Been to Ubud many times but first time staying there. The Best Westen was a great location and the room immaculate. Well done to the hotel staff. They all were very attentive. Buffet breakfast was good. There was a lot of choice. They run a shuttle bus every 2 hours to the centre. It is a 20min walk downhill. Last shuttle back is 9.15pm from the palace.

I did have a wobbly toilet seat that I reported the first day and they fixed it perfectly straight away. (My only critic is - I am not sure why it was not picked up by staff when they cleaned /prepared the room though?).
I did go out for the day and when I got back to untidy room, I realised I had kept my do not disturb sign on, my bad. I turned it off 3.20pm and went round the pool. Getting back to my room and hr later 4.30pm and room spotless. Bless them. They must have been waiting /checking for the light to go out. Fantastic service!

There was some maintenance going on outside next to the buffet. They were laying a stone Terrace. One man, he wasn’t noisy and did almost complete by the time we left. It looked great.

Area to focus on
1. - is a big one - maintenance on the decking around the pool needs semi urgent repair work. This include stair rail from top pool to lower pool wobbles.

2. Service wise around the pool was non-existent! There was a board behind the pool bar saying happy hour drinks, but there was nobody attending the bar. People were around 3-5pm. Also pool loungers cushions needed upper pool

We are canadians in the middle of a dark winter and we were put in the basement room.That wasn't very light and bright. That is the only thing they could have improved on, possibly having a better room.

I ended up booking this on a whim because I had used expedia to book Suparsa Homestay across the street but despite me paying for my room ahead of time they had given it to someone else. At 9pm I was stranded with a huge suitcase trying to find a solution. I was disappointed in Expedia and have learned not to use them in Bali as this has happened to many tourists.

Once I found the Best Western, they felt so bad for what happened that they upgraded my room by three levels without me asking. They were very friendly and kind. I slept soundly as the hotel is very quiet. The trees at the back were an incredible view for morning coffee. Breakfast was buffet style. There’s a nice coffee machine and good service. It’s good food, but if you can swing a top rated cafe of course you may have better food (it’s all within walking distance) although the ambiance is nice around the pool. Thank you so much!

Such an amazing hotel. There were a few bumps during the stay but they took in all of my requests and made it special for my anniversary. It was unfortunate that the room they have upgraded me was rather poor in air conditioning and the changed room had an issue with the bathtub, but all in all has been a pleasant stay. The bed was amazing and the view and the tranquility away from the buzz is well worth. Breakfast is really top notch quality and I know why people were raving about it. Delicious! ❤️

For the most part the property is nice. It’s a little outside Ubud Centre but it’s quite which is good. The most upsetting part of our stay was the hotel booking us a taxi to the center and it costing 150,000. This is more than 3 times what it costs when you flag one. We also got a very small bit of washing done by the hotel. It came back to us in excellent condition and the same day but it’s cost more than 300,000 which is laughable. All in all we paid almost 800,000 for 4 drinks and our washing to be done. This caught us by surprise when checking out.

Actually hotel was good location but compare to price... it was old. When I first came into the lobby, staffs are even not say really hello to us. It was completely not busy. Also, check out I was not happy with staff service. She have to let us know me before I ask her about good to go. Because i had to hurry to next place. I hurry to go. She saw. Room clean was just fair. I am not planning to go back to the hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay with the Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud. They upgraded us and the room was amazing and the pool was even better. The staff had very good English and would help us with all we needed to know. The breakfast was good and in a nice location of the resort. The lady that works in the pool bar in particular was so attentive and kind. Was in a good location we found it easier to walk into town rather then getting a shuttle bus as it was a 15 minutes or less walk. We will definitely be staying back here again.

The resort is situated in a great location, its beautiful. I got a complimemtary massage which was awesome. ideally everything was exceptional except for;

1. There is a stench in the room, probably from the plumbing system, but its disgusting
2. At breakfast I noticed that I had to ask for coffee refills. I could not go and get my own coffee like everything else in the buffet.
Seeing that I usually have about 3 cups, this was quite an inconvenicne, bc I had to get up and locate the police of the coffee pot, then she had to go get the coffee and bring to my table.

I think it would be best to allow anyone to just go get their own coffee. After all, we from the western world cant survive without it.

Saying that this is hands down the best hotel we've stayed in so far would be an understatement. While the hotel might not have the glitz and glamour of Ritz Carltons or Hiltons, it is stellar in terms of the hospitality offered. Even before our trip began, we can tell how meticulous the staffs in the hotel are by how promptly they reply to all our queries. Right from the arrival at the doorsteps, we were greeted with a warm welcome with snacks and cold drinks upon arrival. They offered to give us a morning call at 1 am as well as a packed breakfast together with bottled water for our Mount Batur sunrise trekking where the driver was supposed to pick us up at 2am in the morning.

As for the activities offered, there are complimentary activities like poolside yoga, morning walk in paddy field and massage is a nice touch as well. If you are more adventurous, Ubud centre is a stone throw away, a short 15 minutes walk will get you there. If you are not keen on walking under the hot Bali sun, a relatively frequent shuttle to Ubud Palace is also offered as a mean to get to the centre of the activity.

Las but not least, the room was clean, spacious and well equipped. By spacious, I mean SPACIOUS. Just to get a sense of how generous the space is, the toilet itself has a full size bathtub and a full-size cubicle shower area.

All in all, the place has a very warm and welcoming feel to it. Will definitely recommend this to any traveler going through Ubud.

The hotel is modern and in a great location just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud town centre but close enough to walk into town which we did often. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to and from the town if you’d rather not walk. The pool area is stunning and clean, the breakfast was generous and tasty and the staff are really friendly.

Beautiful landscape, well-maintained facilities and staff were very friendly.

Location was a bit tucked away from Ubud centre, takes about 15 mins walk. Pleasant walk on cloudy day or evening but can be exhausting when it’s scorching hot.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The only slight let-down was the check-out which took so long for the housekeeping to report to front desk.

This is a beautiful new property with the peaceful mood and music of Bali. It isn’t well run which results in gross inconsistencies in quality and service and difficulty with basic needs like having the hotel reception call a cab. I had an amazing 3 star dinner at this hotel—-tuna seared to perfection with a lemon grass creme brûlée dessert, yet another diner a few nights before was borderline pathetic. The breakfast buffet is good for those without food allergies, but the coffee leaves too much to be desired. Don’t expect a decent cappuccino. You’ll have to take the shuttle into town for that! The staff are very young and aim to please. The other hotel guests are very diverse. I would return to this property but not for a long stay! The rooms could be much cleaner!

Relaxing environment overall. We really enjoyed our Indonesian dinner at the hotel restaurant. Staff were friendly but usually seemed uneasy when asked to provide recommendations, so you would be left to do your own research. All activities and shuttle services must be booked in advance, which can prove inconvenient at times. The spa was disappointing - beautiful setting but amateurish quality.

Excellent accommodation, beautiful pools and gardens, good location for very good price. We stayed in the Executive Double (highly recommend) which was gorgeous - modern with Balinese touches, roomy, very comfy bed and pillows, excellent bathroom setup
The staff are very friendly and always available to help

Quiet location but hotel provides shuttle service to the main street. Simple but satisfactory buffet breakfast. Rustic rooms. AC broke down on the last night at 1am & hotel changed our room to the adjacent room after the engineer wasn't able to fix it on the spot. Service was spot on from booking of the airport transfer, to spa, to room change. Slight hiccup with spa timing (miscommunication of time) but the complimentary spa was the best we had on this trip.

It is not enough staff for reception and need to wait for 15-20 minutes for check in.

Sunlight is too strong in Breakfast Restaurant, so it will be needed to install the sunshade/blind not to be damaged the food.

Cleanness of the restaurant is needed since some ant and fly are coming to the food table.

The services and facilities of the hotel were excellent, and the staff incredibly helpful and friendly.

The location was about a kilometer from Ubud centre, which we found to be an advantage as it was a lot quieter away from the hustle and bustle. A shuttle to the main street was available but we preferred to walk (only takes about 5 minutes). There was a small shop across the street for drinks and snacks, and an amazing spa just down the road.

The only downside was a plumbing issue in our room, but we informed reception on our way out and it was fixed by the time we returned a couple of hours later.

Can't recommend highly enough!

Great hotel and staff, shame the bed was so hard

I spent 4 days at the Best Western during first week of Oct’18. The hotel is very modern with a fantastic pool and lovely grounds. Location is perfect if you don’t want to be right in the ‘thick’ of Ubud Centre as it’s only 15 minutes walk away (or you can use the free shuttle provided by the hotel). The resort staff were friendly and extremely attentive, breakfast is ok (not a huge spread but it’s nice, especially the omelette/pancake stand) and the resort staff are friendly and attentive which made this an enjoyable stay. The only downside for me is that the mattress and pillows are extremely firm which made it difficult for me to sleep. If you don’t mind that/prefer this then it won’t cause you an issue. Overall a very nice stay, I would definitely come again if the sleeping arrangements were more comfortable.

As soon as we walked through the entrance we left our stressful lives behind. Check in was a breeze and we chatted with our clerk as he escorted us to our room. Such friendly and welcoming staff! Nothing was too much trouble yet all the staff appeared relaxed and enjoying being there as much as we were! The gym and pools were well equipped, clean and well maintained and the gardens were just beautiful against a jungle backdrop. The central restaurant offered buffet breakfasts and a la Carte lunch and dinners with a poolside bar for cocktails and snacks. The resort even offers a complimentary afternoon tea which was the perfect pick me up after wandering into town during the day. The resort is the perfect base for a holiday in Ubud- it has enough to keep you busy but is close enough to town that you can explore without any hassles- they even offer a shuttle bus into town. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to go back :)

A perfect stay

An oasis of calm, 10 minutes from Ubud with its shops, restaurants, arts and temples. My ensuite bedroom had balcony views overlooking lush jungle vegetation which I loved. Beautiful pool and excellent restaurant with a huge variety of breakfast choices. Have dinner in the hotel or take the complimentary shuttle to Ubud. I can recommend the Balinese massage in the Spa. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful and make you feel ar home. I stayed for 2 weeks and was sorry to leave. There’s much to see and do in the surrounding area

Long weekend in Ubud

Lovely hotel although breakfast could be better. It felt as though a lot of it was the leftovers from the night before. The rooms are a good size and the pool was very welcoming after a busy day sightseeing. The hotel could make the public areas more welcoming -a few soft chairs and another bar near reception would be a good addition. Overall a nice hotel in a good location.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were surprised by the cleanliness of the place. The hotel looks new, the room we were in was quite spacious. We were blessed to have a pool facing room with a balcony. Breakfast was excellent as well as the dinner menu. The hotel is not far from the shopping area yet very peaceful. We definitely recommend Best Western Premier Agung Resort for people thinking of staying in Ubud.

Best place I stayed on my 14 day trip in Bali.

Good location. Only 5-7 min drive with traffic to Ubud palace/busy area. Great breakfast food as we went to town for dinner. Fresh pancakes and eggs made to your order at breakfast. Free shuttle to town hourly. Pool is beautiful just as pictured. Gym is good home gym setup. Spacious compared to most hotel gyms. Gym will be better when they fix 2 pieces of equipment. Quiet area. Hot water. Great wifi. No elevator but staff takes care of luggage. No onsite laundry (next day service) plus expensive. Ensure you get price before sending out laundry. Ice is only at front desk. We stayed 4 days but wish I had kept this hotel longer. It was the best hotel on my 14 day trip

Great hotel in Ubud, Bali

We loved our stay at Best Western Premier Agung Resort in Ubud! The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view from our private balcony. The breakfast is definitely something you don’t want to miss. We found a lot of great food for lunch and dinner within walking distance from the hotel. Easy walk to Ubud Art Market. Very relaxing pool area. Definitely would love to return to the Best Western Premier Agung Resort.

Tranquil Stay

BW Premier Augung Resort Unud is an amazing place. Our two night stay there was one of the best hotel stays. The place is tranquil and away from all the noises of central ubud bit only a 15 minute walk. The service was excellent and staff are super friendly and caring. There are two beautiful pools to relax.

This hotels has only been open about a year, the staff were really efficient and very friendly, there is a free shuttle bus goes up and down many times per day, the route bus goes is not the shortest, if walking about 10 minutes to centre of Ubud, just go left out front when leaving,
We only eat a buffet breakfast, which is one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel.
Free hotel safe is included in room, free pool towel,
The only thing I did not like is the tiled shower base that did not drain, which ment there was always a small amount of water left after use.
I was ashored they where fixing this,
As it was cleaned daily it did not cause a problem.
