We had an amazing time here. We had previously booked another hotel but before we fly we saw the weather would be bad and raining so decided to pay a little bit more and at least have a good interior pool to spend time while the weather was bad. This hotel is amazing really good spa overall and well worth it to go half board. Ideal for when the weather is bad and the sun doesn't shine. Has several pools one being a rooftop pool for adults only which I did know about until we got there. absolutely recommend and wouldn't think twice. The rooms are amazing we stayed in a suite so we had living room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom, like a little apartment. Really loved it and would be back for sure.

Only thing wrong is string smell of cleaning chemicals in the lobby and that can give some headaches. We told the employees and they said it gives them headaches too!!

The internet connection was poor in the room. The room is very quiet and nice except people smoke in the balcony, and that's quite disturbing. On the day before my checkout date, room service personnel did not leave any floor towel for the bathroom, and the shower water was flooding the bathroom floor. Other than that, the overall experience was good.

It was our honeymoon and we sent a message before we got to the hotel but nothing was ready for us. The lady said that she gave us an upgrade but the room was at the end of the hotel and had no view except on trash and empty land. We couldn't get any reservation for the restaurant every time i go check with front desk they say its full. Not even a message in our room or anything special for our honey moon. Thank you for the bad experience

Bland windowless corridors and no toiletries

We only stayed one night in a junior suite it was very basic white box and had no toiletries at all which I didn’t expect
The bed was two singles separate beds separate duvets and was not comfortable
The hotel is huge sterile and it did its purpose for one night wouldn’t stay again


The hotel was very clean that was a positive it felt odd as you walk for a long time in windowless corridors to the rooms

Not our type of accommodation was a one off tripnfor a holiday it’s blandness is not one for me

Property was lovely, the entire stay was really good and we didn’t want to leave. The spa facilities are actually quite impressive and entertainment (singer and guitarist) were really good. The atmosphere was lovely and the entire place literally smelt so good! Only con is that the place is a bit of a maze and we were quite far away so it took a little walking up and down to figure out best routes. But silverlining is there are enough pools that it never gets overly crowded.

The design of this hotel is pretty bad. We have to walk almost 10 minutes only from front desk to our room. They have back side reception but they close it and door is not accessible.
The gym hours is 10am - 8pm which is terrible, supposed to be 6am-11pm like most other resorts.
Also, cleaning lady opened the door when I was changing for no reason! Cleaning team also left a pair of dirty gloves when we are back to hotel in the evening on our second night staying. I’d definitely not coming back to this hotel. You have to open front and back access, no one wants to walk 10 minutes to front door.

If you want to stay in a hotel with a construction site beside you this is the place . If you like 50 minutes to check in , please stay here. Should you want a twenty minute walk to the beach rather than 12, book here. Those looking for a smile on arrival or friendly reception staff should avoid . Breakfast was nice , landscape like the moon , house keeping excellent. Needs new management and Expedia should not be selling this place . Feels as if they have run out of money and culture of customer last .

Great facilities, nice to have different pool choices and the indoor spa. Suite was spacious and cleaned to a high standard. Good location being a short walk to the beach but far enough away to be quiet, plus close to supermarkets. Food was great, but service at the bar and restaurants was a bit on the slow side to get drinks etc but would recommend nevertheless

The hotel (the rooms and communal areas) were beautiful! It was even better than the pictures, we had zero complaints or points where they could improve. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and helped with any questions we had. Our suite had a balcony which turned out to be a HUGE patio, it was nice to relax outside on the sunbeds after the pool was closed. I was unaware that there were 3 swimming pools which was a nice surprise! Lots of breakfast options and surprised me on my birthday which made my day!

The beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there is a supermarket basically across the road which was very helpful. I would happily stay here or at any of their other branches if i returned to Majorca! The area surrounding the beach is german party holiday vibes which we didn’t know beforehand, but we had no problem navigating around that so just a heads up if that’s completely not your portion. However, I can’t even think of one bad thing to say about our stay or our trip in general!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The suite was large, a bedroom and a living area. The bedroom had 2 single beds pushed together, a desk/dressing table and a good sized wardrobe with air conditioning. The living area had a leather sofabed, a table and chairs, a kitchen area with a full size fridge, microwave and 2 ring hob and sink. Crockery and cutlery too. There was also another smaller wardrobe with safe. The bathroom was a good sized with large walkin shower. Bathrobes and slippers were provided in the room too. The balcony overlooked the lower pool. The breakfast was excellent and contained a really good variety of food. Fresh cooked omelettes were my favourite. We are once at the Bistro bar and the food was excellent. Food and drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. Unfortunately we didn't have time to experience the spa or the sky bar. Overall, I'd definitely recommend and I would return to stay here.

The hotel is nice. The hotel gym is very warm as one of the entrance door is missing so the AC does not work. The hotel is located in an area that hosts large groups for stag & hen parties. It’s also mostly German tourists. If you seeking something more peaceful then seek elsewhere. I shared a room with my daughter and found the single beds incredibly narrow and more suited to child than adult

This is a beautiful property, great service and good food! We felt that the location was good for visiting the island. We did not like the atmosphere at Playa de Palma beach, which was a short walk away. Too many young tourists partying and being silly. The bus stop is a short walk away which is helpful. We thought the half board was worth while.
Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and there’s a wonderful woman Dipa at the restaurant always making sure we had all we needed.

Loved this hotel, we didn’t have quite the bed set up we booked by it was a great room and we had a huge balcony which was fab for my son to play on. The only real downside was that the beds were very firm so neither myself or my husband slept particularly well. Also families should be aware that in spring the outdoor pool is very cold and kids can only use the indoor pool from 10-12am but the spa and sauna facilities were a huge asset. Would definitely recommend.

I rarely take the time to write reviews but I must say that the stay at the Grupotel Playa del Palma was simply exceptional. The grounds, facilities, and food were amazing. The breakfest buffet was the best I've ever had (and I've experienced plenty). The dinner buffet was equally impressive and a relative bargain. The pool and spa also very nice.

We choose Mallorca for the hiking - which was also amazing.

This was an incredible stay, our first time doing half board and we weren't disappointed. Options were always varied and delicious every night. There are many facilities to use including at least 3 swimming pools. The sky restaurant is fantastic and you get some surreal views. Most importantly staff give the place a heart, they're incredibly friendly and helpful. We want to recognise Ghazi, Joyce and one half Nigerian/Jamaican guy (sorry we couldn't remember his name) and countless others we'd like to thank and applaud. We would highly recommend this stay for anyone in the future as well as us coming back to stay.

Such a fabulous start at this hotel, all staff without fail are there to help, breakfast is amazing a d the spa wonderful.
The seafront wasn’t for us but there are some fabulous typical Spanish restaurants in walking distance and the hotel itself has a fabulous skybar restaurant whereby we paid €26 to eat there.
Whilst the promenade was not our gig, we would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation.

Overall a great stay. Room was better than I expected, great value for the money. Fantastic facilities especially the large pools. Good food. Some staff are pleasant, however some let it down. Not sure if it’s because we didn’t speak any German at all. But some staff unfortunately came across as a bit rude and not pleasant to talk to. A few times this occurred at breakfast or dinner it felt almost as if they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to serve us and quite frankly missing the basics of customer service such simply saying “Hello” and ensuring we feel welcome. A part from that everything else was great and I would return!!

The hotel in a nice location minutes walk from the beach and multiple restaurants. The hotel has nice facilities. Great breakfast and dinner options, I did half board. The issue I had was there was large moulding my bathroom and I asked to move rooms as I am asthmatic and it can cause serious issues, they said no and call maintenance who was shocked and let a gasp out and then proceeded to just paint over it. The air conditioning wasn’t working in my room and I had to get the reception to get it fixed again. A middle age, European server who wore glasses was so rude, she asked for what drink I wanted and as she could understand I had to repeat it the best I could so she could grasp what I was asking for, she then when over to another sever to talk poorly about me within earshot. Apart from there unfortunate event it was a good stay. I wound not come back to recommend unfortunately.

For the price range the service was not good, especially the cleaning service. They didn’t change the linen even when we asked. Didn’t replace the towels and when we asked they took 2 hours to give to us. On the last day we didn’t have cleaning service at all. I was really hoping a good experience which was not provided. Also we didn’t get to experience in dinner because the quality of the food on the breakfast didn’t reach our expectations. Overall the hotel is beautiful and the facility’s are pretty good. Hoping that this review helps you to improve.

Plenty of sunbeds and no one taking them and leaving towels out.

Hotel is 5 mins walk to beach, away from the noise, its in the German quater so can be very noisy beach side by the MEGAPARK but move away from that and it gets quieter.

Excellent experience. Lovely staff and great facilities. Main hotel and communal areas are great, but some rooms could do with a small amount of maintenance, some missing grout around tiles on the terrace and a loose tap in the bathroom. Otherwise first class.

This property was beautiful. Very nice staff and the Turkish baths were insanely relaxing and enjoyable. Palma is a short drive and there is a grocery store on the corner making it convenient if you forgot to pack anything. We loved our stay here and would absolutely come back.

Stayed here for one night as I thought it was quite close to the airport after being at a wedding near Soller. Wish we had been staying longer the hotel was so good! Great pool and the spa looked amazing. Dinner at night excellent as was breakfast.
