I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with mobility issues as there's a flight of stairs to climb in and out of the hotel. Breakfast location is another 10 mins walk. The water from the shower stall runs all over the bathroom and I was afraid of slipping. Location wise, it's very convenient to most tourist attractions.

Room was clean and in a great location. Aircon worked very well and wasn't overly loud. Room also had a fridge and there was complimentary water. Room was as described. To find you have to go through a little alley and up into a dentist office but name of dentist is the same as the hotel- putting in the review as previous reviews are how I knew to do this. There is some road noise but didn't find this to be a problem with earplugs. Breakfast is at a separate location with most of the options being crepes but there are a few other bits too. You can choose whether to have daily cleaning or do not disturb and the front desk is always manned in case of questions.

The rooms are in excellent location near city centre but very small rooms. The room no 106 had a shower with a incline towards the door. So after the shower whole bathroom became a pool. This needs to be sorted very soon

Clean room. Lovely breakfast which was actually in a nearby restaurant. The fact that the rooms were in a dentist office was very odd and made it difficult to find but once we were there the were no issues. A bit of the shower was broken in the room but we worked around this and there was a boiler/hot water tank in the room which was noisy and woke us up in the middle of the night when other people were using water. But all in all I can’t complain for a one night stay and it was cheap and comfortable.

The room was clean and good sized. The bathroom shower didn’t have a door it it made the entire bathroom wet and we had to keep drying it. The balcony was a nice addition and had a view of the square!

Follow the signs on the road to the steps and to the desk at the dentist.

The breakfast is at UFO Bar which is a 5 mins walk away. Choose a crepe or eggs breakfast. And a drink.

Small issue with the first room however they moved us very quickly to another room
Cant fault them at all
Yes the entrance is a dentists waiting room but it was very efficent
I think we would stay again, its very central in Tirana
It seems loud outside but the sound proofing was brilliant and the rooms were silent
Decent sized fridge and two bottles of water which was a nice touch
Overall it did what it said on the tin and we LOVED Albania!

Pros: great location near Skanderburg Square. Good breakfast. 24 hr staff.

Cons: our room felt unfinished. The floors felt dirty and institutional. From photos online some of the other rooms are nicer.

The hotel seems to be part of a dental clinic - they share the same reception and we could clear the cleanings in the morning. The breakfast bar is not on site but a 3 minute walk away. Hotel is accessible through an alleyway and up some stairs.

This is absolutely perfect for a solo traveller. The room is small but has everything you need. The bathroom was very nice. It could not be closer to the centre of the city. Lots of food options nearby, grocery stores close too. Walkable to everything. Free breakfast at a nearby cafe was very tasty. Next to a busy road but with the windows closed I slept very very well, even for afternoon naps! Would stay here again.

Strange, but okay

Strangely, this place is situated within a (24 hour?) dental surgery.

The room itself looks fairly nearly done-up. The bathroom we had was a wet room with a showerhead that was broken so when you turn it on the entire room is soaked from top to bottom.

The air con in the room points directly at one of the beds so if it is hot and you need air con on overnight, be prepared to either be so hot you can’t sleep or absolutely freezing cold because the air con blows on you.

We may have been unlucky with timings as there was a concert at the main square every night of our stay that made our room loud all night long.

We also had a few regular power cuts and when we asked reception, he seemed nonchalant as if it happens all the time.

Nice spot in the heart of Tirana

Based in a cosmetic dentistry office building, the Ufo Rooms is a funky set of rooms renovated for visitors in the heart of Tirana. There are a few quirks to be sure. One - the check-in for the hotel is the same as for the dentist office, so you may have to wait on patients before you get checked in. Two - you will have to climb one or more flights of stairs, passing through some pretty rugged looking hallways on the way. Once you are in your room, however, it's a fabulous stay.

Parking is a little tricky - they have arrangements with a parking lot about a ten minute walk away. Breakfast is also a voucher for a cafe that is a few minutes walk away as well.

The best part, without question, is access to all that is central Tirana. From the rooms there is no more than 15 minutes to all the best sites such as Skanderbeg Square, The Pyramid, BunkArt 2, and the Tirana Castle.

All in all, though, a really nice stay in a city that is up-and-coming on the travel destination scene,

So I’ve traveling all through Europe the last few months, and this was by far the best property I’ve had the pleasure of booking. The room was immaculate and location perfect. The guys working the front desk were outstanding. The location was central to everything. My only regret was that I couldn’t extend my stay an extra three days and was forced to book accommodations not nearly as nice as UFO rooms.

Quality fittings and bedding plus water
you could cook an egg in….
Very pleasant staff, even breakfast should you wish to take a short stroll to enjoy !
Fridge with bottled water plus kettle with tea bags…. The city traffic let’s you know it’s there, however, it’s all part of the vibe….Extremely pleased, will definitely stay again.

There was trouble with the functioning of the air condition, the hand shower was not working (only roof shower) and there was noise from traffic at night. Breakfast in another location ok but the waiting time there was too long. Other than those a basic twin room. A note for people who plan hotel rooms: when a room is for two people, why on earth there is a level for just one bag? Also two chairs are needed, as well as a good amount of hangers. And shower area should be closed so that all bathroom floor would not be wet after shower. A dry place in the bathroom is needed where to place your things. More hooks and rails fr drying towels+laundry is always welcome.

very clean rooms! The beds were comfortable, and the shower was also clean and worked great. The room had all the necessary amenities.

Breakfast was served at a different location, but it was only a 3–4 minute walk away and offered a good variety of options.

The only remark I would make is about the windows. They were not very well insulated, so it got a bit cold in the evenings as the cold air came through. However, the air conditioning worked very well, so we didn’t really feel it. On the downside, you could also hear everything from outside as if it were inside, so the sound insulation could definitely be improved.

Otherwise, the location was excellent, very central and close to everything.
The staff were also very nice and friendly.
Reception was open 24/7.

I would definitely recommend this place!
