Rooms are well Maintained, if I talk about staff most of the staff are humble and polite but some have communication issue. Issue I have faced are below.
1. They didn’t take my Marriot membership number and informed me that they will not take it since booking was done through Expedia, this is pretty strange.
2. We booked room with dinner but their chef didn’t know how to prepare Indian food. This is pretty strange that lots of Indian are staying in this property and everyone was complaining about this. Ideally they should give training to their chef on his to cook Indian food. We wasted our money by booking room with dinner.
3. Bad and rude behaviour of their restaurant manager Bima. They doesn’t behave properly with customer and was very rude with us.

Would have been 10/10 if per night would be less than 100$. I would categorize this as 5 star I don’t blame hotel but I blame hotel.com.

Walk to the room was quite a lot. They should offer partial refund if a customer checks out early after using only 25% of the day rather than the full day rate.

Peaceful Retreat in Ubud – Highly Recommended!

I had a lovely stay at Element by Westin Ubud and would definitely return. The hotel is modern, very clean, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It offers great facilities, including a swimming pool, spa, and a well-equipped gym.

Although it’s a non-smoking hotel, there are two designated outdoor smoking areas that are thoughtfully placed so as not to disturb other guests—very considerate for both smokers and non-smokers.

The staff truly stood out—they were warm, helpful, and always available to assist. Room service was quick and efficient, and housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the room daily.

One of the highlights was the complimentary shuttle to and from Ubud center and the Monkey Forest, running every two hours. Just a small note: during peak times or when large groups book the shuttle, it can fill up quickly. It would be helpful if the hotel could offer an extra shuttle in those cases.

A nice bonus is the free use of bicycles and electric motorbikes, which makes exploring Ubud even more enjoyable.

The breakfast was delicious and varied, though I would have loved to see more cheese options. Still, everything else was fresh and plentiful.

The hotel is located in a peaceful area with walkable streets leading to the center. I personally prefer this quiet location over staying in the busy, noisy parts of Ubud.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a relaxing atmosphere.

The staff here was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. It’s a bit of a drive from the airport, but it is overall a great area to stay in. The restaurant is amazing and so are the amenities (like the spa and pool). It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. However, I found that the time around the pool was disturbed by inappropriate music. Too loud, and totally not relaxing.Heavy bass ground, totally destroyed the ambience of a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself was a little too far away from the centre of town. The shuttle service helped, but should be every hour instead of every 2 hours.

This is a lovely piece of paradise in Ubud. It is not in the City center but a very drive will bring you to so many shops, cafes, restaurants and the monkey forest and temple too! It’s close to coffee plantations, wood working shops, waterfalls, rice terraces and so much more! My husband was sick with a bad cold and the staff who realized this really went out of their way to bring him little extras to make his stay feel more comfortable. The beds are also very comfortable too! The restaurant offers foods from all over the world as well as Indonesian foods too. We also loved happy hour by the pool and their pizza oven made great pizzas! The pool staff, the restaurant staff, the front desk staff are amazing and really make this resort a great home away from home. We can’t wait to return!!

Hotel is set back from street giving it a tranquil setting. Location is fine to take transpo to the center. You can technically walk to the center but it is a bit over a mile. Hotel has a tram service you can take. Walking for adults would be fine, but wouldn't recommend for kids. Once in hotel gates it is quiet and you wouldn't know there is a city right outside. Couple places to eat close by but most is in the center. Hotel restaurant is great.

This is my favorite place to land whenever I get to Bali> I generally stay here until I find longer term accommodations. At this point, the staff knows me and treats me like family. I feel welcomed, safe, and cared for while surrounded in the natural beauty of the space. Everyone is so helpful. The rooms are beautiful clean and relaxing. The food is amazing. The hotel was lovely although our room had a musty/mouldy smell. We asked to look at another room, but this smelt the same. Not enough umbrellas around the pool. Breakfast food in serving dishes was not hot. Too much expectation on using apps to locate information, ie there is a cinema on site but couldn’t find out what was showing. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Overall though loved the hotel.

The property is very good. Service is excellent. Our 4 year old was very well looked after by the staff. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our room was cleaned twice a day and the corridors are kept very clean at all times. The pool has been fantastic and the water was very clean and fresh.
The only issue I had was that the air freshener used in the elevator is quite strong and caused me headaches.

The rooms are clean & spacious, and the staff is extremely friendly, courteous & helpful. The dining staff went the extra mile to create customised items for us, like vegetarian options as well as deserts that were not part of the menu. The food quality is quite good and the breakfast spread had plenty of choices in it. A great place for families if you are looking for a relaxed vacation!
