A great hotel right on the waterfront.
The staff were all so friendly and professional.
The whole property is clean and tidy.
Our room on the third floor had the most wonderful view of the bay and town, it was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, good aircon.
The swimming pool area is fantastic with good shade by olive trees, there is a bar for drinks and lunch.
If you arrive by car there is secure under cover parking that needs prior booking.
Breakfast downstairs with a view to the bay was excellent.
Overall the hotel is one of the best places we stayed at on our holiday

Totally loved Hotel PlayaSol and Cadaquès. Beautiful hotel in a great location with fantastic balcony and view. Convenient parking and great breakfast. The only quibble was that since it was late October they may have shifted their room HVAC systems from cooling to heating (as we couldn’t get the room temperature cooler for sleeping given how warm the bed duvets made us). But I should have asked for help.

A quick trip

They are following COVID procedures. At the buffet breakfast each person is given their own tongs to pick up things, which is a great solution.

The pillows were too soft. I couldn't sleep comfortably.

A superb hotel

We spent three nights in this lovely hotel celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. On arrival there was a bottle of champagne in the fridge for us, a lovely touch!

Our room was facing the seafront with stunning views of Cadaques also the pool and garden area were very tranquil with jacuzzi which could have been slightly warmer.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and are returning later in the year.

Great boutique type hotel. Quaint old town. Great place to stay. Beaches......forget it! They're awful. Very small and full of rocks. But you could rent a boat. Roads are no joke. Very narrow, right turns, small parking spaces, so if you're not used to dr driving here or are afraid of heights, you might want to take a train.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect as it was right on the water. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They have tennis court, ping pong table, outdoor pool and jacuzzi! You can borrow sports equipments from the front desk. Their breakfast was amazing as well - variety of options and fresh food! Definitely recommend staying here!

An ocean facing room with its little outdoor terrace is lovely. Breakfast is quite nice. The pool/garden is very nice too I think most rooms are small and a bit Spartan. Front desk not particularly friendly or helpful. In October they seemed a bit under staffed even tho the weather was beautiful. They had turned off the a/c which made our West facing room too warm for part of the stay. All that said. Cadaques is entirely delightful and this hotel is probably one of the better accommodations.

Perfect Seaside Retreat

The Playa Sol is perfectly located in Cadaques, in a quiet cove. The hotel rooms are spare but comfortable, and the amenities (pool, bar, restaurant) are fabulous. It is a perfect simple beach hotel.

The food in the restaurant is fantastic, also.

the room was small and the bathroom was sort of integrated into the bedroom. The toilet had a glass door that while you could not see through hardly gave much privacy. There was only one chair and we constantly bumped into each other. We asked if there was a better room and were offered a small one, with a better view for about €40 a night more. I have given a bad indiction for service; that is not for the wait staff or the night staff. The day reception staff were polite, but hardly friendly. We stayed here before and loved it, but we now wonder if it is worth the money for the size of room and the rather cold reception. Lovely pool, nice breakfast. We did not eat any other meals this time, so cannot comment. Cadaques is a lovely location and this hotel has a great location and is obviously popular. Paid for parking, which is fair enough

Fantastic hotel

We loved this hotel, A very comfortable, though not huge room that was advertised as for 3 people. I certainly wouldn't have wanted a third person, even a small one in there, but for two of us it was perfect. (except that I couldn't help thinking we were paying for three breakfasts!) Anyway, we did love the room, the balcony, the view and it had a very good bathroom. The pool was great, and the garden area around it was a lovely bonus.
The staff were very helpful, and there were good options for a gluten free breakfast. The situation of the hotel is fabulous, right by the small beach with chrystal clear water and the hotel provides towels free of charge. I cant fault it.

This is a nice hotel! It has amazing views, an awesome balcony, and is really comfortable. Ignore the parking lot when you arrive in town. We made the mistake and parked in the main lot and dragged our luggage to the hotel. They have their own lot. Yes, it's a scary little road but it will save you $25 Euros a day

We had the best experience! The rooms are nothing fancy and aren't very large, but they are perfectly appropriate for this idyllic seaside town since you aren't in the room too much anyway! We did have a lovely terrace overlooking the water where we spent most of our time! Everything was clean and of top-notch quality. The staff and shared facilities (lounges, bar, pool, etc) were terrific. We will definitely be back; I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Cadaques!

Absolutely perfect! We upgraded to a waterfront room(20-30 euros) and had the most incredible view. Room 228 if you go- a great balcony to have drinks on and take it all in. The location is perfect for walking to Dali's house and the staff and breakfast were outstanding. If you are going to Cadaques, book this hotel, don't hesitate.

Nice hotel right on beautiful beach

My friend and I had a great experience here--it was a nice respite between touring in Barcelona and Madrid. We had a car, and it was tricky getting to he hotel thru town, so be sure and get directions in advance and don't try to use GPS! Also, you need to reserve a parking place in advance at the hotel. Is definitely recommend this hotel!

I loved every aspect of this beautiful hotel... My room had a balcony with immediate view of the Mediterranean Sea. I could hear the waves crashing as they lullabyed me to sleep at night. My room and bathroom were spotless, plush and comfortable. I recommend getting breakfast with room price. It was an amazing buffet layout... Everyone gets their own rather large carafe of the best coffee. Front veranda so comfortable to lounge in and watch the passersby. A WONDERFUL experience. I would go back first chance I get!

It would be hard to imagine a better location. Waves lapping on the beach serenaded us when we opened our ocean front balcony door. Staff gracious and knowledgable. Rooms a bit small, but well designed and comfortable; enjoyed our king sized bed. Pool area beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The rooms and public areas were always sparkling clean. We loved it here and wished we could have stayed longer.
