The door was difficult to close from the outside and had to be slammed. Breakfast was unappetizing, so we went out to eat. There is a lip of the room about 1.5 inches above the hallway floor. California code only permits a 1/4 inch lip, and I tripped over it several times, in spite of a warning tape placed.

A lovely stay over the road to the pool. Smooth check in, a cosy inn and a nice warm outdoor heated outdoor pool and cosy shared lounge room with a fire to warm up by after a swim. Spacious, clean room with cozy beds, a fireplace and plenty of space for a family of four, would stay again

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the patio/ocean view rooms on the end of the property. It was so pretty. Sat outside a few times to enjoy the view. The room also had a fire place. We also ordered delivery to our room from the Cow Tipper. That set up was perfect. There is a QR code specific to the room. Ordered breakfast and it was delivered within ~15 min.

We had a great time. Room was clean. Check in and out was super easy.
Complementary breakfast was not a breakfast. Coffee, some bars and oatmeal is not breakfast.
Also, the coffee machine in our room was broken, missing pieces.
Furniture in balcony needs an upgrade. They were fully damp in the morning.
Room needs a bigger table.

Brandon was very helpful & accommodating with all my questions prior to our stay. His winery & dining recommendations were on point. We had a great stay overall and will definitely be back.
The “continental breakfast” was; making your own instant oatmeal, premade coffee, a loaf of pre-sliced lemon or coffee cake, granola bars and apples to go. Seemed very limited and no where to sit, you had to take it back to your room. Not the worst but not the best. However now that we know, we can bring our own food options for our next stay.

Location fabulous. Right on ocean with easy access. Most rooms have patio with view of ocean. Our room was one of few that did not have that. But there were two small patios at front that anyone could use. Included breakfast items were a nice surprise. Fireplaces in the rooms was a nice touch.

I honestly would stay here again. I was very disappointed. The breakfast they included was just coffee and not even enough for everyone to have have some. They didn’t offer any bagels or even waffles or anything. Of that sort.

The room was clean and updated. We did not have a view except into the room across from us. We had a fireplace but it was just for looks not warmth. There was a small wall heater but it took most of the night to warm the room. We were there when it was rainy and damp and the room was cool. Bed was very comfortable. Very little/no counter space in bathroom and low water pressure.

The ocean is not visible unless you are standing in the patio area. The front desk clerk stated that breakfast would be available in the lounge at 7:30 am, when actually it is a continental style meal that is served. The property was clean and well manicured.

All Moonstone Beach properties have easy beach walk access and this is no exception. The room was clean and except for an odd step up on the threshold, perfectly nice. Most folks were enjoying the clear coastal weather and the big annual Christmas Fair at Cambria Pines and there were shuttles available right outside for that purpose.

Overall the rooms were cleanly and comfortable. The place was quiet. The pool was clean and somewhat heated. Additionally the”continental breakfast” was a couple of highly sweet pastries and oatmeal cups, coffee. There was no decaf, no cereal and no milk. The second day there was nothing out at 9:30am and several us waited until we gave up. When I tried to discuss the lack of breakfast the manager was argumentative and defensive. For the price we paid expecting a decent continental breakfast selection and availability is not a high bar.

The ocean was seen from my patio room beautiful view. The hotels personal were more than helpful on my concerns and catered to my needs. Look forward to going back to because Cambria is a great place to relax and enjoy the views. If you get here about an 11/2 earlier you can enjoy your bottle of wine before you get in to eat, so i recommend eating at the sea chest bar and grill and main Street grill in the town of Cambria.

We had an ocean view room, 101. The room was very clean. There is a refrigerator, but no microwave. There was plenty of parking on site. There was no housekeeping that came to our room during our 4 day stay, even though I asked for housekeeping on our third day. The breakfast was breads and coffee. A fire pit on site would be nice. There is a restaurant within walking distance that is good. I would recommend this hotel.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and love it. The rooms are clean with a nice fireplace. The staff is professional and nice. Oceanfront which we love. We can easily walk to the beach. There is also a shuttle that comes to pick up people for Cambria lights for a fee. For the price it’s worth it.
