The room was very small and suffocated with not adequate airflow. The actual property did not look like the picture at all. This is a false advertising and it is a shame that hotels.com allow this. Very outdated place. The room smelled unfresh and was not cool even with aircon. The price in hotels.com was actually way higher and no refund.

Overall we had a pleasant experience at the Puri Padma Hotel. We stayed here in between hotels and it had everything we needed for one night. It is pretty central to main part of the city. It was inexpensive and had basic amenities.

Great value conventional hotel

This is a very nice, clean hotel about 3km North East if Ubud. If you are looking for a modern western style 4* hotel room with aircon, a nice bathroom and a quality shower this is the place for you. The hotel has 180 degree view if the rice paddies and valley on one side and there are great views rom the rooftop garden. The downside is that the hotel is too far from Ubud to walk and there are no other places to go on the street nearby, so you need to take the free shuttle or taxi in and out of Ubud to do anything. Hotel menu is limited after a couple of days.
Overall though great value and perfect for my daughter, but I prefer a Bali bungalow style room and to be amongst it all closer to Monkey Forest Road or Jan Bisma

Beautiful views

This hotel meets western standards, has beautiful views overlooking rice fields, great relaxing area and good selection of TV channels. Staff is super nice, food is good. Hotel is located outside of the centre but you can arrange shuttle for free or ask the staff to arrange private taxi. Or you can even walk, the street is busy but safe to walk on.

This hotel was beyond my expectation, very tidy and clean, great view for breakfast, clean swimming pool, super value for money! It was not very close to the Ubud center but they provide free transport and pick up on certain times.

A new hotel !!!

I was so glad that Hotels.com recommended me Puri Padma hotel.I went back the 2nd time ( they had full occupancy,the hotel booked,arranged for me to stay in Hotel Evitel Resort Ubud...love this hotel too ( New ).

Well worth the price!

This is a simple and somewhat stylish hotel and WELL WORTH the low price. The hotel lacks the added features one comes to expect in Bali...such as a good shower, good water pressure, and a hearty breakfast. The folks at the hotel are very nice and did their best to address these issues. The views over the rice fields is a very attractive feature as is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Very adequate and a good cheap option in the close outskirts of Ubud.

Nice new hotel outside the busy center

The hotel is situated outside the busy center. It's a 15 mins walk, or a 3 minute motorbike ride.

The hotel looks nice and new, the pool (appr. 15m) is clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help with motorbike rent and transfers.
Breakfast is simple but adequate.
The room is small, but everything you would expect is there.

The only real comment I had, was the smell from the drain in the bathroom. It smelled like sewer in the entire room. After mentioning this at the reception, someone came to fix it immediately. Unfortunately, the smell came back after two days.

Other than that, no complaints and would recommend this hotel.

I checked out of another hotel in Ubud early because it was so bad, I just wanted a nice clean room.
It was very nice, but you do have to take a taxi everywhere. They only serve breakfast at this hotel so you do need to go into town for dinner. Very good wifi, just not in the room.

More than ok stay.

A more than ok stay.
The hotel looks new. The rooms are small, but nice. The shower is nice and hot, which is not always the case in Bali. The bed was comfortable enough.
My room (106) was situated just in front of the pool. I literally had to only take one step to have a swim. The pool is approximately 12m long.
The only real downside was the smell from the drain in the shower. After mentioning this, the staff came imediately to fix it. The smell did return after a day or two though.
Breakfast is not special, but adequate.
Staff was very friendly and assisted with motorbike rental and transfer to Gili Air. Both for a fair price.
The location is a 15 min walk from Ubud Centre. There is a free shuttle service a couple of times a day. Outside these times, they offer taxi service for a reasonable price.
All in all, especially considering the price, I would recommend this place.

Amazing value for money!

Although small, our room was extremely comfortable, modern and clean. The lady who runs the reception is unbelievably helpful along with the other staff. The location is a bit odd, although has an authentic view from the restaurant and rooftop of the rice and wheat fields behind. The location wasn't a problem for us as we did activities everyday and they pick you up. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle into the centre of Ubud which has quaint markets and lots of places to eat. The rooftop of this hotel is absolutely amazing to watch the sunset from - would definitely recommend!

Absolutely awesome staff

We had misunderstanding about the room size but management offered us an upgrade for free, also offered us if we decide to change hotel to give us transport to another one. In the end we stayed and we really enjoyed it. They treated us like in the heaven and we would love to be back one day:) Thanks for everything!

Pieni huone mutta palveli asiansa, hotellissa ei mitään erikoista. Mukava henkilökunta. Huoneistomme AC laite veti viimeisiään, puhaltimen laakerit niin loppu että yöksi oli pakko sammuttaa.. Jos äänekäs naapuri, voit olla varma että kuulet hänen toimensa selvästi.

Worth it

Staff is really patient and friendly. Room is Functional and budget. Compare with Kuta hotel, I really like Padma hotel with peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast and food also excellent. Location great, stay quiet but easy to reach Ubud market if you use motor bike.

清潔で、スタッフが笑顔で、コスパ抜群のホテル

ウブドのホテルではこの価格で、コンパクトに必要な物は揃っていてコスパバツグンなホテル。部屋は毎日パリパリの気持ち良いシーツに変えてくれて、掃除も行き届いていた。廊下などピカピカに磨いていた。ウブドまでフリーシャトルで好きな時間に送ってくれるし、ブラブラ歩いて行っても苦にならなかった。シャワーの排水が一点気になったが、1〜2分待てば問題ないし、ホテルのスタッフの親切さと感じよさは、それを補って余りある、居心地の良いホテルだった。

Booked out on arrival and loud guest

Unfortunately the hotel was booked out when we arrived! This was really annoying as we arrived from Europe and we were so happy to arrive and fall into our bed....So we had to take another drive to another hotel. This hote was good but it was very loud in the entwr of Ubud which we absolutely would never chose. The next day we could check in at Puuri Padma which has clean rooms and a small bathroom. All in all the rooms are OK not more and not less. Unfortunately there was also very louf guest listen to music and drinking till 1am and the reception staff did nothing against it so we had to deal with them to finaly get some sleep. After 3 night we were glad to get somewhere else and I guess I would book another hotel in ubud for the next time.

Fijn hotel voor goede prijs

Met familie in het hotel geweest. Op zich een fijn hotel voor schappelijke prijs. Had er op basis van de reviews en foto's wel iets meer van voorgesteld. De goedkopere kamers in het hotel waren vrij klein maar wel oké (hotel nog vrij nieuw). Wel jammer dat twee kamers aan de achterkant waren zonder uitzicht/vrij donker in de kamer. Bij een kamer was de airco & ventilator op de gang erg luid wat echt een minpunt is. Vond de locatie ook echt tegenvallen. Het ligt aan vrij drukke straat ongeveer 2km van het centrum van Ubud. Had achteraf denk ik een ander hotel gekozen waar ook een tuin bij zit...

Fantastisk hotel til billige penge

Fantastisk hotel. Personalet var ekstremt serviceminded. Værelset er småt men det er rent og hyggeligt. Badeværelset er rent og det var en rigtig god oplevelse. Morgenmaden er også god - du får værdi for pengene. Selvom hotellet ligger et lille stykke fra centrum så er der gratis kørsel ind til centrum - det fungerede rigtig godt. Man kan sagtens gå derind. Så får man set lidt. Helt klart anbefale dette hotel. Det er mere et 4 stjernet hotel - rigtig god oplevelse

Fantastisk seng, lille værelse, og ok lokation

Hotel ligger lidt uden for Ubud centrum, men taxa eller scooter-leje er man der på få minutter. Hotel virker relativt nyt, værelset i pænt stand, men dog ret trangt og meget lidt plads. Til gengæld var seng, dyner og puder formidable.
Hotellets restaurant leverede nogle helt ok retter og en udmærket morgenmad også. Til afslapning, hvis man ikke har behov for Ubud by er det helt fint, og også som base for udflugter i og omkring Ubud, hvis man ikke behøver bo lige i centrum.

Schönes Hotel in der Nähe von dem Centrum Ubud´s

Das Hotel liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten von dem Centrum entfernt. Es geht aber auch ein Shuttle Service den wir ab und zu nutzen. Die Zimmer sind schön und lassen keinen Wunsch offen. Restaurant und Pool sind schön gestaltet und lassen einen Ausblick auf kleine Reisterassen und Palmen zu. Das Personal war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit.

Gutes Hotel für kurzen Aufenthalt

Das Hotel war ganz süß für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Leider war das Zimmer sehr klein und hatte nur ein kleines Fenster neben der Tür, daher war es auch sehr dunkel. Das Personal war super freundlich, hatte uns extra nach später Ankunft noch essen gemacht, obwohl die Küche geschlossen war. Hotel ist leider ein wenig abseits so dass man den Shuttle nehmen muss. Hat zwei mal super geklappt, beim 3. mal kam leider kein Shuttle im Zentrum an.

Hotel correct mais bien déçus

Il est vrai que ce n'est pas notre meilleure expérience ! Pour commencer, alors que nous avions réservé pour 10 jours ils n'avaient pas de chambre pour nous en arrivant donc sans nous demander notre avis il nous ont envoyé dans un autre hotel alors que nous avions prévu de faire des choses dès le lendemain matin. Pour se faire pardonner cette maladresse, ils nous ont promis de nous surclasser dès le lendemain mais rien ! Nous avons essayé de prendre les choses avec philosophie mais quand nous avons donné notre linge à laver ils ont perdu nos chaussettes, du coup nous avons demandé ce qu'il s'était passé mais ils sont restés évasifs et comme compensation on nous a déduit 1€ par paire de chaussettes perdue sur la note finale, Wouah !
La chambre était confortable mais sombre, l'hôtel est assez éloigné des commodités et les gens étaient gentils mais pas toujours efficaces à l'exception d'une jeune femme toute fine qui nous a organisé nos excursions et qui répondait à nos questions au mieux !
Nous sommes partis un jour plus tôt que prévu pour nous échapper de cette ambiance un peu déprimante.
Bref, par rapport aux autres hôtels, c'est une vraie déception même si nous n'aimons pas trop être négatifs, nous ne risquons pas d'y retourner....

Das Hotel war sehr sauber.Das Frühstück a la Carte war lecker, jedoch die Portionen waren zu klein. Als bessere Option würde ich hier ein Buffet sehen.Das Hotel liegt außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, das zu Fuß in 20-30 Minuten zu erreichen ist.Das Personal sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! Als Minus war es, dass im Badezimmer gestunken hat...

Brazilian tourists at Ubud

This hotel is located roughly 5 minutes away (by car) from the center of Ubud, which is good for those who want to go to the market and to the monkey forest by foot. The rooms are comfortable, albeit somewhat small. The room we stayed was quite, even though the hotel's main street is too busy. The staff were always very friendly with us. Overall, good value for money!

Fint men väldigt dåligt skött

Hotellet är modernt och fint men visar för många bevis på oerfaren ledning. Vi blev besvikna gång på gång av en hel lista med saker. Jag hade t.ex före ankomst beställt blommor och frukt till min flickvän. Istället fick vi vänta 45 minuter ute i hettan på att vårt rum skulle förberedas, trots att vi anlände efter utsatt check-in tid. AC:n på rummet var dålig. Vi fick en extra fläkt och blev lovade en reparatör till AC:n, men ingen kom. Ingen wifi på rummet. Listan fortsätter.

Recomendo!

Hotel muito bom e bonito. Apesar de estar a 20 minutos andando do centro de Ubud, o hotel oferece transfer em horários pré definidos. A piscina é ótima, com vista para os campos de arroz.
Quarto espaçoso e confortável.
