Great location, only 2 mins walk to the beach. Staff was very kind and helpful. Huge terrace with sun beds was a bonus. Very safe and secure hotel. Easy check-in on automated device outdoors.

Cons - walls are thin and you could hear other guests which disrupted sleep.

Shower very small and hard to shower without banging arms and legs.

Bed was uncomfortable. Didn’t have a proper nights sleep throughout my stay here. Due to the bed and the noise of other guests.

Overall a ok stay here if you’re looking for somewhere near the beach and a safe hotel to stay in for few nights.

Very nice hotel, really happy with it. Extremely clean and tidy, room, bathroom and common areas are spotless and clean. Room was lovely and spacious. Nice big terrace too.
Staff was kind and great, helping us always with a smile. Thank you all!
The only bad thing to say is the noise: very difficult to sleep at night with all those drunk guys si going and screaming in the middle of the night. Area is good and safe, but far too noisy at night

The bathroom here was terrible. The toilet was on one side of the room and the sink on another, so if you got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, you got to stumble to two locations to go. Both bathrooms were tiny. I had to straddle the toilet to close the door. They both were an annoying half step taller than the bathroom - another fun feature when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. And the shower literally was a one square foot area base. I was claustrophobic taking a shower.

The area is also disgusting. Not the hotel's fault, but with so many nice places on the island, paying $200 to stay at this hotel in this area was ridiculous.

Garau good

Garaut Petit was perfect for our 3 night stay. Easy digital check-in when we arrived late, VERY clean, daily service of room, clean towels etc and mini fridge was much appreciated. All great for our purposes.
Only negatives were small room- but i knew this and was given option to change. No kettle, which i didnt expect. I will definitely return though, as great location near beach.

The hotel is small. Our room could not be described as spacious, either. However, it is very centrally located in s'Arenal not to mention that is has excellent connectivity to both Palma de Mallorca airport and the city. Our room had a mansard style balcony, with views over the streets and the square. The check-in process was fully automated, we did not see or speak to anyone. It was all codes and cards. Very 2022, but it did work and we only stayed the night so not a big drawback.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the check-in was smooth. However, the property doesn’t worth the price we paid, the bed was uncomfortable, the furniture and shower were old. For a people who taking a car, it was quite hard to find a parking area.

For the price, the stay is great. Has all the basic things and is clean, we had an outdoor space too which is great especially for the Space. The staff/owners seem lovely however it is staffed certain hours a day just an fyi.

The location is hmm interesting, seems to be a very busy spot but for me personally I wouldn’t stay in the area again. Dirty and trashy, close to main road with beaches and bars etc but all the food places nearby are terrible.

The only ick we had ( 3 night stay ) was the rooms aren’t cleaned properly while you are there? They say they do daily room service but all they did was make the bed… they didn’t even provide daily fresh towels which is a bit poor. Overall, for price food stay for the accomodation but they need to work on their room servicing.

I can only recommend this place and I would stay there again without hesitation.

We came after the front desk had closed. It's only manned from 9-2pm. However, it was easy to check in and get our key. The room was as described. The location was a 5 minute walk, maybe, to the sand beach. There were little supermarkets on every corner. It was convenient to the busses that we needed to ride into Palma and to get from and to the airport.

Marcos (front desk manager) was very friendly. I asked about local restaurants and food. We ate breakfast every morning at a little place where I am sure we were the only tourists. It gave me time to practice my limited Spanish. He recommended specific restaurants for specific kinds of dishes. We ate at 3 of them and they were great.

this is an excellent little hotel. very clean and cozy. close to the bars, shops, and restaurants as well as to the beach. The staff was so helpful and polite ready to help in any moment. We hope that next year the situation will be better for travel and that we will go there again

Could be great hotel but let down by staff and mostly the noise...can hear every sound and drunk groups of youths coming in through night..when speak to staff all you get is a smile and apology...if staying here pack earplugs and even then I probably wouldn’t bother, also cleaning..that’s just changing towels nothing more! Very disappointing and shattered to boot 😴

Great little hotel

We were 2 couples, stayed for 3 nights last week. The best value for money hotel we have stayed in. Staff were excellent as were the continental breakfasts. The location is first class. Arenal is a good starting off point for exploring Majorca. Buses into Palma every 15 minutes only 1euro 50cents. Lots of restaurants to eat in. We would definitely stay here again

Fantastic!

Colourful hotel close to the beach.

My partner and I chose Hotel Garau for a weekend away and we have been very pleasantly surprised. Our room was small but well organized, clean and colourful. The bed was really comfortable. The balcony was ideal to enjoy the first sunrays. The staff is friendly and helpful and makes an effort to speak English/German. The breakfast buffet was perfect.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit der Unterkunft.
Wir hatten 1 Zimmer mit Balkon und angrenzender Dusche und separates WC. Der Strand ist in 3min zu Fuß erreichbar. Megapark und Bierkönig sind in ca 10min zu erreichen.
Man kann sich tagsüber Sonnenschirme ausleihen.
Der Self-Check-In hat zuerst nicht funktioniert. Als wir schon verzweifelt waren, haben wir uns an die Service-Nummer gewendet und uns wurde umgehend geholfen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Das Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich und rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Besonders positiv war die gute Lage, nur etwa 15 Minuten Fußweg vom Megapark entfernt. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Lyhört i nedgånget område

Helt ok standard på hotellet för vad det kostar.
Ligger i ett nedgånget område där det inte kändes tryggt. Väldigt lyhört mellan rummen, från gatan samt från korridoren. Vi sov inte särskilt mycket då det var störande ungdomsgäng både på hotellet och ute på gatan. Bytte hotell efter en natt.

Es war OK, nichts Weltbewegendes
Nachts rannten ein paar Zwielichtige Gestalten rum, aber das passiert überall am Ballermann.
Zimmerservice kam erst nach zweifacher Aufforderung, Handtücher wurden hierbei nicht gewechselt.
Man hätte die tote Taube auf dem Vordach entfernen können.

Zum Blossen Schlafen reicht das Hotel aber im Wesentlichen aus

Zum Ballermann Urlaub

Ich war mit Freunden zum Ballermann Urlaub, also brauchten wir nur ein Bett und dafür war es Super vor allem dafür, dass es nur ein 1-Stern-Hotel ist.
Der Check-In musste an einem Automaten gemacht werden und hier der Tip, die Personaldaten manuell eingeben, nicht den Perso scannen, das hat nicht funktioniert. Ansonsten war alles top. Kaffee gab es einen Kaffeeautomat und es gab gleich 2 Kioske in Sichtweite.

L’hotel dispone di armadietti per depositare le valige molto comodi come l’accesso con codice che ti danno.
L’hotel si trova in una buona posizione perché si trova a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di palma e alle varie fermate dell’ autobus

Schönes kleines Hotel, mit süßen Zimmern. Ebenfalls hatten wir einen riesen hroßem balkon mit sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Man darf keinen Lucus erwarten, aber kleines Hotel mit ganz viel Charme!

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel und trotzdem Zentral - TOP

Eine super Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip an die Playa. Besser als manche drei Sterne Hotels, super nettes Personal, das viel auf die Zufriedenheit der Kunden legt!
Große Terasse mit eigenen Liegen.
Liegt auf der Höhe des Ballermann 2, in einer kleinen ruhigen Seitenstraße.

Schlüsselabgabe war super.
Preis war etwas zu teuer für das Hotel.
Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig und in der Nachbarschaft hat ein Hund geklefft, den man ohne das Fenster auf gehabt zuhaben gehört hat. Erholsamer Schlaf also fehlgeschlagen.
Die Lage ist ganz gut.

More than we expected

The total stay was amazing. It was me, my wife and our 2.6 year child. The hotel is 2 min walking from the beach, and all restaurants are just beside you. The hotel was quiet at night, the neighborhood as well which is rare since you are in mallorca. The room is big enough with a beautiful balcony and a big bathroom and shower. The staff is very friendly, they are a father and his son. The only thing that were not comfortable was the bed mattress, it was a bit hard, to be honest im not saying it was bad, but its not that comfortable at the same time.
I would ofcourse come back to this hotel in our next visit.

Es müsste klar geschrieben werden das man die koffer bei später abreisexnicht im hitel stehen lassen kann. Man muß sich dafür im nahegelegenen hostel vorher eine kofferbox mieten und auch bezahlen
Schade dasxes jein Frühstück mehr gibt.

Plus un B&B qu'un hôtel

Semble plus à un ensemble d'appartements regroupés qu'à un hôtel. Pas de petit déjeuner, accueil limité au matin. L'espace dans la chambre était limite pour être à 3 avec une enfant. Très bien situé par contre à environ 200m de la plage c'est super.

Très bon séjour en dehors que de voir des gens à la réception nous aurait fait plaisir...
Niveau propreté au top nous avons bien dormi et un balcon très spacieux le seul inconvénient c'est qu'il n'y a pas de volets pour la lumière et que les rideaux laisse encore rentré du jour.... car la lumière sur le balcon ne s'éteint pas le seul inconvénient

Für eine kurze Nacht ganz ok.

Man muss sich die Bilder sehr genau anschauen, will man herausfinden, was man eigentlich gebucht hat. Die Betten sehen größer aus als in der Realität. Da es keine Klimaanlage und keine Möglichkeit für Durchzug gab, kann es verdammt heiß werden. Zimmer und Bad waren recht beengt, aber auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht und für einen Preis von ca. 45 € noch gerade so ok. Das Prozedere von Check-In/Check-Out lief reibungslos und der Herr an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Alles war sehr sauber und da wir Corona-bedingt keine Nachbarn hatten, war es auch sehr ruhig. Das Hotel liegt zentral in El Arenal in einer kleinen Seitenstraße. Gute Anbindung zum Bus. Einen Parkplatz zu finden, ist eher schwierig.

das einzige, was man als negativ bezeichnen könnte wäre die ringhörigkeit. aber wenn man am ballermann urlaub macht, sucht man ja nicht unbedingt ruhe und erholung. 😉
kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. 😄

Clean, great wifi; need good coffee for breakfast!

NEGATIVES: In a hotel of several floors I missed an elevator and the rooms are rather small with an air conditioning pointing directly to you head while you are sleeping. Hotel is a littler bit outdated, e.g. using fisical keys instead of magnetic cards or pin numbers. POSITIVES: the room was very tidy, personnel very friendly and helpful and location is very close to the beach and ameneties. Wi Fi was working perfectly!! ADVISE: What I would improve is to have something hot for breakfast, like sausages or scrambled eggs and better coffee… guy, coffee was awful, both in capsules and in the pot. Please, bring decent coffee and a small variety of hot food for breakfast, that is enough for a man to be happy and to overlook all shortfalls. ;-) Good luck, I know the economy is tough on you!!

Kleines familien geführtes Hotel mit nur 24 Zimmern. Zentrale Lage in El Arenal am Ballneareo 2. 100m zum Strand in eojer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Bad ist sehr klein, aber mit allem waa man braucht ausgestatter. Das Frühstück ist absolut top und kann auch auf einer Terrasse zum Hof eingenommen werden. Alles Bewertungen sind in Relation zu dem Übernachtungspreis von 44 € pro Doppelzimmer inkl. Frphstück entstanden. Das Hotel.ist für einen Kurzurlaub sehr zuvempfehlen.

Prima ontbijt met keuze uit diverse dingen.
Hotel is 24/7 open, dus je kan altijd na binnen. Aangezien je sleutel weer inlevert aan de receptie als je weer even weg bent.

Enige wat iets minder was is dat de kamers wel gehorige zijn. En voor mij was het bed wel te hard voor iemand met een slechte rug.
Maar verder was het een prima verblijf :)

Einfaches gepflegtes Hotel in guter Lage

Es ist ein einfaches aber gepflegtes Hotel, es war alles sauber und gut eingerichtet. Nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß zur Promenade und Strand (Balneario 2) mit zahlreichen Restaurants, Bars und Kneipen direkt um die Ecke und ca. 10min zu Fuß zu Megapark & Co. Es war auch gut einen Balkon zu haben, auch wenn man hier nicht direkt das Meer sieht.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und ich würde hier wieder herkommen.

Hôtel au calme mais pas calme. Accueil parfait.

Hôtel situé au calme mais avec murs en papier. Donc quand déboulent des hystériques à minuit vous ne dormez pas/plus du tout. Super personnel au top, soi-disant présent 24/24, mais du coup je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils n'interviennent pas dans ce genre de situation : fous qui courent de haut en bas de l'hôtel, qui claquent les portes, qui crient à 2 h du matin... ?? On est dans un petit hôtel, pas dans un club de vacances !

Ich habe in diesem Hotel 5 Nächte übernachtet und war total zufrieden. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend und lecker. Das Personal war sehr lieb und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber fein und sauber war es auch 👌
Der Strand ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Nebenan sind viele kleine Läden und die Bushaltestelle ist auch nicht weit.
Ich würde dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen 😊👌
