At check in we were given a nice room with a balcony but the bed was extremely hard and worn out so that we complained about it and asked for another room which was promptly given to us in minutes. This time the whole room and bathroom were newer and the bed was much much softer so that this might imply that they are refurbishing and updating the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was average and quick to become inadequate but the restaurant on the premises with the same name and owner is a great restaurant worth the stop! We ate there every night of our stay with enormous satisfaction.

Wonderful stay in Liguria
We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at this hotel. It is a close walk to the harbor and other local restaurants but we enjoyed dining at Manuelina for dinner not only for the wonderful food but the great service (especially from our waiter, Emelio). The location of Recco is close to other beautiful towns in the area so you can't go wrong staying at La Villa. We will come back, no doubt about it!

Ett fyrstjärnigt hotell under all kritik. Vi fick ett rum utan fungerande toalett - trots löfte om att det skulle lagas gjordes det inte. I efterhand visade det sig att man vetat om bristen och ändå gett oss rummet. Säkerhetsskåpet fungerade inte under hela tiden. Den manliga frukostvärden dag II påminde om Manuel i Pang i bygget/Faulty Towers. Helt ointresserad av gästerna, mötte i blicken, fyllde inte på tomma fat på buffén o.s.v. Sedan en hotellchef som inte bryr sig om klagomål utan försöker förklara bort dem.

Lätta att parkera på hotellets område om man kommer med bil. Nära Autostradan, vilket var en fördel om man stannar för övernattning och reser vidare. Trevlig pool. Promenad avstånd till havet . Ca 15 min. Sparsam frukost. Rent och mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Albergo datato che non merita le stelle di cui si fregia.Tre *** sarebbero anche troppe. Stanza da claustrofobia - lampade fulminate - poltrone con bracciolo rotto-accappatoi che hanno fatto la guerra 15-18 -colazione scarsa anche per una sola persona..figuriamoci per due -tastiera del computer nella hall così sudicia da farti prendere una malattia, mai vista roba del genere!! Unica nota positiva la cortesia e buona volontà della signora Teresa alla reception. Sono necessari urgenti investimenti in queste condizioni non si possono pretendere 110 euro a notte!!!!!...e neanche di avere clienti.

Heel erg slechte kamer aico werkte niet goed en tikte. Badkamer met schimmels muren in de kamer waar lekkage heeft gezeten behang was helemaal los en bol. Ook geen balkon zoals in de beschrijving stond. Meer 2 sterren dan 4 sterren.

L'hôtel nest pas très bien situé car près d'une grande route et donc pas mal de bruit et une partie de la vue n'est pas très belle. Mais facilité d'accès au centre ville et de la plage car tout à côté. Les chambres sont confortables et propres. La piscine est impeccable. Je recommande le restaurant. La nourriture y est excellente, le service impeccable et l'accueil chaleureux.

Une première nuit en Italie agréable. En particulier la découverte de la chaîne des restaurants \"Unione Ristoranti Buon Ricordo\". Nous avons apprécié le restaurant de chez Manuelina et sa célébre focaccia, accueil et repas tout à fait remarquables. En plus en tant que client de l'hôtel nous avons eut droit à une réduction. Ce qui a été le point de départ d'un parcours gastronomique en Italie. Hôtel calme, parking facile et gratuit.
