid. In Florida, I got breakfast in April so they could have done breakfast bags at least. Will not stay here again ever plus no one ever answers the phone…been trying to call for days due to a left item.

Initially, there was an error in the booking and I was placed in a smoking room. The smoking room was pretty gross for reasons that had nothing to do with the smell of the room. The desk attendant was friendly and helpful in moving us to a non-smoking room. The non smoking room, thought better, still left much to be desired. The smoke detector had been taken off the wall and there was a large hole in the wall with live wires exposed. There were a number of other small picky things that I’d consider “quick fixes” that ultimately made the room unsightly... but I wasn’t expecting much for $50 a night. Overall, the room was a decent value.

Great place for the price! Multiple places to eat within walking distance. Consider staying here if you are looking for a place to sleep for a good price. Okay my experience was okay the room was clean the continental breakfast was not very good it to have real juice maybe some fresh fruit a more variety of cereal and maybe homemade waffles and instead of frozen waffles,that were in a container on the counter at room temperature
that you had to put in a toaster, we didn't even bother eating breakfast our second day. Housekeeping showed up too early to clean the room and so that did not get properly cleaned ,only the bathroom got cleaned because we were still in bed and did not give enough towels. my room was across from the laundry room and housekeeping made a little too much noise coming in and out. The lady at the front desk was very nice and courteous and very polite

Wyndham should be embarrassed to have this hotel under their name. Ceiling was falling in, plaster had a big hole in it. Drywall tape was loose, no light bulb in lamp, hair dryer was broken, towels were sandpaper, smoke alarm was hanging from the wall and the carpet was super icky. Only thing going for it was the bed was comfortable. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else if available. We had no choice. Parents weekend at GSU.

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, used condoms behind the refrigerator, holes in the wall, dirty sticky carpet, the toilet had very low pressure so it wouldn't flush. The tub had a brown ring around it so I bought cleaner and cleaned it myself, there was no soap to bathe with,the water in the pool was green, roaches in the beds, the outlets didn't work as far as charging devices, just and awful awful hotel

We had read some sketchy reviews about the hotel after we had booked it and were expecting the worst......it was far from that and suited our needs perfectly.....it's a dated hotel but the owners do a good job keeping it as advertised is kept up well with fresh paint and generally good conditions... ....the lady we checked in with was nice, the housekeeping staff was very accommodating and we felt safe......it was worth the money we spent.....reminded me of an old school roadside motor lodge.

This hotel was cockroach infested. Within minutes we saw 5 live roaches crawling through the room. Under the beds there were many dead roaches. My son and I left immediately. We requested a refund through Hotels.com and was denied.

The stay was average. The only down part of the stay had nothing to do with the hotel, but the "undesirable" in the parking lot that was "cat-calling" my wife as we were entering the room. It was gross' we stayed there 1 yearn ago to the date and it wasn't bad. This year it was GROSS!!! The chair in front of our desk should be a bio hazard !!! It was disgusting!! The floor was sticky!! The shower was BLACK from nasty!!! We got there at 12:30am we were so tired we went straight to bed. This room was the most gross room I have ever been in!!! There was white stuff on the wall I'm scared to even think what it could be!!!! What ever you do' if you stay in room 123 change your room!!! Oh and I called for over 2 hours trying to let them know we were checking in late (after 12) there was no answer for over 2 hours!!!! Don't ever stay there!!!! Most NASTIEST PLACE EVER!!!!

I don't know how Hotels.com is associated with this business. It was so filthy that I couldn't even imagine eating food much less breakfast from this establishment. FDA need to close them down. I called the hotel to informed them that I will be checking in late that evening. When we arrived we saw the doors to the office lock and we conducted our signed in through a window which reminded me of a cashier's cage. We received our keys and on our way to the room there were four old mattresses leaning against the wall at the foo tot the stairs. This was an eyesore.as we negotiate the staircase we saw roaches running on the side of the building. We did not pay it any mind instead continued to our room. As we entered the room we were hit a horrible odor. I went turned on the air conditioner and went to check out the bathroom at this time my wife scream to get my attention. There were big roaches hanging out underneath the sink. We took our bags and exit the room. On our way out I look up to the ceiling and saw what look like a huge section separating like a water spot. We walk away from this hotel without even trying to get a refund, instead we drove 50 minutes back to our house even though we had a long day traveling. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE BECAUSE OF THE HEALTH RISK.

Good For a Night's Rest Only

The hotel was grossly overpriced for the accommodations. We selected it only because it was a name I recognized and have used in the past, and only one of a few left to book for the Georgia Southern graduation.
At first sight it was apparent that it was small and dated, which has never been a deal breaker. The main issue was the lack of cleanliness; the carpeting was filthy. After showering and walking around the room, my feet became dirty. We must have missed the cleaning window by having our "do not disturb" sign on the room until noon. When we retuned later in the evening, the room was as we had left it. Normally this would not be a problem, but that meant we didn't have fresh towels. On other hotel stays, we do use the towels more than once, but are usually given hand towels and more than one wash cloth. It was an issue on this visit.
The chairs are not comfortable. The air conditioning unit was located next to the sink so getting ready was uncomfortable because of the blowing air. The bed was okay but the pillows were on the very soft side. The toilet did not flush well and the shower faucet was wobbly. There was plenty of hot water, though.
It is an excellent location; the university is extremely close and restaurants were within walking distance. We did not use the pool and can't comment on that.
There was no Iran in the room and could be communicated somewhere on the site so travelers can be prepared. Luckily our granddaughter was able to lend us hers.

A bedbug scurried across the mattes when I pulled back the sheets. Did I mention that the sheets were stained? Blech. Noisy guests slammed doors and shouted at each other until 5 a.m. Every trip to their cars included chirping car alarms and slamming car doors. I could hardly hear the ice machine over the noisy vending machines. Worst hotel ever.

The hotel staff tried to Howell me for 5 minutes when I arrived at midnight, desperate to get some sleep. The room smelled sour and I woke up to a roach on the end table who was not afraid of the lights and walked freely about.
The hotel is old and dingy and more of a motel really. Would rather have slept in my car.

This hotel was convenient and met my needs for a place to stay overnight. The hotel is very dated. It needs a complete overhaul. The first room I received was a connecting room. The door in my room that connected to the room next door was broken and would not close. The guest in the other connecting room could just come in at will. I informed the front desk and was given a non-connecting room. The room was clean, but very out dated. The air conditioner was missing grates. The bathroom needed painted and the bathroom window had weeds growing on the outside. The towels needed to be replaced with new as they were worn. I bought my own. I would only stay here again if there was nothing else available.

I was not expecting much from the hotel. We went to a Georgia Southern Football game and did not get in the room until after midnight. It smelled really bad. The air conditioner barely worked and looked like it was going to fall out of the wall. The worse part was we could feel the springs in the mattress. Horrible night sleep. I live 2 hours from Statesboro and if this was my only option I would drive home, regardless of how late it was. Positive parts was the sheets were clean. Not sure about the bedspread.

Not much going for this worn out motel. Namely - roaches in room, broken towel bar, non-draining sink. Also, old sticky carpet, stains on ALL cloth furniture surfaces, and grey (formally white) sheets. BIG PROBLEM - smoke detector torn out of wall and bare wires hanging from socket. On positive side, water was hot, door closed, bed was comfortable, hot coffee in office area, and location was across street from my destination. I should title my review 'Never Again' because if this is the only motel available, I will sleep in my car.

I paid $50 to stay there any was nothing but cockroaches I feel like I should give me my money back don't anyone ever stay there

Roach Infested Hotel!

My husband, myself and three kids stayed here for my sister in laws graduation! I was not pleased with this hotel at all. There was bugs every where and the manager was a jerk about it. All he wanted to do was keep switching me from room to room that still had bugs in them. So finally after midnight with arguing the manager of the hotel and hotels.com I only got a $10 refund and I spent $56 on the room and had to end up switching hotels and costing me an extra $100. I will never stay here again and I doubt I will book thro this site again too. The guy I spoke with thro hotels.com basically sided with the manager and didn't care to hear what I had to say. I have never had this sort of problem. Good Luck to anyone else...
