We'd been really looking forward to our stay here based on the reviews, but unfortunately were left disappointed. On arrival the room we were taken to a double room when we had booked a twin. After a lot of discussion between the staff about whether Expedia had passed the request on and what could be done, they did convert the room to a twin, but we were made to feel uncomfortable and that they were doing us a favour.

The room itself is lovely, a little small but spotlessly clean, with super comfortable beds, good air-con and a great, spacious bathroom. However noise from the street can be heard until late at night and starts again early in the morning from the nearby market and school.

Breakfast was honestly a bit of a spectacle. The food is all very lovely and it is obvious a lot of work goes into the several-course spread, but it feels over the top and there is so much waste. The encounter was made a little odd by the restaurant manager coming over mid-way and removing the salad garnish from our plates - I'm still not sure why. We were also charged for our hot drinks with breakfast which wasn't made clear, and then short-changed as the hotel didn't have the right change available.

The location is great - walking distance to Skanderberg Square, all the sites and the airport bus, but overall we would stay elsewhere when returning to Tirana.

Would definitely recommend this great little hotel

Wonderful little hotel, just a few minutes walk from Skanderbeg Square and the bus station. It was clean, and my single room was large enough, had a lovely en-suite with a great shower. The staff were so friendly - welcoming and helpful (printed my boarding pass last minute without a problem - Ryanair travellers beware, can’t use app for return flight from Tirana!), and the guys in the restaurant were just lovely. As others have mentioned, the breakfast was incredible! So much of it, I didn’t need to eat again until a light meal in the evening! I’d love to go back to Tirana, and if I do would definitely head back to Hotel Boutique Gloria.

What an awesome stay!

We loved our stay at Gloria! The bed and pillows were great. The quietness was also very welcomed. The breakfast though was beyond compare with four courses, including amazing juices, fruit, cheeses, bread, and so much more. I would come back for the breakfast over and over!

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff really make all of the difference though, they are all so polite and helpful with anything that you might need. The included breakfast is also delicious. We were greeted very warmly. The most surprising element was the 3 course sit down breakfast. Soup, omelette, 6 kinds of fruit, cold veggies, cheese, bacon followed by pancake with fruit, yogourt and cake. If course fresh blended juice and cappuccino.
We recommend this small hotel highly. It is a short walk from square.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Tirana!! Beautiful rooms, really nicely decorated and laid out and really convenient location.

The staff were really fantastic also!! We particularly appreciated the waiter in the breakfast room who was so enthusiastic about the fantastic food and was really helpful.

The lady on the front desk was also really helpful and friendly and checked in a few times to make sure our visit was progressing well.

Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Staff was very friendly. Property was clean and service was excellent. Room a little small, but it was neat with new furniture and comfortable bed. It was very quiet with no noise at all. Food service was pretty good. Restaurant was on the terrace, where you can eat dinner, and also free breakfast was served, which was pretty good. Hotel is small. I give 5 stars.

Great hotel with helpful staff

Comfortable room. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the owner, to the reception staff, the waiters and the cleaning staff. Every single member of staff we interacted with was lovely.
Location is great, just off one corner of the main square.

Dinner in the restaurant was very good.

The breakfast is among the best I’ve had in any hotel anywhere. Truly exceptional.

This is the gem of Tirana. We spent 5 days there in September '21. This Central location just off a main road couldn't be better. We could walk almost anywhere. Stayed in the larger room which was comfortable and spotless. Staff and service was beyond expectations. The manager was attentive and asked daily how was our visit. When I commented the internet was somewhat slow one day, he had the company send out a technician who concluded it was the internet company fault during upgrade process. When I complimented how refreshing the breakfast water with mint, ginger and lime was one morning, I found a complementary bottle in the minibar that afternoon. This is a small 6 room boutique hotel and if you want something quaint, quiet and in a safe central location you won't be disappointed. The included breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was the best we have had at any hotel anywhere, and we travel extensively. I usually do not review hotels, but this hotel is a great value/experience choice.

One of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless, and our room, although not overly large, had everything we required. The hotel is situated just a couple minutes from the centre, with Skanderberg square nearby. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant was very enjoyable, with everything freshly prepared. Our waiter, Soni, was very charming and attentive. We also dined there in the evenings, and the food was delicious. A wide and varied menu, and excellent wines. The restaurant manager was extremely efficient, and courteous, and the service was impressive. A lovely stay, and a very interesting city, I would recommend this hotel to anybody thinking of staying in Tiranë.

Sehr zentral und dafür ein top Preis! Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist schön und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war war der Wahnsinn!

Amazing hotel with fabulous service

We spent three nights in this amazing hotel in central Tirana.

Location is perfect so you have easy access to the central parts of Tirana.

Breakfast is included in the price and was fantastic. You don’t have to eat until late in the evening after enjoying this breakfast.

And the most impressive thing is the level of service at this hotel. All the staff working in the hotel do everything they can to give you a great experience during your stay.

I can really recommend this hotel and will definitely stay at this hotel next time we come back to Tirana.

Took taxi from airport,aprox 30 min, costs 2500 LEK. Could have taken a bus, but we were delayed, so we did not want to search for bus. The hotel is close to down town Tirana, in a quiet street. Nobody in receiption when we arrived. We found them up in the restaurant at the top floor. They were very friendly and helpful, and we ordered dinner there at the same time, very good food. The room was not very big, but we did not stay there much. Small bathroom also, but nice and clean. Bed was a bit to soft. Breakfast was very very good, omelett/bacon/bread/a lot of different fruit. We tecommend this hotel for a night or two

総てにおいて快適でした。当初レストラン側の入口から入ってしまったため、レセプションの場所がわかりませんでしたが、レストランのスタッフの方が親切に案内してくれました。
ホテルの場所は待ちの中心部にあり、バザールにも近くて便利な場所にあります。
朝食はお洒落なもので、味わう価値は十分にあると思います。
部屋も毎日しっかりと清掃されて、気分良く過ごすことができました。

Good but should have separate ventilation!

This is a beautiful little personal hotel! The staff speaks great English, the rooms are small but personal, and the location is great. Also the breakfast is amazing!

However, we had problems with cigarette smoke coming into our room through the ventilation on multiple occasions. One time it was during the night, as heavy as if someone had smoked several cigarettes right in our room, and it woke us up and was really difficult to air out. I do hope this was a one-time occurrence but for us it unfortunately really reduced the quality of our stay.

Séjour fantastique, meilleur déjeuner de tous les hôtels de ces 6 derniers mois de voyage.
Il y a eu un problème de wifi, mais ils ont réussi à le refaire marcher le soir même.
Je reviendrais sans hésiter mais je ne leur confierais pas à nouveau ma lessive car ils collaborent avec une compagnie qui pratique des prix abusifs pour les Balkans. 16000 leke pour trois sacs de lessive. Nous nous sommes plaints à l'hôtel qui a réussi à nous obtenir un rabais de 10%.

Hotellet är helt underbart, sängar, läge, service och frukosten är fantastisk med en excellent kypare. Personalen talar bra engelska. Det är gångavstånd till mycket, Bunker’Art2, kyrktornet, pyramiden, nya basarerna, det enorma Skanderbeg torget, mm. I Bunker’Art2 fick vi ta del av Albaniens historia, vilket var mycket intressant!

Noch nie hatte ich so ein reichhaltiges und liebevoll hergerichtetes Frühstück, welches noch mit perfektem Service serviert wird. Die Lage in der Nähe des Zentrums mit eigenen Parkplätzen ist für Ausflüge top.

Peccato per la camera veramente minuscola, molto più piccola della dimensione dichiarata, con uno spazio minimo per muoversi intorno al letto. E anche per l'arredamento dall'aspetto un po' dozzinale.
