Very disappinted. It said it was All Inclusive. It's a lie. Alcoholic drinks are not included, only at dinner and you only get a beer or wine. Nowhere in the world do they say All Inclusive and not serve alcoholic drinks. Nowhere! I paid extra for that service. I would have gone somewhere else. It's agai at trading standards and very misleading advertising. It even says All Inclusive at the bar which is isnt!

Globalement le service, la propreté, et l'hôtel en lui-même était correct; En revanche une grande déception concernant les repas. Pas très raffinés et souvent la même chose. Quel dommage. Et fint standard hotel men lever ikke op til sine 4 stjerner. Det var meget tydeligt, at det ligger i et område med fest… Border og liggestole blev ikke tørt af ved poolen, hvorfor de var klisteret efter drinks m.m. som blev indtaget ved poolen.

Hotellet ligger ikke op til børn, da der er rigtig meget party om eftermiddagen og helt normalt at se folk med høj promille på dagligt basis og/eller og sove brandet ud. Vi oplevede opkast på toilettet… Folk skal have lov til at feste og hygge sig, men derfor ikke så oplagt til børnefamilier.

Værelserne var meget lytte, hvorfor det blev afbrudt søvn af personer der kommer hjem fra byen. Det er ikke unormalt, at der i løbet af natten blev banken på sin dør, at personer der kom retur fra en bytur.


Rummelige og rene værelser. 👌

Maden i buffeten var fint, men ikke 4 stjerner.

Service og venlighed fra personalet fejlede intet.

My favorite hotel on Mallorca. Big room with sofa. Clean bathroom. Nice balcony with view of the pools. All inclusive with good food. Good service and friendly staff.
Further down the street towards the beach the street is a real lively party street with a lot of drunk people, but at the hotel the street is calm and you are not bothered by the party people.
I missed English speaking channels on TV.

Had a lovely solo trip at the Hotel Riu Playa Park recently. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, the food options were good, and the hotel’s facilities are nice. The only thing that I found odd was needing to have cash as a deposit for the pool towels, but otherwise all was good!

Staff at front desk courteous and helpful. Very limited dinning with rigorous access hours. Food was very good when available but the alcohol options were deplorable. For those traveling and have been to many Riu options in Mexico, it was a disappointment. Sure the laws in Mallorca do not allow for plentiful alcoholic consumption but when there’s a limit, the options should at least be good… even for cost. Definitely not a four star in my opinion. The grounds were adequate. Rooms were clean/ cleaned every day. Activities… nothing to write home about. We stayed for 6 nights… recommend day trips and shopping if you don’t want to be bored. Time to see another Riu. This one was okay for the location.

Fine but a few issues

Room was great and staff were lovely. I had issues with the room tv, remote issue was resolved but all of the channels listed didn’t work. Gym was only open between 8am-8pm, equipment was quite limited (only 4 pairs of dumbbells - 2, 4, 6 and 8kg). The floor was all slippery tile and only super thin mats were available.

Very nice, modern furnished design. Room was so comfy and good size of services. Staffs are very friendly. Front desks look like very helpful particularly who tried to find me to hand in my shuttle papers when he figured out I was worried about. Thanks for all staffs in restaurant who were hardworking. The only thing that I did not like swimming pool temp was a little bit cold. Needs to be primarily warmer specially in mornings to jump it in. Highly recommended.

Allowing people to reserve lounge chairs by the pool all day is unacceptable and unfair. Every morning the chairs were claimed for the entire day by a handful of people who were neither on the chairs nor in the pool and we were unable to find a single chair to use. This hotel is not an 8.6 for reviews or even a 4 star hotel. I would rate this a 3 star hotel, food was horrible- if you want flavour bring your hot sauce, the rooms were nice but they do not provide you with bottled water, shower cap, q-tip, etc... If you need the iron, you need to request it a day in advance at at least as they only have 1 iron for the whole hotel that needs to be shared with all guests. Worse of all this is not a proper o'o all inclusive hotel, alcohol is not free, you have to pay for it at all times. You only get house wine and beer during lunch and dinner- this is not written anywhere on the expedia website. On the hotel website it states \"At lunch and dinner three alcoholic drinks are included, with a choice between house wine and beer\". Really disappointed with how this was advertised with expedia.

The one thing that impressed us the most is the the staff, regardless of rome/function, they are friendly, nice, appear to be happy and like their jobb. Noticed that the hotel has adjustable height beds, I assume from what I saw, to spare housekeeping staff backs, if so, wonderful to see!

My valet was stolen/ got lost at the check in. The check in people were not friendly at al and didn’t help me to find out what happened at first. They told me I should go to Police Station and have them to ask us to check the CCTV. A couple days they told me we checked we did not find anythin. I paid the bill in cash at the check in and got a twenty Euros bill from my valet. I would not put my feet in RiuS hotels never.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was great. We did not mind the limit of three drinks per person during the lunch and dinner, but the quality and selection could be improved, especially for wine. The only wine that they offer is a house wine.Pools are on the smaller side which is not sufficient for the size of this hotel. They also close quite early with staff collecting the chairs and removing the shades/umbrellas 30 minutes before closing. If you'd like water or non-alcoholic drinks in the mini fridge you must pay for them. Therefore bring your own refillable bottles or purchase them in the stores next door. The location is close to the beach, however the hotel is located right next to Bier Konig which is the largest bier garden with \"October Fest\" like partying and drinking every day. There's no noise in the hotel so you won't be disturbed by it until you leave the hotel. Overall, we had a good stay, enjoyed the food and property.

Generell ist es ein schönes Hotel. Leider sind überall Ameisen zu finden. Das bedeutet nicht nur überall im Zimmer sondern auch im ganzen Hotel! Unsere Sachen waren total befallen mit ihnen und es war nicht möglich sich davor zu schützen. Weiterhin waren die Kissen im Bett schon benutzt und rochen nach schlechtem Parfum. Das Buffet bot eine unzureichende Auswahl an Essen. Es war alles frittiert oder allgemein sehr ungesund. Die Möglichkeit etwas halbwegs gesundes zu essen ohne viel Fett oder Fertigprodukte war leider nicht gegeben. Die Location in der Nähe der umliegenden Clubs zog entsprechendes Publikum auch im Hotel an.

Cleanliness was great, food excellent, pools felt crowded. Younger german guests let the property down with their behaviour which made my 13 year old daughter feel anxious & intimidated on several occasions such as being approached when on her own and also worried about taking the lift .

Not a true \"all-inclusive\".

Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Good Wifi signal available. Buffet restaurants offer an ample food selection. Only drawback is that this place is not a true \"all-inclusive\" since alcoholic beverages must be purchased separately. Alcoholic beverages are only inclusive during the dinner buffet. This fact is not mentioned during booking and is misleading.

The staff at this hotel was amazing, they were always very nice and helpful. Every single person that worked at the hotel would speak to you and say good morning every day. At breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff was very quick to clear the table and clean the table for you and was always there waiting to help you if you needed it. The hotel has three different pools, and it is a very nice vibe at all of the pools. I mean the hotel was very clean and it seemed to have a lot of new equipment. I do think that the gym could use an upgrade and have some better equipment, and the Buffay food was good, but it would have been nice for them to switch up the food a little bit more. Because the food was a little bit repetitive. But besides that the overall stay at the hotel was amazing and I would definitely recommend staying here. The only reason I’m giving this hotel 4 stars is because I wish the gym was better and I wish the food was a little bit better, but besides that everything else was amazing.

Exceeded all expectations

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The food and customer service was first class. Online pictures do not do the facilities justice either. We will highly recommend to others.

Decent enough hotel but not up to the usual standard of a Riu that I’d expect.
Majority of staff very nice but one to avoid if you have dietary requirements as one chef was actually quite rude despite directions from a manager. Not a good look.
Decent enough location as very close to beach, although it is very close to where Germans stag/hen/groups so expect very drunken people in the vicinity but this doesn’t affect the hotel.
Ok but wouldn’t return.

lovely hotel, with great staff. I think that most of negative reviews we read about this hotel were to do more with the people in the area than the hotel and it is rather unfair. If you book in July/June in a party area is kinda obvious that it will not be a relaxing stay. Our stay over the Easter holidays was fantastic, staff were attentive (a special mention goes to Roberto who really entertained and engaged the kids throughput), food overall good, 5 min walk from the beach; we really enjoyed it!

Nuestras experiencia en el Riu Park fue muy buena y agradable. El servicio excelente, tratan de ayudar y buena disponibilidad. La ubicacion dentro de la zona esta bien, cerca de la playa y como a 15 min en auto del centro.

La comida es all inclusive y esta ok. Calidad/precio esta muy bien todo.

Volveria a quedarme en este hotel.

Disappointing food

The hotel itself appears to be very new and the staff do good job keeping everything very clean. However, we were disappointed by the selection and quality of the food and drinks included (I wouldn’t say this is the fault of the staff who do a great job but rather that of the hotel chain) and decided to eat outside of the hotel for almost all of our meals as we found the selection of food to be limited and the quality not very good at all. The drinking water that is included as part of the ‘all inclusive’ tasted very chlorinated and we avoided it and bought our own water outside of the hotel as bottles are not provided as part of the ‘all inclusive’. We also found the number of sun beds to be limited for the size of the hotel with towels placed on almost all of the sun beds by 08:00 - 09:00 each day. Overall, I would say that the hotel is not quite 4* and is very much designed for German tourists who formed the vast majority of tourists staying at the hotel during our 11 nights.

Group of middle aged blokes having a weekend away

All this area is set up for Germans....we were the only English group in the hotel....and the resort. Hotels is basic but perfectly adequate. We had a great time and everything is very nearby. The road may b a bit loud but you cant hear it in the hotel. Pool bar and main bar good. Self service beer by the pool. Foods fine.. If you have an issue with being the only English people amongst thousands of Germans then this isn't the resort or hotel for you. However rather than the English who like to get drunk, throw up and fight, the Germans like to get drunk, sing songs and have fun....It was ideal for9 middle aged blokes having a long break and we all enjoyed it.

Nice but not for me

I did read the reviews of this hotel before i went. I did see the comments about most of the guests being German. I didn't realise that i would be the ONLY Brit in the hotel.
This made it rather uncomfortable for me as i was there alone. But the hotel staff could not have been nicer to me. I was given a room without a balcony, i asked to be moved explaining that as i was alone id like to sit at the balcony in the evenings. They moved me the next morning! And then sent me a bottle of Tunel to say sorry!
The staff at both bars were very friendly and made the effort to chat.
The reception staff were wonderful.
The food was lovely, even though lots was pickled! The room was small but cosy. Clean and tidy.
For my 1st holiday alone, this place is a great start. But i would not return.

OK hotel in the German quarter.

Hotel was ok, staff friendly and room ok but dated and NO air conditioning. In the German quarter and in a very nosiy area - the bottom end of the street resembled Magaluf but you couldn't hear the noise in your room. Great if you want that sort of thing.

Food nice but not as much choice as you may expect. Plenty to eat and drink throughout the day. In walking distance of the beach, which was really nice - quiet, hot , warm sea. We stayed there until midnight without disturbance.

2 pools - clean, warm but could get over crowded.

Unfortunately the 4 night stay at this hotel was cut short to 1 night, mainly due to the clientele at the hotel and the area. Service however was good, with staff helpful.

The area is essentially 90% German, which is not a bad thing, but as a couple from Scotland this did not suit us. In keeping 90% of the guests were German.

The hotel itself is very dated, and the food although a good choice was not of the highest quality. The swimming pools were slightly dirty, with things floating in it.

We all really enjoyed this holiday. The hotel was excellent, and the food was wonderful, but a little too tempting, the staff were welcoming, helpful and polite. It was in a good location, and had good amenities.

My experience was good overall all inclusive was great with food and drink on tap. Biggest biggest downfall is the place was full of German people which meant everything revolved around them, German speaking staff,German food,German facilities and even German entertainment. I felt like I was on holiday in Germany it was like if you weren't German nobody cared. No staff spoke English and that made the simplest things difficult to ask for. Expected a lot more Spanish foods as I was in Spain and if you don't eat pork you better love fish as it's the only other choice but was tasty.

Wonderfully friendly staff and well-run hotel.

We went to the hotel for a short family half-term holiday. The aim was to have a relaxing break, and an all-inclusive hotel means one less thing to worry about.

Other reviews have mentioned that it's a strongly German resort. This is certainly true, but we encountered no problems being understood, and everyone was well-behaved.

We've stayed in other all-inclusive resorts, and this was similar - drinks and snacks were available all day, and breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided in the hotel. I found the food in this hotel to be superior to others (there were more freshly-cooked items, and a very good selections of buffet foods). If you just wanted to flop by the side of the pool, and not think about where you were going to eat the next meal, then this place would be perfect.

The hotel has three pools, including a (small, but well-heated) internal pool. This proved to be invaluable on the one day when the sky darkened and the rain poured down. The hotel in general has the facilities you would expect from a large Spanish hotel, built in the early 80s.

The main thing which differentiates the hotel from others was the sheer friendliness of the staff - all the staff, from the maid through to the man who cleaned the pool. They were uniformly friendly and helpful every time you dealt with them, and never gave the impression that anything you asked for was a problem. It was this aspect in particular which meant we had a lovely holiday - we'd definitely go again.
