The breakfast was amazing and above and beyond for a continental.
All of our 12 meals were fast, hot, fresh and yummy! 😋
I think our stay was during a time of new hirings, so I'd say they were as accommodating as possible.
Seemed they learned along with us. 😏.
The night reception was as helpful as possible and very accommodating.
The daytime lady was actually quite rude and treated us as if we were an annoyance.
Rooms were affordable and on point for other options in the area.
This hotel could definitely use an upgrade but for the price point I'm happy with everything and would definitely stay again.
I would recommend this option to anyone needing last minute short stays.

The breakfast was nice. We received a coupon for each morning to get a complimentary breakfast off one section of the menu. The bacon and eggs were delicious, so were the potatoes that came with them. I really enjoyed the yogurt bowl with fruits, nuts and granola as well. One of the better breakfasts I've had from overnight stays.

Breakfast wasnt good, all dried out. There was a hole in the bathroom door and bathroom needs to be cleaned better. Also we have stayed there often and the hotel has gone downhill in every way. Probably wouldn’t book there again and the deposit is 250.00, a lot more than fancy hotels.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the hotel cleanliness and feeling right at home at The Heritage Inn. Its an old fashion hotel that has class & makes you feel welcome everytine you arrive. And their breakfast, which was included, was phenomenal....very well made & delicious. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a loved one with you like your mother or father....the hotel majes you feel at home.

Unfortunately the stay wasn’t as good as we had hoped. The pool was absolutely freezing, too cold to use, and the hot tub was lukewarm, at best. We brought this to the attention of the front desk, but there wasn’t much they could do at the time. It was pretty disappointing as we chose this hotel based on the fact that it had a pool and hot tub.

While the service at breakfast was commendable, the food was pretty mediocre. We will not choose this hotel in the future.

I left my ipad behind after checking out and driving away. I tried calling the hotel for 15mins and not one person would answer. When we first checked in, the woman was so sweet and kind!
There is no elevator, and there is stairs everywhere. We were on the main floor and to get to our room there were a few stairs down, so we couldn't use the rolly cart to haul things to our rooms, and we had a lot of stuff.
The entire establishment could use a major update. The smell of stale, old cigarette smoke still lingers.
The shower in our room was very difficult to get to a good temperature, and to shut off. My kids struggled with it.
In the pool area, there was tiles falling off and the hot tub was only barely warm.
The listing states breakfast is included but they give you vouchers to go to the restaurant and it covers up to $16. On the adult menu, nothing was under $16, so either be prepared to not have a beverage or bring money. The food we had was very good! The waitress was also wonderful and patient.
The hotel is extremely loud! There was loud music playing in the hallways. The train passed by what seemed like every 15 minutes, and it was unbelievably loud. None of us slept very well.
Overall, their friendly staff is definitely their best asset. But I would not stay there again.

The clerk was rude, the free breakfast was a bag breakfast with a soggy/slimly plain egg burrito thing with a bruised old apple a granola bar, yogurt and a juice box. The restaurant was closed and we were not told when we checked in. The stairs going down the “main” floor smelled like a sewer. There was a smoke alarm that was chirping all day all night for 2 days and we could hear in our room. The “hot” tub wasn’t hot.
The place looked dirty as we walked in.
Definitely would never stay here again!
I would rather sleep in a car than this place.

We have stayed at this property many times. It needs so me remodeling but it was always clean and the staff was good.
This time, it was still clean, the room had been slightly updated but the staff was not knowledgeable and there wasn’t good communication between staff. I was sent in the wrong direction for my second floor room and the comment was, oh it is that way?.
Secondly, we had planned to eat in the hotel pub and was told by reception that there was a private party but we could still eat there. My husband went and spoke to a server who told us yes we could eat there but come at 5:00pm and we can only order from the sandwich menu. We went at 5:00, a server told us to pick a table that did not have a reserve sign and she would bring us a menu. We sat down and a few minutes later another server came out and said they were at capacity and “ we had to leave”. No apologies. It should have started at reception that there was a private event and not available for drop ins. Two people told us yes we could eat there in two separate areas, reception and a server.
On another small point, the vouchers for breakfast should have the time range for breakfast.
We will ppropably stay another time because of the convenience for our trip but I hope there will be more knowledgeable staff and communication.

I booked this hotel for my 87 year old dad as he had a hospital appointment for an MRI in Cranbrook and he did not want to drive home in the dark. He had the MRI 3 hours earlier than it was scheduled so he went back to the hotel and said that he did not need the room because he could still drive home in the daylight. There were 3 people lined up behind him looking for a room but the hotel still charged him the full price. This was always out go to hotel in Cranbrook but not any more. Both I and my dad were quit upset and will never go back there and will make sure to let all out friends that frequently stay there to stay away. Not good for a business.

It's an older property but well-kept inside, comfortable, and clean. Any staff that I interacted with were great, I enjoyed being able to use the pool & hot tub, and I really enjoyed my dinner in the lounge. Likewise, the breakfast next morning was ample & tasty. The only real recommendation I'd make is that the parking lot could really do with a new surface, and I noticed people wandering through the lot looking for cigarette butts outside. Beyond that I thought it was great & would happily stay again on my next visit.

The rooms were registered clean when actually they were filthy, we came across one room where the sink wouldn’t work! The other two looked like someone was currently staying there: there were messy sheets and clearly seen beds were not made, used items in the fridge. Affordable hotel with all the amenities a person needs. It is an older Hotel, but very clean. The room I chose for myself was a queen bed and it had a couch and coffee table, tv, mini fridge, small table and chairs, separate sink/mirror area from the shower and toilet. The bed was very comfortable. My Elderly dad was put on the first floor as requested but in addition to what I had in my room, they also put him in an accessible room that had everything he was used to having at home. Thank you so much for that!! Also, the continental breakfast was fabulous, and very good coffee. The Hotel does have a lounge and restaurant, indoor pool and conference centre. We did not get a chance to check those things out so can’t give a review on those. The Staff were friendly and helpful when needed.

The mini refrigerator had a small freezer which was ideal for freezing ice packs.

Our only negative comments: Both ice machine were out of order and our bathroom fan was so loud, I could barely stand it, and it came automatically when you trned on the light at night. It was reported, so hopefully it has been repaired by now.

The lobby was very dingy & not welcoming. The first room was very dark & seemed like they did not want people to see how filthy dirty it was The bed looked wrinkled like someone had laid on it before we arrived. The lamp shade was stained & the carpet was disgustingly dirty!!!
The 2nd room we looked at smelled of smoke
The hallway stunk of cannabis smell. We got a refund & left quickly. Horrible disgusting place should not be listed on Hotels.com!!!!!!!!!

This place was definitely in a seedy area of town. We were greeted by 3 addicts in the parking lot. When we went to our room through the security door it would not close properly. We felt unsafe for most of this visit.
