Gorgeous resort, beach and awesome pool. They have everything for kids. We were in the comfort apartments. The first night we got dirty stained sheets with a long hair and smelled used. This was on a SOFA pull out bed mattress. Check your sheets before getting in bed. See pics on google maps. The half board buffet is the worst tasting food we have ever had. It's like they make it so bad you will pay at the 4 restaurants. It's like a mad cattle rush for the half board buffet. Kids will eat anything. A shame for such a cool place.

We checked into the apartment to find ants and a lizard. Doors were not sealed. Felt like Pontins chalet. We decided to pay to upgrade to a Premium mobile home, for an extra €35/night it was much better.

Accommodations and average, light bulbs were off
Front desk staff overwhelmed and gives minimal information at the check in. They should talk about all the options at the property. It took us a week to figure things out. It would make a huge difference if check in staff would explain different options at the resort.

Reception staff is very rude and has no courtesy for customers, they should be trained. On the other hand entertainment team is amazing - hats off to Petra and Antonio.
Overall not great experience:
- horrible check in experience
- understaffed reception so long queues
- everything is paid for additionally
- lack of instructions from reception
- reception line doesn’t work so you can’t reach out to them from room
- no tea or coffee in the room
- no electricity for a period of time
- TVs are obsolete and hardly work

The resort was nice but nothing like the pictures online, and no regular housekeeping. You have to pay for clean towels! Everything inside is priced separately, why not charge just 1 entrance fee for the kiddie park and rides?

Amenities were missing. No glass to drink water,no cubs to drink tea.phone wasnt working.after spending some time i got it work but there was no information anywhere how to reach to the reception. I managed to call from my mobile which cost me extra money, asked for missing items and they were never sent.very disappointed with the service.i woudnt stay here

Really great resort. Safe and good for family trips. The rooms are old and we have lots of bugs in it but the outdoor facilities and activities made up for it. Swimming pool is great and the beach is lovely. The dining option was great as well but we did realize some of the food were a bit off.

If I could give a negative 5 star review, I would.

The toilet didn’t flush properly. There was no toilet paper dispenser so the roll was on the floor. Shower spigot was falling off the wall and shower didn’t drain so you had to stand in nasty water. We found ants and centipedes.

The bedroom had ZERO electrical outlets so all devices had to be plugged in to charge in the kitchen or living room. The standard room is extremely small and outdated. The pics on Orbitz are photoshopped.

The description said “4 star upscale resort” and I was baffled when I saw the reality. Nothing is included in the price other than the substandard room and access to the pool and beach. Chaise lounges and umbrellas cost 7 euros each per day. I’ve stayed at a Motel 6 that was cleaner and in better condition.

Customer service is horrible. Long waits and walks to everything. Buffet had cheap ingredients, lousy wines and beers. “Juice” was dispensed from a soda machine and was basically syrup. Nothing was restocked timely so I ended up dispensing “juice” that was mostly water into a coffee mug.

We waited in line for check-in for 20 mins and they explained nothing. We had to ask a lot of questions. You have to search for parking and walk quite a distance to your room. There was no assistance offered with the luggage until I found a guy in a golf cart and asked him to help us. This was exactly the experience I would have expected in 1980s communist Yugoslavia, not in an EU country in 2025.

It was great place for family. Location and activities for children were the best .However limited vegetarian options in half board and breakfast was very dry and limited for adults though kids lived all the doughnuts. On the last day it was disappointing and we wnatwd ro run away from resort .as there was some foot ball tournament going on they jad hosted all teams dining room was no less than busy Market. Noisy and didnt have agood dining experience.

Resort has everything you need , apartments need some tlc. Kids pool had freezing water , this could be easily fixed. I think charging daily 5 euro for sun chair and 5 euro for umbrela is a bit ridiculous considering that you already paid for the stay there . Also Check in time is super late 4pm and check out is 10am . Everything else is was flawless .

Resort with many activities, party town on wkend

The resort area is very big and has many restaurants, activities and a long shore line.

Restaurant food quality was mediocre, we tried two restaurans in the resort area.

Rooms are quite nice but the problem for us were VERY noisy neighbours. They played loud music until 4 a.m. on both nights we stayed there so could not sleep well. The rooms have no sound proofing whatsoever.

The resort is amazing, food is delicious and staff is friendly. The apartment was ok but there was some strange interstellar knocking sound in the bathroom. The apartment was clean but during our three night stay nobody came to change the towels and make up the room. The swimming pools could be a problem because you can enter the swimming pool without washing your feet.

All the cleaners do is empty one bin each day, apart from waking you up 07.30-08.00 each day pushing trolleys past the window.
Having not been to croatia before found most staff seemed miserable/unacommodating. End of season so places closed , low key entertainment, maybe consider an indoor venue there’s enough space there ! Miles from civilisation , felt like an open prison lol , ok if you have a car to escape or if you’re half board and not fussed about going out. Pillows break your neck , too big. Long way to sone rooms to carry luggage , if infirm or have any walking difficulties, stay clear ! No point celebrating a birthday there they don’t make a fuss , pay for everything! Even Mayo at the pizza restaurant!

The apartments were not as expected. There is no view from the patios if you are on an upper level, you are staring at a concrete wall. The rooms did not have proper dishes, were not equipped to cook anything and we never saw a grill the whole week we were there. The resort has nice amenities but they sure want to ensure you are buying food at the resort versus cooking in your accomodations. They charge for everything, loungers by the pool, umbrellas, laundry, extra towels, etc. They also keep your passports as collateral to ensure you pay your bill prior to leaving the resort which is crazy. I wouldnt recommend this resort.

The resort is perfect for family with kids. A lot of activities available (although everything is for extra money), pools (towels are NOT provided, sitting and umbrelas - also for extra) and beaches. Food was great, variety available, all tastes good ( not including watered down juices). Very crowded in the restaurant, although tables are very quickly cleaned for next guests). Staff is mostly friendly, unless you stay a minute longer in the cafeteria - you'll get a look and be reminded that its time to leave). Rooms are comfortable, have everything you need. Towels are provided although not changed unless you ask for it.

Very nice organized resort. Good social distancing, as every rooms are separate. Huge space on the beach.
There are few pebbles at the entry in the water, but after that, water is very good, with sand, and shallow with hundreds of meters up to getting to deep waters.

Due to pandemic, the administration cleans the rooms only at request for a fee. You need to call reception in order to change towels.

It was fine. The 3star apartments were adequate, nothing special, but the À/C was excellent! My problem with the resort was paying for pool chairs and umbrellas daily. One would think that would be included in the resort fee which is not cheap. No organized chair and umbrella system on the beach either it’s basically just grab one that has nothing on it. Food options all taste the same. No easy way to get out of the resort compound if you don’t have a car, they don’t even have taxi recommendations. They should offer a shuttle bus to Nin at the very minimum, but they don’t. Did not feel like a resort at all it felt like I rented an abandoned heavily used room. It was fine though and the pools are nice the beach is close, just don’t spend any time in the rooms.

Good 3* apartment close to all the facilities although a little disappointed that our balcony had no view whatsoever - I think the downstairs apartments would be better in that respect. Amazing pool area especially for younger children. Great beach - very shallow for a long way out so good for children to play. Some reviewers didn’t like that everything was chargeable as extra even the sun loungers/parasols but I was expecting that & at least you didn’t have people out at 6am reserving the beds with towels at 6am and not even using them!! Felt everything was reasonably priced too. Loads of activities, lots of different restaurants/bars to choose from - would definitely go back.

Had a lovely two weeks at Zaton resort in a 4* 2 bedroom apartment apartment. Comfortable for a family of four.

The facilities on site are brilliant with the exception of the Bepo Kenoba restaurant which is awful.

Pools, play equipment and beach brilliant.

Biggest minus was the lack of child’s Cot when ordered in advance. Despite many many calls and a visits to reception it did not arrive till after midnight, totally unacceptable to expect a one year old to stay up so late. And even then it lacked a mattress which took a further two days to arrive.

This resort exceeded our expectation in every way. We stayed in one of their new apartments - it was lovely and clean. It felt like everything was brand new.

The resort itself was excellent. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. We enjoyed every one of them.

But the most important thing about the resort were the staff. The staff fussed over our 20 month toddler. The service we received everywhere was honestly fantastic.

The resort is a little bit out of the way. But with a rented car, it was not an issue. With everything on the resort, we did not really feel the need to venture out that often other than our planned day trips.

I cannot wait to come back with my family and friends! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Lovely apartments near beach.

Postives: The resort is lovely & v pleasant to stay in. It is huge but it doesn't seem too big if you're staying in the apartments. Apartments lovely & clean with plenty of space, comfortable beds, towels changed regularly. Staff v friendly, sea is like a warm bath, pool area is nice but as expected in August it is v busy. V child friendly & clean. Mini golf good & other facilities but everything to pay for in addition which soon mounted up. Nin & Zadar worth a visit but Zaton is about 1 to 1.5hrs away from most main Croatia tourist sights so we spent more of holiday relaxing than sightseeing.

Negatives: Everything more expensive than outside the resort so limit expenditure inside.
Paying for each sunbed & parasol by pool & beach when paid considerable amount for apartment stay already.
Limited space to cook as hob & microwave only + no work top.
Annoyed by constant scraping of chairs from other apartments which could be prevented by pads on chair legs.
Beach isn't private as advertised as others can pay to visit. However not over crowded. Limited sand for sandcastles.
Trip to Dugi Otok was a waste of money as advertised private beautiful beach was small, rocky with scrub land around & not private1 Although a little turquoise water & food nice on boat.

A fantastic resort on the coast.

Aside from the coast, the amenities were first class. Friendly, approachable staff. A nice array of shops, restaurants and bars. Perfect for a family holiday either in the apartments or camping. Kids would love it.
I made a point of trying the restaurants and bars. Service and food were very good. On site market is open from 7am and the girls in there are very good at helping you find what you need.

Our family of four enjoyed our vacation in this hotel. The apartment was modern and comfortable. We could have used a better service with replacing the towels and cleaning the room more frequently. As far as the actual resort, we were expecting a nicer looking, better kept-up beach, to match the fine accommodation; as well as the staff that would enforce its acclaimed concession status.

Resort maravilhoso para passar uns dias em família ou amigos. Há opções de quartos maiores e muita variedade de atrações para adultos e crianças. A praia é linda e vale a pena a estadia. A equipe é super atenciosa e prestativa. O local é seguro, tem restaurantes, padarias, cafés e um mercado para suporte ao turista. Você pode fazer suas refeições no quarto porque os apartamentos são grandes e com cozinha. Há uma varanda para secar a roupa e ficar lendo um livro ao som da natureza. As instalações são limpas e novas e todo a infra estrutura do resort é bem organizada.

God frokost med godt utvalg. Fin leilighet, men begynte å bære litt preg av å være slitt. Hyggelig personale.
Vi kom dit 1/10, og da hadde akkurat det ene badeanlegget stengt for sesongen, men det andre var åpent.
Det var fine aktiviteter for barn på kvelden, disco på scenen, og et område med hoppeslott og trampoliner. Discoen var gratis, men hoppeslott måtte man betale for.

Todella iso hotellialue, jonne isokin määrä ihmisiä mahtuu hyvin. Matala lapsille sopiva pitkä ranta, useampi uima-allasalue ja ravintola. Vähän kuin oma kylä. Siivooja kävi viikon aikana kerran tuomassa puhtaat pyyhkeet, siivousta ei tehty kertaakaan, sitä oli kaivannut edes kerran pari.

Zur Info vorab, nach unserem Besuch wird das Resort Ganz oder teilweise für Renovieruns und Sanierungs arbeiten für ca ein halbes Jahr geschlossen, dass konnte ich nicht so ganz rauslesen.

Ansonsten einige Auswahlmöglichkeiten an Essen,
Karten Übersetzung für deutsch etwas überarbeitungsbedürftig.

Was ich schade finde das man für Liege und Schirm bezahlen soll. Das hätte man für Appartment Gäste sicherlich kostenlos machen können.

Ansonsten konnten wir uns nicht beklagen.

Villaggio bello ma con alcune pecche

Villaggio molto grande , con piscine molto belle e un’area commerciale con negozi , bar e ristoranti . Personale molto gentile e disponibile . Ottimo per chi ha bambini . Una cosa negativa è la spiaggia , il villaggio è direttamente sul mare ma il mare non è accessibile a tutti essendoci una cementata che divide la spiaggia ( di sassi e sabbia grossa ) dal mare . Per chi ha problemi motori non si può scendere in acqua. Un’altra cosa negativa è il costo degli ombrelloni , 2 lettini ed un ombrellone sia in spiaggia che in piscina a 19 euro , dovrebbero essere inclusi nel costo della camera che è già abbastanza alto . La camera era ampia pulita ma abbastanza vecchia , il condizionatore gocciolava e non tutte le luci erano funzionanti . Notevole anche la distanza tra il parcheggio e l’appartamento.

Bei dem Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet!
Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie für 10 Tage im August 2025 vor Ort.
Zimmer: das Zimmer war OK, aber mehr auch nicht. Direkt am ersten Tag haben wir reklamiert, dass die Tür des Kühlschrankes insofern defekt war, dass man keine Flaschen in die Tür packen konnte. die Halterung war herausgebrochen. Da es für uns gerade als Selbstversorger mit wenig Platz im kleinen Kühlschrank wichtig war hatten wir auf schnelle Reparatur gehofft. zweimal waren nette Techniker da und haben sich den Schaden angeschaut- bis zur Abreise tat sich aber nichts.
Reinigung/Bettwäsche/Handtücher: eine Reinigung erfolgte während 10 Tagen Aufenthalt nicht, neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher erst nach Anforderung/Reklamation nach 7 Tagen via Email (den Besuch der Rezeption haben wir uns gespart, da dort immer lange Schlangen mit mind. einer halben Stunde Wartezeit waren.)
sonstiges: Supermarkt deutlich teurer als außerhalb der Anlage. auch Speisen und Getränke übermäßig teuer. Anlage total überlaufen. Neuer Pool auch überfüllt.
Sogar unseren Kindern war es in der Anlage zu rummelig/Kirmesfahrgeschäfte gab es natürlich auch in der Anlage.
Wir waren froh, dass wir mit dem Auto mobil waren und nach Nin an den Strand konnten. Hier war auch kein Sonnenmilchfilm auf dem Meerwasser.
Fazit: so eine Unterkunft bekommt man außerhalb der Anlage für den halben Preis von privaten Anbietern und wenn man unbedingt das Anlagenleben braucht, kann man dort abends auch so hingehen.

Kein cent Wert! Man soll für liege und Schirm 19 Euro zahlen und leute die am Campingplatz sind bringen ihre eigene Liegestühle usw mit so das man weder Aussicht aufs meer noch eine Aussicht auf den Strand hat! Klein kinder auf E scooter fahren unkontrolliert herum so das man wirklich angst haben muss angefahren zu werden!! Die Barkeeper wollen keine cocktails usw mixen bzw am liebsten nur die dosen aus dem Kühlschrank weiter geben! Die life guards sitzen lieber zusammen in der sonne und sind live auf tiktok! Für das geld was man da zahlt empfehle ich lieber eine andere Unterkunft wenn man als Familie mit kleinkinder verreisen möchte!

We enjoyed our stay at the Zaton Holiday resort. The food was ok and the resort itself big enough. Special thanks to the animation team. They were always nice and entertaining our Kids. Special thanks to Antonia, Leona, Maja and Ingrid.
Next time it would be nice to see maybe a show witch shows a bit more of the Croatian Culture, dance etc…
The only negative thing is that we have to pay for sun-bed at the pool. You pay already enough money for your journey.

Zaton Holiday Resort is a beautiful and well-maintained place, ideal for a family vacation. The facilities are great, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. However, the prices for sunbeds at the pool are ridiculously high — €10 per bed is just too much.

The on-site supermarket has decent prices for a camping resort, and you can find most essentials there. A big plus: there’s a fantastic bakery within walking distance in Nin — definitely a must-visit for a fresh and affordable breakfast!

El servicio lento acogedor e incompetente, yo reservé para el 31/07/2025 y quise cambiar de día para el 30/07/2025 y la página me dijo que el establecimiento estaba lleno y no me podía cambiar la fecha con ello correspondía una penalización del pago del 30% y a su vez en la pagina de Hotels.com podía perfectamente reservar para el día 30/07/2025, hay que bien entender que yo no podía comunicar con nadie y solo con el personal virtual y esto es para mí muy desagradable y lo paradoxal y imposibilidad de poder hacer la gestión y las explicaciones por parte de Hotels.com nulas porque yo pagué la penalización y me aloje el día 30/07/2025 sin ningún problema, así que la gestión de Hotels.com fue muy nula y desagradable para mí, atentamente Inmaculada Minguet

Das Zimmer war dreckig, viele Möbelstücke stark beschädigt. Schimmel im Bad lose Stromkabel und vieles mehr. Trotz Beschwerde Beschwerde bei der Rezeption gab es keine Reaktion. Sind sehr unzufrieden gewesen.
