If you enjoy small (mostly unsupervised) children playing hockey in the hallway blocking the stairwell with their nets, & pool and hot tub area with their parent's partying alongside them until well past 10 p.m. this is the place for you.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel for families. The room was adequate for our needs and the breakfast buffet was equal to getting a fast food breakfast on the go, which saved us a stop. The pool area was perfect for us and any families with small children, although working professionals may find it quite noisy and uncomfortable. Parents can enjoy a soak in the hot tub and still keep a watchful eye on their kids. The single waterslide was a nice addition to keep the little ones entertained, and it was probably the best quality hotel waterslide that we have ever experienced. Added bonus, the pool was quite warm, unlike other hotels, unfortunately though the hot tub could have been a little warmer. They were also very accommodating to our working dog and other guests pets and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel room was clean enough but the bed smelled of urine and bleach. I’m thinking the mattress was likely stained with urine but the sheets were bleached. It was disgusting and I should have changed rooms but I was late getting to bed. The next morning after very little sleep I was woken to a strong smell of curry. I got up and went to breakfast and the eggs tasted rancid. Threw them out. Went back to room to shower and the shower tub is bowed on the floor. Very dangerous for people with mobility or stability issues. The shower head sucked also. When I checked out I told them about my issues and they apologized but that’s it. When I got my receipt I saw that this used to be another low budget hotel. Won’t ever go back.

But that we had a corner lamp we could use, we told her we did not have a corner lab but she doubted but when she came to check realize no there was not and cheapestly admitted it was dark in there. She then brought us a second bedside lamp which she previously had told us she did not have. There was no full length mirror in their room. On the plus side, the pool was a balmy 92° and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable.

There are lots of fast food places within a kilometer or so, but the walking is not great--no sidewalks for most of the way. You can hear some noise from the highway but I admit it did not keep us from a good night's sleep.

The one chair had what looked like a \"skid-mark\". The blankets were very stained and made us a bit leery. One vending machine in the kitchen, with very little, and no water bottles. Hot tub had some kind of sand/grit all over the bottom.

Shower left a bit more to be desired in the cleanliness department. However, the beds and other parts of the room were very comfortable and tidy.

We chose this hotel for the pool, because we had our grandson with us. The pool was cold and had a filth ring around the edge, like a dirty bathtub. The bathroom sink is cracked and the bathroom door handle is about to fall off. Wouldn't have stayed here had we known the pool was so disgusting. Disappointed kid!

Older hotel needing updating. A few things have been updated but not enough to feel like it was worth the cost. Dark rooms. The hot tub water was yellow. Gross. Water slide was fun. Breakfast was untidy. The waffle batter was separated and gunky. Not appetizing. Front staff were great. It was clean ish. But could use touch up paint and easy updates like lighting and new switches. Rooms were v small with stained carpets and dingy old table/chairs. Would have looked better omitting the chair and scratched table. Unfortunate because staff were great.
