Brockville Best Western was a good experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The building has been recently purchased, so the u[grades are still being done. The rooms are clean (no bugs) and well supplied.

The room was pretty gross. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Not like someone had just been smoking in there, but like it had years of smoking and it’s embedded in everything. Walking through the property you can tell it’s not well cared for. They painted the walls in sections but there was excess paint on all door jams and signs. It’s like someone painted who had no skill and got paint everywhere. The front desk staff was nice enough though.

The breakfast was sub par at best. The food wasn’t great and the toaster burnt one side of everything and left the other side untoasted.

I won’t stay there again, I have low standards and this didn’t meet them.

Staff were friendly however the property was not maintained very well very run down and very dirty.

First room smelt like cigarettes and had a plastic bag taped over the smoke detector with mousetraps all over the place. Second room was alright but had a weird smell and saw a cockroach. Luckily I saw no bedbugs. Breakfast was pretty underwhelming… very limited and everything tasted pretty dry and stale.

Hopefully they renovate the place and everything improves as there’s a reason the parking lot is basically empty.

Was on the phone with xpedia trying to get Mr money back for something I had not been able to cancel due to dead honramd that Expedia told me on the phone that it was sure stay that took 100$ CAD AND 22$S and that Expedia received nothing from my bank account from what I was told on the phone by a Expedia rep that I had on speaker phone with my GF listening

Main concern was there is no security with regards to the rooms access. There’s a side door you can enter and it leads directly to the room hallway. Anyone could show up at your door off the street bypassing reception completely. Other than that, the room is clean, and inexpensive. Didn’t expect much for the price.

Didn't get the queen bed room i requested and got stuck with double beds. Still got charged for the queen bed room. Front desk said manager would call but never did. I got ripped off.

Hotel is over priced for quality of rooms. Hotel is out dated and in desperate need of renos.

This property transitioned from Days Inn to potentially Quality Inn on July 1, 2025. It is currently going through a significant retrofit of the entire complex.

The portions that are finished are quite spectacular and bode well for the large amount of work that still needs to be completed. We were more than satisfied with our stay in the renovated room provided to us and also with the complimentary delicious and varied breakfast.

The Days Inn by Wyndham does not exist in Brockville. The hotel is now called Regent. And they did not have my reservation in their system.You should be embarrassed that you are promoting a hotel that doesn't exist. You are completely disconnected.How often do these screwups occur at Expedia. I play to book direct and avoid these situations in the future.

I probably use 30 rooms a year.
I know what I am saying.
Our reservation for a queen size bed was given away. Check in , which usually takes 5 to 10 minutes took 22 minutes.?? Clerk had difficulty
The exterior of the property is very tired......parking areas in poor condition
The maid had left the remains of the last occupier use of coffee machine ... not clean.
The wall paper near the air unit was peeling off.
The buttons for the heat / AC were grimy...quite dirty.
For $250..I would expect a lot more.
My estimate is the room was worth $80.... $100 with tax

Hotel and my room was very clean, breakfeast was great, as where the staff who delivred ice to my room when i called to mention there was no ice bucket.the hotel is a little dated but this keeps costs low and gets passed on to customers/I have stayed a dozen or so hotels in the last 2years an this was by far my best experience/Convenienlty loated on the hiway 401 its close to kingston gannanoque smith falls so its a great hub, at a good price compared to hotesl in kingston of less qualtiy

Access to enter very easy off the highway but trying to enter from opposite side off Stewart Street very difficult waiting for traffic as you need to cross over solid line.
Desk staff just ok i guess if you like a 2 to 3 word dialogue.
Was able to do an early check-in which was quite nice.
Room was as expected....except when i returned later to run a bath for my child; only the shower head was working. Was given another room, had to pack-up & un-pack again. Then to find out the fridge was not working and had to yet again change rooms. Not long after finally settling in the TV remote stopped
working. Front desk came fixed it only for it to crash again. I did not mind manually operating the TV but the 2nd time the girl left with the remote and never informed me if she was coming back or not. I had to go to the front desk and ask and was just told \"it not work'. I had to say \"ok i will do it manually\".
Serve yourself breakfast buffet style was great!

This was the WORST stay I have ever had with a hotel. First thing, it’s Valentine's Day weekend so I book a room with a jacuzzi. Conveniently enough, the room doesn’t actually have a working jacuzzi.

The hotel was trying to blame Expedia saying that Expedia doesn’t know that that room doesn’t have a working jacuzzi. Excuse me? If you knew that the jacuzzi didn’t work, why is it even listed in the first place? This isn’t Expedias fault, this is yours.

After that, the taps weren’t even correct. The hot was cold and the cold was hot. We went to the front desk & she told us that she would text her manager that evening (Fri Feb 14th) to let him know what was happening. She could not move us to a new room because the other rooms were dirty. She said the manager is in tomorrow (Feb 15th) morning and he’ll see what he can do.

We go down the next morning since we didn’t hear from anyone and the manager had absolutely no idea what was going on because the girl at the front desk FAILED to actually tell him what was happening. His excuse was that she bothers him about a lot of things already and probably didn’t want to bother him about that as well. They finally got us a room with a working jacuzzi, but this could have been a much simpler process had this been done right the first time.

Also, their breakfast is probably the most disappointing thing I have ever had. The yogurt was sour and the sausages were so over cooked you could use them as a door stop. My experience was awful.

The front desk person was not eager to help us. We were charged extra for needing a wheelchair accessible room. Then to be able to get to the room my husband had to shovel 50 feet of sidewalk and that was just to get us to the nexf wheelchair accessible level. The breakfast room is up 8 steps and not at all accessible that we could find, as reception seemed ambivalent to helping us.

The property is old needs renovations desperately. The shower ceiling was falling down , all the casing and door frames are broken and needing repair. They appeared to have painted over what was a kicked in door. The pop machines were out of order and the pillows and bedding were old and smelly. Not worth $100 a night at all. The only saving grace was the check in girl was very nice. Our first room had no heat and she at least found us a room with heat

Made the mistake again, booking at a whyndam hotel. 4th time in 3 different countries and always found the same results. Tipical whydman hotel. Porley maintained, beds the should have been replaced years ago. Broken heating systems, that barley keep the room warm. Just bare bones minimum. This hotel chain need to revamp to keep thoer clients happy.

When we arrived in our room, it was obvious that the floors had not been swept in sometime. We removed the area rug as it was filthy. I went to the front desk and asked for a dustpan and broom which they gave me and didn’t ask why I spent the next 10 minutes Sweeping the bathroom and the hotel room itself. We won’t stay here again.

The hotel was fine for somewhere to sleep for a few nights. It was basic but it was acceptably clean. My hair dryer didn't work, I had to get out the shower and call front desk because the shampoo dispenser was empty, but the staff were quick to respond. Breakfast was very basic but nice that it was included. My room needed a new shower curtain, the one in there was pretty grungy.

- the carpets were badly worn and the doors needed a new coat of paint
- the key cards didn't work well, had to go back to the desk for new ones
-the TV reception was terrible, low resolution picturesw and sound had static
- the microwave and coffee maker in the room were unplugged and couldn't reach behind to plug them in
- the clock radio didn't get any stations
- had to go up and down several sets of stairs to access the room'
- the free hot breakfast was only eggs and sausages. there was some cereal and bagels but all in all not very nice
- desk people did their best under the circumstances although when I asked about saving energy but not putting new sheets on the bed they said use the 'Do Not Disturb' sign when actually there was a sticker on the bathroom sink mirror saying they only changed the sheets every 3 days which was what I wanted anyway

This was a terrible motel. Room Ac was broken so it was very hot leading to a terrible sleep, toilet was broken and water continued running when flushed, door deadlock did not work, tv didn’t work properly, room was old and dated and the breakfast hot items were not available. Would never stay here again.
