Really great location and a nicely remodeled place. Could use modernized tv’s or other tech, and a warmer pool, but overall the price was great and I can tell the folks that own it take pride in their business. Cleanliness was top tier in rooms, lobby and pool as far as I could tell. Will absolutely stay here again.

I booked three nights for over February vacation with two teenagers. I was not told that the pool was closed for maintenance until after we checked in. There was no refund offered, and although the staff was extremely nice, the hotel and rooms are a bit rundown, looking with an electrical outlet not working in our room and a weird smell coming from the heater/fan

The entire hotel has been neglected and running at minimal cost. The pool was closed with no intention of opening during our three night stay. Ice machines broken and coffee machine. Breakfast was minimal with no bagels, fruit, even bowls for cereals. The elevators inspection date was overdue almost one year. I asked multiple times to speak with the manager regarding the pool being closed since that was reason I booked there. We were multiple families with eight children between us. She was never around and never called me after I asked their front desk to contact me. I would not recommend and truthfully would never stay at a Best Western again.

Front desk staff was friendly, kind and attentive. Location was easy to find and ample parking.

On the surface level everything looked clean, but fitted sheets on the bed had stains, the sheet on top of each bed had easy to spot stains.

Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and lotions were squeezed empty and placed in the shower.

Quite a few issues with the hotel:
- when I got to check-in, no one was there. I had to wait 10 minutes
- the breakfast selection was not good - eggs were not fresh, oatmeal had ran out, only fruit was apple
- there was an advertised pool but the hotel staff said there isn't a pool....

It was not mentioned when booking that there pool was closed from the state due to water quality issues. The bathrooms were not clean, there was hair in the shower and all over the floors in the bathroom and hairs in the sheets. For the money I paid it was not worth it.

The condition of the room was poor. It is well past it's prime. The blackout blind was torn and it wouldn't come all the way down. The sheer curtains that came over it were dirty and ripped (as if they had been slashed). The room was not dirty per se but the cleaning crew are not thorough and there were smudges on mirrors, toothpaste stains on the wall beside the sink and the floor was not swept properly. Bathroom toiletries were useless...tiny bottle of cheap shampoo and lotion and a bar of soap (no shower gel). The overall impression was VERY shabby/run down. It definitely did not justify the price that was charged.
The elevator is a disaster...one did not work so the one remaining elevator had to service 7 floors and was extremely slow.
Breakfast wasn't bad...it was a hot breakfast. It's not the hotel's fault that it was like a zoo! So many people tripping over each other to get food and with only one person replenishing the hot food, it ran out quickly. There also weren't a lot of places to sit to eat.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels as i travel frequently for work…this one is not very good.

My daughter found a used tissue in the bottom of her sheets/bedding on the second night of our stay. This tells me the sheets were not changed prior to our arrival. When i told the front desk employee (Harsh), he did not apologize or offer any discount, only asked why we didn’t tell them. She found it in the middle of the night and did not tell me until the morning. I asked for a discount and he refused.

One of the two elevator is broken and the wait time to use the elevator can be quite long.

If you can find lodging elsewhere you should.

The lake view was quite pleasant. Noise level was very acceptable. Very quiet at night. The room was clean but baseboards and corners appeared quite dirty. Breakfast was very acceptable. Only one elevator was operational and was quite slow. The air conditioning was very comfortable and easily adjustable. No bells and whistles at this hotel, and it wasn't the Ritz, but the stay was pleasant, comfortable and adequate.I like having small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion and not the one community bottle in the shower. (YUCK) Bar soap was also provided. No pets was a plus since I don't relish sleeping in a bed previously slept in by a bulldog.

Person who checked us in was very nice. He let us know about the amenities and wished us a good night. One elevator was broke and the other was a little slow. My shower was not clean. There was visible pinkish mildew. Also, it was extremely hot in the lobby. It was mid August. The A/C might have been down, but there was no sign indicating so I'm not sure. There was only one fan in the lobby and it was a small desk fan pointed at the front desk attendant.
