The room smellled weird and the toilet was wobbly just to sit on. Saw a cockroach running across the sink and barely was able to sleep through the night because neighbors were so loud arguing and banging the doors. The tv speaker was mostly blown and the bedding had some stains. Good tv channel choices tho and lots of food and gas starions near by.

Were booked into a handicap accessible room without request for same. The shower stall was step in. The shower rod was curved outside the shower stall and the shower curtain was so short that it didn't fall inside the stall. Therefore the water ran down the curtain into the bathroom, outside the stall. When stepping outside the shower, one stepped onto a tile floor swamped with water. Definitely a slipping hazard, especially for someone who had mobility issues. The bed coverlets needed cleaning as they had stains on them.

The person at the desk was extremely helpful and polite and was able to accommodate a 1st floor room for me.
The room was clean. There were some strange mechanical sounds in the middle of the night.
The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud.
There is no breakfast to be had unless you want a very small yogurt. The was coffee and watered down orange juice.
If all you require is a place to sleep for the night then this is an ok place to stay

This motel is a red hot mess. Trash piled up everywhere outside of rooms, in heaps! The first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke, had dirty floors, two cockroaches crawling around, and when we checked the mates we saw rust marks, indicative of bed bugs though we didn’t see any bed bugs.
They gave us a different room, which was relatively ok considering the first one’s issues, but the walls are so thin we could hear our neighbor snore almost as loud as if he was in the same room with us.
The free breakfast consisted of coffee, orange juice and yogurt. We did not partake.
This hotel needs to be condemned.
The staff was nice though.

The room was infested with roaches! There were no conjoined rooms, as stated! Our rooms were TEN rooms apart! The only garbage can was in the bathroom. There was no chair to sit on. The inside of the tub was dirty; the outside had hair all over it. The sink was dirty. The one towel I took off the rack was visibly dirty with \"something\"...There were only 2 washcloths for my 3 children and I. And there was no crib!!! And the manager or front desk person knew we needed a cib because we told him. Yet, he never said anything until AFTER I paid! We couldnt go anywhere else because we had already been driving for over 16 hours straight! It was absolutely miserable!

Good stay for an overnight trip. Kumar treated us like very special people! Clean and very comfortable. Only problem - ADA shower very difficult to use for someone less then 5’4. Reaching the shower head was impossible. Would not recommend this place for special needs.

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews of this hotel. However, we met with a friendly person at the front desk who checked us in. Coffee was always available. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were absolutely no bugs. This hotel was very close to Shenandoah University where my son is a student. I would absolutely stay again.

Good Place to Stay overnight.

Good place to stay for an overnight drive through. The room is very clean, bed was excellent. The front desk personnel was 50/50. Check in, the clerk was friendly. Check out - the cleaning staff was waiting in front of our door - it wasn’t even time to checkout yet…..it was different. Overall….just fine.

Shockingly derelict and dirty hotel. Rooms dirty and poorly maintained. Almost all fixtures and appliance broken or missing. Had to ask for a hair dryer, to eventually be handed one ripped from the wall. It didn't work anyway. Staff apathetic, too busy streaming sports on their phone to pay attention to customers. Police called to hotel twice over night for different disturbances. This motel was someplace spend a few hours overnight while traveling. Nothing more.

The room was great but the roaches are still a problem. I woke up to use the restroom and they were everywhere, and I couldn’t use the coffee maker because it was covered in roach “dirt”. Other than that, the staff were wonderful and I enjoyed my stay.

The floor was recently redone but was NOT be vaccumed and mopped. Especialy in the bathroom.
Accept small pet free.
In general for travelors who need to spend only one night, you get a good bang for your buck.
Get extras * for clean floor, fixing bed frame and faucet

Lots of little problems, but nothing really major

The mattress seemed hard as a rock, and it was on a metal base that would make loud thunder-like noises when you rolled over. The water started with rust more than once, and there were obvious patches on the walls from holes. Most of these are pretty minor. The bed was the one that bothered me the most.
All said, I did get a good night's sleep.

Choose it because we read it had been renovated recently and we prefer the option of parking our truck right outside our room. Easily met those expectations. Saw reviews in the past about bed bugs but we saw no evidence of bugs in the two bottom floor rooms we rented. Hot coffee was available in the lobby and yogurt in the morning. Very affordable and clean rooms. Courteous staff. Thumbs up.

The hotel experience was unsatisfactory due to a significant infestation of cockroaches, which compelled me to leave before my final night of stay. The conditions were distressing, characterized by not only the presence of pests but also disruptive noise. Although the bathrooms were reasonably maintained, the bedding was stained and unclean, with indications of cockroach droppings. I cannot recommend this hotel; I advise guests to consider spending a little more to stay at La Quinta instead.

This place is a joke

Within 10 minutes of stepping in our room we saw numerous roaches. We went to the desk and gave them the room key. It was 1am. We drove 7 hours before stopping to rest. We slept in our car in 15 degree weather to avoid bug bites and bringing bugs home to my kids. Still waiting for our refund.

The check in process was easy. The room smelled of smoke so bad. I had to get a febreeze sanitizer to make it bearable. I ended up having to also take benedryl because it was so bad. When I spoke with the receptionist they told me it was smoke coming down from the rooms above, yet their signs said it was a smoke free property.

You get what you pay for

For the most part, you get what you pay for at a Red Roof Inn. This experience was no exception. The only difference was there were a few roaches in the room. The front desk didn’t seem too surprised when I reported it. Still, they said they would spray, so a person must take them at their word. Despite these uninvited guests, the room seemed clean. I would stay there again.
