This time stayed in the villa across the street from the main hotel, was very spacious and wonderful always grateful for the upgrade and kindness from the staff!

The Hotel is located in the town centre which is really fantastic. However, the children younger than 12 years old, can’t use their swimming pool and spa which makes your stay complicated if you come with family. Breakfast options are pretty poor, even espresso is not properly done. The personnel is ok, they speak all major languages so this part is really great. My recommendation for the management is to spend slightly more money on maintenance and improvement of the hotel - it will pays off very well. It wouldn’t require huge increases in spending, but would make things much better for the guests. Thanks very much.

This is a beautiful restored historic hotel. My room was small twin bed single room, perfect for one traveler. I had beautiful outdoor space on a terrace outside my room. Breakfast was included, had everything I needed. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The location was convenient to the train station, the ferries, the buses, shopping and restaurants. And very close to the beach!

In a very nice location. Steps away from everything the town has to offer but not stuck in the middle of it. No traffic on the streets adjacent so quieter than other areas. Only thing that could be improved is the floor of the shower. It’s very slick so a bit of a hazard.

Second time staying here and that is for this reason, this place is great, best hotel in the region, a bit off the main drag in a good way, steps from beach, restaurants, grocery store, cafe etc. the staff is amazing the breakfast is actually pretty decent by Italian standards. My friend and I stayed here only for one night, but we had such a wonderful time! The staff here is so friendly and pleasant, and they're also super helpful. The room was cozy, but comfortable, and we were able to order breakfast right to the room in the morning for a small charge. (However, they have a lovely breakfast buffet downstairs!) The town is sooo beautiful and walkable, and there's plenty of dining options, cafes, gelaterias, and beaches nearby. I would totally return here again!

Breakfasts were plentiful and well laid out, no queueing for a table. 2 minutes walk from the centre with shops and restaurants, it could not be more convenient. Service is very attentive and front desk very helpful. Impressed with how seamlessly the staff would swtich between multiple languages for guests. English, French, Italian and German. Great location, walking distsnce to the rail ststion, restaurants and shopping but far enough away to be peacful and quiet at night. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

A beautiful hotel! We were very pleasantly greeted by the staff and all staff during our stay was exceptional and professional. We were upgraded to a very large room with a bed in a loft. The room spacious and beautiful. I would mention the metal spiral staircase leading to the bed a bit challenging and the bed area a bit warm. The bed, linens and towels all very good.the location was perfect. I will definitely return to this property!

Amazing spa access, superb location in the town center, 6 mins walk to train station + 3 mins walk to restaurants row and it's the nearest town next to Portofino. Stayed there for 4 days, 3 nights....the most amazing thing is the Spa access, that even though apart from the fact steam room was out of order. Don't forget to check out all the buttons in the warm 31 degrees swimming pool. Love the super hot and cold bath plus the sauna...as a family, we've really enjoyed the Spa right at the end of the day. Staff was really friendly and helpful in general, makes us feel like home away from home. Breakfast was great especially it's in a glass room, however it's even better if they would consider changing their daily varieties for guests who stay there for a couple of days especially. We really appreciate the special upgrade and spa arrangement for our boy. Bravo to everyone!

We chose this hotel because it was a heritage building, a small-ish hotel just metres from the sea front and it did not disappoint. It has been beautifully restored and has a lovely, romantic feel. We had a standard double room which was fine - few frills but elevated by the patio area accessed by double doors from our room and the lovely view from it out across the rooftops of the town and to the hills behind. Shower was hot & powerful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, all staff really pleasant and helpful. The Spa in the basement provided a welcome sanctuary on a rainy day, and the treatments were awesome. If four star frills (eg sound proof rooms. tea making facilities, iron etc) then pay for a better room or stay elsewhere. We didn’t care about any of these things as for us this was authentic Italy and that was exactly what we wanted. I would be very happy to return.

An of grandeur comes as standard at this beautiful hotel. Situated close to the rail station and loaded with facilities, our rate included spa access and breakfast. One tiny suggestion, would be be is that the coffee is served fresh or the urn kept topped up.

The age of the property made the elevator a bit challenging because it was so small and the air conditioning would work for two hours and then turn off. The property is completely remodeled and in excellent condition, however our room had a joining room with a pocket door. We could clearly hear the whispering conversations of the couple in the next room as well as when they used the toilet or the shower. In fact we heard the gentleman urinating. We can only assume they heard us as well.
The next day the receptionists chuckled when we informed them about the issue which gave us the impression that they were already aware it existed.
The check in itself was quick but they did not communicate the key points. We were told that our rate didn't include the spa. But I found the confirmation that clearly stated that spa was included, but it was too late since the spa was already booked due to covid restrictions. They never told us there was a private beach area either. When we inquired, it was also fully booked.
The AC is controlled at the front desk and they failed to rest the set point from 24C which is the unoccupied setpoint. I went to the front desk to inform reception and she said she reset the setpoint to 16C. I tried to tell her it kept turning off she insisted it would be fine. It wasn't and I ended up opening the windows so we could sleep.
The breakfast was really good with several options.

This is an elegant hotel located in the center of SLM, convenient for strolls around the town. The front desk and restaurant staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are elegant, modern and very clean. We visited with two small children (infant and young toddler) and they were extremely accommodating and patient with their needs. Highly recommend it!

The hotel itself is beautiful and very centrally located in town. We were woken up throughout the night by our neighbours. Ours rooms were separated by a thin door. Very noisy. Reception staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. Nice spa facilities, although we had to pay extra to use them. Parking also cost an additional fee, so we parked on the street. Breakfast was good and service was good. On the whole, it was a little underwhelming.

The hotel is perfectly positioned and it’s an enjoyable walk to Portofino a few kilometres away. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and thoughtful even allowed me to stay having booked the wrong night online. The restaurant is also very good.

Central location to Santa Margherita and the beach. We walked to Portofino in just over an hour so great as a hub. We visited over an Italian holiday, so paid a lot for a very small room. It’s very clean, nicely refurbished and beautiful from the outside but I would recommend paying for a bigger room.

Charming hotel in a super location! We know the area well, so choose it specifically for this. Delighted to be allowed an early check-in (over 2hrs) with no hassle. Same, re baggage storage the day after. Room & facilities were excellent, albeit the room was a bit small (no room to fully open suitcase on the floor - my unique test!) Breakfast was very good & enjoyed outside in the lovely courtyard. Overall very happy & we will return next year. Proximity/access to beach is somewhat misleading as it’s 10mins away, but equally we knew this in advance so it wasn’t an issue for us.
