The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and modern with great shower water pressure. The location is perfect. Right across the street from the Theater of the Amazons. Lots of restaurants and ice cream shops. The onsite restaurant was good too. Nice pool area although we didn't have time for a swim. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Manaus.

I stayed for one night in Sept 2025. This hotel is priced more expensive than 5 star hotels in Sao Paolo. I found it deficient in following respects - 1) too much nouse by house keeper at 0800 in the morning. They are cleaning rooms and making perosnal phone calls while cleaning and you can hear it all plus unlike 5 star hotels of SP, here cleaning starts at 0800. 2) No one in this hotel likes to speak English or Spanish except the manager. 3) there is place to get down from the car once you arrive here as one has to open door on a busy street. There is no place to park the car temporarily. They were very rude with my driver who was waiting for me for 15 minutes outside the hotel asking him to leave. Good point - Clean room, good internet, good water pressure, good ambience inside hotel but no way this hotel is worth the price they charge.

We loved this hotel! There are only two higher and hotels in the touristy and most desirable area to stay in Manaus, and we stayed at both of them. This was a far better place on every level. Beautiful grounds, wonderful service, everything functioning, modern amenities. I had a wonderful massage at a very reasonable price. Definitely the best choice in Manaus.

Excellent hotel but beware of their luggage policy

Gorgeous hotel - decor with the “forest” theme throughout. Spacious and comfortable room. Lovely pool day and night time. Fantastic restaurant with great food. Staff members were very friendly.

The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that they refused to store our suitcases when we spent a night in the Amazon jungle because it was their policy. We had reservations before and after our jungle trip, and they gave no advance warning about this policy until I just happened to mention our plan when we checked in. They were extremely rigid about it without offering any solution. This caused a huge panic to us. Thankfully our tour group was very accommodating but it meant our tour guide had to transport our suitcases on the boat and into the jungle.

This is the best hotel in the City of Manaus. The professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of common areas as well as room, the awesome breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant Fitz were some of the highlights. The hotel is very attractive and appropriately ‘Amazonic’ but with a modernist influence. The pool is beautiful as well as the lush gardens around it. Villa Amazônia is located downtown and steps away from the Amazonas Theater… a great place to be.

Perfect boutique hotel for a stay in Manaus

Fantastic hotel! Great location close to trips to the Amazon rainforest. Peaceful, amazing restaurant and bar, convenient gym and had a wonderful massage at the hotel itself. Last but least every single staff member is friendly, helpful and accomodating. They provided great guide suggestions and directed us to a very nive shopping centre within 15 minutes drive away.

Had high expectations but problems during reservation should have giving me enough red flags. Hotel can easily had been a much better experience but it seems that I had the bad luck of not having smooth reservation experience, arrival check-in miscommunication, dirty toilet in common area and some hairs in bathroom (we noticed too late). We decided against having diner here needing a change of scenery. Good thing we did as breakfast was disappointing. All in all I thing some easy fix and could be better (hence average 3 star rating) but should I ever be back in Manaus I had way better experience in another hotel nearby so would not easily choose again.

At check-in I got the impression the staff at Villa Amazona had an over confident attitude. It was, at first, annoying. But later one I realised the reasons why. Their confidence over exudes from an overall excellent product. In every department of hospitality Villa Amazona stood out among the best.

Nice property. Very attractive inside. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. One large bottle of water furnished. Good bath products and a robe. Breakfast was very good. Tasty and good variety. Waiter spoke some English and was very pleasant. Front desk supplied a plug adapter upon request as ours did not work in the socket configuration. Dining room closed at 3 so had to eat dinner in the bar. Limited seating but food was good. Limited wine and beer selection by the glass. Bottles available for purchase. No kettle in the room. Everything has a charge even the pods to make coffee. The only coffee available in the room is expresso with small cups. Not sure if there is room service. Several families checking in so this hotel seems ti accommodate them okay

O quarto é muito confortável, itens de banheiro perfeitos e super espaçoso.

A piscina é linda, porém a água fria, creio por não pegar muito sol nela, fica mais geladinha a água.

Restaurante bom e pratos super bem servidos.

Só mudaria o atendimento no café da manhã, achei um pouco ruim, pois precisamos repetir os itens e ainda assim faltava algumas coisas. Se tivesse um papel onde pudesse escolher os itens da 2º folha, seria mais eficaz o pedido.

One night stay before going on amazon cruise

Quiet, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast spread including eggs, fruits, jams, cheeses, a good collection of breads, juices and coffee/tea. The restaurant in the hotel is decent, loved the soups, salads and appetizers but the shrimp pasta was perhaps not very fresh that day. At least the restaurant offers a good alternative to stepping out at night to find food.

Best place to stay in Manaus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villas Amazonia. We arrived very late at night -- after 1am -- but the person at Reception welcomed us warmly. We had a good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast in the morning. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful, as were all the Reception staff during the two days we stayed here. The hotel is in a good location for seeing the old downtown part of the city -- just a few minutes' walk from the famous opera house, the lovely Saô Sebastiaô Square, and from shops and restaurants. Reception staff gave us good advice about places to shop and find good coffee. We spent two nights at the hotel and then left to go on an Amazon cruise. The staff very nicely allowed us to come back to the hotel after the cruise, and leave our luggage in a secure place before our nighttime flight out of Manaus. We couldn't be happier with the facilities, location, and staff at this hotel.

We only had one night before heading off to the Amazon but this was a real find. It's well located with good facilities.
Check in was friendly and helpful.
We also had dinner here and it was excellent.
The room was comfortable, spacious and well appointed with a pod coffee maker. There was a small balcony overlooking the garden and their small pool. There is even a small but pretty well equipped gym.

We stayed here for three nights. The hotel itself is really lovely. The entrance and front part of the hotel is the original beautiful old house and the rooms at the back have been added in a very sympathetic way with a lovely swimming pool. Lovely Manaus Hotel

This hotel is a total gem. Refurbished building with modern, simple and elegant finishes. It is straight out of an interior design magazine. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay there again!
