Didn't really know what to expect before we arrived but were just blown away by our stay at Santuari De Cura. Our room was at least double the size of a normal hotel room and the terrace overlooking the courtyard with magnificent view to the ocean and across much of Mallorca was incredible.

We had the half lodging which entitled us to breakfast (standard for all guests and dinner. Everything was top notch, a standard buffet but everything so fresh it seemed better than normal hotels. Initially reluctant abojut dinner across the three nights of the stay, it was actually a relief to come back each night and have dinner in the restaurant. The menu was not the full al la carte but there was enough choice to allow us a diferent three course meal each night. The fact that the restaurant was full for lunch and dinner with many of the diners not guests of the hotel says a lot about how good the restaurant how good the restaurant actually was.

An 700 year old monastery on top of a hill with panoramic views, really interesting grounds (historical and there were quite a few tour groups arriving each day to visit demonstrates how unique this property is.

Great value for money, my spouse and me both agreed, easily in our top 5 best places we have ever stayed at.

Fantastic location and unique accommodation with amazing island views. Room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. All the staff were excellent, very professional and warmly welcoming. The restaurant on site is really good, with plenty of choice of top quality options. We stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant every night. We loved our stay here and, providing you are comfortable with the winding approach up to the hotel, would throughly recommend it to other travellers.

Staff was super unfriendly and worst service ever! The location is pretty nice because it has breathtaking views but the rooms are horrible nothing like the pictures and cero details not even water on the second day! Shower is extra small and was not cleaned.

There are blood mark on the sheet. It's so difficult to drive to the hotel. The road is zigzag with sharp turn all the way to the top of the mountain. There is no air condition in the room so even if it's on the top of the mountain, it's a bit hot during night.

For the price, this hotel is an absolute steal! it's so beautiful and offers incredible views. BE WARNED though, the hotel is located at the verrrrrrrry top of a mountain so bring snacks as there are no shops near by. But we didnt mind that at all. If you want some hustle and bustle this hotel is not for you but for those that want to get away.

We drove up and down the mountain for day trips and dinner reservations. The food wasn't our cup of tea, but that is down to preference.

The rooms were cold upon entry, but very clean but once you turn the radiators on it becomes quite comfy.

The beds don't look like much but i PROMISE you, you're about to get the best nights sleep you've had in months. So very comfortable.

Lacked the right ambience and quality for the pric

Amazing location on top of mountain offering views for miles around in multiple directions. Room large but facilities not in particularly good state of repair or quality eg shower hose and door partly broken, badly fitted bed sheet, cheap toilet paper. Restaurant lacked ambience as a former sanctuary and David Bowie music hardly fitted the refectory - a missed opportunity to play something meditative and so create an appropriate feel. Evening meal good but breakfast limited in options with no hot food eg omelette available. Smells from food cooking inevitably wafted into the rooms above as did noise from the kitchen. We left in thick fog for 5km down the quite challenging drive towards Palma. Not luxurious but still worth a visit.

Views of the island to die for !!

Great location with wonderful views. Peaceful as it is located on the top of a mountain in the countryside. Nice restaurant with impeccable service. Getting up to the Santuari is quite a drive with lots of twists and turns along the way. Make sure you ready for the drive after dark !! The rooms are exceedingly basic, a good size and clean, beds not 100 % comfortable !! Overall I had a good experience !!

Very clean room. Friendly staff. Could be a little more thorough with administration but overall it was a great stay. High season you need air con but it’s just about manageable without (my room didn’t have aircon).

Road is simple up to the mountain (2way road).

Good value and well worth the excellent views and restaurant experience.

A real sanctuary

Booked last minute, a very peaceful stay, not near the sea or with a pool, so not a crowd of rowdy guests. From our room you could sea the Bay of Palma to the South, Bay of Alcudia in the North and the mountains to the West. The views were stunning, great food in the restaurant and at 534 metres was a little cooler than the stifling heat below.

This is a must-stay place.

The drive up is spectacular. The guy working reception was extremely nice. The entire setting is just majestic. On the way to our room we didn’t quite know what to expect - older places like this can be run down or weird. But the room was amazing - spacious, huge bed, expansive bathroom, epic water pressure. The memory foam bed was just what I was needing after two weeks of sleeping on mostly terrible beds. And then we had dinner. My fiancé and I both agreed that it was probably one of the top meals of our trip. And the “cardinal” dessert may have been the best dessert we’d ever had. This place is a hidden gem. Don’t let whatever that “1-star rating” is scare you. 100% worth a stay.

Well didn’t know that the check in stops at 10:00 PM. So I just paid for a room and didn’t even get to stay in it so that was very disappointing. I definitely got screwed over but Hotels.com please put it in big bold letters that the check in ends at 10:00 PM for whoever books hotel through you guys so it’s not a waste of money.

Great place for peace and tranquility

A 13th Century monastery converted into a hotel means peace and tranquility! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There’s no hustle and bustle or noise from touristy attractions just peace and quiet, ideal if you want to get away from it all. As you can expect there is no swimming pool but we hired a car and travelled to the many sandy Majorcan beaches each day. The food and service was excellent throughout our stay. The area is great for cyclists as well.

Our only disappointment was that we requested a double room but when we arrived and were shown to our room we had two single beds but we made the most of it and pushed them together. This did not dampen our stay though.

It was lovely waking up in the morning to see the Majorcan landscape from every direction and then seeing the beautiful sunsets from high up on the mountainside.

We will definitely be returning to this hotel and would recommend for anyone needing some rest and relaxation or those that want to challenge themselves on one of the top ten cycling challenges in Majorca!

A spectacular location set at the top of a hill. The room was clean and quiet. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly.
There is a restaurant at the hotel, but I found the evening meal to be expensive and poor quality, though the service was good. Breakfast was pleasant but with a limited choices.

Nice place in rural Majorca

Arrived here around 11pm in the evening from a late-ish flight. Be prepared for a ten minute drive up a mountain road complete with hairpin bends. Not for the faint-hearted, especially when it's pitch black! Nonetheless, you get used to it. Follow the signs from the small village at the bottom of the mountain, Randa. You eventually get to a huge round antenna that resembles a water tower from a distance. Breathe a sigh of relief - you're nearly there! Top tip - apparently hotel reception closes at 11pm. We were not aware of this. Found an e-mail when we got to the room explaining 11pm would be the latest they would wait and after this, check-in would not be possible (although this was sent after 10pm that night). What we would have done if the flight was just 10-15 minutes late, I don't know. Probably sleep with the sheep that adorn the area surrounding the hotel, though they seemed friendly so that wouldn't have been so baa-ad.

Gorgeous views from the room. The drive up the mountain was definitely worth it considering the tranquility you do get up here. We weren't in Majorca for long and tried to 'cram in' as much as possible but if we had been, it would have been great just to relax and take a walk around the monastery one evening. Did not try the restaurant so can't comment on that sorry.

Rooms fine. Decent size. Nice bathroom, obviously recently refurbished. Small fridge in room to keep your San Miguel or Estrella cool, depending on your preference.

We had a large double aspect clean room with great views, it was well laid out with plenty of space and a good sized wardrobe. Shower room with toiletries and plenty of towels. Restaurant had a good continental breakfast selection, and a wide choice of typical Majorcan food for evening meals. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful setting, nice room with lovely views. Breakfast was ok for price but no hot/cooked options available. Nice food for dinner but beware, they charge you for the olives & bread that they provide, even after we asked & the waiter told us it was complimentary. On check out we were delayed 15 minutes as the receptionist was no where to be seen. We had to phone him & received no apology whatsoever when he finally arrived. Not ideal as we had a flight to catch. We had also informed them the day before that we'd check out when they opened at 8am. Don't forget there is no fridge or kettle in the room but reception has a fridge you can use. Assides from these issues this is a scenic, tranquil place & good value for money.

Interesting location & unique atmosphere

If you seek originality and want to see beyond the Mallorcan beaches, than this place is a good choice for you. It is a bit of a ride but well worth it. The atmosphere is very calming and overview of the area is majestically scenic. Local restaurant is also very good, but if you want something else a 20 min drive will get you to the variety of place.

Secluded Hotel with spiritual History

This is not for the usual holiday maker , it is situated in a secluded hilly area. The views are stunning with spectacular sun-sets over the distant mountains. You need a car to be able to get about this is a necessity.
The food is excellent if limited. The restaurant Staff are very helpful We can't comment on any other staff as we didn't come into contact us

It was beautiful and relaxing although we were given two single beds which was not ideal. The drive up is not for the faint of heart or, as we discovered, for those planning to drive from there to the airport at 3.30am! Place is stunning though, the restaurant served great dinner and if you're looking for peace and quiet it's perfect.

Great 360 degree view of most of Mallorca

I stayed here for 9 nights i april 2016. The room was basic and clean with a great view over West Mallorca and Palma de Mallorca. The breakfast was very and there was plenty to choose from. They only change the towels every 3 days, so if you need a change of towels more often you need to bring your own towels.

Disappointing Visit to rooftop

Of the 3 staff members we encountered 2 were extremely rude with poor English skills and negative, aggressive attitudes. At least one of the staff members was visibly polite and friendly to Spanish speakers, but extremely rude to Germans and other foreigners. The other staff member who showed us to our room and checked us in was more helpful and friendly however. The location was superb, however our room faced a courtyard where cyclists hung out from the early morning, so we felt we did not have sufficient privacy because we had to keep our shutters closed and had no view. The room was clean and comfortable if spartan. We will definitely not be returning as we were not made to feel welcome and thus were highly disappointed.

Overordnedet var hotellet fint og havde en fantastisk udsigt over Mallorca.
Receptionisterne var søde og imødekommende. Da vi kom til hotellet, var vi sultene og der blev i receptionen sagt, at cafeen var åben og serverede frokost. Da vi ankom til cafeen, mødte vi en medarbejder der hverken hilste eller kiggede på os. Da vi sagde hej og spurgte om vi kunne købe mad, virkede hun irriteteret og sagde at restauranten først åbnede kl. 19. Vi satte os og undersøgte andre muligheder for at finde frokost. En anden tjener gik forbi og jeg spurgte om de ikke stadig serverede frokost. Flere på hotellet talte ikke meget engelsk, men det lykkedes ham okay at komunikere, at restauranten faktisk havde åbent og vi fik et menukort. Maden var nogenlunde, men meget dyr i forhold til smagsoplevelsen.
Ang. mad var hotellets morgenmad heller ikke imponerende. Æg og bacon var koldt og havde vist stået for længe. Sidste dag var der intet bacon, mælk, kun lidt pålæg, i det hele taget et beskedent udvalg af det hele en halv time før morgenmaden lukkede. Tallerkener skulle man pludselig gå på opdagelse efter. Frugten var dog frisk og lækker.
Omgivelser trækker det hele op og der er søde, vilde får og katte. Da der ikke er meget i nærheden, er det rart at have en bil. Man skal dog være opmærksom på at vejen derop ikke er for alle, da den er smal og med snoede veje.
Det er en oplevelse at være deroppe, men hotellet byder ikke på de mest interesante oplevelser.

Abbiamo trascorso 12 giorni in questa struttura bellissima. Se cercate un posto in cui rilassarvi, godere di un bel tramonto e delle stelle cadenti questo è il posto giusto!
È vero che la strada è un po' tortuosa, però è ben asfaltata e non ci sono buche, basta andare piano e godersi il paesaggio.
Le stanze superior sono spaziose e vengono pulite regolarmente, le uniche note negative sono due: cattivo odore che esce dagli scarichi perché non ci sono i tappi! E mancanza di aspirapolvere, infatti le stanze vengono pulite solamente con la scopa e a terra resta molta polvere.
Il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile, e il servizio lavanderia è efficiente.
Consigliato inoltre per l'ottima posizione, infatti da qui sarà comodo visitare l'isola nella sua interezza.

Perfect for Peace and Quiet
This hotel is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. It’s about a 15-minute drive up a winding mountain road — so better skip that extra beer! Popping quickly into the city and back isn’t really an option, but the hotel makes up for it with a great restaurant and a stunning view overlooking all of Palma. There are three room categories: Suites and Superior rooms are in the main building and have AC, while the Standard rooms are in an annex and feel more like a well-kept hostal. All in all, it’s a great choice for a short stay.

Je vous déconseille vivement d’y dormir.
Nous sommes arrivés dimanche. Le syphon du lavabo fuit ( et pas qu’un peu) nous l’avons signalé de suite. Une personne devait venir, 5 nuits plus tard rien a changé. De plus, pas de pressions dans la douche et eau chaude quasi inexistante. Matelas très mou. Accueil au restaurant laisse à désirer.
Le seul point positif ? La vue.

Séjour hors du monde dans un monastère bien équipé

Lieu très agréable, reposant, beaux restes au niveau architecture dans le jardin, belle vue sur 360 d, accès pas très aisé, route tortueuse .

Pour l’hotel, c’est vraiment un emplacement unique. Les chambres sont belle et les terrasses sont grandes. La personne à l’accueil est vraiment incroyable. Le site et l’emplacement est tellement beau et impressionnant surtout en fin de journée. Le seul bémol est le restaurant. Bien que la nourriture est très bonne, le service est vraiment à améliorer, particulièrement le soir. Bien qu’en manque de staff, les gens en charge du restaurant sont particulièrement bête. Chère payer pour recevoir un service comme ça.

Séjour dans un ancien monastère

Le séjour s'est vraiment bien passé. Nous avons eu l'opportunité d'échanger avec une jeune personne qui nous a beaucoup aidé, que ce soit pour louer une voiture ou pour les activités. C'était vraiment agréable de parler avec elle.

1 Seul bémol. Malheureusement, l'hôtel n'a pas pris en compte ou n'a pas correctement compris notre heure d'arrivée, ce qui nous a contraints à payer une nuit de plus de 97 €. De plus, la personne qui nous a reçus n'était absolument pas aimable et nous a clairement fait comprendre qu'on la dérangeait.

À part cet incident, notre séjour s'est très bien passé.

Sehr schöne Aussicht über die ganze Insel. Es ist angenehm windig, ruhig und sehr gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet, jedoch völlig ausreichend. Das Frühstück lässt bezüglich Frische etwas zu Wünschen übrig, ist aber erträglich. Im Großen und Ganzen habe ich den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Bereitet euch jedoch auf einige Serpentinen bei der Anfahrt vor… Ihr werdet jedoch merken, dass es sich lohnt.

Hôtel sanctuaire historique

Hotel loin de l'effervescence des stations en bord de mer. Très joli site avec accés par une route avec des virages en épingles. Chambre simple dans l'esprit d'un sanctuaire, confortable mais mal insonorisée.
Petit déjeuner complet avec des produits frais et délicieux.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage auf dem Berg ist sehr schön und man hat selbst aus dem Zimmer einen sehr schönen Fernblick. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, tendenziell aber eher schlicht. Uns hat es dennoch sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und man kann auch auf der Außenterrasse frühstücken. Wir empfehlen das Hotel gern weiter.

Ein ruhiger, besinnlicher Ort, hoch über Mallorca gelegen. Geniale Aussicht, Saubere Zimmer, nette Leute, SUPER Frühstück. Moderate Preise für A-La-Carte.
Betten und Zimmer etwas klein und eine Radar-Station nebenan. Wenn man die Insel erkunden will, sollte man sich des langen Weges auf den Berg bewußt sein.
Das Hotel ist eine Empfehlung wert.

Un hôtel calme avec une situation incroyable.
Une chambre classique et propre avec le nécessaire. Un lit confortable.
Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet avec un choix suffisant.
Un bon restaurant.
Ne ratez surtout pas le couché ainsi que le levé du soleil absolument magnifique !

Exceptional location with a view over the whole island. The surroundings are relaxing and slow life can be enjoyed up there. All the staff is lovely and takes time to explain things and give personnal recommendations.

Man hat vom Berg Randa eine tolle Aussicht. Wenn einen längere Fahrtwege zu Ausflugszielen und tägliche Serpentinen nicht schrecken, ist das Santuari als Hotel zu empfehlen.

Un lieu magique avec une vue exceptionnelle. Un havre de paix loin du stress et en symbiose avec la nature. La nourriture délicieuse et le personnel très gentil ! Parfait pour y rester quelques nuits au calme et en introspection. Au centre de majorque et facile d'accès, lieu juste parfait!

환상적인 뷰와 레스토랑

산꼭데기라 올라가는데 조금 험합니다
그러나 위에서 바라보는 뷰는 정말 최고예요
레스토랑도 휼륭하구요
냉장고는 없어요
에어콘도 없긴 한데, 산위라 그런지 8월 한여름에도 선선합니다.
그리고 밤하늘을 보면 은하수가 보여요
휴양지호텔과는 다른 특별한 하루를 원한다면 적극 추천합니다

Das große Plus ist die Lage auf einem gut 500 Meter hohen Berg: tolle Aussicht, naturnah, ruhig. Man braucht aber ein Auto und muss die täglichen Serpentinen vertragen. Gut ist auch das Restaurant (bis 22 Uhr), sodass man auch auf dem Berg immer essen gehen kann.

Super schön & erhaben gelegen, tolle Aussicht, Zimmer groß und sauber. Im Restaurant leider sehr viele Plastik-Einzelverpackungen - geht eigtl. garnicht.

Un lieu exceptionnel, hors du temps.. ou l’on s’est senti tellement bien.
On vous conseil également le restaurant, prix très abordable, qualité, très bon.
Nous avons été émerveillés pas ce séjour.

Una estancia para desconectar y reconectar ;)

El Santuario está muy cuidado, se respira paz y tranquilidad en todo el recinto. El personal es muy amable y el restaurante totalmente recomendable, tanto por su comida (productos de buena calidad y platos bien elaborados) como por las increíbles vistas 360º. La habitación era amplia, limpia y con una terraza maravillosa. Sin duda, volveríamos.
