Hotel was clean and generally quiet, its in a busy area with night clubs and bars so there was some noise but nothing that got in the way of sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in an area which seems to be very popular with German visitors so youll hear very little English spoken, not a bad thing given youre in a non-english spraking country. The transport links were good, with the airport bus and city bus stopping 200m from the hotel. Food options were pretty good, with varied evening options and a decent breakfast every day.

We booked the Riu Festival but on arrival was told we was moved to the Riu Concordia. Luckily it was only down the road.
This hotel was excellent and cannot fault it one bit but very disappointed neither hotels.com nor the Riu group told us prior.

I loved the stay at the hotel; the staff was welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. However, the only downside was the location of the smoking section, which was positioned right in front of the main entry door. Every time the doors opened, the cigarette smoke wafted directly into the lobby, making the air unpleasant for non-smokers. It would be great if the hotel could relocate the smoking area to a spot farther away from the entrance to enhance the overall experience for guests.

Poor stay this time round

Requested a high floor, got a first floor. The room was situated directly above the entrance to the car park and overlooked the rubbish bins. Fridge didn't work and the room has two large pillars in the middle of the room which is not the best position. Double room with single occupancy but still got two twin beds. Stayed at the hotel several times, and I'm also a Riu Class member. Expected a lot better. The night previous stayed at the Riu Festival where the room had a double bed, a fridge that worked, a higher floor and no view of the dustbins. So Riu can offer better facilities - it was just rubbish this time. I should have stayed at the Festival for the extra night.

Very clean property and the staff was amazing. Room set up was great. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and really liked the layout. The hotel is so close to the beach in a lively area. Or you can take a bus / 15-20 min cab ride to La Palma. You won’t get bored!

Amazing hotel, very clean with lovely rooms. Our stay was half-board and the food was fantastic with buffet style service, could eat as much as you wanted! The dining staff were lovely and very attentive. Compliments must go to the chefs! Cleaning service was great with friendly housemaid staff. A special thank-you to the housemaid who arranged for an extra pillow after I had asked the reception three times with no joy. Should have gone straight to the housemaid.
Only downsides were the hotel next door could be a bit noisy but our stay was during Euro 24 so this could have been a factor. Also no iron available as stated in the hotel room information.
On the whole 10 out of 10!

Really lovely staff - on reception and in the restaurant and bars. I checked-in really late and out really early with no problem at all. Housekeeping great too - did the room while I was at breakfast. Loved the buffets. Great location for the beach - you get some party goers but I quite liked that atmosphere and i never lost any sleep from them. Less than 10 minutes and €20 to the airport, less than an hour and €2 to palma city - and the bus stop is nearby too.

As an extra short notice holiday this was perfect. Reduced crowds enabled us to see the sights and visit locations that otherwise would be challenging logistically in high season. Can't pick the weather which was changeable however there was enough good weather to make the whole experience enjoyable

We liked how close this is to the airport and the rooms were overall comfortable. We didn't like that if you purchase the plan that includes dinner, you are forced to buy drinks with your meal, even water, and you will be reprimanded if u try to bring your own. This should have been comveyed at check in so we were caught off guard when we went to dinner, THEN found out this little detail. There is nothing at the restaurant entrance that says no drinks either. It was just awkward. Next time, we'll eat elsewhere to avoid the hassle.

The Hotel seemed a base for Stag/Hen groups, very noisy especially the dining room, unfortunately most of the guests had no idea how to queue for the Buffet. I would definitely not recommend this Hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful vacation !

Naughty naughty Expedia! Arrived at 1.30am after a delayed flight to be told we weren’t staying at the RIU Festival we were now being moved to another hotel as Expedia had overbooked the Hotel Rooms!! Wasn’t a very happy bunny! 😠
Moved to a different hotel which in future I will book directly as I just don’t trust the booking system Expedia has now!

Hotel is half board ie. comes inclusive of buffet breakfast and dinner - only drinks needs to be paid for separately. The restaurant is extremely well run with good food, great variety of food in the buffet and fantastic service from the staff. They even prepared cold dinner platters for guests who check-in after the dinner service, which was very thoughtful as my flight was delayed and I arrived hungry. Overall I found our stay very worth it and would highly recommend.

The staff where fabulous, the hotel was very clean and tidy, the food was excellent and the entertainment entertaining.
My only criticism was the smoking areas, the one by the pool spoils the air swimming and relaxing in that area, the area at the main front door meant that you continually stepped out into someone smoke pollution which created a bad impression as you arrived, it also tended to drift into the reception area.

Fantastic hotel. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to beach and 3 mins walk from bus stop to get bus to Palma or airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Food very good and plenty of choice. The whole area of El Arenal seems to be full of Germans but that didn’t bother us - the staff at hotel and in nearby bars all spoke good English.

Great little get away.

Great location, 5 mins walk to beach. €20 for 2 beds and a brolly.
Very near to lovely promenade with shops and restaurants.
Good selection of food at breakfast, we had evening meal with our booking but really prefer to eat out but the couple of times we ate in the quality and choice was very good.
Nice pool area nice and clean, no rush to get a sunbed.
Comfy beds large shower, very clean room. Tiny balcony.
Only 2 down points, the temp of the air con is controlled by reception and the room was far too warm, I was asking for the temp to be reduced daily, almost like it resets itself. And a real biggy for me no tea coffee making facilities, I had read this previously so I had taken a small kettle.
1 last note, this hotel and the area is 90% German. Not an issue for us and the bus takes you into Palma for €2, 20 mins journey, taxi back for €20
Time from airport 5 mins €18 in a taxi. Overall great little get away.😊

The hotel is clean, staff polite and helpful and food of good quality and variety. The facilities are good and clearly attention to detail concerning CoVid - taken seriously. Proximity to amenities is walking distance and airport convenient. Good blend of beach and poolside holiday. Access to rental vehicles easy so good to explore other areas. Best recommendation I would stay again.

We had a lovely stay and catch up with family. Very impressed with the cleaning and care taken during this epidemic. Felt very safe. Special thanks to Antonio, Miguel on reception helping me with the problems I had and to Juana our cleaner. Food excellent and so we're all the staff. The only thing lacking is tea and coffee making facilities.x

I have recently come back from a pleasant stay at Roy Festival. The hotel was very clean and well presented and close to the beach ( although not on the beach front as I had thought from the pictures when booking). The room had everything we needed and I personally found the beds extremely comfortable. My only grumble is that I booked a sea view room having stayed at another hotel further down the beach previously and capturing amazing sunsets. I would say my room didn’t really have a seas view room, you could see the sea don’t get me wrong but in the distance and I was very disappointed that the “sea view” discribwd by the hotel upon booking the room was questionable. There was building work going on at a sister hotel over the road but luckily this did not disturb us as they didn’t do the work at silly hours of the day.
Overall a great weekend break and I would use the hotel again in a busier season.

My wife & I booked here for a couple of nights to catch our last sunshine of the year.
Great location, a 2min walk from main bus route to palma which is only 15mins away & great value at 1.50 Euros
Hotel was very clean, check in/out was very quick & simple. We stayed half board & food was amazing.
Would definitely reccomend this hotel & would stay here again.

I highly recommend!

I was given a modern, spotless room with a balcony and a sea view i had requested. There were several power points for chargers (good internet) and travel kettle. The big powerful shower and good towel supply, comfortable queen bed, flat screen tv and good choice of lighting helped me enjoy my short break. There was a huge food choice and wine list at meal times. The dining room staff did a very good job constantly clearing tables (i hate sitting at a table with dirty pots) and at the same time everyone had attention. There was an outside pool and a garden, both kept spotless, several bars and comfortable seating areas. With polite and cheerful reception staff, at a modern hotel close to the sea, with easy connection with the airport (15 and 25 bus), what more can i say except i loved my stay here.

All is okay but if you like your room to be less than 75 degrees Fahrenheit (23 Celsius), keep looking. This hotel limits how cool your room can get and that is too hot to sleep comfortably.

There were two problems with the room. Air Con could not be set lower than 23 C. Curtains could not be drawn closed, which resulted in the room not being dark.

We were celebrating my wife's family reunion of four sisters and brother who grew up in a small village on the Donau (Danube) in Germany. The hotel staff accmodated our family very well, especially as we sat together at mealtime. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was cleaned thoroughly each day. The food was prepared very well, with lots of choices.

Good hotel with excellent staff, good food and easy reach of Palma. However very few English people go to this resort and as a consequence everything is in German. The main complaint is the noisy clientele. Banging doors and noisy neighbours meant disturbed sleep EVERY night. This is such a pity because everything else about the hotel was really good and the staff work very hard.

Mes enfants et moi-même sommes très satisfaits de notre sejour. Après une arrivée chaotique suite à des problèmes d'avion (retards multiples), le personnel s'est montré tres accueillant et à l'écoute des préoccupations. La chambre était d'une propreté inégalée et moderne. Le petit-déjeuner et dîner etaient variés et frais. Notre sejour qui demarrait mal s'est tres bien terminé grâce aux bons souvenirs de notre passage chez RIU.
