I arrived late, but I had received a message that the key was placed in a coded key box, so entry was straightforward.

My room and bath was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower has excellent pressure.

The breakfast selection is very good with plenty of choice of different foods, juices, yogurts and different types of freshly prepared eggs were offered.

The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.

In summary, a very good stay and at a very reasonable price.

Fabulous hotel near the Drosselgasse and The Seibahn, check in was easy with limited parking on site however lots of public car parks near by. Breakfast had a wide choice from fresh rolls to fruit & yoghurt.
definitely stay here again - Dog friendly.

The hotel is in a great location and the car park is close by. The lady on the desk when we checked in we think was the owner. She was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was a typical German wooden panelled room which was delightful the staff made us feel welcome and the breakfast was excellent.

This hotel location was excellent, very convenient to everything you need in Rudesheim. The staff there was amazing and extremely helpful. They arranged a large taxi on short notice for our group of 5 traveling all the way back to the Frankfurt Main train station. A wonderful stay overall, will be back.

Hotel clean and well kept. No evening meals, but not a major problem because loads of restaurants nearby. Breakfast in lovely courtyard was excellent. Super helpful staff in family owned hotel.

Only downside was how busy the immediate area was - caused by swarms of cruise ship passengers. Try to avoid late afternoons/ evenings because the town is rammed then. Much nicer during the day.

We loved Rüdesheim and Hotel Altedeutsche Weinstube! This small hotel is gorgeous, beautifully maintained and the staff is helpful, kind and welcoming! Breakfast is wonderful! Be sure to go on the \"Ring Tour,\" and if you are visiting during the summer, Rüdesheim's outdoor swimming pool is immaculate and perfect for families!

This hotel was exactly what I pictured when thinking of Germany. The bonus was that it was 2 story with bathroom on bottom floor when you walk in. Front desk staff super friendly and the included breakfast was delicious and even had bacon! Great location and a hard to find 4 person room!

The hotel is well located in Ruedesheim very close to the main part of town where the restaurants are.

The room was of a good size and very clean. The windows were very effective in blocking out the noise of the freight trains that seem to run most of the night on the track that follows the course of the Rhine. The wifi worked well and breakfast was good. The hotel offers onsite parking for a fee but if you arrive after 18.00 there are two very close public car parks that are free until 09.00 in the morning.

1st here but...

Superior or excellent means more things in a hotel to Americas. This was average. Small rooms, very small bathroom, she did say noicier on the street. But we took it vs. the rooftop view with laundry over the courtyard with no views. Construction on that street which is not normal for 2022. Pd 2 euro for a small bottle of water in the room. Breakfast was good. Down the street a block is the huge park with wine, chairs, music, view! The best! Next time I'll pick another hotel, 2 bars across the street open late. Check in okay. Owner on site speaks English.

The hotel had all the modern amenities to include AC in some rooms, but still managed to the maintain that old world charm that makes the area such an attractive travel destination. The staff is most welcoming and accommodating to make your stay as comfortable as possible, plus the location makes the city square less than a 5 minute walk. Lastly, recommend that you take advantage of the ample delicious breakfast. All in all we will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Friendly staff, modern rooms, quiet, restaurant (old wine Stube) looked like in the pictures, great atmosphere and great regional wine selection. Definitely recommend it and will stay there when visiting the beautiful Rhein area again.

Walkable distance to the train station. Nice room with clean bathroom. Our room was facing inner parking lot so it was quiet at night. The variety of breakfast is good as well! The luggage storage service was extremely helpful since we went out all day for the Rhine river cruise tour after check out!

This was a nice hotel, clean, and simple, comfortable beds, but it was a really hot while we were there, and there was no air conditioning. The only window opened over the back entrance, where people hung out to smoke, so we had the choice of smoke in the room, or a stuffy hot room

Lovely hotel, excellent location, staff all friendly, great at speaking English too. Made a real effort with our children, provided them with hot chocolate for breakfast and at bed time, cooked food to suit them that wasn't on the menu and they genuinely really cared about your experience there. The room was beautiful, very clean and we had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Will definitely be back!!

Pleasant and friendly hotel

If I could, I would give 4.5 rather than 4 for my ratings as the hotel was better than 'pleasing'. It is a quaint hotel in a convenient spot, but with large modernised rooms, comfortable and well decorated. The staff were friendly, but not all spoke English (I wouldn't expect that they would - or should - but just noting it). Breakfast was the usual European style, but on the plus side, my choice of cooked egg was personally made for me on week days, a very small minus was that the orange juice available tasted artificial. Coffee was also provided individually in an insulated jug. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom reasonably appointed, although the shower was just a little low in height.

Difficult to locate when in a car because no stopping permitted close by.
Hard to access reception staff at 14.00hours in the afternoon.
Reception staff slow and reluctant to appear in person and unwelcoming.
Accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Ideal location in the Altstadt for sightseeing, meals etc...
Good value.
Parking in Hypo Parking was quite difficult to access due to pedestrian area and one way traffic system but once parked up it was a short walk to the hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of an adorable town along the Rhine and within walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops. The service didn't speak the best of English, so we had a little trouble at the front desk. We received (paid for) a WiFi code, but it's only for one device. Parking is at a fee, but it's a small lot and fills fast. However, there is a lot next door that is free at night (charges hourly during the day). No A/C in the room and our room overlooked a courtyard with everyone's laundry hanging outside, so not our favorite view. But the room was nice.

Only stayed one night. Stayed with my elderly parents on the top (third) floor in the two bedroom loft. Hotel has one elevator, which seems to stop whether you're going up or down, so it was full with people from the lower floors a lot. The two bedroom loft had narrow stairs within the room to get to the beds (bathroom was downstairs), so if stairs are an issue, it could be a problem. Also, not sure if they have air conditioning. If not, could be a problem in the heat of the summer as you will hear the trains all night if the window is open, but that is likely the case for anywhere in Ruedesheim. Breakfast was excellent (although coffee is not the greatest). Just be sure to check in all the baskets as some items are not visible. Location is good. Since we were only there one night and had no issues, I can't really speak to the quality of service if there were to be an issue. We parked in the public parking lot for the one night with no issue. Outside of the older Tv's which we didn't watch anyhow, the room was not dated. We had no complaints.

We were initially taken aback by the typical German directness. We stayed at their guesthouse around the corner from the main hotel and found this later to be a blessing due to the incessant noise made by the trains running every 5 minutes or so it seemed. Otherwise it's located relatively close to all the amenities (the town is really small). We enjoyed dinner at the main hotel restaurant and it turned out to be surprisingly good, unlike some other meals we had in the 'tourist towns'.

Rudesheim er en flott plass, spesielt turmulighetene rundt/over byen. Hotellet skuffa mest ut fra at vi oppfattet bildene som noe anderledes enn realiteten - spesielt bildene som la fremst som var fra området men ikke selve hotellet. Her misforstod vi og hadde andre forventninger - noe som gjorde at vi ble skuffet når det ikke så ut som vi trodde/lå der vi trodde.

Hotel liegt fußläufig zum Ortskern. Wir waren im alten Teil untergebracht mit Fenstern direkt zur Straße die tagsüber schon recht laut war. Sehr gutes Frühstück und eine Garage für die Fahrräder mit Lademöglichkeit für das E-Bike

Leider hatten wir Zimmer zur Straße,wo die ganze Nacht Krach von den 2 Gaststätten zu hören war,weil die Leute auch draußen gefeiert haben.Ansonsten fand ich den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm

We loved the ambience of the room. The hotel is very welcoming, super clean, ideal location, wide selection of fresh foods, delicious breakfast, prompt and efficient service. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back.
