My husband was unwell and staff changed our accommodation for us as he couldn't manage stairs. Staff were unbelievably kind and patient with my husband who was experiencing difficulties. Every member of staff made sure we were comfortable.

Our beautiful young receptionist Molly was smiling, efficient and reassuring. The Manager Gareth patient and extremely accommodating. We couldn't believe the kindness we met, truly so unexpected but so welcome at a time when we needed support. Patricia & Kevin Thornton.

No restaurant service.

The check in was stilted because Reception was unmanned. Received phone call to let us know only hours beforehand. Very few people were staying and it was obvious that the accommodation is not a focus of their business. Ate in their restaurant Saturday night which was good. However not advised until 5.30 Sunday that the restaurant was closed Sunday night. Closest town is 15kms away. We had planned on a meal and drinks where we were staying and these plans were squashed. The poor bar man that told us did apologise and said we should have been influenced when we booked. I only booked there because it had a restaurant on premises.

Check-in was perfect, but I could not get anyone to replenish soap and shampoo over the long weekend. Peter from Golf Pro shop tried his level best to help and was very accommodating. Overall a great weekend out. Thanks a lot Riverside Oaks Golf Resort.

An old age problem ! Stayed overnight in a lodge then drove car to main building and negotiate flight of stairs to reception and bar/bistro. Not bad for a 76 year old who had his right knee replaced 3 months ago.All good, staff, room, service etc were excellent.

Kangaroos everywhere

We didn't expect it to be like a big house with lots of room and a common room with a kitchen. It was a little noisy, both from the common room and the room above us.
Service was great, the breakfast is great, the pool was awesome too. Really fun to swim with the locals. Not only talking about Kangaroos... so many Kangaroos.

The room we stayed in was very big and well furnished with great views of the golf course. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
The only let down was the restaurant, I know we are in strange times with covid 19 but not a big menu and no table service in relation to drinks and ordering dinner. Have said that we are no golfers and we’re just having a weekend away. I would have no hesitation in recommending any one to stay.

Quiet and peacefull

We stayed for one night. The rooms were pleasant, but the air conditioning wasn't working. This was not an issue for us as it was not particularly hot or cold when we stayed. There was a missing cover on the central light in our room. The light was working and it didn't impact on our stay, but was not a good look for an otherwise pleasantly decorated room. There was a living and kitchen central area within our lodge for larger groups to congregate.
We ate in the Brasserie on a busy Saturday night. The meals were lovely and the service polite and prompt.

First night stay was horrible out of the 4 night stay due to alarm beeping every 50 sec. Took a few phone calls following day to have this fixed.
Apart from that stay was lovely. Bathroom clean n very big. Bed n pillows very comfortable.
Tuesday schnitzels night special was yummo n big.
Very relaxing stay overall.

Relaxing setting with friendly staff

Such a beautiful spot to stay with so much wildlife around! The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay, even housekeeping who replaced our old room iron.
The only downside to the accommodation is that the lodge design and furnishings mean that any sound echoes down the corridors, especially if you are staying with noisy guests.
Overall a very relaxing, peaceful and pleasant stay.

The stay overall was marred by an alarm going off in the room adjacent us all night, so no sleep as there was no one to contact, even when knocking on the door at 2am in the morning, reception closed and no answer on every phone number we could find, no security ??

This is a great resort and the staff at the pro shop are most helpful . However! We stayed for a total of 6 days and during that time our suite was only cleaned once. Not sure why that is.

Nice Hotel for golf

We have stayed at the hotel for 1night and 2days only. It was our wedding anniversary and had a good round of golf to start the day.During the round of gold, my wife somehow misplaced a sand wedge (Adams golf)...and have told the pro shop staff and the reception staff. But there have been no email or response from the resort. We have stayed on the lower floor of the hotel and the noise from the 2nd floor woke us during the night.( floor sound).

We stayed in for 6 nights and everything was very good. Even when there was a problem when there was a problem with the resort loosing water, the reception staff kept us fully informed and gave us bottles of water.
Breakfast was included and it was excellent. The restaurant meals were very good too. The two golf courses were a pleasure to play on and the staff in the pro-shop were excellennt.

Could be good..

I'd like to like this hotel but it had a few things that made it pretty difficult to.
Firstly, the room itself was really nice - big, comfy bed, nice contents. But there a few other things - some kind of equipment outside (air con?) was making a continuous thumping noise all night right outside my room: the free wifi was not even worth connecting to, and if you're on the ground floor and have someone directly above you, you'll share the experience....

I hope they can improve these things because the room and location are very good.

Great accommodation , disappointing food

We stayed overnight for a short break in the Blue Mountains. Lovely setting and facilities but the bistro was very disappointing. Many of the advertised menu items for dinner in the bistro were not available and they had even run out of chips to accompany meals. I was served four snow peas instead of broccollini with a very large amount of mashed potato. Service was slow and the staff seemed to spend a lot of time chatting to each other. Breakfast was very mediocre. The scrambled eggs were tasteless and everything was semi-cold. Hash browns weren't cooked through. I would expect much better from a facility of this standard.

We were the only guests during our stay. The facilities are only a few years old and still in wonderful condition. The venue would be a perfect location for a group getaway as everyone can have their own bedroom and bathroom and there is a communal lounge room and kitchen facilities.

Gate pass failed. Cold shower - room 103

We feel sorry for the security guard late Saturday night having to let us in the main gate as the room pass card wouldn't work. The 3 lodges are new and beautifully appointed - big rooms, internal sitting areas and clean as a whistle until we needed to take a hot shower before bed - no hot water! We ran the shower tap for a couple of minutes and gave up thinking the other golfers had drained the hot water tank? We boiled the kettle and made do with a hot washer. We tried again 7.30am and the water was even colder. Remind the house keepers to switch on the water unit for weekend stays as we a guessing the rooms are not booked much during the week. Lastly, breakfast was not available until 9am in the brasserie and only for 1 hour was inconvenient for us. However, a georgeous location, function area and for golfers, a course well designed especially now the gardens have matured. Overseas visitors will love how casually the local kangaroos graze on the greens.

Peaceful Getaway

Riverside Oaks is a bit \"off-the-beaten-track\" in a secluded yet very tranquil spot - ideal for getting away from it all. The accommodation is separate from the main reception and a little hard to find first time. Once settled in, the rooms are spacious, very modern, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Air conditioning is super-quiet and very efficient, beds were comfortable and bathroom/shower facilities good. Plenty of wildlife around the grounds adds to the peace & tranquility.

Great for Golfers

Accommodation was new - very poor sound proofing though so if you want a quiet night and you have neighbours coming and going then good luck. There was no restaurant but there was a brasserie. Food was excellent there though and the staff were great.

Did not find the Gym but there was a pool.
