Stayed here for my honeymoon and the experience was amazing. Breakfast was great with alot of options. Room service was on point and room was spacious and clean. Location is in the heart of Ubud with easy access to alot of restaurants. I will definitely stay back here again if I come back to Ubud. The provide alot of tours around Bali and prices are reasonable. Driver Wayan is super friendly, easy to work with and stops us at multiple touristy areas and sceneries. Thank you for making our honeymoon memorable, Aria Resort Team!

Beautiful villa, very friendly staff and efficient communication via what’s app. Enjoyed breakfast in Villa every morning served with a smile. Great massage in room to relieve muscle pain from walking and cycling. Villa is close to centre of Ubud but lack of footpath requires some courage. Great eco laundry a few minutes away.

The area is close to downtown (about a 5-7 min walk to the main road) but far enough away that it is quiet. The rooms and facilities are pristine and the staff is phenomenal.

The staff could not be nicer, friendlier or more lovely. They remember our names and greeted us at every occasion which was so nice. Very good customer service, always attentive and very responsive on WhatsApp. An extra touch was that we received a wonderful complimentary 10 minute shoulder massage after arriving. The villa was beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic. Could not recommend more. Location was great too, central but on a side road away from the business and a sunset spot. My only gripe was that the lighting in the rooms were a bit dim.

Another 10 minutes down the main road takes you to the main attractions in Unid centre including the Ubud market, palace and Saraswati temple. Great villa, and friendly staff. Unfortunately, we were given a villa that had insects coming out of the wall behind the bed, resulting in many insects on the bed, floor and headboard. This was only made worse when, upon informing resort staff of the issue, the only assistance they could provide was giving us a insect repellant spray

The pool villa was amazing, we felt like we had the privacy of being in the middle of a jungle, but with an incredibly hospitable staff. The breakfast and coffee here is absolutely top tier and the rims are maintained to a very high standard. The wifi and AC were very strong and we had no issues with bugs in the run. While it is walkable to the market, grab was very convenient.

Aria villas is a beautiful modern contemporary villa which was very private and relaxing to stay in. From receiving us at the reception desk through to our final goodbyes our stay at Aria Villas was exceptional.
The whole place is clean and well kept. The villas themselves are bright, airy, well furnished, free from mould and, very clean. The outside bathroom has a good sized bath and a shower with large rain head - shower has good water pressure.
Bedroom and lounge - massive bed, which is very comfortable, cushioned settee, small table and a unique ‘rod’ chair. There is also an outside area, which is undercover and has another large daybed/lounge, breakfast table and two chairs. The pool is gorgeous. Open to the sun, you don’t get that cold shock when getting into the pool. It is a good size and depth.
The food is very nice. Breakfasts are delicious; you have a choice of traditional or western food with the usual accompaniment of juices, tea or coffee, and bakery products.
On arrival we enquired about scooter hire; within the hour a scooter was waiting complete with helmets. Great service and a very good, up to date model.
For us there was no downside to our stay at Aria Villas. It far exceeded our expectations and just added that something extra to our holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending Aria Villas for your next stay in Ubud.
We were so taken with the property and everything about it that we will definitely be returning some time in the future.

Wonderful Experience

This is a really great Hotel offering unparalleled privacy and a standard not expected. Far enough from the main area to achieve tranquility yet close enough 500m for a casual walk into the main street and just a further 300m to the markets so its ideally located. Our butler Gun was outstanding, so helpful and informative and nothing was a problem and he seriously made our stay 5 star. We would have no hesitation in staying here next time we visit Ubud though it would be more than 3 days.

Needs an upgrade we paid a lot of money for our stay and we were very disappointed yes with less than acceptable accommodation. Wifi that didn’t work, ants everywhere we couldn’t sit out on the lounger by the pool and in the children’s bedroom. That was dank and a dull after thought. The villas were truly beautiful BUT, the aircon in the villa just couldn’t keep the room cool . Apparently an on going problem with other travelers also not happy. They brought in a fan ,but the lowest temp we could get was 29 degrees at 1 am. We also could only use wifi if we sat outside in the sun.breakfast was always delivered cold.we felt we should have been offered compensation,but care factor was zero

We had the most amazing stay at Aria Villas. From the minute we arrived we were so well looked after and nothing was too much for the staff. The stunning pool and villa was exactly what we needed to wind down and relax. Very contemporary in their feel, light, bright and oh so comfy. The villas in real life were even better than the photos (and they look sensational in the photos)! Most days we popped down to the main street in Ubud for a wander (do try Seniman coffee if you are a coffee lover) and it was so great to come back and relax by our pool where we could buzz reception if we needed anything. The daily breakfasts delivered were sensational and the staff were more than happy to drop us down to the main street if needed. We found the 10 minute walk back very easy and certainly didn't feel like it was a hard at all to do each day, even in the humid heat. We wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are in Ubud again.

Stayed in villa 1 for 2 nights. Great, relaxing place to escape Ubud's crowds and insane traffic. It's a 10 min walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and the pool was nice if a bit cold! Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and you can take whatever you like.

The only negative was the bathtub. There was not enough hot water to use the bathtub and even if there had been, the water leaked out of the plughole anyway. This was a disappointment for me as I intentionally booked accommodation with a bathtub but couldn't use it.

These are beautiful villas walking distance from Ubud. The staff are wonderful people.

The issue we had is that despite booking one of the better villas for a week of \"serenity\" (their description) our serenity was severely dented by the owners booking 5 adults up for a weekend trip to a Bali wedding into the family villa next to us. From their on arrival demands of a bigger fridge for their alcohol to their loud music, loud voices and lack of any sense of other guests rights - our serenity turned to disappointment. The villas share walls - in our case not all concrete and only about 2.5m high outside. We may as well have been at their party - but it was not what we were up for or interested in. It felt like Kuta at its worst. Our complaint was answered by asking the \"neighbours\" to turn it down ... lol From then on the management proved it was pretty much incapable of doing anything about it. Don't run the risk of a bad experience. There are plenty of other places that wouldnt allow this.

What an incredible stay! My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights on our honeymoon and never wanted to leave. This was our favorite place we stayed over our 2 weeks in Bali.

The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and the check-in process is very unique...instead of sitting in a lobby signing papers, you are taken directly to your villa and given a welcome massage.

The villa itself is stunning. An infinity pool hangs over the jungle with an outdoor lounge area. The room is spacious and opens up to the view, with a very sexy outdoor shower and tub.

I can't say enough about the incredible service here. I left my iPhone in a cab on my last night and wound up sprinting after the driver. Just when all hope was lost, a man on a scooter picked me up and we chased him down in the middle of town and found my phone! TRIP SAVED! Turns out this man was the General manager of Aria and heard me yell a profanity and take off on foot. I will never forget this heroic act. He laughed and reminded me of the power of karma.

Stop looking and book this villa now. Enjoy!!

Upon arriving we were greeted with a smile and a complimentary massage and cocktail which was completely unexpected. Our room was clean, modern and very private... the pool was a definite highlight.

We stayed in the valley villa (as apposed to the terrace villa) which is a lot more private and feels that bit more luxurious. The villas themselves are minimalistic in style, but modern and luxurious.

Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating, and our daily breakfast set up at our villa each morning was a highlight - although our order was messed up a few times, but a minor issue.

Some negatives... There is no complimentary hotel pickup or shuttle to the city centre. This means you will need to either walk the 10-15minutes to the centre (which doesnt seem bad, until you start to walk it everyday in the heat), and walking back at night lacks lighting along its narrow road. There is no foot paths which is common in Bali.

Nice private space close to Ubud

We stayed at the villa 3 nights, and really enjoyed having private space after 2 weeks in hotel rooms. The staff here really make the villa, going above and beyond. For example on our first night we arrived late and were hungry, so they arranged a takeaway to be delivered to our room.

The only slight downsides for us was that there was stains on our bed when we arrived, we were so tired we slept in it and when we spoke to them the next day the bedding was quickly changed. We were also not sure about the colour of the pool, but continued anyway, the pool then got cleaned on the Friday and the colour was different and much more blue. Finally, we got woken up at 6am every morning from a rooster/chicken who continued with his noise all day. This is not the hotels fault at all but I think worth noting.

Back to the positives.... We did a day trip which was brilliant, we went out with one of the butlers from the hotel in a nice air conditioned car. His driving, knowledge and stories were great and we really got a feel for the culture of Bali. We also had a massage on our final morning, in our garden... This was again great! I would highly recommend both of these to anyone.

We loved getting to choose our breakfasts the day before, which then get delivered to your room at your chosen time. Sitting outside in our private garden, enjoying the morning sunshine over breakfast was lovely.

The villas really do have a wow factor, and I would definitely stay again.

Everything about Aria Villas was excellent. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, but were in no way intrusive. Facilities were great, and the included breakfasts set you up for the day. The location was great, being an easy walk to the centre of town. We chose to extend our stay, which they accommodated at short notice and we were able to arrange a late check-out, again with no problems. A great stress-free place to stay.

Modern and Private villa gem in the heart of Ubud

My partner and I booked the Valley Room for a total 6 days. Overall, our stay and experience within the villa was amazing and very private. The villa (Villa No.5) was spacious, very clean, and equipped with modern minimalist decor (as seen in the photos). It also helped that our villa was right at the end of the row, ensuring all the privacy we needed for our stay. Everything was in well-working condition upon arrival. However, the air-conditioning could have been colder - but that was a very small issue, so we didn't bring it up during our stay. Breakfast was delivered every morning on time according to the time we wanted it, and hotel staff were extremely accommodating and helpful always. The amazing bathroom was very inviting, and perfect for couples with 'his' and 'her' wardrobes and sinks. An outdoor shower and bathtub also made the experience very relaxing. Hotel staff were also quick to bring the villa anything we required like extra ice, or an ironing board. We also got an extension on our last day for a late check-out as our flight back home was really late at night. Really appreciated it! Hotel is about a slow 10-minute walk from Ubud Centre, which makes it very convenient to walk back to the villa after lunch/yoga/shopping etc;. I would recommend this hotel to couples and small families if you're looking for a private, quiet, and well-furnished villa in Ubud. Definitely staying here on my next trip back in Ubud.

Amazing stay in Ubud

This is an absolutely amazing hotel. When we got the this place, it was so peaceful and calm, we were greeted with our welcome massage and drink. The hotel is very pretty and boutique. Our villa was very nicely located and the room itself was faultless. I would only find the smallest problem with the fact that the Air Con was not cold enough but it wasn't a show stopper. The service was great and the staff are always happy to help.

Excellent buildings & rooms, very comfortable, quiet & private, away from the busy roads but still within walking distance to cafes & shops. Very spacious villas & best part was the saltwater pool! I recommend grtting driven from the villa to go elsewhere as the roads are not pedestrian friendly.

Great villas with lovely staff.

Had a lovely stay at Aris villas, the setting and aspect is extremely pleasing, the only downside was noisy neighbours who were next door who certainly impeeded on our ability to relax with the sounds of the forest below. Have to say though that the villa staff were very apologetic and asked them to lower the noice on a couple of occasions. All in all great stay and look forward to noting another stay there in the future so we can enjoy the tranquil settings!

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at Aria villas, our only regret is that it should have been longer. From the moment we checked in, we were received a warm greeting accompanied by a mini massage & delicious welcome drink. The villa, outdoor space & pool with a back drop of the jungle were superb. The breakfasts and room service were delicious! The villa is a convenient 5 minute wak from the main road in Ubud. The fitness center membership included with the stay is a 5 minute walk away. We would definetly recommend staying here and will certainly return.

5 nights at Aria Villas in Ubud was the first stop on our honeymoon. The hotel and experience was Perfect!
The rooms: Beautiful, modern, spacious, clean, comfortable. Tip: opt for the Valley view rooms for the best & most private view. We loved our private pool & the lawn and covered outdoor space were great! Its felt like our beautiful; home away from home. Very rarely do the pictures of a hotel room live up to the real world test, but in this case it was even better. I can't say enough.
The service: World Class. Gusti ended up being our de- acto driver and tour guide and he was great! He knew so much about the attractions that we visited and i think we wouldn't have enjoyed them nearly as much without his insight. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk to the spa team was just amazing. Pleasant and helpful. They really made the experience. They really made us feel like we were special.
Food: The in room food (hello, breakfast is amazing) was delicious and almost unbelievable inexpensive. We ended dup eating almost all of our meals at the hotel because we didn't want to leave the room and the food was amazing.
Location: The location couldn't be better. Close to central Ubud & the attractions but far enough away so that the only noises you hear are the wildlife.
Conclusion: While I'm sure that some of the upper echelon hotel options in Ubud offer grander hotel environment and maybe more exc, Aria Villas offers all the privacy and luxury with out the pretense and price.

More than you could expect in Ubud. We (5 people) stayed in Villa 8, whih can be combined with Villa 7 to accommodate 7-8 people. Rooms and facilities are well maintained and very clean and tidy. The service level and attitude of the staff is well above what you could expect (and on Bali the general expectation of service is high to start with); they do that little extra and really make sure your stay is comfortable, seamless and very enjoyable. If you want something or have a problem, just ask and they will sort it out for you. Villa Aria is located very conveniently on a 10-15 min walking distance from central Ubud (good when you want a day of shopping or just wandering around) but is quiet and relaxing just 400 m off the one \"high street\". This is The Place to stay at when in Ubud.

Heaven a few minutes walk from Ubud Centre

My wife and I stayed in an Aria villa for 4 nights in December, and loved every minute. Staff were friendly and professional, the villa with its outdoor bath and private pool was luxurious and contemporary, the private breakfasts in our garden delicious, and the overall experience perfect. Aria Villas really is an oasis close to the heart of Ubud and I would recommend it to anyone. We would go back in a flash!

This small 8 room boutique hotel, is a gem!
It's architecture blends in with nature.
The open air shower & soaking tub & private pool was unusual.
All you could hear from the surrounding area of Trees , flowering trees was the birds, roosters & crickets etc. no city sounds !

Loved the retro feel. Villa number 8 is a 10 min walk to Ubud central. There is a free shuttle to drop you there also. The master room was amazing with it's tub and sun lit shower. The two smaller rooms are down under the pool. All rooms were beautiful with own shower. Staff were so wonderful. Only thing is the two rooms down stairs can't connect to the wifi but if you can deal with that then it is pretty much perfection!

I'll preface my review by noting that if you seek traditional Bali Baroque--a place brimming with Balinese crafts, intricately carved wooden doors and furnishings, gauzy mosquito netting surrounding the bed--then this place isn't for you. It's a Dutch modernist's dream in polished concrete and floor-to-ceiling glass, in cool monochromatic tones with warm color accents and discreet instances of antique wood-carvers' art. This was our hands-down favorite of 8 different lodgings sampled around Bali in the span of a month. Beautifully situated overlooking a tree-filled valley, just 15-minutes' stroll along one of Ubud's quieter side streets from the Puri Saren Palace in the heart of town. Spacious, impeccably clean, with a most comfortable mattress and the best pillows we've experienced away from home in years. Terrific food, all made to order and served in your villa at your leisure, with a pair of Ubud's top chefs (from Locavore) consulting on the menu. The spa's masseuses were among the best we had in Bali, and we sampled them everywhere we went (at such low prices how can you not!). General Manager Karim and his staff went above and beyond at multiple points in our stay, from lending me appropriate clothing for a temple visit to doggedly pursuing the return of a cash refund on my behalf for unused transport services I’d arranged while staying elsewhere on Bali. In sum: absolutely deserving 5 stars; a true tempat paling keren.

It is your own slice of heaven . Close enough to town to walk or hire a scooter and tour the streets and restaurants further afield . Very friendly and professional staff make you feel like your at home without intruding
